Quota arrangement in R/3 for APO generated planned order materials?

Quota arrangement for the planned order materials generated from APO and when
it is at the inbound side of R/3 while in CIF i.e.
u2022 Once the Planned order is created in APO and when it is at the inbound side of R/3 while in CIF u2013 the system will first check in the table(EQUK) against the material and plant whether there is any valid u201CQuota arrangement numberu201D(EQUK-QUNUM) .
u2022 Then from the table (EQUIP) against the u201CQuota arrangement numberu201D the system needs to calculate the percentage quota(from QUOTE field) of the material concerned against each production version.
u2022 Finally the Planned order of the material needs to be converted into more than one Planned orders as per the production versions and in the ratio as mentioned in the quota arrangement.
Actually Functionality exists today in R/3 whereby MRP will generate more than 1 planned order if production version quota arrangements exist. For example if via MEQ1 a quota arrangement exists to split requirements 60-40 between production version 1 and production version 2 then MRP will generate 2 planned orders using the 60-40 split.
Does this still occur if APO generates the order materials and CIFs it to R/3?
*I mean I had a requirement where APO generated planned orders to be split automatically and the correct PVs(Production version EQUP-VERID) to be assigned if quotas(EQUP-QUOTE) exist in R/3 side??*
please help me asap this will b really appreciated and high points will be given....

  • How to block changes in system generated Plan orders

    Hi,
As after MRP RUN we get Planned order generated by the system,  with type LP  , I have a requirement that system generated plan order quanity cannot be cnhage by the user if plan order is generated for quanity 85  user should not make it 100 no quality chnages,  also the manual plan order type LP cannot be create manully it should be creat by system only,  and for manul other type of plan order type should be use,
    How to do this.
    regards,
    zafar

    Hi
Firming can be used when you don't want certain planned orders to change during subsequent MRP runs.
Say today you have created certain palnned orders.
In a normal scenario, when you do the MRP run again, the planned order may get changed if the requirements have changed.
However as a normal business practice, it is not desired to change the production plans everytime there is a change in the requirement...especially in the immediate future (maybe a week or so).
We set this as the planning time fence depending on the MRP type settimg in the material master, you may have firm orders.
MRP will also generate firm planned orders for materials with MRP type P1 to P4.
In addition to the above, any planned order that is manually changed is also firmed.
    Hope this may help

  • SNP Heuristics to generate planned orders

    Hi all,
I have the demand in months for five years & once demand came in i take Heuristics to generate the Planned orders.I have a specific requirement for a specific location  Heuristic that SNP Heuristic should generate planned orders only in month of January to March for all the five years.
I am using SNP PDS .The PDS do not contain resource.
Can you suggest a good solution for the above?.
    thanks

    Hello,
    1) SNP PDS Does not contain resource?
SNP pds contains resourse in line with PPM. Please check the Resource definition. It may not be of "Mixed type" hence SNP pds is genertaed w/o resourse.
Plz modify the resource definition & generate PDS afresh.
    2) Order creation for limited period?
You can control this by using Factory calender assigned to resource or putting doen time for the period for which you want to restrict order generation. Hence Orders will be generated for the period for which resource is workin

  • After MD81- what will happen to already generated planned Order

    Dear Experts,
I have few doubts, please check the details below.
1.After MD81 for Finished Material, what will happen to already generated planned Order.
    2. For Standard finished material, can MTS material  planned order be clubbed and generate one planned order.?
3.For standard Finished material, can MTO materials, planned order be clubbed and generate one planned order.

    Hi,
    MTO -
The materials are uniquely assigned to specific sales orders.
    MTS -
The materials are not assigned to specific sales orders.
You can manufacture material and keep in stock without any customer requirement.
Basically for MTS you need to use Strategy 10 and for MTO you need to use strategy 20 in material master.

  • Set new Required Field for MD14 and MD15 for conver from Planned order to P

    Dear all,
I would like to set new required field (Purchasing Organization)  in T-CODE MD14 and MD15 for convert from Planned Order to PR. What's should I do?
Please help, I 'm new for MRP.
    Best Regards,
    Kate

    Hi Kate,
You are not on the right track; MD14 and 15 will choose the PLANNED ORDER population for the conversion. In planned orders there's NO PURCHASING ORGANIZATION DATA (normally)!
So even if you managed to put the field on the screen, it will not do anything that makes sense.

