Quantity base Pricing in contract

Hi All,
i need to capture below functionality in sap
A Sales Contracts are created for large quantities. The base price changes for the different quantity slot.
For Example: Contract is created for 2,00,000 Tonne. Deliveries upto 0 - 50,000 Tonne will have base price of 25 USD.
Deliveries upto 50001 to 100000 Tonne will have base price of 30 USD. Deliveries upto 100001 to 200000 Tonne will have a base price of 35 USD.
Base on quantity system should display whole Price in contract
for example -- Qyt up to 0 - 50,000 * 25 = 1250,000 ( First condition line )
                        Qyt up to 50001 to 100000 * 30 = 1,500,000
                      Qyt up to  100001 to 200000 * 35 = 3,500,000
can any one guide me how to map this functionality in sap
Thanks
Rajesh

Hi Rajesh,
As  per my thinking Your requirement can be fulfilled by two options
1. Mainatining Scales while maintaining the condition records in VK11. Activate the scales in V/06, In VK11, in the condition value entry screen Go to--->scales , Here you can maintain the scale based values.
2 Check whether you can use PR02 condition type for gradually increment in price.
Thanks,
Raja

  • Condition type for discount on quantity basis

    hi all
in pricing procedure of MM, i want to make a discount on quantity basis.
    for ex- 100q- 2% discount.
which condition type i have to maintan
    thankx
    susanta

    Hi,
Here your requirement is Discount is in percentage but scale basis is quantity.
So use Condition Type RA01 (Discount % on Gross) or Copy of it, in Calculation Schema (M/08)
Note: - Keep Scale basis as ''C" Quantity scale for the Discount Condition Type
Now in ME11 (Purchase Info Record) OR MEK1 (Condition Record), maintain scales for this condition type ss for 100 Qty, 2.00% Discount.

    hi..
please go to spro>log general>tax on goods movement>india>business transaction>subcontracting>maintain movment type group
    and maintain as given
    0001 102
    0001 122
    0001 541
    0001 544 O
    0002 542
    0002 543 O
    and
Also This can be solved as under. ( check for following also)
You will have to activate PO number as a required field for 541 mvmt.
Materials Management -> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory ->
Goods Issue / Transfer Postings -> Define Screen Layout.
For movement type 541 the purchase order field has to be maintained as
an optional entry or as a required entry here. (under normal condition it will be suppressed)
This has not been done, otherwise the error message would appear as the mseg-ebeln would not hold the PO number.
After doing this carryout a new cycle. you will not get any error.

  • BED At  quantity basis

    hi all
i need to config the bed at 75Rs per quantity....
i maintained my condition type JMOQ on quantity basis...
but while maintaining the tax code system is giving me error
define the tax code on level 560....
what is the cause of ths error...
    sap mm

Some missed your point on Quantity based allocation, in the multiple account assignment area only % allocation is available, I see the only solution as converting the qty basis into a close approximate % basis. You can always automate this % allocation calculation through custom code in the PO user exit, so that the end user need not do the calculation.

  • Pricing in contract management

    Dear all
i have doubt in contract management like value contract & quantity contract.
should pricing will be different in contract mangement?
    regards
    ajit

    Hi Ajit
Value contract: Deal between vendor and customer to provide goods/service of worth some value (i.e. monies). e.g. Value contract of 9000 USD, vendor would provide goods/service of worth 9000 USD to customer.
Quantity contract: Deal between vendor and customer to provide goods/service of some defined quantity (i.e. number of pieces, packets, or hours if service). e.g. Quantity contract of 900 packets, vendor would provide 900 packets of goods customer.
should pricing will be different in contract mangement?
Pricing will not be different in contracts. It is same as normal orders, normal pricing procedures.

