Receiving "project has expired" message in LMS

I'm getting messages from users of our LMS system that they are encountering the message "project has expired" when opening one of our trainings. I understand that this is because my trial expired (Captivate 7) awhile ago, but I have since licensed an older version of Captivate (5.5). I've been attempting to open the project that was created in the Captivate 7 version so that I can republish, but am encountering the following message:
Is there a way for me to reopen this project so that I can republish without having to build this all from scratch? I've read similar posts, but have been unable to find the answer to my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This topic may help explain what is going on:

  • ColdFusion Builder Beta trial has expired message - what to do?

I downloaded the Beta 2 yesterday and attempted to install it (I had already been using the original ColdFusion Builder Beta for months).  I couldn't tell if it actually changed anything because in the About section, it didn't mention Beta 2 anywhere.  Today, I received a "your trial has expired" message while writing code, but I could still modify code and save to my servers (color-coded formatting had been deactiviated).
I uninstalled Adobe Coldfusion Builder, then re-installed the Beta 2, but now when I launch the software I receive the "trial expired" message.  I'm using a Windows XP machine.
In the end, I no longer can use Adobe ColdFusion Builder beta, nor can I purchase the actual software (which I plan on doing).
Does anyone have any advice / suggestions?  I need SFTP support, so I guess I could go back to Aptana, but I'd prefer to have ColdFusion Builder.

    Hi,
The Public Beta 2 is not supposed to expire now.
If you haven’t already updated to the latest release(Public Beta 2), you might notice that public beta 1 expired on October 15th. You can download the latest public beta 2 directly from Adobe Labs at:
    http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/coldfusionbuilder/
So I would request you to first check if you have the latest bits.
However if your Public Beta 2 also says 'expired' try doing this.
    1. Uninstall the current version.
    2. Delete the location of your CFB install, By default it will be Program Files/Adobe/Adobe ColdFusion Builder . So you will have to take a back up of any project files and delete this folder.
    3. Re-install the latest bits from : http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/coldfusionbuilder/
Note: For Eclipse install use the -clean option.
Do let us know if this doesn't help.

  • How to resolve "Your Trial Has Expired" message when launching InDesign CS6

Hello, just joined the Creative Cloud via the "Free" option.  The Adobe Application Manager downloaded and installed after which I was presented the list of Adobe Products which I could "Try" for the 30-day trial period.  After installing InDesign CS6 for trial, I'm getting a "Your Trial has Expired" message when I launch InDesign C6.
My PC environment is: Windows 7 Pro - SP1 (x64 bit)
I do have Adobe Acrobat X installed (with Enfocus PitStop v10 plugin)
Any thoughts as to what is causing this error??
    How do I resolve it??

    Hi MickyRatz,
If the trial version indicates as being expired then it has expired. There is no way to extend the trial.
You can find more details at Adobe trial software expired early -http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/trial-software-expired-early .html.

  • Getting "licensing for this product has expired" message after reinstalling CS6

I recently upgraded my operating system on the same computer from Windows 7 32-bit to Windows 7 64-bit. This of course meant I had to do a clean reinstall of all my software.
When I reinstalled Photoshop CS6, I got an error "licensing for this product has expired."
In hindsight, after researching the problem, I realize I should had deactivated CS6 on my 32-bit installation before upgrading the computer, but I didn't. I did, however, upgrade to a new hard drive when I upgraded my operating system, so I was able to put the old hard drive back in and deactivate the original installation after the fact.
However, on the 64- bit installation, even when I try uninstalling CS6 and installing it again, it accepts my serial number, but then gives me the "licensing for this product has expired message."
I have tried contacting Adobe online chat help twice. Each time I get an agent quickly, but after asking a few questions they tell me they need to transfer me to the "install department." The other night I was left in limbo a half hour waiting for the install department before I gave up. Tonight I've been on for almost an hour and am still waiting.
I assume that CS6 has left something in the registry of the 64-bit installation that no longer allows me to install Photoshop with my current (valid) serial number, but I have no idea how to fix it or get through to Adobe help. Any ideas? Thanks.

