Receiving multiple notifications for a single event (email, messages)

Since installing OS X Mavericks I have been receiving multiple notifications - sometimes two or three - announcing the arrival of a single email message. Is there any way to adjust the setting so that I only receive one notification per email or message? Now a vital problem, but kind of annoying. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Multiple Passphrases for a Single SSID ?

We are getting ready to deploy a special SSID for handheld devices to be used on.
Is there any way to have multiple passphrases for a single SSID ? The reason I am looking at this is that we may have users who come into one of our offices and may not have gotten/received the email advising of the passphrase change. My hope would be that we could implement Passphrase A when we initially deploy the new SSID and then in say 3 months, change the password. We would like to leave the Passphrase A active for about a week which should be sufficient time for them to change it and then we could delete Passphrase A, leaving only Passphrase B active. In WEP there was something like this but I dont see this as an option in WPA2. Unfortunately with some of the devices that I have looked at, WPA2 Enterprise isnt an option, so that is why I am looking at things from this perspective.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No calendar change for a single event in a recurrring string of events

Why won't iCal allow me to change the calendar for a single event in a string of recurring events? Why am I not allowed this, but can change other details and even get prompted whether I want these changes to take effect over the single event or all the recurring events????
Could this be implemented in a future version of iCal???

Hmmm that's strange TopDiver. Let's get to the bottom of this. Have you checked the notification settings on the device? To verify the notification setting on the device click on menu>settings>sound>notification sound, then test device notifications.

Any way to pass Multiple Values for a single Label in the Parameter?

I have a Report that Contains 2 Parameters, @Customer & @Area. When trying to set up the Available Values for @Area, I'm having issues using multiple values for one Label, i.e. = "4006" Or "4610"
One of the Filters in the Report is an Operation number, which is the [OPERATION] field, which is setup as a filter on the Tablix referencing the @Area parameter.
PROBLEM: I cannot retrieve any data when trying to use the ‘Or’ Operator here. If I simply put “4006” or “4610” I retrieve data, but when trying to combine it returns no data.
Example, I need to allow a user to select ‘Chassis Incoming’, which would include data from Operations 4006 & 4610.
QUESTION:

This is what your SQL query would probably look like:

You may need to fiddle around with the Separator depending on whether SQL Server inserts a space between the comma and next value.

Is there any way that we can use multiple hierarchies for a single char in single query. I tried and it just allows me to select one hierarchy even if I use hierarchy variable.
I have a requirement where user wants to see information related to a cost center with different cost center groups in different hierarchies (every year has different cost center group hierarchies).
Suppose I want to see information related to a cost center from year 2001-2004.in these four year cost center may have been associated to different groups depending upon that year hierarchy. How can I do that?

Nope. Now way to do this.
There is always just one hierarchy assigned to a characteristic. And even if the hierarchy was time dependent, it only reads it for one key date and not according to transaction data.

Check the Mute switch, which is on the left side of the phone above the volume buttons.

Alex, thanks for the reply but it did not answer my question. I only want to turn off notifications & interruptions while I am on the phone. For this desired result, the only way the Do Not Disturb feature would help is if I manually turned it on before each phone conversation. Since my phone rings at random times, this is not possible. Basically, I just want to "opt out" of call-waiting. When I had a landline I never had call waiting. I don't want to be interrupted. But beyond that, even if I am being interrupted why are these notifications preventing the other party from hearing my voice?

I would like to create one notification by defect keyed for an inspection lot .
If I work with serial numbers I can create one notification by defect
If I don't use serial numbers , all defects are linked to a single notification even though I remove the tick for "One notification by Inspection lot " in the Inspection lot category customizing ?
I would like to know if there is a way to do that.

Please note that this blog was written for 10g but concept and implementation is same in 11g.
You need to create two TP profiles for same TP (you should use different name/identifiers for both) and then make them part of same group by adding identifier "Grouping" in both the profiles with same value. From middleware pass the header "Grouping:<value>" in action name or event name header. At runtime B2B will send the same message to both TP profiles.
