Read appendix in position

Hello!
In the PPOME you can create an appendix for the position objtyp=S.
Where is this appendix saved? How can I access the document?
I want to write a report where I read the appendix from position out.
Can anybody please help me?

Hi Anna
Please pardon my ignorance on the subject. Can you elaborate on your requirement please on whats this appendix all about.

  • Load program is read a wrong position

    Hi all,
I faced a problem as below:
         IDOC:  1000.00   1001000001
When i upload the data to PSA, the error is "1000.00 1001" is not number.
on the words, the program is read a wrong position and wrong value.
And on the anther client of source system, it's OK.
So it let me in trouble.
who can tell me how to solve it???
         Thanks advance!!

    HI Surendra  ,
       Thanks for you reply.
Because of failed load, So  i can't find any inbound message.
But i can make sure the problem is in BW system. And i test the case using RSA3, it's OK.
By the way, the system i used is 46C and BI7.0 IDES.

  • Reading Incumbent and Position data in SuccessionPlanning

    Hi All:
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced an issue with the SuccessionPlanning module where the organizational hierarchy can be viewed, and the position/holder names are displayed in the hierarchy view.  However, when clicking on the position/holder for more information, the view details pane that comes up is unable to display little to no information about the holder or the position.
So, for instance, if I were to click on the Position box for the Janitor position which was held by John Doe, the pane that opens up for more details the position and the incumbent lists his name as "n/a  n/a".
I likely have a broader issue, because my searches for all positions and all talents yield no results and the log file tells me the dataset brought back no results which just isn't possibe, but I'm a little stumped because I HAVE actually connected to SAP with my connection string and am able to retrieve some data.  For instance,  I can see that the position Janitor is connected to job Custodial Enginner, which reflects ECC.  However, if I go to change the job the position is tied to directly in Nakisa, I can't get any jobs to show up in the dropdown for jobs.
The ID I'm using in my connection string is able to retrieve all this data if I were to log directly into ECC.
Anyway, that's kind of a lot of info and I see most of the questions on here are about the OrgChart module, but since I'm a little stumped, I thought I'd give it a shot.  If anyone has come across this issue before, I welcome any feedback you can offer.  I'm using TVN 2.0 on ECC 6.0 ehp4.
    Thanks,
    Chris

    Chris,
I would strongly recommend installing Service Pack 1 (SP1) for SAP TVN 2.0 before you do anything more (especially if you haven't done any customisations yet).  There is some very significant fixes in there.
You will find this on service.sap.com/support then follow:
      SAP Support Packages ->
Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group ->
SAP Solution Extensions by Partners ->
SAP Talent Visualization by Nakisa -> .... sure you can follow the rest from there.
There is a zip file with code and a PDF install guide in.  Just follow the steps, it will take you 1-2 hrs I guess.
    Hope that helps.

  • How do you read the camera position in the 3d picture control?

    Hello,
There is a method to setup the camera position, but how do you read the current camera position?  e.g. the user uses the mouse, ctrl, and shift, to change the camera position.  How do you read this new camera position?  There don't seem to be any properties to do this.
    I've read this thread:
    http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=214629&requireLogin=False
but the question was never answered....
From the comments in that thread, even if you had the proper documentation for the "Model Matrix" property, you couldn't get the information necessary to calculation the camera position.

    Lorielle,
    Thanks for the VI.
Could you point me towards a more detailed description of the "Modelview Matrix" property?  I've attached a screenshot from the online help.  It is not very helpful.

  • Cannot default Adobe Reader 9 Screen position on Dual Monitor

We have recently upgrade to Adobe Reader 9.0 and I have 2 monitors on my machine. Can any one advise how can we set adobe reader open on a screen 2. instead of the primary screen. At the moment only open on Primary screen 1.
I look through the preference but cannot find any related setting can be applied. It was working fine on Adobe version 8.0
    Thanks

