Record Limitation In LSMW

what its the record Limitation in LSMW.
Is it 5000? or 4999?
and is there any way I can send the error records generated in the log after running session in LSMW into a ZTABLE. So that i can query it later.
Or can i bring the errors to a excel file .??

Hi friends I did find out how to transfer the log file to Excel.
Here are the steps--
Go to SM35.
Select the Log file.
Click on analysis.
Then in the command bar type" /h". This starts the debugging.
hit "Enter".
Then give the table name as "BDCLM"
press F5 . It gets filled.
Then click on "Save as Excel worksheet"
or ctrl+F11.

Record Limitation per Book of Business

Is there any record limitation per Book of Business? Previously it was recommended to have 30K for performance purpose.

I am sorry to tell you that there is no quick answer to this but i will say that maybe you need to rethink your book structure and their requirements here.
I have 4 types and 7 regions so you need to create books to allocate all these on create and also modify. Customers have raised concerns with this to Oracle and they are looking into it but they are along way from completing this. Sorry to spoil your day but i would strongly ask you to consider your books structure before you complete this.
Otherwise if you are using webservices you could assisgn the book when the record is piped into the CRM and then you only need to complete the modify workflows.

/SAPSLL/MARC_UPLOAD_R3 record limitation.

I was hoping someone could help answer a few questions for me sinc i cant find them anywhere else.
Right now we have about 600,000 records to load using the /SAPSLL/MARC_UPLOAD_R3. Through trial and error only about 2,000 records could be sent to the program at a time. Any more than that would cause an ABAP error message describing a time-out issue or a short dump but the short dump log could not be written. The /SAPSLL/MARC_UPLOAD_R3 program could not be sent to a background process so that multiple sessions could be queued up. For a 2,000 record limitation, we will need about 300 files. Right now, it means someone sitting there and sending 2,000 records at a timeu2026waiting for the /SAPSLL/MARC_UPLOAD_R3 program to finish and then sending 2,000 more. You can run two sessions at a time no more and the sessions take about 20-30 minutes to run.
I know nothing about this program so I wanted to know Is there a record limitation to this or is something else going on?

Record limitation in IR

I am using Interactive Reporting Version 9.3.1.0.22.24909 Windows XP.
and I am connecting to a large relational table but the problem is that it takes into consideration the 6706 records of table only. Is it the limition of IR in terms of max number of records.

Recording CL20N through LSMW

Hi All,
I am trying to upload the characteristics for Equipment in PM module through LSMW by using the object 0130 Classification and method 0001 Batch input.
When we are trying to specify file, an error message is being prompted No logical path specified. We could able to proceed further. We could able to specify file for other objects without defining any logical path.
If anyone faced similar issues in LSMW, kindly provide me the solution.

Hi,
You can either use CL20 for loading via LSMW-recording or use following Batch input program:
Object 0130 Classification
Method 0001 Batch input
Program name RCCLBI02
Program type B Batch input
It is not possible to make a recording for enjoy SAP transactions.
In the specify files step; for Converted data node mention logical path as LSMW (general rule) & 'logical file' same as 'file'. You can define the logical file 'LSMW' by Tx. FILE. this step is normally done by basis.

I would like to use UDT and UDF as my add on table. I doubt there is the limitation (performance issue) using these. Can someone tell me what is the max UDT, UDF, and records can application support?

Hi Eric,
There is no limitation on SBO as far as I know. There is a limitation on SQL though. The limitation (on SQL 2000 that is, not sure if it's the same on SQL 2005) you can only add fields in a table that adds up to 8060 characters. The amount of records in that table will depend on the amount of hard disk space you have available.

How to by-pass a recorded screen in lsmw, if the field in it is initial?

I am doing recording for AS02 ttransaction.
In this (AS02) transaction,we have Time dependent tab.And I am recording all fields in that tab .And then go to other screen by pressing 'Add interval ' button and will update the only field date(ANLZ-ADATU) there for recording purpose.
Here there are two points to be noted.
1.While updating the text file (where we store data to update) ,if ANLZ-ADATU (date) is initial no need to go and update date i.e no need to go to that screen ,just skip that screen .
2.If ANLZ-ADATU is not initial ,it will go to other screen and do update process.
Here where should I add the condition to skip the 'update date' screen and process to next row of data in the file?

a recording is a static sequence of screens, you cannot influence this in LSMW.
you have to use SAP given import methods if you want the flexibility.
or you do 2 recordings and create 2 LSMW objects , one with and one without processing this screen. then you split your source file accordingly and process one after the other.

Search help list recorder limited

 We created one customize table. One field use the search help function for Customer number.The search help name is DEBI. The search help parameter is KUNNR. The value table is KNA1.It is SAP standard search help name. But it have one limited. It is only list the first 500 records. Could you tell me how to set let the list record more than 500? Thanks.

there is another way also, you can create a Session in the LSMW, and record the error records in the session then process the error records in the session

Possible to edit recording created through LSMW?

I created a Batch Input Recording through LSMW. In the recording, a node has got created which doesn't have an OKCode. As a result, when I process the recording, the transaction halts in between due to lack of OKCode (I have pasted a part of the recording at the bottom. The node in Bold Italic is the problem.)
In order to overcome this issue, I have to edit the recording & remove the node completely. OR I could create an OKCode entry (for an ENTER press) in the node. But I am not able to edit the recording. I am only able to add & delete Screen fields. OKCode not being a Screen field is not available for addition.
Does LSMW not give the functionality to edit recordings at all? If it so, how can I use an edited recording created through SHDB in LSMW?

I went ahead & completed remaining all the LSMW steps. Then I processed the created session in foreground & tracked the OKCode on each screen.
It ran perfectly upto the screen prior to the problematic node. When it got to processing the problematic node, the OKCode command dialog box remained empty. This is perfectly understandable since in the recording itself there is no line item for OKCode. Unfortunately, it did not skip processing and move onto the next node which had a 'SAVE' OKCode.
This is where the transaction halted & manual intervention was required.
Coming back to square one, I have to somehow get rid of the node or find a way to insert a OKCode line item into the recording.
Did SAP tell you that it not possible to edit an LSMW recording? It is not possible to use an SHDB recording in LSMW either?

Recording for a LSMW: item pricing conditions

Hi Experts,
I need your help! I am trying to do a recording for modifying sales orders conditions (for items): VA02, item 10, GO TO PRICING CONDITION ZXXX, change value to Z, go to item 20, GO TO PRICING CONDITION ZXXX, change value to Z,....
My question is: how do I indicate the recording itself that a certain pricing condition has to be modified. Do not forget we are talking about items and the cursor will be in a different place in every item.
Good ideas will be rewarded, that´s obvious.

Dual video record limited

I bought S5 for unlimited dual video recording. Now will return because a 10 min limit is imposed. Who knows where and under what temperature I am operating. This is foolish. On my motorcycle handlebars it will be cooled just fine at 70 MPhil and less.

So when you tap the Record Video (stop) icon, or press a volume button again, the video recording does not stop.
Take photos and videos - iPhone
Shoot some video. Choose Video, then tap the Record Video button to start and stop recording. Video records at 30 fps (frames per second). With iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, you can switch it to 60 fps in Settings > Photos & Camera.
Although that symptom is not specifically mentioned in the camera troubleshooting article, please try these steps from the top.
