Refresh JTabbedPane when tab is pushed?

My JtabbedPane is working fine, but the problem is that my last JFrame in my JtabbedPane called arkiv has to get updated everytime its tab is pushed and i cant get to work .I tried repaint() ,removeAll() but cant get it to work...
Can anyone help me with this?

But, I need the table refresh if tab1 data is changed.I said you update the TableModel. Thats all there is to it. No need to repaint or anything, the model is responsible for telling the table to repaint itself.
You can
a) update the TableModel directly using setValueAt(...), insertRow(...), removeRow(...) etc, or
b) recreate the entire TableModel from scratch and then use:
table.setModel( newlyCreatedModel );
Where is your SSCCE program. We don't want to see you database code. An SSCCE will hardcord the data to simulate a database query. That way you can post working code.

FF15 is preventing pages that contain auto refreshing html commands, Javascripts, Java applettes, and other plugins, from auto reloading or refreshing information on web pages, when the tabs than contain them go out-of-focus.
While tab has focus (page is fully displayed) all auto refreshing/reload embedded commands/programs work correctly.
I work with web sites, were information needs to be auto updated constantly, whether the tab is hidden or not, such as stock prices, web server monitoring, biding sites, customer support chat, etc.
This behavior can cause severe loads in web servers with web pages that contain many data items, when all server side programs that pertain to the data being displayed have to run from scratch at the same time, when the tab is brought back in focus, since the browser issues a full reload.
This behavior also interferes with "reloading" FireFox addons
One should be able to stop, and/or disable this behavior, and pretty sure this problem is affecting many users, and or web sites that rely on these commands to work according to html protocols.

No need to remove Adblock Plus, disabling it should help you discover whether ABP is causing that problem or not.
I saw a mention of that problem at MozillaZine fora a few days ago, but don't recall the details. But IIRC it has to do with toggling a setting to off.
Adblock Plus has its own support forum.They should be able to help you get ABP adjusted to avoid that issue. <br />

When I right click a link I can open it inanother tab but it refuses to open a new empty tab. Pushing ctrl+t or the + next to the tabs doesn't do anything, neither in the menu.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Mouse wheel stops scrolling page, and sometimes refresh does not refresh the correct tab, but the first one in the window.

I have 27 firefox windows open with a grand total of 141 tabs.
Some times the input is directed to the wrong window. I will click refresh and it will refresh the first tab in a window, but not the tab I am on. Apparently this also happens when I try and use the mouse wheel or the up and down arrow to scroll a page.
Some times it works correctly on 1 window, but when I switch to another scrolling stops working.
Usually rebooting the computer helps, but I should not have to do that.

Horizontal scrollbar of waveform chart in tab page resets to end when tab page switched

I've got a VI in LV 2012 with a chart in one of two pages of a tab control. Whether compiled to an executable or not, when the waveform chart contains data that is no longer being updated and the x-axis range doesn't show the last point of data, the horizontal scroll bar auto-adjusts to show that last point if you switch pages (back to the chart) on the tab control. I've tried turning off Autoscaling but that doesn't stop the effect.
Additional issues:
On some of these attempts at reproducing this, the X-Axis will even change scaling, zooming in on the data.
When data is pushed left by this bug to allow displaying the furthest data point, if the leftmost area of the chart was blank before the data was pushed left, the data pushed left into the formerly blank area will not be displayed. This happened only when the X-Axis was manually autoscaled prior to pushing the data off the right edge of the chart, and only if the x-axis scale was not changed. If the tab pages are again switched at this point away and back to the chart, the data re-appears.
The chart is a stacked plot if that makes a difference, Also, the tab control is not linked to any event handlers.
Also, the scrollbar works fine if you scroll such that the rightmost data points are on the chart along with blank area to the right, whether there is more data off the left edge of the chart or not.
Last, the Y-Axis of each stacked plot is unaffected by any of this.
I hope this isn't a duplicate - I didn't find it in the forums.