  • Order type for conversion of planned order

    Hi gurus,
I have configured 6 different order types for PPPI and not maintained any default order type for conversion of planned order into process order. But when I am trying to convert planned order into process order by branching out from MD04 to COR7 via the popup window, default order type PI01 gets selected which  cannot be changed. However, if I am converting the planned order into process order directly through COR7, then choice of order type is available.
Could you please tell me how to ensure choice of order type while branching from MD04 to COR7?
    Regards,
    Abhik

    Hi Datta
The order type is selected as below
First it will look for any scheduling profile is maintained. If so it will select default from the profile.
Next if the profile is not there it will look for any scheduler is assigned in material master. Through the scheduler it will select the profile and default order order type.
Next it will look in plant parameter. With conversion from plan order to prod order  order type
Next it will look in MRP group conversion order type,  if you have mainted it in Material master.
This is the sequence. Please check have to maintained any of these.
    Hope this is clear

  • Program PPBICO40 for conversion of planned orders to production order

    Hi,
The program PPBICO40 is for conversion of planned orders to production orders in the background job.But while set up of variant it is asking me for peson who created error folder and recipient.I want to know the significance of these two fields and how these are useful.
Please throw some light on this.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ravi

    Dear,
PPBICO40 the non-convertible planned orders are put together in one batch input session and can be postprocessed with batch input tools. It is possible to create a separate error session for each MRP controller.
Error folder for each MRP controller: creates a separate error folder for each MRP controller.
Receive folder according to view: If the indicator is set, the error folder is not deleted after processing in batch input.
Creator of the error folder: User who is entered as creator in the error folder .
Send mail: Sends a mail to the respective MRP controllers during the creation of a batch input session. If the indicator 'Error folder per MRP controller' is not set, the mail is sent to 'Recipient (alternative)'.
Express document: sends mail as an express document.
Recipient (alternative): Recipient of the mail, if no recipient is specified in the material requirements planning master record of the MRP controller responsible .
    Hope clear to you.

  • How to setup a release strategy for store generated purchase order

    Hi there,
Does anybody know how to setup a release strategy for store/plant generated purchase order? I have a request from our client, but I never cross this before. Please help and let me know the step with every single detail.
    Greatly thank for your help.
    Kind Regards,
    2tea

Please go thru the below Release Procedure and check whether you have maintained all the settings properly.
    PO RELEASE STRATEGY
The release code is a two-character ID allowing a person to release (clear, or approve) a requisition or an external purchasing document. The release codes is basically controlled via a system of authorizations (authorization object M_EINK_FRG).
Use SE12, structure CEKKO to check all the fields available for controlling the Purchase Order.
e.g. If the total value for the Purchase Order exceeds 10,000, release strategy 01 is assigned to the Purchase Order. There is only one characteristic created in this example. For controlling the Purchase Order type, create characteristic for CEKKO-BSTYP and the value NB.
    CT04 - Create Characteristic e.g. NETVALUE
Click Additional data Table name CEKKO Field name GNETW and press enter
(for currency dependent field, you are prompt to enter the currency which the system then converts the currency of the Purchasing document into this currency)
In the Basic data (X refers to tick),
    X Mutliple values
    X Interval values
In the Value data, in the Char. value column, type >10000 and press enter
    Save your data
    CL02 - Class
    Class - Create REL_PUR
    Class type - 032
    Click Create
Description - Release Procedure for Purchase Order
In the Same Classification section, click Check with error
In the Char. (characteristic) tab, type NETVALUE to assign your characteristics to the class
OMGS - Define Release Procedure for Purchase Order Type
    Release Group - New entries
    Rel.group Rel. Object Class Description
02 REL_PUR Rel. Strategy for PO
    Release codes - New entries

    Release indicators
    Release indicators Release Description
    0 Blocked

    Release status 01
    Classification Choose your check values
    OMGSCK - Check Release Strategies
(make sure there are no error messages)
Once the Purchase Order is not release, buyers will not be able to print the Purchase Order.
Goods Receipts will be shown with Message no. ME 390 - Purchasing document XXXXXXX not yet released.
In 4.6c, Purchase Order with Release Strategy have a tabs at the end of the Header. This allowed the buyers to check the release status of the Purchase Order.
The person with the release authorization have to use ME28 to release the Purchase Order.