    A solution for "Video output"
When sending an FCP 5.1.1 HDV sequence to "Motion project", it sends it at 1440 x 1080 and Motion 2.1.1 will open a new project to that size. Once that FCP HDV sequence is opened in Motion 2.1.1 and "Full screen mode" is selected it will play to a full screen in 16 x 9 at 30 fps on the "Main Computer Monitor". In this case the main monitor is a LaCie Electron blue 19". Now if "External video" is selected that being a Sony PVM 1351Q the image will show as a 1440 x 1080 and play at only 5 fps. Furthermore it will create a letterbox on all four sides. (looks like a stretched vertical 4 x 3). Now if a new project is opened in Motion 2.1.1 in HD (1920 x1080) and the same HDV QT file is imported in Motion ; the same procedure repeated, the image will play at a proper size and the 16 x 9 aspect ratio on the secondary NTSC Monitor will be respected, mind you it will still play at only 5 fps.
    "SOLUTION"
By canceling the "Video output" on Motion, a full frame 16 x 9 image can be viewed on the "Main Monitor". By the way, that image is astonishing compared to what it was with the previous video card. Now by dragging the "Viewer image" above the timeline to the "Secondary Monitor (Sony)" and selecting the "Full Screen Mode" it will then give a proper full screen image with a 16 x 9 aspect ratio on the Sony PVM 1351Q at 30 fps. The image seen on the NTSC monitors when using FCP 5.1.1 in HDV has also improved to a great degree. It has improved to the point where the Radeon® 9800 Pro Mac® Edition 256MB AGP becomes an interesting solution for HDV editing in Final Cut Studio.
If somene has a better solution, I'm all ears! ... or all read!

  • PDF in AIR - read PDF scroll position?  No events.

I'd like to capture scroll events when viewing a PDF file, and I can't figure out how to do it (or if it can be done).
I have a pretty simple AIR application, where I'm trying to render PDF content in AIR.  This includes:
      <mx:HTML id="myHTML" height="600" width="{this.width-40}" location="http://www.google.com" />
        myHTML.addEventListener(Event.SCROLL, imageScrolled);
        myHTML.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, complete);
        myHTML.addEventListener(Event.HTML_RENDER, htmlRender);
        myHTML.addEventListener(Event.LOCATION_CHANGE, locationChange);
These events all trigger just fine when normal web pages are loaded.  As soon as a PDF URL is displayed, there are no events, when scrolling the PDF.
Has anyone found a workaround for receiving these events?  I suppose I could look into scripting within the PDF file (would this work?), but I was trying to handle generic PDF files.

But if you want to interact and control a PDF from AIR you can make it using JS.

Now, it's not showing it. Instead it's showing 5 small circles that doesn't indicate the position of the song/podcast nor the volume counter.
I can't seem to change this setting back.

  • Reading relative position on multiple axis

    Hi all,
I need to read the relative position on two axis via the encoders. I have open loop steppers with encoders. I can read the encoder position on one axis easy enough be we need to read the encoder position of two axis simultaniously. I have looked at high speed capture but this only supports one axis. We have the top end motion card 7358. Taking two reads of the encoders a different times is not good enough for our application - any ideas? I guess I could write a DSP program, if this is the answer does anyone know of any examples? I was hoping there would be an easier way to solve this challenge.
    TIA

    Dear Martin.D
To effectively measure and monitor the position of the encoders, use the DAQmx functions. And use a digital trigger with the source as the encoder channel that starts recording data as soon as the encoder is initialised. Look at the Cont Acq & chart samples Int-Clk-Dig Start VI in the examples or from NI.com examples and use this for your two lines. Set the sample clock for both lines as the same so that both are synchronised. The VI is an adaptation on the example using the two lines. Set your relevant sources and what outputs you desire. Please let me know how you get on with this.
Xiaofengliu, your -70006 error code typically corresponds to an error on the axis input. If you receive this error code when using a Load DAC function, it is
most likely due to an improper 'DAC' input. This error is common when
using the flex_load_dac function in a text based programming language.
The DAC input requires a resource identifier for the DAC to be used.
This identifier is not just a simple number, but rather a hex id number
unique to each axis. The resource IDs for DAC outputs are listed below.
Please see the link I have attached below to guide you through and resolve your error:

  • Logical expression( = , =, , ) in read statement

    Hi All,
Is it possible to use the logical expressions like (<= , >=, <, >) in the read statement?

While you can only use "=" with the READ statement, you can use the READ statement to position the cursor at the first record you want and then use the LOOP with your operators to get only those records you want (assuming standard tables that have been correctly sorted). This can be very efficient.
There have been many discussion about this in the forums. Please search and you'll see them.

