Quicktime x crash at start up with mp4

Hi,
I got a strange Problem when i try to play a mp4 with Quicktime player X it crash at start up. Quicklook dosn't work too.
How can i fix this? I use OSX 10.10.2 with a Mac Pro 2010.

You mean at OSX Yosemite in the installESD.dmg. Do you know which one at "packages" the MediaFiles.pkg?
The thing is i get this Problem with a Software after Encode. But when i use the same software with my New Mac Pro and play it on the Mac Pro 2010 its working fine.
I am saying:
If the QT X Player v10.4 app is crashing when you attempt to play an MP4 file, then either the MP4 file is bad (corrupted or improperly encoded) or you QT X Player software is bad (improperly installed orcorrupted).
If the the MP4 file is bad, fix it or replace it.
If the QT X Player is bad, the fix it or replace it.
Since you did not indicate how you are sourcing your MP4 file(s), what forms of compressed data they contain, or what settings where used to create the files, I have no idea how they can best be fixed or replaced. As to fixing a bad QT X Player, I don't know if you have a bad system install (OS, QT embedded structures, QT codec component package, etc.), bad QT X Player app install, or post-installation corruption of a PLIST or other component within the GUI package, what software you may have installed to extract and manipulate install packages, whether or not you have access to installation packages or a copy of correctly installed and running QT X Player GUI on a different system or your level of expertise in such matters, I have no way of knowing which workflow is the best way of fixing or replacing your QT Mac OS X and/or Player components. Since you cannot simply remove and delete the QT X Player under Yosemite, most novice users simply reinstall the entire system to fix such problems while experienced users might fix their problem by replacing corrupted/missing files or corrupted package components when/where possible. Only you can decide what is the best approach for you and your particular situation.

CC Premiere Pro crashes on start up with "Not Responding"

CC Premiere Pro crashes on start up with "Not Responding".
Tried:
1. Reboot
2. Updating Graphics Drivers.
3. Removing Red Giant Plug-Ins from my current Adobe Common Folder.
4. Running in compatibility mode for Windows 7
5. Running as Admin
All Failed.
Got a film deadline in 24 hours, really need this fixed like 5 hours ago. Any help would be amazing.

This has been happening to me too and I have a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits with 8 GB RAM and Intel i5 dual-core @ 2.3GHz.
I think from all previous messages this happens regardless of the system running underneath - maybe just on Windows systems.
I thought it was about cache so I bumped my cache to its maximum and it still crashes. My cache folder is on an external HDD and space is not the issue.
I had my don't-process-files-larger-than 4096 MB because I thought it was about the amount of data it can process per file. I just changed it to 1024 and so far it has been working fine (no crashes). I invite you to try this:
Preferences » Thumbnails » Do Not Process Files Larger Than 1024 MB.
Maybe my assumptions were the other way around, may the approach of "I don't care about files larger than" 1 GB is better than to consume all.
Nevertheless, I hope Adobe has time to test this and come up with an answer.

Motion 1.1 crashes on start-up with my new mac pro

I just upgraded to the a Mac pro 3GHz Quad-Core and now my Motion (v1.1) crashes right after start-up. To be more specific it crashed right after the "welcome to motion" menu pops up. I tried a re-install, taking out the preferences, and receipts. but still no luck. Does Motion 1.1 even work with my new Mac???

Correct! Motion v.2, in its initial edition was earlier to Intel processor Mac. There was a programme for all those that had these versions to upgrade to v. 2.1 that is capable to run on Intel processors called "crossgrade" but it has expired. I think only the present version -3 included in FCS2- is available for sale. Evenmore versions prior to 2.1 can't work under Rosetta, so the only option is this...

Itunes crashes when syncing Ipad with mp4 movies in photo folder for keynotes

I'm trying to upload a small MP4 video onto my Ipad to use in Keynotes. I place the video in the photo folder and select sync, then tunes crashes.
I had created the video in Corel Video Studio pro 3 and created MP4 file. Copied to the IPAD and had it all working. I then made changes to the video and reconverted and now Itunes crashes when syncing.

I had the same problem, and it turns out that the problem is having the same file into different folders. For example I had an MP4 in iTunes, and the same file in the photos folder that was being updated to the iPad. So I just removed one file and it syncs perfectly.

