Redirecting a page after few seconds

Hi
In my site, after the user enters his user name and password a welcome page is shown. what I need to do is to somehow redirect him from this page in 3 seconds and run a servlet that shows him some options. Could you please help me?

JSF: Render a page after few seonds

Hi,
I am using 3 rich text editors along with many input text box, drop downs and uploadFile components on a page. So it takes sometime to load the page fully. And before the page loads fully, the users start to fill up the form.
Is there any way by which I can render the whole page after few seconds (may be 15-20 seconds) so that all the components are fully loaded before I show the page to user?

Perhaps a better design so the page loads faster is what you need. Like split the form up in different pages, turning it into a sort of wizard.
Just a thought.

Superdrive ejecting discs after few seconds ...

Hi,
Everthing worked well for 5 months ... After last update of the Tiger to 10.4.5 I have noticed that whatever type of disc I insert superdrive is ejecting it after few seconds. I've tried CD Audio , DVD's ever Tiger installation discs .. all were ejected after few seconds ...
Do you have any ideas what may be wrong ?

i would try various things for this. first i would boot to open firmware holding apple-option-o-f and then type in the following commands--
reset-nvram (hit return)
set-defaults (hit return)
reset-all (hit return)
the last command restarts the computer. if that does nothing, then try an smu reset, which is quite simple for your model of computer. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303446. also, install any available firmware updates for your computer. they are available on this page. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303903 if that doesn't do anything, then i would try disk repair http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302672. and if that fails, then i would try the archive and install http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107120. but if you archive, make sure you repair the disk beforehand, and do software updates after. i would not archive and install without go through the other troubleshooting steps. hope this solves your problem. Firefox crashes after few seconds

I have WIN 7 64bit , since last update i.e 33.0 version, i am facing a problem that firefox crashes after few seconds . I troubleshoot the same as mentioned on your site but it doesn't work ........

If you don't have enough time to go to that page and collect the crash reports:
#Press the following shortcut to get a Run window: [Windows] + [R]. This should bring up a window that contains a text field.

#From that explorer window, double-click on the ''Mozilla'' folder, then double-click on ''Firefox'' and then on ''Crash reports''. Double-click on ''submitted''.

Hp zr2740w turns off after few seconds

I have the same problem as described in an earlier post:

My HP zr2740w turns off after a second or so. Tested with vga/dvi/displayport and desktop pc/laptop, so it's not a cable issue.
My hp zr2740w was bought in July 2012 so it's probably out of warranty. I live in Finland. The webshop I ordered the hp zr2740w does not exist anymore. The HP support pages don't seem to have any support numbers for displays.
I took the display to a local IT support / electrician guy and he said it's a power supply issue. But he couldn't find a place to order the part so he could replace it.
Hopefully I'll get some answer here or an idea what to do. Wouldn't want to throw away an expensive display just because it has power issues.

It's better to post the URL of the feed (as you have subsequently done) than the contents of the feed .
From the FeedValidator report the feed is basically OK for iTunes. There are several occasions where 'content:encoded' sections (following immediately on 'guid' tags) should be enclosed in
<description>...</description>
tags: however all this will be ignored by iTunes anyway and only applies to other readers. The 'potentially dangerous content' referred to by FeedValidator is within the 'content:encoded' tags and so isn't relevant to iTunes. They are referring to an inline css style, and I don't know whether this might cause a problem elsewhere.
You should really have a language tag, e.g.
<language>en-us</language>
(you have a dc:language tag but that's for a different system). This should be placed in the top section, before the first 'item' tag.
It's advisable to have an 'itunes:explicit' tag for each 'item' -
<itunes:explicit>yes IF CONTAINS ADULT MATERIAL, OTHERWISE no</itunes:explicit>
it's not compulsory if you have no adult material, but you must have a 'yes' if you do.
You can check your feed by subscribing in iTunes from the 'Advanced' menu - this has the same result as clicking the 'Subscribe' button on the Store page. If it works OK there you are ready to submit it.

Sorry, possibly you need a new hard drive or try reformating. First
you can try something like http://www.alsoft.com/diskwarrior/ it has been known to repair disk that DiskUtility could not. YMMV and they don't give it away.
If Disk Warrior can not repair then you need to Reformate the drive. Make sure you have a back-up in place no matter what.

