Reg: Internal Candidate Reference user-

Hi all
I did not create a reference user for internal candidate. I have run the report to generate the business partners. I have created new user id's for the internal candidates and assigned the role 'SAP_RCF_INTERNAL_CANDIDATE'.
I have created a reference user 'RCF_CAND_INT' now. I tried to run the report  for the rest of the employees, and i dont see the reference user role getting assigned to the employee's existing user id.????????????
I have created reference user for external candidate and it is working fine .
Thanks
Priya

Hi,
Are you on a Stand Alone Erec Instance ? I believe the reference user must be assigned by the ALE when you do the initial transfer.

    Hi,
If any possible for reference user?
A is main person the same access give to B.
If any update it is automatically change to B also.
    Thanks

    Hi ,
this function exists for assigning authorizations and its name is 'referenceuser'....
Simply create a user of type 'reference' in SU01 (usertype on logon-tab).
then assign the roles to this reference user.
Then assign this reference user to user A and user B.
Now both users A,B have the same authorizations. If you change authorizaitons of the reference user, for instance assign an additional role, both user will get this change in parallel. other settings than authorizations are not affected by this function, only authorizations assigned.

  • SAP E- Recruitment - Internal candidate

    Hi,
When i try loging into Internal Candidate page iam getting an error message "an internal error occured pls try again later". EREC and ESS are on the same system and Eph 1.
but i have created the necessary i.e

    HRSYNC_P

Would be great if you could what is that iam missing. Would appreciate your knowledge sharing on same.

do you have a valid 105?
also look in slg1 to see what is the error, this usually tells you where the issue is.

  • E-recruitment reference users missing

    Hello,
Unable to launch E-recruitment services due to missing reference users.
The table T77RCF_ROLE has a list of reference user(listed below), all these users are not available in table usr02.
    RCF_CAND_INT
    RCF_MANAGER
    RCF_TC
    RCF_MGRASS
    RCF_CAND_EXT
    RCF_ADMIN
    RCF_RECRUIT
    RCF_DATA_TYP
    RCF_REQUEST
    RCF_DECISION
    RCF_SUCC_PL
    RCF_RES_REC
    RCF_RES_SUCC
Could you please let me know how to create these users?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I'd like to add some additional background information here. Missing reference users usually do not prevent the eRecruiting application from being started. As long as you have the correct authoriation you will be able to start the services.
In general only the reference users for the roles internal candidate and external candidate from table T77RCF_ROLE are actually needed from a technical perspective. All others are not needed and the application will work without them. You not even have to clear them from the table.
When candidates are created by the eRec application or the candidate is switched from internal to external the authorizations are set by assigning the reference user. Technical background is the delay from assigning an authorization role directly to a user till the authorization really gets active. This delay would prevent the external candidate to work with the system after the user switch from the service user to their own session when they register for the first time. The use of reference users bypasses this issue.

  • Using HRALXSYNC to create internal candidates for E-REC

    Hi Experts,
I have a question regarding the use of HRALXSYNC.  We have E-REC installed on our ERP system.  Security concerns have already been addressed.
I understand that I need to run HRALXSYNC to create internal candidates.  When I first run this program, it shows a red light beside the employee number.  I then click the CP line and click the repair button to create the internal candidate.  The lights then turn all green.
Is this correct?  In order to create internal candidates I need to use the repair function for every employee from HRALXSYNC?
Also, going forward, do I need to run this report for every new employee hired and perform the repair act to turn them into internal candidates?
    Thanks in advance.
    Shane LaBonte

    Hi Shane,
e-recruiting only copies the user group assignment and the licence data of the referene user to the internal candidate. This is documented in Note 1324887 - User group and LicenceData of int. or ext. reference users. This note was SAPs solution to a customner requirement that there is no possibility to specify the user group for crating users for candidates e.g. in IMG.
As this was originally developed for the old ALE I can't tell if the HRALXSYNC mechanism which is now used together with ALE for EhP 4 also in the standalone scenarion has been enhanced accordingly.
The password for the user is generated and therefore "unknown" for security reasons. If sap would generate a standard password someone could just use it to access any account as long the internal candidates have not used it for an application and changed it. This would be a data security nightmare.
There are two different standard scenarios to handle this. In a system landscape with single sign on users use their password for the SSO lead system / repository and the password on the e-recruitng system does not matter. If there is no single sign on internal candidates use the "request password" link on the login screen to get their password.
    Kind Regards

  • External/Internal Candidate information in e-recruiting

    Hello all
I'm doing a workflow and i need to identify some information about candidate like type of candidate (internal or external). I tried to find the information from table hrp5102 but I found nothing concerning the type of candidate. I've been thinking in table USREFUS, this table contain reference user for internet applications:
    RCF_CAND_EXT for External Candidate
    RCF_CAND_INT for Internal Candidate
Any of you can tell me if there is a better way to do this.
    Thanks for all
    Emilio Ciotta

    Dear Emilio,
To be able to use the workflow functions, you must create a system user (such as WF-BATCH) in the standard system.
For more information, see the Implementation Guide for SAP E-Recruiting under Technical Settings ® Workflow ® Workflow in E-Recruiting.
In SAP E-Recruiting you must also assign this user (in addition to the other users) to a candidate. You can do this by using the RCF_CREATE_USER report.
Also you will need the correct authorizations : External candidate  SAP_RCF_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATE
                                                                               Internal candidate   SAP_RCF_INTERNAL_CANDIDATE

  • E-Recruiting 6.04. Issue with internal candidates e-mail.