Just to update this, I was able to connect with Adobe by phone and resolve the problem. The guy on the phone was much more helpful than my two previous attempts to contact Adobe by their online chat.
The guy had me repeat the steps outlined in Solution 3 in the document that Bill refers to, however we also did the additional step of running a program called Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool. That program removed the files from my system that were preventing Photoshop from running.
    Thanks all.

  • This Project Has Expired - help!

Ok - this maybe a total pain in the butt question... but here
    goes.
A colleague created a movie using Captivate 2 demo version -
we had to do this cos Adobe spend SO long getting us the full
version and the project had a due date. We now have the full
    license.
However, the movie he created no longer works - it comes up
with "This project has expired" when you try to play it.
I don't have the original .cp file, only the .swf files (as
our IT department helpfully wiped his machine when he left the
business) - is there ANY way I can recover this from the SWF file?
I can't even open it with Captivate.
I can open the .swf file with a trial version of Flash, but
can't seem to edit the date variable.
    Can anyone help? Please?

    Hi there quiet canadian
Out of curiosity, did you try first looking at your project
properties to ensure the expiration date wasn't set? To do this,
you click Project > Preferences... and DE-select the "Project
    expiration date" check box.
Seems much easier to do that than to jump through hoops and
importing slides from one project to another.
    Just a thought... Rick

  • My account has expired message

I was invited about 5 weeks ago by my project mgr. to join and successfully tried out Adobe Connect. Now I went to the same "invitation" link and go this message:
    Your Account Has Expired.
You are getting this error message because:
You were trying to log in to your account and it has expired.
You were trying to access a content, course or meeting and your account has expired.
For further assistance, please check out the Adobe Connect support center or contact Adobe Connect support.
What do I (or my mgr) need to do?
    Thanks for your help!

I'm having a similar experience. Only the renting option had disappeared altogether, then it appeared. When I selected and confirmed my rental, it keeps telling me that the item is no longer available.

  • Endless "Your iCloud session has expired" messages - any solution?

I seem to have two related and incredibly annoying problems for which I have been unable to find a truly effective, long-term solution after extended web searches. Everything I try doesn't truly fix the problems, which I suspect are related ones:
    1. In the course of normal usage of iTunes (ever since beginning use of iCloud), I frequently get the message "Your iCloud session has expired" and I am prompted to re-enter my password. When I re-enter it, everything works - until 5, 10 or 15 minutes later, when it pops up again - and again. I haven't been this annoyed since I dealt with the constant "Nervous Nellie" security popups on Windows XP. Is there any way to get iCloud to calm down?
    2. Similar deal with iTunes Match. Almost every time I turn on any Mac with it enabled, iTunes Match will not actually work. I have to sign out from the iTunes Store, then sign back in, click iTunes Match, click "Add computer" (even though this is the same computer over and over again) and wait about 2 minutes to go through the activation and matching process again. Then it works fine. But should I close iTunes, shut down my computer, etc. and come back to use iTunes again, it's the same crazy routine all over again. Can't use it properly unless I sign out, sign in, re-activate iTunes Match, etc. Driving me crazy. Both iCloud and iTunes Match could be such tremendous services, but this buggy nonsense is hardly worth my time. Basically, a waste of $25 at this point.
Oh, by the way, iTunes Match works fine on my iPad 2 and Apple TV (never need to go through this song and dance).
If anyone has encountered either of these errors and found a solution, I'd be most grateful to hear about them.

Okay, I found additional help for the first problem on this forum. The threads I was hoping to finally appeared when I posted this question. I followed the advice posted by the community and it seems to have worked: Go into Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Details > select "apple.com" and click Remove (thanks to BasementJack and JHdeVilliers). What I do not yet know is whether or not I'll have to repeat this action now. But it's a good start. However, iTunes Match is still a mess - no improvement.