  • ***Resubmitted for further review*** How can I do position maintenance using a digital input to capture an encoder count and adjust the move profile on the fly.

I have a rotary table (45:1 ratio) being driven by a stepper motor with an encoder attached to the motor. I am using a 7344 motion controller. I want to be able to do position maintenance on the move. The problem is that I am always moving in the same direction and the table has mechanical error. I have a home input on the table, which I have wired to the trigger input for the corrosponding axis. My thoughts were to capture the position when the table goes by the home input and compare it with the previous time and make the adjustment in the next move. I am just not sure what the best way to do this
    is.

    Hello,
So when you say that the table has mechanical error you mean that the number of steps per table revolution will vary from revolution to revolution? I apologize that I misunderstood this initially. What you could do is use high speed capture to read the position of the stepper every time the home switch (or some other mechanical switch) is hit for each revolution of travel. Then when the high speed capture lined is toggled you can read the current position and modify your next move accordingly. To get details about High Speed Capture please search for High Speed Capture from our Developers Zone at: zone.ni.com
There are examples programs on our website and examples available with the FlexMotion driver.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Hello,
Your best option will be to use an encoder for feedback in your system. If you use an encoder then at the end of the move, the controller will compare your trajectory position with the position the encoder reads (the actual position) and make the necessary adjustments. Also, this is all handled transparently so you won't have to worry about any complicated programming issues.

  • Get Position from 9512 Encoder in FPGA

    Hello,
I am using the following Software/Hardware:
LV2010 with SoftMotion, Realtime, and FPGA modules
cRIO-9073 with NI 9512 Stepper Card and associated NI Drive
Misc Input and Output cards for digital signals
My application is essentially a conveyor capable of running up to 12.5 inches/sec with product spaced at approx 1.25" intervals.  I need to locate the parts on the conveyor using a trigger photoeye and then initiate different actions at different points of the conveyor as the product traverses down the conveyor.  The spacing between parts is variable.
This is my first RT/FPGA application but I have underwent the NI Training.  I was originally planning on using the RT controller in scan mode, but my initial testing shows this may not be fast enough.  I have written code to perform the following:
    1. Activate Conveyor
Using Softmotion Function Blocks the RT controller starts the stepper motor and hence runs the conveyor.  I am currently testing the conveyor at two speeds to simulate real life conditions (Currently testing at 6 in/s and 12.5 in/s)
    2. Capture Trigger Position
Capture the part location using a photoeye.  I am NOT currently using the position capture feature of the 9512.  Instead I have a loop looking for a rising edge of the trigger photoeye and then using the Softmotion Function Block to read the current position at that point.  I shift the position into an array to serve as a shift register.  To reduce jitter, I may eventually go to the hardware capture point on the 9512.
    3. Inspect Part
I have another loop constantly evaluating the position of the belt using a Softmotion FB read and searching the array to see if the current position minus an offset amount (distance of device from trigger point) is in the array within a given tolerance.  For instance, say a part was seen on the conveyor after the belt has moved 1.000" from its initialization.  1.000" is shifted into the array from step #2 above.  A visual inspection of the part needs to occur at 10" from the photoeye.  The loop monitors the position of the belt and when the position of the belt is seen between 10.980 and 11.020", the inspection loop triggers the inspection and evaluates the results.  The results are updated in the shift register for the part evaluated.  As you can see, the jitter in the system requires a window and not an exact value.  Obviously, I want this window to be as small as possible.
    4.  Divert Part
Based on the inspection results, the part is divereted off of the belt.  Another loop monitoring the conveyor position (using the Softmotion FB Read) is constantly inspecting the current position to see if the part is in the diverter position.  This loop functions exactly as Step #3 but the offset is different (15.000").  When the conveyor position is between 15.980" and 16.020", the diverter is activated if the part is bad.
    5. Monitoring Loop
This is a test loop I have added to determine the jitter in the system and how much conveyor movement has occurred since the last scan.  Basically this loop uses the Softmotion Read FB and subtracts the previous iteration's position from the current iteration to determine the belt movement since the last scan.
    ISSUES
I have all loops set to sync with scan engine and the scan engine running at the default 5mS.  With the conveyor moving at 6 in/sec, I am seeing the monitor loop show a conveyor movement of approx 0.031" between scans.  This indicates that the part moved 0.031" before the RT controller can respond to this.  Therefore, the position tolerance windows in steps 3 and 4 above have to be greater then 0.031" to see the part and react as it passes by the point on the conveyor.  In this instance it seems to be working, but occasionally, the distance traversed is much greater.  If that occurs, then parts can be missed.
When I run at 12.5 in/sec, I am seeing about double the distance traveled.  I need to minimize the position jitter on the system to insure that the part is as tightly controlled in location as possible.  If the part moves too much between scans, then my inspections might not be aligned with the part (ie. out of the vision FOV).  In my original research of the RT control system and discussions with NI technicians, I was under the impression that the scan engine would be running at 1kHz therefore, I could expect a position jitter of around 0.012".  Now that I have the hardware and am programming, I see that the recommended scan engine setting for Softmotion is 5ms.  That puts my position error around 0.060".
Furthermore, I plan on adding more inspections and actions at different points of the conveyor prior to the divert.  Therefore, it is beneficial to reduce the amount of delay.  My fall back approach was to program the hardware with FPGA which should give very quick response and minimize the position error between scans.  However, now that I am programming, I cannot find a way to control the 9512 with FPGA or read the encoder of the 9512 with FPGA.
According to the NI C Series Module Compatibility Chart on the website, the NI 9512 is controllable from ScanEngine or FPGA.  I can create a project with FPGA and place the NI 9512 module under the FPGA portion, but there is no I/O or functions available for the module.  When adding a DIO card to the FPGA, Inputs and/or Output nodes are created.  Also, the Softmotion tools palette only has a couple of commands and none refer to the encoder. Am I overlooking something.
    SPECIFIC QUESTIONS
    1. How does one control the NI 9512 in FPGA.
    2. How can the encoder count from the NI 9512 module be examined in FPGA.
    3. Any insights on how to optimize the project or if it can be done in FPGA with the 9512 hardware.
My gut feeling is that I will have to abandon the Scan Engine approach and go straight FPGA, but I am struggling to find ways to control the 9512 with FPGA.
    Thanks,
    Rick