  • Quantity based pricing

    Hi !
We have a requirement where we require the price to be determined based on certain qty in the sales order. For example for a material,
    1. For 100 nos price to be determined  - Rs 50 (per unit price)
    2. For 200 nos price to be determined - Rs 25 (per unit price)
Pl help with how to go about configuring the same.
    Thanks!
    Reena

    Hi,
Ur requirement can fulfilled by using scales which defined in the condition type.
    Example:condition type:PR00
    Scales
A scale in a condition record where prices, discounts, or surcharges are defined for different customer order quantities or values.
This scale is used by the system to determine the price, discount, or surcharge for a given quantity or value.
This is defined in the each condition type
spro--> img>sd->basic functions> pricing>pricing control->define cond type--->select any one condtion type eg: PR00--> come down u will find scales views.
    scales basis:
depending upon the scales basis the prices are determined according. In the scale basis select B Value scale.
Now  goto VK11--> pr00> select material with release status--> enter the material & give the first price INR.50/unit
now selct the line--> click GOTO in the menu bar & select scales> here in the second line give from:200 & amount:25/unit---> save
check out in the sales order
<b>The other sclae basis avalibale are:</b>
    B Value scale
    C Quantity scale
    D Gross weight scale
    E Net weight scale
    F Volume scale
G Scale based on a formula
    L Point scale
M Time period scale - Month
N Time period scale - Years
O Time period scale - Days
P Time period scale - Week
    R Distance
    S Number of shipping units
    T reserved (IS-OIL, time prices
    X reserved (IS-OIL, day prices)
    hope this helps u

  • How to control Order/Target Quantity with reference to Contract Quantity

    Hello GURUs,
In my current organization, there is one scenario in which i have to control target quantity in sales contract e.g., i have created sales contract of 100 MT (contract no : 123), and with reference to that contract i have created another contract for say 100 MT (contract no : 456), after that i have changed quantity (of contract no 456) to 150 from original quantity 100. In this case system allows to do so, which is not correct, and i want same to be control based original contract quantity.
Is there any solution in standard system to control the same? If there is any then pleas let me know.
    Thanks,
    Pratik

    Hello,
    Let me clarify your requirement:
You have created Contract no. 456 (100 MT) with reference to another Contract No. 123 (100 MT).
Now you want that system should not allow to change quantity in Contract no. 456 & keep it as it is (100 MT) in Original Contract No. 123.
Now, if the above requirment is from Sales Order created with reference to Contract then it can be easily don thru Item Category Controls.
But as the second COntract (456) is entirely a new Contract with it own contral parameters (validity dates, etc) system will allow you to change Quantity & other feilds).
You requirment is not standard & will have be achieved thru applying a User Exit. Speak to your ABAPer & he would do the needful .
    Hope this helps,

  • Output determination with base pricing condition types

    Hi folks,
got a question regarding the Output determination..
In the outptut type i.e order confirmation and change order confirmation, it is showing the the base price condition type i.e PR00.
But the client wants it to pick up the condition type material discount k004...
is it possible ?   because what my understanding was that the output types typically picks the base condition type PR00.
but the client wants it to pick up this K004..
can anyone say how to do this....
    thanx in advance,
    sourav
    I

In the Pricing procedure configuration there is a column Print, where for each condition you may specify if and how the condition should be printed. There is good documentation (F1) available on this field. Clear this field on PR00 and set to 'a' (or any other applicable value) for K004. This change will affect all the documents that are using the same pricing procedure though.
Otherwise either the output processing program or the form (both names may be found in the Output configuration) will have to be changed or, if the standard ones are being used, those will have to be copied as the custom (Z...) objects and then modified accordingly.

