Refunds system won't recognize BBW transaction number

Bought Imeasure which won't work so I tried to contact the developer and the email won't work so I went to refunds and the BBW refunds does not recognize the number they gave me.  The error says the number is supposed to have 8-10 numbers and this has 8 so it should work. I tired adding a zero at either end and nothing.  There is apparently no other way of contacting anyone.  The dollar isn't important I just wanted to see how it works.  Apparently it doesn't.

okay, after a few emails the developer has decided his Imeasure does not work on BB10.2. end of story for now

  • Updating from OS X 10.2.8 - System won't recognize password

I recently updated to OS X 10.5.6 directly from 10.2.8. The clerk at the Apple store didn't think that there would be a problem make this large of a leap, but after installing and rebooting, my system would not recognize my existing password. I was able to log in through the installation disc and changed the password, but when I logged back in, it would not accept the changed password (although the hint that I added when I changed the password showed up after three tries, so I have to assume that the changes were accepted and that the system simply isn't making the connection between what I enter as my password and what the password really is).
Any advice on what I can do to get back into my system? (And yes, I'm aware of all of the 'stupid user' issues, such as typing with caps lock on ... I made sure that the problem is not due to user error.)
I also do not have access to the old OS disks, so I can't reinstall the old operating system even if I COULD get into my system to do so.

That's what I'm saying: I did reset my password through the installation disc, but the system still would not accept this new password. I tried this multiple times with a variety of different passwords — both simple and complex. It made no difference.
    Any other ideas?

  • System won't recognize a RAID after upgrading to 10.5

    Hello,
Two RAIDs were working great on an Apple G5 with OS X 10.4.0. After upgrading the operating system to 10.5 and other changes listed below, the computer doesn't recognize one of the RAIDs. The computer does recognize one RAID, which does not have a port multiplier; it does not recognize drives in the RAID with the port multiplier.
    System: Apple G5 Quad Processor
    SATA card: Sonnet E4P
RAID A: SC-SAT05PM, with Port Multiplier & single SATA cable
    RAID B: Mercury, 2 drives & 2 SATA cables.
All 3 SATA cables connect to ports on the Sonnet E4P.
Both RAID's were created with OS 10.4 disk utility software
Here's how things happened, in order of time:
There are 2 internal drives in the computer, G5..1 & G5..2. My wife installed OS 10.5 to boot from internal drive #2, G5..2. Both RAID’s were recognized by the computer in OS 10.4 and OS 10.5. However, the system was instable and crashing frequently with 10.5. She then dragged the G5..2 10.5 Applications folder to the trash and she only boots to 10.4.
At this point, 10.4 is still recognizing both RAIDs.
We went on vacation and I shut down both the RAID and the G5.
After booting everything back up, the system will not recognize the RAID with the Port Multiplier. The computer Does recognize the other RAID with 2 hard drives.
Any way to get our RAID back without losing the data? I read another thread where somebody suspected firmware in the controller. The drives seem to initialize in the RAID box just fine, and the disk utility sees the individual drives, but reports them as Offline.
Mercury RAID with 2 Seagate drives and 2 SATA cables going to the G5/Sonnet.
Clicking on G5RAID..800 in the left column shows these results
Port Multiplier RAID with 5 Seagate drives: 4 are in the RAID set, 1 is not.
Clicking on disk10, which is grayed out, in the left column gives these results
    THANKS!

The Port Multiplier in the failing RAID system has the Sil 3726 chipset, it’s the card on the left within this page: http://www.addonics.com/products/hostcontroller/pmcc.asp

  • System won't recognize microSDHC card

I just purchased a SanDisk 4 GB microSDHC card to use with my phone. I tried to connect it to my mac via the front USB port in order to load some music & pics on it. I am not able to get the finder to locate the card, however. I have gone into finder general preferences, and all boxes are checked to show items on the desktop (my external drives show up on the desktop just fine). I went into disk utility to try and format it, but it doesn't show up there. When I go into the system profiler, I can see it as "MobileMate Micro" on the USB device tree, but otherwise cannot seem to get to it.
The reader I'm using is the one that came with the card, so that shouldn't be an issue. I have a PowerPC G5, running 10.4.11. Hopefully someone has an idea how to make this work. Thanks in advance!
    Tanya

I'm in the exact same boat, only difference is that I'm using my card with a Canon Digital Rebel. I can get the images to download to my computer only when I connect the camera and use the software that came with the camera to download. It won't even do that if I just stick the memory card into my Belkin card reader. I have an old SanDisk 256mb card that I stuck in the reader and that one worked (it was formated on a PC, I don't know if that makes any difference).
So yeah, this is really rather frustrating to me, especially because now I have to take out my huge-bum SLR camera and connect it through a USB cable.

  • Upgraded operating system won't recognize usb device

I recently upgraded my operating system to Mavericks  OS X  10.9.4, and now when I try to upload pictures from my camera into Adobe Bridge, it says that it does not recognize the device.  I have tried using different USB cords with no luck and I am not sure what else to try.  I would appreciate any help.  Thanks!

  • My Windows 64 bit system won't recognize my ipod/itunes...