  • What is the best practice for APO - Demand planning implementation

    Hi,
M client wants to implement demand planning.
Cient has come up with one scenario like a New Customer is created in ECC, and if I use BI and then APO flow for Demand planning, user will have to wait for another day. (AS BI is always having one day delay).
For this scenarios user is insisting on ECC and APO-DP interface.
Will anybody suggest what should be the best practice for Demand planning.
ECC -> Standalone BI -> Planning area (Planning is done in APO) -> Stand alone BI
Or ECC -> APO-DP (Planning is done in APO) -> Standalone BI system
I hope I am able to explain my scenario.
    Regards,
    Saurabh

    Any suggestions !!

  • Pur req not generated for MRP element Planned order in stock reqmnts list

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I have a problem where in MD04, pur req is not generated for the MRP element Planned order for a future date (about two months from now). Is there a specific reason? why is it not being generated? The MRP type is PD. The procurement type is F - external procurement. Can anybody please help me on this?
    Thanks
    Anusha

    Anusha,
??  Not sure I understand the question.  Are you saying MRP is creating planned orders instead of  purchase reqs?  Or, are you saying that no proposals at all are being created outside of two months?  Or, are you saying that the system is creating purchase reqs inside of two months, and planned orders outside of two months?
Regardless, these problems are probably related to your MRP settings.  Try the following settings:
    NEUPL   Regenerative planning
    1       Purchase requisitions
    3       Schedule lines
    1       MRP list
3       Delete and recreate planning data
2       Lead time scheduling and capacity planning
    on your MDBT screen.

    Hi Rahul,
You can change the PPM for an order.
    Follow the below given steps.
    1. Go to transaction /sapapo/rrp2
2.Enter the logical system, APO order no. and planning version.
    3.Click on change button
4.In the following screen, click again on change button which is provided to change source of supply.
    5. In the pop up choose the newly created PPM and click on adopt.

  • To generate planned orders throught MRP even without forecast/sales orders

Goor morning, we should send long term plan forecast to the suppliers, but in the system we're able to see just few weeks demand (lng term horizon is not still implemented). Do you think is possible to generate some planned order as MTS policy (based on the past consumption), even without any sales order or forecast inside the system? Tks in advance

    1) create a Plan IN MD61 with inactive version select the period as you want & enter  W- week in initial screen
    2) create a plan In MS31 and assign the created in active version plan in MS32 assign the plant and activate  independent requirement
    3) Run MRP in MS01, system will create a plan order for LTP
    4) and do the evaluation for created plan order in MS38.

  • Planned Order for stock and planned order for customer requirement

    Hello everybody
I want to make a different, in MD04,   between the planned order for stock and the planned order created for a customer requirement
    Thank for your help

    Hi,
True planned order are generated for both the cases but the planned order generated for sales order will have sales order number in the below column and for stock will show independent requirement. Mainly no sales order reference will be there for make to stock scenario.
    Hope it will help.

  • PPDS Heuristics generated planned order

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to control the result of the PPDS heuristics, I want the planned orders generated by the heuristics falls on a specific day for its start date eg. Monday. My heuristic strategy is Infinite scheduling and time continuous capacity; also my lot size setting is weekly buckets and heuristic is Planning of Standard Lots.
Is there a setting that will help me control the start date of planned orders result of PPDS heuristics?
    Appreciate your inputs
    thanks

Since you are using Period Lot-Size, you can maintain a Planning Calendar in the Product Master (Lot-Size tab, Procedure subtab) and set the indicator "Use Period Factor" (also in Lot-Size tab, but in Quantity and Date Determination subtab).
The planning calendar will, then, be used to propose the availability date of the newly created orders. The dates can still be changed because the capacity of the resources still has to be taken into account when the orders are scheduled, though.