  • Quantity base POC method of result analysis

    hello all,
We are trying to create the result analysis key with quantity based POC method for Projects. we are choosing the Profit basis as E,K,M but we are getting the error ' Profit basis is only used for sales order.
Can anybody help resolving the issue?
    Regards,
    sudhir

    RamSiva,
I see that you've got the calculated COGS equal to the actual cost.  I would have thought that for quantity based POC the calculated cost should be equal to POC x C(p).  So if that's the case, I think the postings should be as follows:
    Debit Revenue for 36,000
Credit Reserve for Revenue surplus for 36,000
    Since I don't know what the planned cost were I don't know what the correct signs are for COGS adjustment;
    Debit / Credit (Expense)
Debit / Credit (Capitalized cost or reserve for unrealized cost, depending on the sign)
If R(a) less than R(c) then:
    Credit Revenue
Debit Revenue in excessive of billings
    thanks,

  • Scale Base Pricing

In pricing we have scales setup by Material Family (material price group) so if you enter three different materials from the same family it accumulates the prices on all three line items and each line item has the same price according to the family scale.  But for one sales order type (AUART) the scale needs to be for line item only and not by family.  The condition type is ZR00 and the scale basis is C.  The requestor does not want to have to setup any master data so that is why I cannot create a new condition just for that sales order type or an additional access by order type.  Would like to know if I can do this with a routine or formula and how it would be done.
    Thanks,
    TRB

    Hi Toni
The logic has to be written based on the summing up of all requirements.
For eg, in your example, you want the third material to behave differently in Quotations. Like that if more materials are there to behave differently in picking up the prices from scales, the option will be to have a bespoke table carrying a possible combination of material pricing group / materials with a key field in the table which decides how the scale base value should be picked up. A logic can be written in such a way that if this key field is on, the scale base value should be picked up different to that of the normal logic which can be coded through ABAP.
I have worked on scales but not exactly to this requirement. My suggestion would be follow this route, if the client is still not convinced on changing the master data. Again this solution will work if the number of materials is not very high because of performance issues in pricing. The logic will depend on number of materials &  pricing master data scale value, hence this solution has to be validated according to the requirements. Huge amount of testing will be involved in this for sure.
    Hope it helps.

  • MM Pricing Schema - Contract item price not picked

    Hi All,
For a certain Material and Vendor, when there is a Info Rec Condition and Contract Condition maintained, I thought having the Key table for Contract (016) above the Key table for Info Rec (017) in the Access Sequence for PB00 would take the Contract Price over the Info Record. Also the "Exclusive" ind is set fo both key tables in the access sequence.
When I goto the pricing analysis, I see "Access not made (initialized field)" message with a yellow exclamation appear for the Contract Item key table row in the Access Sequnce.
    Why is this? Any idea?

    Hi,
It seems that valid Condition Record for the key combination specified for the Contract has not been picked by the system.
In Access Sequence, you will define which fields the SAP system should check in searching for a Valid Condition Record.
Please check the fields mentioned in the access for Contract and try to maintain the condition record with those field values for the Contracts. Then, you will get the price from the Contract prior to Info record.

    Narayana.

  • Open quantity in list of contracts(VA45)

    Hi,
I cannot find the open quantity filed in list of contracts report(VA45). Could anyone tell me how to add this field into VA45 report?
    Many Thanks
    Jean

    Hi Jean,
basically according, to the SAP - Sales concept is concerned, there are two things. One is the order quantity which always refers to the total order qty for a material. Other is the open order qty, which is always based on a formaula.
For eg. I create an order for a material m1 for 1000 pieces.
Suppose, I have already invoiced 250 pieces from it and also i have taken a fresh delivery for another 250 pieces. Then the open order qty will be = total order qty - ( deliveries + picking + PGI + invoice)
    i.e = 1000 - (250+250).
        = 500.
So open order qty simply based on the above formula. You can use this formula in your programming.

  • Pricing in contracts

    Hi,
we can have seperate pricing procedure,in case of release order is system will allow to use another pricing proc , if so then what will happen

    Hi,
For contracts we have seperate pricing procedure. It will depend upon the pricing procedure determination, by which the document pricing procedure will be assigned to Cus PP + Sales area + Pr. Pro.
Normally for contracts the Doc Pricing procedure will be different from normal sales documents. If you want to have a release order to pick diff pricing procedure, the you change the doc pricing procedure of the release order and assigne it to the respective pricing procedure.