I am using Windows 7... My brother and I also share the same computer, and our music libraries are quite different.  I do not know if that has anything to do with it or not.  I've tried removing the software and reinstalling it, but it doesn't always work.
WOW, the program has been removed from my PC... and while I was typing this, the itunes sync page popped up!  I don't know what is happening, I just want to listen to music.
    Help me please.

    Hello misspam0113,

  • New iMac won't recognize Aperture 3 Serial number?

    Hello
I am trying to load aperture 3 on my new imac.  When I enter the serial number it gives me the message "You have entered an upgrade serial number.  Please enter your original serial number".  What I am entering is the original serial number that came with aperture 3.  A couple of things that maybe important to note is that I have used both aperture 1 &2 prior to installing aperture 3.  As well, I am currently running aperture 3 on two additional machines which I will be slowly fazing out.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks, Shane

The key question is, is the Aperture 3 that you bought an upgrade version or full version?  And how and when did you buy it, Apple online store, DVD or App Store?
If it is an upgrade version you will need to enter you're Aperture 2 serial number. If it is a full version then have a look at Troubleshooting Professional Application Serial Numbers and Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers
Finally you can try going to /Library/Application Support/ProApps and seeing if there are any files there with Aperture in their name in some form.  Post back if there is.

  • Envy 17 HDMI won't recognize mutliple displays

I've got a brand new HP Envy 17 j000 Quad Edition laptop.Device manager is showing two display adapters - one for the onboard intel HD graphics and one for the nVidia 740 GT adapter. When I try to connect an external monitor via the display port (HDMI) on the monitor, the system won't recognize it. Two questions:
Why is the internal Intel HD Graphics taking precedence over the nVidia? Typically I would set up multiple displays by this driver, but the Intel HD is the one showing the access ports - and only recognizing the internal connection and a VGA connection (which this system doesn't have).
Is there a preferred connection method - VGA/DVI/DIsplay port? I have the correct display port adapter and a new HDMI cable - both are new.
    thanks -  David B.

Here is a bit of information on the Displayport / HDMI question:
    Display Port // DP-Audio-User-Guide-v1 PDF
    DisplayPort.org FAQ
TechRadar.com – HDMI vs DisplayPort – which is best?
It may not directly solve your issue; it should help a bit with the background you might need to find a resolution.
    =====================================================================================
Single External Monitor - that is, connect one external monitor to your computer
Sometimes the issue is simply resolution - you might therefore be able to duplicate the main computer screen, but not extend it over to the external monitor.

  • Moutain lion won't recognize my bose companion 2 speakers, any solutions?

Just upgraded to a new mac mini 17 running moutain lion. Unfortunately the system won't recognize my Bose companion 2 speakers. I really would hate to have to get new speakers. These sound great, Is there any solutions? If not what computer speakers are compatible with mountain lion? Thanks.

If it is the speakers can you recommend a good but not overly expensive speaker set that you know are compatible with mountain lion. I have been reading a lot of online blogs on the subject and it seems I'm not the only one having an audio compatability issue with mountain lion. Though it could be the speaker brand too. Apparently Bose is not too compatible with mountain lion, at least it seems to be the brand that is having issues according to online bloggers.
    Thanks much appreciated.

  • System will not recognize purchased fonts

I recently updated my macintosh to OS 10.4.4 from OS 9.4 and now cannot use three sets of fonts that we purchased from adobe.com or had custom-made. I had no issue using them in OS 9, and plan to use them in Illustrator, which runs in Classic anyways. Any insight as to why the system won't recognize the fonts, even in Classic? I have the fonts in the OS 9 system folder. Thanks.

  • Erased mac book pro (2009), how can i reinstall osx?  it won't recognize any old system disc

erased mac book pro (2009), how can i reinstall osx?  it won't recognize old system discs

    Did you try:
Install or Reinstall Mavericks or Mountain Lion from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
OS X Mavericks- Erase and reinstall OS X
OS X Mountain Lion- Erase and reinstall OS X
OS X Lion- Erase and reinstall Mac OS X
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless.
If you don't have the original discs that came with the computer, then you can install the retail version of Snow Leopard:
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mavericks if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s iCloud services; fees and
               terms apply.

  • After OS Upgrade, System Preferences won't recognize audio input/output.

When I got an iPhone, I had to upgrade to OS 10.5.8, as well as upgrade Safari (to 4.0.3) and iTunes (to 9.0.1) for everything to run smoothly, and it does.
However, since I went though the motions last week with these upgrades, System Preferences or Utilities doesn't want to recognize my audio input/output jacks. It won't recognize when I plug in my stereo or my headphones. I hook up my computer to my stereo all the time to listen to music in the living areas of my apartment, and now I can't because it isn't reading the jack.
Any suggestions? How can I get the system to fix this problem?

  • OS X 10.6.8 was playing DVD now won't recognize store bought discs.  Normal Discs no HD and the same discs work on imac.  Any thoughts?  Is there a patch or a way to reload possibly or a system utility that I can run?  Thanks anyone

I don't know what changed but it just won't recognize a disc any more.  The DVD player itself seems to open up, but the disc just spins in the case and after 20 seconds it spit it back out like nothing ever happened.  The same disc plays fine on the imac.
