Query in Smart Form

Hi All
I have data from two internal tables to be printed using a Smart form. Each should start on a new page. For example, I have 'Employee leave details' and 'Employee salary details' itabs. Using one smart form I have to display both these itabs. Each itab should start on a new page. When I am giving a page break using COMMAND node, the main window is not picked in the next page. Can anyone please help me out on this. Your help will surely be appreciated and points will be rewarded.

Try this. Display the internal tables in a Block.
Block.
write itab.
Endblock.
This will make sure that the internal table is always printed in a block and if there is no space in the first page then it will jump to the next page. As you have two internal tables to be displayed, I'm sure it will jump to the second page as you desire.

Please clarify this query of Mine .
An e mail would be sent with a smart form as attachemnt . The sending of email has been configured through spro . But the name of the smart form goes in the subject of the email .(For example if the name of the smart form is ZTEST then the subject of the email is ZTEST . ) The requirement is that the name of the smart form should not appear in the subject of the Email . Can anyone please tell me how to achieve the above (that is, smart form name should not appear in the subject of the Email).

check this thread.
in ECC5.0 smartform name : /SMB40/MMPO_DE.
for smartforms,you no need to have a seperate print program.total logic will be inside of the smartform(function module).

I have to fetch the following fields as per the requirement for desiging a invoice smartform.I had copied lb_bill_invoice smartform into z format.
Can anyone here please give me the select query for the same.
fields to fetched are as follows:-

3.konv-kbetr with respect to vbrk-knumv
4.konv-kwert.
And also what all I have to give in format interface and global definitions of the smartform.

declare the variables V_arktx(40) and v_Qty like vbrp-fkimp and other varaibles for Kbetr, kwert, knumv on the global definitions.
select single arktx fkimg into (v_arktx, v_qty) from vbrp
where vbeln = LBBIL_IT_REFPURORD-BIL_NUMBER.
select single knumv into v_knumv from vbrk where where vbeln = LBBIL_IT_REFPURORD-BIL_NUMBER.
this select has to fire in the item level and in the loop.
so have to write in the correct place.

Smart Form - operator not followed by value

Hi all,
in smart form --> Global definition --> initialization
i have written this code....
select belnr gjahr bukrs blart bldat budat waers into corresponding fields of
table tbkpf from bkpf where
bukrs = ubukrs and gjahr = ugjahr and budat in ubudat.
Here cmp code and fiscal year is parameter but posting date is select-options.
Its gives error :- The IN operator with "BUDAT" is followed neither by an internal table nor by a value list.
i have taken input parameters also.

select-options should be handled in a different manner in smart forms.
declare 2 variable say
1) budat_low
2) budat_high.
Pass the low value of posting date to budat_low and high value of posting date to budat_high.
then handle the above 2 variables in select query using BETWEEN.
eg: budat between budat_low and budat_high.

Can u please help me out in my query regading how the data passes to
LBBIL_INVOICE. Billing Data: Transfer Structure to Smart Forms.
I have an smartform which runs through VF01/VF02/ VF03 while pressing the print preview button.
But if i try to run it directly from driver program, no data wil be displayed. Now i have the requirement to detach from VF03.. and make it to run directly from my driver program.
what shall i have to do to achieve this. Should i have to take all the internal tables saparately or else can i use LBBIL_invoice structure itself.
If i can use that structure itself, how to make the data flow into it. Pls help me.
In my codeing these includes were there. is there anything related , is the data passes because of these includes

1. These are normal structure
2. you can use anywhere but they designed for forms currently.
3. Yes ,it works like it will look at NAST Table -> nast table will connect the TNAPR Table -> tnapr will have smart form print program.
so smart form program calls smartform and it will show output
4. you can create your own structure and use them into anywhere like report program or forms..
5. you can see example simple form name SF_EXAMPLE_01 ,program name is SF_EXAMPLE_01 ,you can design your own form and print program.