Thanks for the quick response on this. Again, the charts are awesome except for these minor fiddling details. Sorry about the terminology confusion - I didn't find anything in the Help system naming the legend buttons, and unfortunately I can't edit the prior post. When I said "AutoScale LocK" I meant "Scale Lock", and "AutoScale Once" I meant "Autoscale".
Here are the issues, hopefully clarified:
1. If any chart elements have Scale Lock set, pressing the AutoScale button for any plot causes these other plots to autoscale as well. Note these are not plots with multiple Y scales, they're stacked plots with separate y-scales for each plot. Changing the "Advanced->Auto Adjust Scales" parameter had no effect on this issue.
2. If none of the chart elements have Scale Lock set in the scale legend, pressing the Autoscale button for the X-Axis has no effect if the x-axis was previously set to show all the data history but then panned such that some data falls of either side of the chart.
This may have been confusing, so here's a breakdown of the steps to re-produce the problem using the VI I previously attached.
a. AutoScale all elements of the chart, and turn off Scale Lock on all elements
b. Move the data to the right in the chart, so the left half of the chart area has no data (e.g., set the X-Axis range to -5 to 6 seconds)
c. Press the X-Axis AutoScale button. The X-Axis range will not change from where it was in (b).
3. The Y-Axis will also auto-scale when returning to the Chart tab if Scale Lock is enabled for the plot with the fix for the x-axis scale in place (restoring the Xscale.Range parameters from a local variable). If the fix is not performed, this doesn't happen.
4. Pressing the Scale Lock button on one of the plots causes the X-Axis scale to be lost IF there is data past the maximum displayed X-Axis range. It looks like it set the X-Axis to the same problem range as before the fix was in place. I don't know how to build an event case for this, except for possibly "Mousedown?".
One more:
5. Enabling Scale Lock on any plot auto-scales any other plot that has Scale Lock enabled (assuming the user changed the Y-Axis range from the previously auto-scalled range). Obviously this is linked to #1 above, but worth noting.

JTabbedPane - Catching tab selection change

I want to catch each tab selection change in my JTabbedPane.
When I used ChangeListener, my program was unable to correctly
indicate selected tab in some cases, i.e.:
JTabbedPane contains two tabs: 0,1.
Tab 0 was selected.
Tab 0 was deleted.
In this case JTabbedPane selects tab 1, but selected index remains
unchanged and stateChanged is not called. How can I catch this?

This trick is working, but you see, the problem is more
complicated. The problem is that stateChanged() doesn't work
when index remains unchanged. This is also true for insertTab().
Both insertTab() and removeTabAt() (and maybe smth. else) causes this problem.
Maybe, possible solution will be to override some method of
JTabbedPane, responsible for activating a tab like this...?

Date field automatcailly changing when tabbing through other scripted fields

I have a form with a datetime field. The object is readonly. I format the field with javascript as yyyymmddhhmmss as a tracking number for the form. When tabbing through other fields with javascript the value changes to the current date time, like the code is being executed each time a scripted field is entered.
Any ideas how to prevent that? I just want the code to execute when the form is opened.

I think I just answered my own question. The code was in the layout:ready event. This area is executed each time the layout is modified. I moved the code to form:ready event.

Help using app_standard.event(when-tab-page-changed')

I need to create a form with the following requirements . There is one content canvas which contains a tabbed canvas and on this there are two stacked canvases .
The problem is that when I compile my form and ftp to oebs , I cannot view the tab pages on the canvas .
I see only my the fields displayed in the first tab page without the 'tab pages'.
How do I solve this issue please ?

Key focus is not visible for all objects when tabbing

I'm using LabView 5.1.
The key focus is not visible for all objects when tabbing through a "disabled and grayed-out" object.
For example, let's say I create a panel with 3 buttons. If I create a "disabled" attribute for button 2 and assign the value "2" (disabled and grayed-out) to it. When I will run this VI, the key navigation will go through button 1 and button 3 (skipping button 2 as expected) but the key focus on button 3 will not be visible.
Is this a bug with LabView or am I doing something wrong ?

Don't worry, time is not an issue... I'm posting an example of a VI with the problem I described. I noticed that the problem occurs only with "dialog buttons".
When you have time, let me know if you see the same behavior. If you do, I will report the problem to National Instrument.

Tab content is empty when tab is dragged

I have two TabPanes which can move tabs each other. This is the code of the TabPane which receives the dragged tabs from the user:

I noticed that when I drag the tab into the target TabPane the content of the tab is empty. But when I swith to the next tab of the target tabPane and return back I can see the content. This is couced by this line:
tab.getTabPane().getTabs().remove(tab);
Can you tell me how I can change the logic in order to prevent the empty tab body?

This looks like a bug; I see the same thing in the context of your other thread. I can't seem to find a workaround. I have some sample code below which demonstrates the same problem without cluttering the code with drag and drop. This should move the selected tab in the bottom tapPane to the top tabPane ("Up" button) or the selected tab in the top tabPane to the bottom tabPane ("Down" button). When a tab is moved it is automatically selected; moving a tab to the top tabPane fails to show its content. (Strangely, moving a tab to the bottom tabPane works fine.) You should probably file a JIRA; reference this thread ("discussion" in the new forum-speak).