Every time that I tried to open it, in diagnostic and use create some files, in special one named LatestCrash-WifiSurvey.plist, this one generate an incident identifier E73B0164-CDFA-4E9E-839E-A0C021BD17A2, but this incident identifier change every time that I tried to open, the last incident identifier is: DE600EB3-AB57-4C33-8DE8-71F6788A7441.
After of it, I checked that the app had a new version available for downloading, I took a backup of my ipad and then upgrade this app, but is the same problem, all I want is to save the projects I had in this app, I´m afraid that if I delete this app and re-install it, probably I loss my projects.

Something that called my attention is part of the log that shows a big CPU processing, but the strange thing is I killed all applications.

Acrobat XI Pro automatically closes itself with no messages etc. after few seconds

I don't know why but my Acrobat XI Pro (11.0.0) automatically closes itself (with no warning, no messages etc.) after few seconds. I installed the AXI as a part of the CS6 Master Collection on my Windows 8 (x64) laptop. Just as suggested at some other posts in the forum:
I checked the "security settings (enhanced)" tab but the protected view option is already off.
I searched for the eula.exe under the "Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0" folder but there is no eula.exe. May it be not present because I installed it as a part of CS6 Master Coll. package?
I am using Eset Endpoint Antivirus as a third party Anti Virus Software.
The problem occurs when:
I open up a pdf file from outlook etc.
I manually open a pdf file from windows explorer
I open adobe acrobat with no file to view
As I mentioned above, I see no error messages or warnings during the closing down. It acts as if I clicked the close button on the top right corner. I know that there are a lot of posts in the forum about this issue, but none of them helped me to solve my problem. I would be glad if you can help me with this problem.

Hey i was having this issue also with Adobe Acrobat pro... it only seemed to be affecting one program that produced PDF output automatically. When the processes finished the PDF is supposed to be displayed and instead it would rapidly flash across the screen and close. THen i would have to hunt for the PDF to review its content. I tried a couple of things like deleting my preferences for acrobat C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\10.0. You might have to show hidden files. In the explorer window select Organize-> Folder and search options-> once that opens view -> check show hidden files, folders and drives. then navigate that path above. Make sure adobe is closed then delete everything in there or move it off to another folder if your worried it will break it further.
That did not fix the problem though. I opened the application and ran my process again same results (adobe closes pdf auttmagically). so i opened adobe acrobat and navigated to Edit -> Preferences -> look under the General tab and click the select default PDF handler and that seemed to fix my problem. I also disabled the enhanced security look further down in that list under security enhanced. then a reboot so it is possible that the enhance security setting was the cause i think i will play with that for a minute to see if it was but i think my issue was the default handling. good luck

Try loading the same video in different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer are your best options). If the issue is across all of them, make sure you've downloaded the latest version of Flash at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
If it's still stopping after that...Do the tried and tested method for everything: reset your router.

ISA 550W : Youtube streaming stops after few seconds

Since I have installed the ISA 550W, the Youtube videos stops after few seconds. It happens on all my devices : Windows 8, Samsung Smart TV, Android, Windows Phone...
I have the lates firmware.
This problem does not occur with other streaming site like DailyMotion.
I diabled HTTP on antivirus but it has not changed anything. The web browsing is faster.
Application control is not enabled.

i have do more test on this problem today and after disable all services and enable one by one i arrive on result is the Anti Virus block or disturbe the good process on download file for you tube or for another system.
My configuration is :
Product : ISA 550W
Firmware : 1.2.17
ISP : free with maximum 1Mo download with test linux image file from here :

For powersaving I use tlp and I have this device blacklisted, so it shouldn't be the cause. And the autosuspend for USB is set to 2000s. I tried to google but nothing helps.

First, connect it to another computer and try a differnet video connection. THis will tell you if the computer is doing something to contribute to teh problem...a.k.a. sending a sleep signal. If it still does not work and exhibits the same behaviour, then I am inclined to think that the backdisplay charging system (the inverter board) is not working correctly... that is, a capacitor(s) has failed.

I face same problem, after creating Adobe ID and after installing Creative Cloud app, the installed Ps and Lr can't be launched... Lr at all, no action, but Ps works for a few seconds. I could achieve "system info" from help menu as follows:
