Re: query not appering in other user id

hi experts,
i have a problem i create a query for actual values by period by using quick viewer sqvi but the report can be see only by my userid so i am scad if i create the sqvi in production server that my userid only can see the others cannot.
so if anybody face the same problem give me your inputs.

Step 1 : Create User Group u2013 SQ03
Follow the menu path u2013 SAP Menu -> Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Utilities -> SAP Query -> User Groups
a) In the User Group : Initial Screen - 
- Enter User Group Code (self named)
- Click on u201CCreateu201D
b) In the User Group (Code) : Create or Change pop-up window -
- Enter the User Group Description 
- Click on u201CSaveu201D
c) In the Create Object Directory Entry pop-up window - 
- Click on u201CLocal Objectu201D button
- The User Group Created is Saved .
Step 2 : Create User Group u2013 SQ02
Follow the menu path u2013 SAP Menu > Tools > ABAP Workbench > Utilities > SAP Query > Infosets
a) In the Infoset : Initial screen -
- Enter Infoset Code (self named)
- Click on u201CCreateu201D button 
b) In the Infoset : Title & Database Screen - 
- Enter Description of Infoset in the u201CNameu201D field
- In the Data Source selection : Select appropriate Data Source by clicking the radio button
Source the data can either be multiple tables OR single table. There are 4 options for the user to select from
- Click on u201CContinueu201D (Enter)
- Selected Table gets displayed in the Infoset : Initial Screen
c) In the Infoset : Initial Screen - 
- Click on u201CInsert Tableu201D button
d) In the Add Table Screen - 
- Enter the Table Name that is to be inserted
- Click u201CContinueu201D (Enter)
e) In the Infoset: Initial Screen - 
- Click on u201CBacku201D button
f) In the Field Group Defaults pop-up Screen - 
- Select Appropriate Field Group Option by clicking on the radio button
There are 3 options to select from. User can select Empty Field Group option and then select the data fields in the steps explained further.  Alternatively, User can select an option which clubs all the data fields from all the tables selected.
- Click u201CContinueu201D (Enter)
g) In the Change Infoset Screen - 
The left side lists the Tables that the user has selected in step b, c & d
- In the right side, system creates field groups, one for each table listed in the left part. Initially, the Field Groups are empty.
- In the Left Side, Click on the arror next to the table name and expand and display all the data fields in the table.
- Select a Data Field from the expanded Table view, which is to be added to the Field Group on the right.
- Select a Field Group on the right side, in which Data Field selected above has to be added.
- Right click on the Data Field selected and click on u201CAdd Field to Field Groupu201D.
- The selected Data Field gets added to the selected Field Group, which is indicated by an arrow next to the Field Group.
- Carry out the steps above to add the required Data Fields to the respective Field Groups
- After transferring Data Fields to Field Groups click on u201CGenerateu201D button
h) In the Create Object Directory Entry Screen - 
- Click on u201CLogical Objectu201D button to generate the infoset
i) In the Change Infoset Screen - 
- Click on the u201CBacku201D button
j) User is taken back to the u201CInfoset: Initial Screenu201D which displays the created Infoset record.
Step 3 : Assigning User Group to Infoset u2013 SQ03
Follow the menu path u2013 SAP Menu -> Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Utilities -> SAP Query -> User Groups
a) In the User Groups : Initial screen - 
- Enter the User Group for which Infoset is to be assigned
- Click on u201CAssign Users & Infosetsu201D button
b) In the User Group: Assign Users Screen -
- Click on u201CAssign Infosetsu201D button
c) In the next screen, select the Infoset, which needs to be attached to the User Group selected
d) Click on the u201CBacku201D button

  • Initiator Task not visible to other users in the Group

    JDeveloper 11.1.1.6, WLS 10.3.6, BPM 11.1.1.6
    I have a Process and the swimlane containing the Initiator Task is assigned to a Group.
    All the users in the group are able to Initiate the Task.
    But when the Task is initiated, the Task is assigned to the User specifically, but not to the Group. I guess this is the default behavior.
    The Human Task Assignee - defaultPerformer for the Initiator Task is uneditable in the initiator.task file.
    What I was expecting is that, since the Initiator swimlane is assigned to the Group, All the users in the Group should be able to see the Tasks initiated by anyone in the Group.
    I want this behavior in the Initiator type of tasks specifically. (The normal Tasks other than Initiator tasks are working as expected.)
    The reason why we want this is, let us say after the task is created, and before it is submitted, there is a lot of work to be done, for example, data entry, should be done by many people in the Group.
    If all the users in the Group are able to see the Initiator Task, then it will help to share the responsibility of data entry among the users of the group.
    I tried Reassigning the task to Group, and it works, but we am looking for something automatically assigning to the Group when the Process is created. (We may not be using the Oracle BPM Workspace at all).
    Can anyone please tell us if there is a way to make the Initiator Task automatically assigned to the Group instead of just the user?

    Thanks for replying.
    I did the same and it was working for me even if the Type is Single.
    I just gave the Group name and all users were able to see the task. This is fine with me.
    I just observed one more thing.
    When the task is created, all the users in the Group are able to see it in 'Me & My Group'.
    But the data entered by the creator is not seen by other users.
    There is an action 'Save' in the Task. If the creator clicked on it, then the task is automatically 'Acquired' by the creator.
    Other users in the group are able to see the task and the saved data, but are not able to Submit.
    What I expected the Save button to do is only to Save the data in the Payload. Not Claim it.
    Is there a way to make the payload data only to save but not to claim the task?

