Rearchitecture of Org/Management in ISH with Ehp4
Hello all!
We upload EhP4 functions to our ISH system, i ve got a question regarding function ISH_BP_OM SAP Patient Management Rearchitecture BP/OM. We ve read in details the technical info about this function where is written:
""Identification Key for Organizational and Building Units
The identification key is located in the field HC OU for OUs and in the field HC BU for BUs. The value for these fields can be entered during creation of an OU or BU.
Note
If you are using internal numbering, you can leave this field empty. The system does not assign internal numbers immediately following the input, but when you run the release report for OUs (transaction NB53) or the release report for BUs (transaction NB43).

So we ve set the internal numbering for ish OU but ish Org.structure in ish transactions are not created after releasing new Org. Management structure.
What can be the reason of it? We need ISH Org structer to be created automatically after creating and releasing new ISH Org. Management structure.
Help please!

We clearly understood this facts.
1. Yes, We have new system with no data in it.
2. Yes. We activated Business Function "ISH_BP_OM". and we see the migration nodes in the IMG. (under thread "Hospital -Instruments). But it shouldn't be run as you said in the clear system.
We created SAP BP with new ish roles (insurance company, employer etc.) but after this action these BP were not created automatically in ish transactions for BP).
The same situation is with the hospital structure: we created ogr. unit in OM and release it, but it was not created automatically in ish old structure transaction.
We also created a patient with ish NV2000 but no reflection in SAP BP data (role "Patient")
As i understand from EhP4 functions description, ish structure and ISh BP is now maintaining in new standard OM and BP instruments and each time synchronically automatically are being created in the ish area without any migration process.
As all ish data are still oriented for old ish tables (for example search help for physicians in case data and sheduling, search help for bed and OU asignment in case data..etc.) there must be any customizing point for this process.
And our problem is that we cant find where this activation indicator or customizing chain for automatical creation.

Trouble generating Org Managment Report
When I want to send to the workplace an org management report generated with the transaction S_AHR_61016494 the positions are visualized by characters like \n.

Here is what I am finding. If I take out the option for either/or completely and specify 'xls' only, it works fine.
When I put back in the option of either PDF or Excel, it forces a PDF no matter what I select.

Org managament -Cost Center- Position
Hi Experts,
There is a clarification required, I am creating Jobs,Positions from 01.01.1900 upto 31.12.9999 and the FI consultant has created his Cost centers mentioning the date as 01.04.2009. As se says that I need to mantain the cost center creation dates only 1 year prior to GO-LIVE date.
Now the problem is when I am creating one of the Positions in the Account Assignment tab details and its Cost distribution tab in Org Managment with PPOCE transaction, by assigning the positions relevent Cost Center where he falls to....the system throws and error stating that Cost Center not maintained on 01.01.1900 as it is the matter of that cost centers have been created only from 01.04.2009.
So, now can any of you let me know how myself and FI consultant need to resolve this issue?

Now If I create the Jobs & Position of the date from which Cost Centers have been created in my case 01.04.2009, will I be able to hire an employee with the created Jobs & Positions with previous date like for example an employee is working with Organization from 01.01.2003 till date as when I do hiringaction, system asks me for joining date, so mentioning his joinning date as 01.01.2003 and maintain all the Org data with Account Assignment, Cost Distribution as per the relevent dates.

Custom Infotype for Org Management
Hi Experts,
I Iam trying to create custom infotype to capture some infomation on an Org Management custom object and I am not sure if I can do this through PM01 because this is neither employee or applicant info but custom object info. Any idea on how to do this?Hi,
For creating OM custom infotype you should start with transaction SE11. PM01 is only for employee and applicant IT.
Go to SE11Create structure Ex:HRI9009 Create all necessary datatypes. (fields for your IT).
Then go to PPCI enter IT name and number. then maintain Table T77I here maintain time constraint for your IT.

Default Relationships in Org Management
Hello All...
I am having a big issue with the defaults of Org Management relationships. For some reason, our installation does NOT allow me to automatically create positions dependent on other positions...like 'is supervised by' relationship between positions. I have tried creating manually, and have checked the IMG for 'allowed relationships' and it shows that a position to position relationship of 'is supervisor of' is available. Any and all help much appreciated...I can't figure out how to automatically do this.

In the ECC6 system I am working with at the moment, it doesn't work that way either. In PPOME I can create a new position from an Org Unit, but not from another position.
Must admit, I have never tried to do that in this or older releases before though. We tend to mostly use Chief positions, so any new positions are just created in the Org Unit and automatically report to the Chief.
I did notice that if I created a new position in PPOME then added the "Reports To" relationship manually (via Go To > Detail object > Enhanced object description), any copies of the positon that I subsequently made in PPOME also got the same "Reports To" relationship created automatically.

to start with structure org management is simply mapping the organization chart on to the System
like what are the various departments , positions, and who occupies the positions etc.
like these objects have a relationships with other objects like person holds aposition etc.
it is fairly simple.