    Hi,
We are on E-Rec 604 with seperated standlone e-rec system.
We did the initial transfer of employees with ALE and we though that all were ok, but now we realized that there are some internal candidates that no have e-mail adress in e-recruiting.
We have been investigating and those employees have filled the infotype 105 subtype 0010 in Hr system. In E-Recruting system the user created by ALE has the e-mail too, but in transaction BP only a few of them have filled the field e-mail in the block of adress independent comunication. So only this few internal candidates have e-mail in the portal of E-Recruiting.
We are looking for any differences of those employees in HR system but we can´t find anything.
Someone could help me with the reason of this problem, please?.
And someone know if there is any way for repared this in the e-recruiting system.
    Best Regards,
    Esther

    Hi,
I just want point out the HCM ALE processes. Firstly independently of connected to eRecruiting or not.
The message type HRMD_B is containing the infotypes belonging to the software component SAP_BASIS.
The message type HRMD_ABA is containing the infotypes of the message type HRMD_B and the infotypes belonging to the software component SAP_ABA.
The message types HRMD_B and HRMD_ABA must be used to distribute HCM data into non-ERP based landscapes.
The message type HRMD_A is containing the infotypes of the message type HRMD_B and the infotypes belonging to the software component SAP_HR. It should then be used to distribute HCM data into an ERP based landscapes.
Esther is describing an eREcruiting standalone based on an ERP landscape. Therefore, the message type HRMD_A should be used.
Then, from the HCM integration in Business Partner point of view, the standard implementation of the BAdI HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC should be deactivated. This implementation is normally converting the object P into a CP, because the object P is known only in HR (and ERP based landscape). In an ERP based landscape, the P will exist with its CP. The integration to the BP will not work during the ALE-Inbound process, but during the Synchronization run (report HRALXSYNC). The implementation makes sense only in none-ERP based landscapes (where message type HRMD_ABA will be used).
Ester should then adapt her distribution model to be able to distribute the necessary infotypes for the consistency of a P (infotypes 0000, 0001, 0002, 0003) as well as the one which are used for the BP-integration (infotype 0006 subtype 1, infotype 0009, infotype 0105 subtypes 0001, 0005, 0010, 0020), as well as the HR-object CP and its relationship to the P (infotypes 1000 and infotype 1001 subtype B209).
With the hope it is clarifying the usage of the message types depending on the used scenario and on the used landscapes.
    Best regards.
    Pierre

I have checked in the infotype tables and business partner table (BUT000) with no luck.  Can someone help?

  • E-recruitment: Internal candidate

    Hi,
As an internal candidate applying for a job, when I press send application nothing happens. It is not giving any error message also.
When I check slg1 log, I get it as failure in LHRRCF_MDL_CAND_PROFILEU21. Can some one please help how we can fix this issue.

    Hello Nydia,
the data of candidates is stored in the same tables for internal and external candidates. The different used OM objects for candidate (NA), central person (CP), businss partner (BP), person / contract (P) and the user (US) are linked together in table HRP1001. Where CP is the center which links to all other objects. External candidates do not have a CP-P relation and on integrated installation CP-US relation is emulated over the IT 0105 dircetly for internal candidates but these are details.
The personal information like name and date of birth are not stored in infotyps but in the business partner (TCode BP, table BUT000), address and communication are stored via business partner in a central adress component and linked to the candidate via IT 5110 (table HRP1001). If you have no other information you can search for a candidate via name in BP and then get the other object IDs for CP, NA, ... in IT 1001. Only thing to remember here is that CP-BP relation is an external HR relation so CP->BP exists but BP->CP not and don't forget the leading zeros in SOBID field.
The rest of the candidate information is stored in IT 5102, 03, ...
    Kind regards

  • SAP eRecruitment - Internal Candidate registration

    Hi,
Is it possible to provide registration functionality for Internal candidates, similar to what the external candidates have ?
    Thanks.

    Thanks Sebastian.
I was wondering in case we create a custom application, will we be able to handle things like the application flow from the registration page to the standard personal pages for Internal candidates as soon as they register, and also the user switch from unregistered to registered user.

    Hi,
can you tell us the technology which you are using?
If it is BSP the coding decides the channel used for the seach based on th is_employee information. Here a wrong system behaviour could be caused by missing authorization on the employee object (P). In this case the application might not be able to read the P object which would let the internal candidate appear as external one. The application would change to the external application coding and show the external publication.
If it is Web Dynpro it points to a wrong application linked. The web dynpro application calls a certain inbound plug in the web dynpro component. If the wrong application is used the wrong plug would be supplied and the application could switch to the external publication. Same would happen if you entered the wrong plug in the in the startpage configuration.
Another thing which comes to my mind rading that it only effects some employees. Have you checked field IS_INACTIVE in HRP5102 for these employees?
    Kind Regards

  • E-Recruiting - Application Group for internal candidates

    Hello,
has anybody an idea how to assign internal candidates to an application group within the SAP E-Recruiting 603? This application group should only exist in the background and should not been publicated. So I guess a requisition won´t be helpful in that case.
If you´ll setup a new application group and start a publication, this group is only available for external candidates for the Recruiter via "Reference Code Search". It seems that it´s not possible to assign internal candidates.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
Application groups are only assigned to external candidates.
If you want to enable initial applications also for employees (internal candidates) this was designed as follows:
If an internal candidate releases his/her profile and maintains there data in the preferences tab he/she shows that they are interested in a new position and the direction this job should be like.
