Queue with CRM and SRM

Hello all,
landscape is R/3 4.7, EBP and CRM
Problem that I have is that EBP is receiving CRM loads from R/3.
Users in R/3 for EBP and CRM are separate, Q prefix is different, and in inbound queue of EBP I can still see loads from R/3 which are for CRM (they are going to CRM also).
Is there any way to distinguish receiver of R/3 adapter to receive in EBP only loads for EBP?
TIA
Gordan

Hi Gordan,
I think the problem is with the table CRMCONSUM in  both the systems...See whetehr the entry has been maintained in this table for SRM as the User/COnsumer in both the systems.
  Hope this helps.

  • Reconcilation of Customer and Vendor from CRM and SRM to 0bpartner in BI

    Hi,
I am having customer master data and vendor master data in ECC  both represents the same numbers .Ex: 10001 - customer1 and 10001 - vendor1.
I am sending this data from ECC system to CRM and SRM system and again Iam loading this data into 0BPARTNER Infoobject in BW from CRM and SRM systems.
In BW it is messing up, when i do a report on CRM cube it show me the vendor descriptions where i supposed to see customer descriptions .
I can't change the ECC customer and vendor numbers since i need to change all other legacy systems depending on this .
Can any one tell me how to fix this problem and your help is truly appreciated.

  • Possible to use CCM 2.0 with both CRM and SRM using OCI?

    Hi,
I am preparing a solution with SRM, CRM and CCM where CCM should be the central product catalog,
internal ordering should be done using SRM and external ordering (reselling and billing) using CRM.
However, the content is the same, so I either need to provide it once in CCM and create different
views and OCI-connections from SRM and CRM or I need a way to extract a catalog from CCM and import
    it into CRM.
    In posting 83841
    Is SRM Mandatory with CCM?
I learned that CCM 3.0 will support CRM processes.
However, I could not find any hint when CCM 3.0 will be available.
I assume CCM 2.0 support OCI as well, so in principle it should be possible to use one CCM view in CRM and another CCM view in SRM.
    Is this assumption correct?
    Regards, Andreas

    Hi Andreas,
yes, via OCI one catalog can be integrated into different applications.
Regarding the release: CCM 2.0 is the last release of the SAP Catalog.
There will be no CCM in the future.
In the new version of MDM the catalog function is integrated and it is
mandatory to be used in new implementations as well with SRM 6.0.
There are some tricky things in CCM and it is hard to get support, as
    the main focus is MDM.
When you have a chance to plan the landscape, consider MDM from
    long term perspective.

  • Integartion with ERP and SRM

    Hi,
We are looking for integration of E-sourcing 6.0 with ERP 4.6C and SRM 3.0 with Extended classic scenarion.
Is it possible to do the integration, if not can you suggest how the above scenario can be acheived?
Is it possible to integrate the MDM 2.0?
    Regards,

Integration between ESO and SRM is a custom solution with help from SAP. We have implemented this recently.  However Intergration between ESO and ECC is standard.
Please reach out to SAP for further assistance.

  • SMQ2 - Found a queue with name "*" and all other queues stuck in STOP state

    Hi all,
We have a problem on the ECC side, on outbound asynchronous proxies. Sometimes a new queue appears on SMQ2 there with name "", and with status "STOP". At this time, all other queues stuck with STOP status... the only way of resetting all those queues to RUNNING state again is to delete the queue named as ""...
Some of you has any idea how this queue "*" appears there and stop all other queues?
    thanks
    roberti

    Hi Ravi,
Is not only about one queue stopped... the problem is this queue named ""... with status STOP, all other queues stops too with it. The only way to make things work again is to delete the queue named as ""... the problem is to discover what or who is creating this stupid "*" queue. I think that this is a procedural error on datacenter, but they are saying is not the case... I'm investigating, but if someone else has any idea about I would appreciate
    thanks!