    Hello Andy,
Thank you for the reply.  I have reviewed that document and cannot find anything specific about the NI 9512 Stepper Module.  I understand how to create a small FPGA project, but the problem I'm specifically having is that when I add the NI 9512 module under the FPGA target, I do not get any FPGA I/O available.  When I add the 9512 module to slot 3, I can see the module itself under the FPGA target, but there is not any FGPA I/O available under Mod3 (there isn't even a Mod3 folder created).  I have attached a JPG showing my project and the absence of any Module 3 I/O.
I cannot find a way to obtain the Enoder count from the 9512 module in FPGA.  I have searched for some examples on how to control this module in FPGA, but cannot find anything relevant.  Can you elaborate more specifically concerning the NI 9512 module in FPGA mode.
    Thanks,
    Rick

  • Spry vertical menu bar positioning issue in IE

I have been trying to fix a problem with my spry menu bar and have been looking for answers at several spry forums. I have modified my vertical spry menu to open submenus above and to the right of the main menu. It works in Opera, Firefox and Safari and opens below in IE. I tried changing the positioning from absolute to relative and that made it position itself below in all browsers. So, by deductive reasoning there seems to be something going on with IE when it reads the absolute positioning, is there a fix for this? You can see my website at raydlett.com the menubar is called STUDIO.

I have also attached the index.html file that uses the modified "STUDIO" Spry MenuBar2
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That makes sense, tooltips are tooltips, and appear at the tip of the mouse...But those "submenu triggers" can be simply styled links (as they are in a spry menu)...don't need to be swaps or images or image maps.
What about a using show/hide behavior? Click the STUDIO and the menu pops up adjacent in an apDiv. Click a link. Or click the x to close the apDiv.
You know this is just an exercise to run through all the Javascript and Spry that is in Dreamweaver, eh?
By the way, just providing a link to your page is quite all you need to do. You don't need to attach your files or show pictures of them...by providing a link, I can save a web page in its entirety and open it in Dreamweaver.