Alright, so I've tried everything.
I've uninstalled and re-installed, even using the Adobe Cleaner
I've tried placing the SSInfo file in the correct folder
My Wacom drivers are fully updated
I've ran as administrator
I've deleted the preference folders
This is the same problem I'm having with inDesign as well. Now, the programs only work when my computer is offline or I'm on another user account. And yes, my user account is an administrator account.
I really want this to work on my user account. I'm using a home system and my OS is Windows 8.1.
Can somebody please help me out?

Photoshop CS5 keeps crashing on start up

Running Windows 7 64 bit, has been fine up until a few days ago after I had a virus. I have uninstalled, used the photoshop clean up tool and reinstalled, still the same problem. CS4 is working fine but I can't get CS5 to work, it crashes on start up with the following details.

Quicktime pro crashes with some mp4 in Lion Os X 7.2

Hallo!
I have upgraded to Lion OS X 7.2 and my Quicktime pro crashes when I try to open files mp4 with MPEG-4 HE AAC V2 audio codec. It used to work fine in Snow Leopard. I removed and installed again, tried to remove Mpeg 2 codec, installed 3ivx, but still the same problem so I removed it again.
I removed everything and installed again but still the same problem with these files.
Anybody has got such problem?
Any possible solution (apart open them in QT 10 and export in mov)?

I have 4 issues with Premiere CC. At work we have a school license of some sort, what I know we got a special design one from the sales team (I might be wrong).
The problems we have runned into are:
1. We students try to open a project they been working on a error screen popps up and says something like "No preview codec could be associated with this sequence...."
I think this happens when students have merged audio and video toghether.
2. I got some help from the tech support and they made some changes in the libiry in one of the editing rooms computers and reinstalled premiere Pro CC.
It seemed as everything was working until I opened premiere CC the day after, and it asks me for a serial key. I tried putting in the serials we got and non of them worked.
I also tried logging on to the account we have and it still asks me for the serials. And when I try starting in in trail mode I can't playback anything.
3. In another editing room Premiere was crashing on start up, so I was told by the tech support to uninstall all adobe softwares and update my mac OsX and then reinstall the softwares needed. It worked but if i save projects and try to open them up Premiere CC craches.
4. On computers using black magic deck link I can't get audio out from premiere pro.
I would really appreicate if I could get some more support.

So the sound issue is solved, so for other users with the same problem I will write down my way of making it work.
I read some time ago that someone made it work by starting AE and in AE more choices were avalible in the audio prefrences, but this didn't work for me but it might for some, thats why I write it here.
I took this a step futher and I opened up Audition CC, and in Audition CC the sound worked just fine and it was automatically set to black magic.
After I had open Audition CC I was then able to select Premiere Pro 7.0 as the sound output in the Apple system settings sound prefrences.
Then the sound worked fine in AE and PP. Should also note that when I did it as said in the manual I didn't get it to work.
The preview preset issue is some what solved, I reinstalled premiere and upgrade my OSX as written above. First time I installed Creative Cloud I did it from a build from a hardrive I think that some how made it so creative cloud could not reach premiere correctly???
Although I still have the problem with serial numbers sometimes and I have to be logged on wich is don't work if i try to log on with the account on two or more computers.. Even thou we have a school license, so I still appreciate all help I can get with this.
I will also add that I heard that strange things can happen if users install apples latest ProApp QuickTime Codec 1.0.4 so watch out for that one at the moment, I sure adobe will fix this soon as well

Well, my two-month-old MBP has no qualms about booting from a no-name external USB HD I put together...
Given that is is a common point of failure, I would imagine a large Apple Store should keep a stock of HD's on hand.
Now since you're a bit desperate and the genie pops up til Saturday and you seem to be the enterprising kind, let's try an experiment: if you have room enough in the external HD and assuming it isn't a Time Machine volume, why don't you plug it in, stick the Install CD and see if the installer lets you select the external drive as the install target. If you can install Leopard on it, on top of the backup without reformatting, and the Mac can boot from the drive afterwards, at least you would have some functionality restored and would be able to pull your stuff from the internal HD. Apple says booting from USB drives is not supported but that does not equate to not possible; some brands do work. Risks? Always. You can always lose your backup. Like I said, a challenge for an enterprising gal....
Next time around, consider having a bootable external clone at hand for rainy days. I keep three myself...
P.S. Since I'll be in the Dallas-FW area in late June, I can volunteer with the confetti....