OM infotype
:- 1. we need to create HRI9XXX structure.
2. PPCJ t-code u can create from this t-code.
PA INFOTYPE CREATION
1) Go to Transaction PM01.
2) Enter the custom Infotype number which you want to create (Should be a 4 digit number, start with 9).
3) Select the `Employee Infotype' radio button.
4) Select the `PS Structure Infotype'.
5) Click on Create. A separate table maintenance window appears.
6) Create a PS structure with all the fields you want on the Infotype
7) Save and Activate the PS structure
8) Go back to the initial screen of PM01.
9) Click on `All' push button. It takes a few moments.
10) Click on `Technical Characteristics' . Infotype list screen appears
11) Click on `Change'(pencil) button
12) Select your Infotype and click on `Detail' (magnifying glass) button
13) Give `T591A' as subtype table
14) Give `T591S' as subtype txt tab
15) Give your subtype field as subtype field
16) Save and come back to PM01 initial screen
17) Click on `Infotype Characteristics' . Infotype list screen appears
18) Click on `Change' (pencil) button
19) Click on `New Entries'
20) Enter your Infotype number and short text
21) Here we have to set different Infotype Characteristics as per the requirement. (Better open another session with some standard Infotype's infotype characteristics screen and use as the reference to fill yours)
22) Save your entries.
23) Now the Infotype is created and ready to use.
24) If you want to change the layout of the Infotype as per your requirement.
25) In the PM01 initial screen.Select `Screen' radio button and give 2000 as the screen name, then click on edit.
26) In the next screen.. Select `Layout Editor' and click `Change'.
27) Screen default layout appears.here you can design/modify the screen.. change the attributes of the fields. etc.
28) Save and activate. (Don't forget to `Activate at every level)

46C- ECC6 upgrade with EHP4 SAP_BASIS package not found
We are executing an upgrade from 46C to ECC6 SR3 and binding in EHP4.
We have successfully downloaded EHP4 using Solution Manager MOPZ and
provided the generated "XML" file during the PREPARE.
During the phase EHP_INCLUSION, PREPARE is stopping with a message "No
matching SAINT package for 'SAP_BASIS' found".
The KB70102.SAR and KB70103.SAR packages from EHP4 have definitely been unpacked
and are available in /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in and we have prompted PREPARE to search EPS/in but it just returns to the previous error after searching.
It appears from the logs that the upgrade is expecting a "SAINT"
install package for SAP_BASIS and does not consider the KB70102/3
patches as acceptable?
Any clues as to why PREPARE is not accepting the SAP_BASIS packages and looking for a SAINT install?

Mike TarrOk, I was able to download the K-701DHINSAPBASIS package from Service Marketplace and this resolved the SAP_BASIS problem. Thank you Markus for this solution.
I also downloaded the SAP_ABA, SAP_BW, and the PI_BASIS components and unpacked those as well in /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in. My upgrade is now stuck asking for a SAINT package for SAP_ABA! I'm sure the SAP_ABA install, K-701DHINSAPABA, is unpacked and available in /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in.
The SAP_ABA files are definitely readable and there are entries in table PAT03_SDA for them.
I have a ticket open with SAP support but they have not had a solution yet for the SAP_ABA
Solution Manager failed to identify any of these packages as required in MOPZ.
I'm starting to wonder if anybody has ever done a 4.6C to ECC6 upgrade with EHP4 bound before?

Hello All,
We recently upgraded from 4.6c to ECC5.0. After the upgrade when we execute reports in Org Management like S_AHR_61016494 or any other reports, the reports changed a lot ( Layout ) the data is fine. In our previous version we are able to see many options and also we can save the report as a local file from the menu path system -> List -> Save -> Local File or any other options.
But in our upgraded system there is no option like this and many others. We can not even right click on any object and edit it, we used to do that.
Can someone explain if this has been changed like this or is this some problem with us.
Its not authorization problem as I have my profile copied over from old system to the new one.

Agree with you. Some workarounds :
- To click and edit an object : Click the object, then goto Edit -> Maintain trans.
- To save to a file :
- Right mouse click at the header of the report and select "Export to Microsoft Excel". Mine encounter an error when exporting to Excel.
- Alternatively, run the report in the background. Then use sm37 to retrieve the
spool file. When you view this spool file, you are able to save via List -> Save ->
Local File.

Thanks in advance.OM infotypes are those in which we store all the information regarding all organization attributes, activities etc.. e.g
Position is related to organization so we maintain it in OM infotypes..
in 1000, we maintain its name and long text .. in 1001 we maintain relationship of position with other OM attributes i.e. Org Unit, Job, Business Area etc.
We maintain 1000 and 1001 infotypes for all OM objects...
but other Infotypes may vary depending upon their attributes..
e.g. IT 1007 is maintained for Job.. whether it is vacant or not..
similarly IT 1610 is used for US Job attributes... we can maintain only attributes here not position and others.

How are Territories assigned to the employee via HR position in Org management? In Org management we have Org units and sales orgs and how can be territories?

you can create the position via transaction PPOMA_CRM. Then you assign the position to an org unit.
When maintaining the position you see tab 'Areas'. Here you can assign the territory for a certain validity.
Finally you can assign employee(s) to the position. Technically the employee is a Business Partner in role 'employee'.
So a typical representation in OrgManagement could look like this:
OrgUnit
-> Position1 -> Territory1
-> Employee1
-> Employee2
-> Position2 -> Territory2
-> Employee3

could any one help me with the code..org management is new to me...
i have to build teams
for head quaters:Teams are formed by Org Unit ID and Supervisor Position ID.
From the root node, for each position, check if position is a supervisor using table HRP1001 relationship B002.
If its a supervisor, find the corresponding org unit using table HRP1001 relationship A003. Each pair of Org Unit ID (P0001-ORGEH) and Supervisor Position ID (P0001-PLANS) forms a team. Populate each team into Wbt_String field. Except the root team, precede each child team with parent team. Use format parent team~child team.
If its not a supervisor, skip that position and move to the next position.