    I am not a developer, so pardon me if I misunderstood this question. I thought screens and other repository objects are client independent. That means the change should be evident in all clients without a need to transport.
    Is this to do with security by any chance ( though it seems unlikely )? Can the other users see the change in the original client in which the request was made? That should help you determine whether the problem lies with the transport or outside. Also you can check the contents of the transport in SE01 and see if it holds the kind of data that you are expecting it to. I am guessing you have already generated the screen after saving the changes.

    I have just upgraded 11.5.10 to 12.1.3. I have followed doc ID 804296.1 so users can see out files within the same responsibility. But users still cannot see out files from other users. I really believe I have followed the doc completely. Any advice?

    Hi,
    you could have a view criteria added to the view object that filters the data by the value of a claim field to be the username or null. This however would only filter the information when a user performs a query. However in your post you don't mention how immediate the claim should display for other users

  • JRE 1.5 plugin for Firefox on Linux works as root but not as an other user

    I am trying to usel the JRE plugin for Firefox on Fedora Core 4. I downloaded and installed it as "root" and created the symbolic link so Firefox can "see" it. It now works just fine if I run Firefox as "root", but if I run it as any other user, it thinks that the plugin is not installed.
    I checked to make sure that the path to the symbolic link is accessible by anyone (all directories in the path are x to "other" and the link and the .so file are both rx for "other").
    What else do I need to do so non-root users can use this plugin?

    remove $HOME/.mozilla/plugins and $HOME/.java and try again

  • Data Uploads done with one User Id not visible to other users in SPM

    Hi,
    Data uploads were successfully carried out by one of the SPM users. However, other users (with different user id) are not able to see anything in the Data Upload Summary screen.
    Is there a restriction on the visibility of Data Upload Summary for data uploads carried out with one User id to other users in SPM? A similar behaviour is observed for other screens within the Data upload workbench.
    Incase this is not the expected behaviour, it would be great if you could please provide pointers to possible reasons for this.
    Just for your information, all users have been granted same privileges in the SPM application.

    No this is not the expected behavior. We have seen this issue for other customers in the past but the reason has always turned out to be role related.
    Can you ensure that the required SPM roles are assigned to the user who do not see the DM data both in ABAP as well as portal.

  • CM Repository manager is not appearing for other users

    Hi Friends,
      I have configured CM repository manager with the user having super admin role.
    After configuring it am able to see the KM content folder in the Content Administration->KM Content only with the user from where i have configured it. But if i login with the other non-super users the KM content folder is not appearing.
    when i open the permissions of the KM content folder through the details of the context menu am getting as below.
    child permissions
    read permissions
    write permissions
    parent permissions etc
    where all above are in display mode. So with this i cannt give read or write permission to any other user.
    Could anyone please help me out to make it visible to all users.
    I have activated all repository services while creating CM repository manager.
    Is there any other permissions to be set to make KM folder visible to all users or do i need to any other repository service?

  • SubArea not visible for other users in ESS

    Hi All,
    I have created a new subarea (having few services) and assigned it to a Benefits and payments Area.
    Now the issue is its only displaying to Administrator Role not for other users.
    if iam giving SAP_ALL  to other user then we are able to see this.

    to the role assigned to the user, you need to select end user visible in the role.

  • Public Foler Calendar Categories not Visible to Other User

    My company uses calendars within the public folders for staff to be able to check their schedule.
    When I add an event to one of those calendars, and change the category colour, I can see it, but none of the other users accessing the calendars can see them. It shows any text changes I've made, but no category. If those users open up the event, the category
    name is even showing as selected, but the colour doesn't actually show up.
    Any ideas?

    There is no feature in Exchange server to manage calendar view in Outlook. Based on my research, it seems a known issue that Outlook does not recognize or coexist with color category in the public calendar folders since Outlook 2007.
    If you want to see the same colored categories on all of your computers, you must create the same categories and colors on every computer. The following article is about share color categories for Outlook 2010:

  • Shared Tasks not visible to other User

    Hello,
    I am facing a problem that I have shared Tasks of User-A to User-B. But when I open shared Task at User-B MS Outlook it opens but no tasks of User-A are visbile.
    For Testing
    I Shared User-A shared tasks for myself with same permissions & are visible to me.
    I Shared my Tasks for User-B & are visible to User-B.
    I Shared User-B Tasks & are also visible to me.
    I Created new Outlook profile for User-B, Upgraded Office Version from 2007-2010, Created new Windows login Profile, login him on some other PC but still User-B is unable to View User-A shared tasks.
    I login User-B on OWA (Webmail) still User-B is unable to View User-A shared Tasks.
    I have checked for User Mailbox permissions but found nothing.
    Please help me to resolve this issue.

    If User-A shared a calendar folder to User-B, could User-B open the shared calendar in his Outlook? or are those calendar items visiable in that time? 
    If yes, please separately get the
    Get-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity
    [email protected]:\Calendar
    & Get-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity
    [email protected]:\Task
    And then compare their permission to find the difference entry.
    Or you may directly check the User-B's permission under User-A's folder:
    Get-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity
    [email protected]:\Task -User [email protected]
    This might not the problem on User Mailbox permissions level but Mailbox folder permissions level. Thanks.

    The message basically states that IE cannot load your stylesheet specified in the XML file.
    To fix this issue always use the TestStand tools menu item - "Package XML/HTML Files for Distribution" to 'pack' your XML reports before you try to use it in another computer.

  • Firefox will not open for other users on a shared computer with individual accounts one day after installing Firefox

    On a computer that is shared with multiple users(3),two of the users cannot open Firefox,only one user can. It shows the blue circle (Windows 7) but it disappears and does not open. Task Manager shows its running,but after closing,it won't open. Are there settings to adjust in Windows,or on Internet Options?