  • Display Warning: Page has Expired Message

I am sending a page content from a servlet with the response object being set the following,
    response.setHeader("Cache-Control","no-cache");
    response.setHeader("Pragma","no-cache");
    response.setDateHeader ("Expires", 0);
and the servlet will delegate the response object to a JSP which will send the actual page.
If the user after doing a transaction, presses back button, the browser should display a page with warning : Page has expired or I should display to the user not to use the back button. The Page Expiry message is sometimes displayed, but not always?
    Is there any suggestions available?
    thankx
    siva

    HI Siva,

  • License has expired message

I'm trying to download the trial version of Adobe
Dreamweaver. Everytime I open it, it says "License has expired". I
tried uninstall and reinstall a number of times, and I get the same
message. How can I fix this?
    Thank you.
I have a mac osx and its dreamweaver CS4.
I hat the beta version, but I uninstalled that, too. I went
into Library/Appliationsupport/adobe and looked for a file called
adobe PCD because someone suggested that might work, no such file
    exists on my computer.
    Please help!
    Thank you.

This error might be a result of using the beta. The beta was
available for a few months (well more than the 30 days). You may
have to contact Adobe support about this because it is not
something that people on the forums would be able to help you with
if there is a solution because it probably has to do with the Adobe
installer and how it records timings.

  • Downloaded design premium installed now getting license has expired message

i have downloaded cs4 in the past but this time i figured id try the design primium this time and i just got done downloading and installing it....(3hr process) and now i try to use it and it is giving me the message "Licensing for this product has expired" when i had cs4 it was on a different computer... please help if possable.

Dec9 and Mylenium have hit some of the "high points," and posed a couple of questions. If you do a reinstall, this ARTICLE will touch on some of the things to consider.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
PS - I think that it was aimed at Premiere Pro, but I seem to recall an Adobe Knowledgebase article on "license has expired." You might want to search this, and the PrPro forum, to see if my memory is correct, as that KB article might be useful - again, good luck.

  • My trial version lasted only 1 hour. When I try to edit a photo I get a "Trial has expired message"

    My trial version lasted
only about 1 hour. When I try to edit a
photo I get a message "Your Trial has expired" and it asks for my license key. How do I get 30 days of trial?

I changed some dates on some photos.
I think that is when my Trial expired. I deleted Photoshop Elements 8 and reloaded it. My trial was still expired. I have since purchased the product. Thanks for your help.

  • How do I block the "Your trial has expired" messages?

I have a fully paid non-Creative Cloud version of CS6 but keep being told that my non-existent trial of the cloud service has expired. I have no need of Creative Cloud, have never knowingly applied for it, and don't want to subscribe. The only Adobe help I've found directs me to update Adobe Application Manager and then sign in with my "Creative Cloud Adobe ID". Not what I want.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the response, Bob.
Since posting I searched further and finally found the probable answer — a software patch. It's available by going to Photoshop's Help menu and choosing Updates.
I found mention of the update by following a link from another discussion on the issue. I add the link here to spread the word: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2013/01/photoshop-13-0-413-1-2-updates-now-available.htm l
My copy of Photoshop is behaving since I applied the link last night.

  • Participant cannot join webinar, receives "webinar has ended message" while the webinar is indeed in session.

A participant tried to join a webinar while it was still in session via the Event Login Link.  They received a message "webinar has ended" (or something similar) when trying to join with the email address they registered with.  The webinar was still in session, so I'm not sure what was going on??  Anyone else have this issue?

This happened to one of my users but they were using the wrong link.  Is there any chance they would have had links to two different meetings and mistakenly used the wrong one?

  • I am receiving a trial expired message

Good day, I am also experiencing problems with activation. This is what popped up for the 2nd time after I have installed my Audition CS6 from the original disc.
I followed all the instructions by entering the serial number then connecting to the net to get my activation code, entered it and everything was ok. On the 31/05/2012 when I opened the app it gave me the above message. I then clicked on the "Licence This Software" and then it asked me to enter my serial number. I entered it and it went automatically to the net and activated the software. I thought it was fine then on 04/06/2012 when I opened the app again then the above message popped up again. I don't know what is causing this to happen.

Donny Bradfield the previous thread was regarding Creative Cloud.  The very fact that you installed from a disc would indicate your issue is not related to the Creative Cloud.  I have branched this to a new discussion thread.
I would recommend removing Audition and then reinstalling from your disc making sure to enter your serial number at the time of installation.