Most of the office use mozilla but we have just moved our database and office management to Sage CRM. In order to integrate the browser with CRM and transfer emails diary etc from CRM to outlook we have to use Internet explorer. Is there any good reason for this and is there a way round.

  • Integrating OSM with CRM & Inventory system

    Hi,
We are using OSM 7.0 in our solution, in which we need to integrate OSM with CRM and one inventory system.
We need to notify CRM at various stages during order fulfillment for e.g. after completing different milestones like Order submitted, Inventory Done and Order Completed. Among these notifications, Order Submitted notification would be a synchronous one and rest are the asynchronous notifications.
We are not using AIA for integration with CRM. How we can send notifications to CRM for the above stated scenarios?
Also, to integrate with Inventory system, we need to call a webservice exposed by that system. Could you please confirm if the below steps are correct to achieve the same or there is some other way?
    1. Write Automation plug-in
    2. Configure JMS queue on weblogic server
    3. Post request message on JMS queue
    4. Write JMS Client to get the message from the queue
    5. Package the message in SOAP envelop and call the webservice API.
    ~RS

    RS;
In our AIA cartridges, we make use of automated OSM notifications to send events to Siebel CRM via AIA. There are several different kinds of notifications available in OSM, the ones that we use in particular for this purpose are data-change notifications which is invoked whenever a field on the order has changed (you configure which field when you create the notification). The field that you would want to listen for changes on in your case would be the field in the OSM order that you are using to store milestone/status information. The notification plugin would then be invoked whenever this field changes and can then send a status update to your CRM system if the change is relevant.
As for your webservice integration question, first let me clarify - you are interested in invoking a web service via SOAP/HTTP instead of SOAP/JMS, is that correct?
Assuming so, your basic steps below are directionally correct, but I would offer a few additional points to consider.
Your automation plugin in step 1 would best (IMHO) be an XSLT or XQuery plugin vs. a custom java plugin. This will keep the scope of the business logic to the bare minimum of building up the SOAP message which of course XSLT and XQuery can handle with ease.
I would recommend the payload of the JMS that you create in step 3 be the entire soap:envelope, this way your client in step 4 doesn't have to parse and wrap the message. It just blindly forwards it on to the real SOAP/HTTP endpoint and waits for a response.
Your JMS client in step 4 would best be implemented by a message-driven-bean (MDB) which would be deployed to the OSM server instead of a standalone JMS client. MDB's are highly scalable JMS clients and really the way to go when you want to have some business logic be triggered based on the arrival of a JMS message.
You probably need to add steps 6 and 7 which would be to deal with the response message back to your automation plugin. This would involve the MDB getting the SOAP/HTTP response back, creating a JMS message and putting it on the response queue (which would need to be defined in step 2) and copying the JMSCorrelationID value from the request to the response JMS message to ensure it can find its way back to the task that sent it.
Now, all that being said, an alternative to all of this is to just have the automation plugin itself take care of posting the message to your SOAP/HTTP(s) endpoint. You could do this by writing a custom Java automation plugin that uses low level HTTP class libraries or uses standard WS client proxies to invoke the web service. There are pros and cons to this approach. The major pro being that it involves fewer moving pieces, the major con being that if your inventory service is not able to process requests as fast as OSM is making them (based on order volumes), then this may become a bottleneck in the OSM system. The bottlneck stems from the fact that OSM shares a pool of threads across all automation plugins. If you have one that is taking a very long time to process requests and the number of requests being processed concurrently is high, then this can lead to a situation where other automation plugins are starved. This won't result in an error, but it can result in a bottleneck which affects the overall performance of the system. This is really only a major concern if OSM is processing high volumes of orders and the inventory system is not able to keep pace.
    Brian.