I have to create a smart form for cutting list in PP module.
Selection criteria are:
1.) select all orders(AFKO-AUFNR) wiht AFVU-USR00 = 'CUT' where AFVU-AUFPL = AFKO-AUFPL
2.) Group according to material no.(AFKO-PLNBEZ)
Form fields are as follows:

1) Based on the select criteria.fetch values in to differnet itab's from differnet tables.
2) then try to put the selected rows based on condition into a single internal table.
3)u can send that final internal table from program and u have to use that internal table in form interrface.
4)design the smartforms and call the fields accordingly from the final inetrnal table .
5)u should be good in using select query ,read table statement etc.
check this with other and take a decision.some of them use to write codes then and there before using the fields using progarm lines.
but i am comfortable in my method.

Smart form update

Dear all
we are implementing sap ecc 6.0 and my previous project is SAP All in one ecc 5.0 where i have installed building blocks. After installing building blocks some Abap smart forms got updated then it became easy for our Abap consultant to make the necessary Abap smart form program
my query is there any updates like particular support pack to make the smart forms to be updated or any program that can be down loaded from sap market site to make the smart forms to be updated
Requirement is to make the smartform to be updated and to make the work easy
In this project our product is SAP ecc 6.0 R3 product so we cant install building blocks but is there any othe way to update our smart forms

Out put is not displayed in smart form

Hi,
i have designed a smart form.i want to see the smartform without having datas so i designed completely with out writing select query to get details.
My samrt form get activated but while running the smart form. Simply a white page is displayed instead of displying the header contents , logo , field names.

As soon as you activate the smartform, a function module will be generated. You can view that clicking Environment->Function Module say suppose '/1BCDWB/SF00000166'.
Goto Se37. Give this function Module and Click Execute.
This is other way of viewing your layout without data.

Smart Forms Basics

Hi Folks,
I am new to smartforms, just i am learning.
I had an issue , if anybody provides me guide lines i would b gr8ful.
I started by converting a script to smart form to know the flow of Sform.
i had used in one of the window a global variablewhich was available in corresponding driver program.
& itab-v1&.
But i am getting error when i want to activate the newly created ( which is migrated from script) like
FIELD &itab-v1& is unknown..
How to rectify the error..even i created an output type for this sform.
please advise.

Hi Raja,
I suppose your requirement goes like this.
Your are selecting the values from Z-table into an int.table itab and using a structure to display the values in smartforms.
In that case, this is how you have to proceed.
In the tables tab of Form Interface ,
define
ITAB TYPE Z-table.
In the Global data tab of Global definitions,
define
GTAB type z-table .
Now a work area is created.
Now you can create a loop from ITAB to GTAB.
Now you can make the text elements as GTAB-value.

Can i assign a table at run time mens table rows and column will depend on user selection and no. of records fetched by query. Is there any utility.

At the time of table creation in Smart Form, we had to assign no. of columns and its width.
In the case when no. of coulumns will be decided by the no of records return from the query. how can i link smart form with that records.
No. of coulms in the smart form will be decided on the i/p no. given by the user. it can be any no.
Plz suggest me the appropriate things.
Is it possible or not in the smart forms.

Smart Forms : Total pages greater than 9 printing as *

Hi All,
I have one Smart form having 10 pages.
If the Total pages more than 9 pages its showing as page 9 of * .
but If total pages are less than 10 then its is coming properly as Page 1 of 9.
[Smart Forms Total number pages more than 9 print ing as *;
I have also check this thread and use &SFSY-FORMPAGES(3ZC)& But in this case it is coming page 1 of 01
Please help.

Define the window containing this text as a "late processing window" (General attributes, Window type set to "L Final Window")
(For 46c/46d this option did not exist, there was a solution described in [Note 359009 - Postprocessing and query of the total number of pages|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/359009] for older versions [Note 588352 - '*' when you output the total number of pages|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/588352] suggested to "reserve sufficient space for the number of pages by specifying an explicit length in the formatting options")
