Re: using fuzzy logic

You can use a STring similarity algorthm that will guage how close one String is to another. One such algorithm is the Levenshtein distance algorithm but it tends to work best with long Strings. I'm sure there are others out there if you look i.e. try Google.

  • MSI 6309 V2.0 Overclock using Fuzzy Logic 4

Hi Folks, I am new here and new to MSI MOBOs.  I have got a MSI 6309 V2.0 Mobo with a PIII 800 CPU.  I want to overclock this using Fuzzy Logic 4. When I try doing this I get lots of message boxs with 'privileged instruction'. ;( Can someone tell me if this MOBO is supported by FL4 ?( and secondly if this MOBO is the same as MSI 6309 'LITE' ?(
    Thanks in advance

The ratio can't be changed while operating.
The ratio the board booted with will be kept.

  • Pc restarts using fuzzy logic 4

I don't know why, but my pc restarts now when I use the fuzzy logic software. The only thing I change now is I downloaded the new NVDIA 45. driver and add a hard disk at the IDE3. Does anyone know why?
ANyone know where to find the NVDIA 44. driver? Its better. I use the new version in FIFA and the players shirts seem to have holes at the collar. I can see their necks. And the graphic is not that all good.

  • Is to possible to control a motor by using fuzzy logic toolbox in Labview and motor interfaced with PIC microcontroller

    sir
I am doing a  PG project on fuzy logic control of robotic arm,In this first i need to write a code in LABVIEW fuzzy toolbox and interface that that code with PIC where motor is connected and a tachogenerator should be connected to motor to send speed to LABVIEW through PIC microcontroller where ADC is inbuilt in it.
Please help sir me whether  it is possible to do that ,if not tell me do i require any interfacing device  ,I am very new to labview

Now for this problem, Fuzzy can be easily used to control the plant. Here is the softwares that would help in this task:
    - LabVIEW Full Development System (FDS) 2009 or later - The is the LV version that allow you accessing the latest Fuzzy Logic develoment
    - LabVIEW PID and Fuzzy Logic Toolkit 2009 - This has PID and Fuzzy Logic functions available for you to develop your controller
    - LabVIEW Control Design and Simulation Module 2009 - This is a complete set of functions that allow you to simulate and develop advanced control applications. In your case, you probably will be using this module for simulation of the DC motor.
Now, you also will need a way to read the encoder and control the voltage applied to the motor. You have several options from NI for that process. Probably a multi-function Board could help since they have digital counters and Analog Output signals. However, I can't recommend what would be best for this application, but the ideal platform is the CompactRIO platform for your application. They have a Real-Time controller and integrated Input/Output modules with signal conditioning that could allow you to directly drive the DC motor. I would advice to go to our webside (http://www.ni.com/compactrio/) and verify what this platform does. For this platform, you will also need the following sofrware:
    - LabVIEW Real-Time Module 2009 - Allow you to develop you application in Real-Time for deployment.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi Sankhadip,
Sorry for the late response. I was looking at your code and
I noticed that the graph scale does not start from zero. That might be the
reason why you don't see the transient in the simulation. To change the scales
simply double click on the lower limit and set it to zero. If this is not the
expected results, can you please post the expected results, so we can see what are the
differences between the results . Also, you might be using different
solvers, and that gives different results as well.
Thanks and have a great day.

  • Using fuzzy logic over clocking

Last time I used it It was ok-I gained a 400mhz boost. Now when the application is testing settings, my pc restarts by itself. Know why?

Was the setups and the settings the same the last time round and this time round when you o/c?

  • PC hang when using fuzzy logic to OC

For some time now, the pc seems to hang whenever I want to OC. I can only think of the GF2ti card as the culprit, not wure what else it could be. I think Nidia new drivers do not permit OC easily. Anyone can pinpoint the problem & help me.
I use to get from 2.8>3.0 easily without any problems. the software will stop when reaching favourable figures, but now the software does not stop running, testing speeds. the speed does not increase, just stay constant at aroun 3.0ghz. When I stop the software, the whole pc stops. Help. thanks.

not sure. Anyone knows about this board. I think its not that powerful. The AGP, PCI is locked.

  • Is fuzzy logic vi good for discrete system

If modeling a system using PID is too hard or too difficult, I want to use fuzzy logic, but according to the NI control manual, fuzzy logic is good for a continuous system.
Can it be used on a discrete system? for example, turn on a heater for 2 second and shut off, wait for 10 minutes, and then meausre again and go through fuzzy logic?
    Can my idea be fulfilled?
    Thanks

To work with fuzzy logic does not require any transfer function as it is a fully descriptive, the disadvantage is that you have to know very well the operation of the plant and has something to do with trial and error, but when setting the rules correctly, your system is completely stable.

  • Fuzzy Logic 4 help!

How do I use Fuzzy Logic 4??
I can install it, I can run it but I am buggered if I can actually change anything, all I can do is look at temp, voltage, multiplier, fsb speed and CPU speed.
I thought this tool was to enable you to manipulate the CPU speed??
I have a K7N2-L mobo 2100XP (TB 'b') CPU and using win XP home.

How do I use Fuzzy Logic 4??, you ask...
The short answer is: you can't. It doesn't work with the nForce2, as MSI makes clear.

  • Programming fuzzy logic controller design

    Hi,
please i am using fuzzy logic controller design. Inputs and outputs data are connected to an OPC server.
My question is: could i access programmatically (in the vi ) to the fuzzy logic controller design to prevent to enter in it each time that i need to change values ?
    Samer,

    Hello all
The PID and Fuzzy Logic Toolkit 2009 was completely redesigned.
There are new API VIs and a more intuitive user interface for creating controllers.
You can create MIMO controllers with unlimited inputs and outputs, and also modify the controller on-the-fly.
Check it out the new features and let us know your needs on Fuzzy control.

  • Pwm by fuzzy logic

how to make pwm by fuzzy logic, can help me ? because i have project which relate this.....

In that case you can use fuzzy logic to calculate the heater setpoint - but that is a separate question from how you want to transfer that setpoint to the heater. What you are wanting to do has really three steps:
    Read the current temp
Calculate a new setpoint for the heater
Sending that new setpoint to the heater.
A temperature controller simply does those three things over and over again. Note that step 2 can be pretty tricky while steps 1 and 3 are generally pretty easy.
Do you need drivers for generating PWM using a digital output?

    The rails are as follows:
    +3.3v = 3.26v  (high=3.26  low=3.25)
    +5v = 5.11v  (high=5.11 low=5.08)

My Vcore = 1.44  (high=1.44  low=1.42)  This Vcore is way low compared to the 1.712 that icetea40r mentions his 645E Max U is running.  Is this my problem?  Do I just have my Vcore set way, way low?
The motherboard is running Windows 2000 (Version 5.0, Service Pack 4).  Fuzzy Logic 4 will not display Memory voltage or AGP Voltage.  It displays “N/A” for both.  It displays the CPU voltage correctly.
The memory is Seitec 256 MB PC2700 DDR 333 MHz CL 2.5 (which I purchased as installed “house memory” when I purchased the motherboard.  The AGP slot is occupied by an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro.  The CPU is a 2.53 GHz Pentium 4 Northwood.  I have never successfully used Fuzzy Logic to adjust the system status or overclock the system.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Fuzzy Logic but it still has the same problems.