  • Best practice for developing with CRM 2013 (On Premises)

Hello all.  I'm just starting to work with CRM, and I have some questions that hopefully will be simple for the seasoned developers.  It's mostly just some best practice or general how-to questions for the group.
    - When creating a new Visual Studio CRM Project I can connect to my CRM Instance and create new WebResources which deploy to the CRM instance just fine, but how can I pull all the existing items that are in the CRM Solution into the Visual Studio CRM project?
Or do I need to export the solution to a ZIP, expand it with SolutionPackager.exe, then copy these into my Visual Studio project to get it into sync?
    - When multiple developers are working on changes is it best to keep everything in a Visual Studio project as I mentioned above, or is it better for everyone to have their own instance of CRM to code with so they can Export/Import solutions as needed then
these solutions be manually merged before moving into a common Test/QA environment?
    - When modifying the submenu on a CRM form is it suggested to use Ribbon Workbench or is it better/easier to just export the solution, expand it with SolutionPackager.exe,  modify ribbondiff and anything else required for the change, package it
back up, then reimport to CRM?  I've heard from some that Ribbon Workbench has some limitations, but being green I wasn't sure what those limitations might be or if it'd be best to just manually make these changes.  Or is thre any way to have a copy
of ribbondiff in Visual Studio and deploy this without having to repackage the Solution and Import in the ZIP?
I think that's it for now :)  Thanks for any advise or suggestions.  I really want to start learning the in's and out's of CRM and how all the pieces fit together.  Also can someone direct me to some documentation or books that might give
more insight on developing for CRM 2013 or 2015 (moving to this soon)?
    Thanks for your time.

    Hi Sam
Also interested in best practice around this area - especially recommended development routes, unit testing, continuous integration etc - it would be great if you posted here if you find any good articles etc. At the moment we tend to just push changes
onto a live system as and when appropriate and I'd prefer to move away from that...
    Thanks
    Stuart

  • How to create a connection between CRM and R73??

Hi, I have a problem. I am working with CRM and in my program I have to access to some tables in R/3 to get some data, I have created a RFC function to get those data (it is created in R/3). In CRM there is a report that use that function but when I use it I get a Dump. I think it is because the connection are not established. I know that I have to go to the SM59 but I don't know how and where I have to create, and I don't know which do the Destination parameter must be.
If anybody knows how to solve it...

  • Material replication between SAP and SRM

    Howdy friends.
Is there any way to stop having to manually activate the material replication queue between SAP and SRM each time please?
Our admin team go to transaction SMQ2 each day and for 2-3 years have been manually activating each queue manually and doing this several times per queue as the entries do not reach zero. Surely, it is possible to set this up to be automatic as a job?

  • Depriciation linkage between CRM and R3.

    Dear Friends;
In leasing, how a depriciation value is get linked with CRM and R3.If the dipriciation value is variable, how can i do setting for that in CRM and R3.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards
    Suruli

    Hi Suruil,
in SAP CRM leasing solution no depreciation is stored.  In the CRM system only sales related prices should be handled. There is only a function to get the depreciation from the ERP displayed.
In ERP the depreciation is available on the asset in fixed asset accounting. The depreciation can differ in the different valuation areas. Usually a valuation is assigned to one accounting principle.
My understanding for the term depreciation is the accounting related decrease of the value of the leasing object.
    Kind regards,
    Steve.

  • Material replication without registering queues in SMQS and SMQR in SRM 7.0

    Hi,
Please help me to understand following:
What is the use of transction SMQS and SMQR ?
what is the use of registering inboud and outboud queue in SMQS and SMQR ?
Do material replication will not work if I will not register any queue in the said transaction code ?
If yes, what are the queue I need to register in SRM and ECC respectively ?
    Regds,
    Jennifer

    Hi jenny ,
    1. T code SMQS is used to register a destination and prior to this u need to define your destination by using T code SM59.
2.T code SMQR is used to set up the ques.CRM ---> CRM Middleware and Related Components -
    >Queue Setup à Register CSA Queues.
    3.  to monitor and organise the Inbound and outbound queues.
