Hi Boris,
Thanks for your reply. Now i am going to explain clearly.
I am new to this topic.I just started to work on KM.In KM i have seen one report in Content Management-> Reports -> Approval Maintenance. If i click start url in Approval Maintenance, then it allows me to create one report, this report has 10 colums. Now i want to edit this report.
So could u please explain me, is it possible or not. But i think if it is not possible then we able to create new one like Approval Maintenance.
I gone through some of the document abt CM repository and Filter. Now i have some doubts about it.
1)How can i create new one like Approval Maintenance?
2)Where will i get values for my report?
3)What are the configuration for creating reports and getting values?
Thanks

  • Modifying Approval Maintenance Report

    Hello,
We have a requirement to add an extra field in the Approval Maintenance Report. Can you please guide us how to proceed with the same. From where we can get the code of this standard report. Is it possible to chnage the original code of the report.
Any suggestion will be of great help.
    Regards
    Deb

    Hi Kalyan,
Though you have added a new column to the Field Catalog, it MIGHT not get displayed on the output. This is because, it would be in the hidden mode. Try this. Click on the Layout, add this new field and save the layout. You should be able to see your new column now.
But dont forget to do the same in Quality and Production systems.
    Hope this clarifies your problem

  • Display Approval maintenance report

    Hi All,
We have created a standard KM approval process with a one step approver. That is working fine.
Now we want to generate a report displaying the number of documentswhich are  in "yet to be released"
and "rejected" cases. I can see that there is an option in Content Mamagement->Reports->Approval Maintenance
where i can run a report and check number of documents in rejected cases. However we need to present the
same to end user as he wont be having CM role. Is their any Iview which displays the same and we can assign
the iview to user. Or is there any other alternative?

    Hi Jamie,
I'm not sure if you can use a decode the the HTML Expression section. I don't think it will recognize it since it is a SQL expression. What I do is to put the code in my report SQL. For example, if your column was named Image, your report SQL would look something like this:
    Select
    col1, col2,'<IMG SRC="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#' || DECODE(FAQ_SYSTEM,'TRAMPS','TRAMPS SMALL.jpg','PROACTIS','Proactis Small.jpg',
    'YARDI','Yardi Small.jpg') ||'" />' Image, col4, col5...
    from table
    where conditions.
If it doesn't work, check the source code for the page and look at the html code for the IMG tag. You could be missing a quote or something and it is much easier to find it if you look at the source.
One other thing, you might want to try having no spaces in the image filenames. Better to use underscores '_' I think.
    Hope this helps you,
    Aaron

  • User not receiving emails regarding approval notifications

    Hi,
SRM system has been upgraded to 5.0.
User is not receiving emails regarding Approval notifications. However, the user is able to view the SCs pending for his approval in his approval list.
I checked the transmission of the emails, the approval notifications are sucessfuly sent and the email of the user is correctly maintained. I tried resending the emails, and the user didnt receive emails even then.
Could be please advice what could the error.
    Thanks
    Hemanth

    Hello Hemanth Kumar,
    If approval mail:
    - is correctly generated,
    - you can see it in SOST transaction,
    - request status in SOST is OK,
this means SAPconnect is working fine, so your problem does not come from SAP.
You have to check your STMP gateaway and your mail server.
    Regards.

  • Solman 7.0 - Question regarding "New Maintenance Optimizer Transaction"

    Hi All,
Since I'm quite new on Solman transactions, while monitoring my queue, I found 4 tickets that says "New Maintenance Optimizer Transaction".
    This is what's inside:
    "Internal Note             SOLMAN_ADMIN 08.04.2014 08:41:25
The status was set to the value 'Selection'"
Can someone help me on where to find information regarding this, or if this is something I should take a look at?
    Thanks!

    Hi Bua,
Somebody has created an new maintenance transaction from MOPZ of solman, which is used for generated XML for applying support packs and EHPs.
Selection mean, that the user was selecting the components but has now done anything or updated the status

    Hi,
Whcih Workflow are you using for the Shopping cart approval?Based on the workflow used, teh agent determination varies e.g. for the Std 1step  ,2 step approval workflow, agent assignement is done at the task level but for N step approval workflow the agent determination is done thorugh the BADI "BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI".

Depending on the Approval Workflow, you are using, there are Binding Events under the Triggering Events tab of the Workflow inside the Workflow Builder (Transactions - SWDM / PFTC ).
There the event can be defined, depending on the Business Object Type methods avaiable in SWO1 Transaction for BUS2121 in our case. (SAVED => Reqt cov. request Shop. cart created )

  • Regarding Data Maintenance Tool

    Hi ABAPers,
Can any one Explain me what is the use of Data Maintenance Tool. And also let me know where and how to create this tool.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Ramana Prasad. T

    Hi Ramana,
    <b>
Mass Maintenance to SAP Data – Current Situation</b>
If only a few tens of records are to be added or updated, entering this data manually into SAP is a reasonable option. However, if several hundred to several thousand records are to be updated, manual data entry is not an ideal choice. Manual data entry can get very expensive and time consuming and is not the best utilization of corporate resources – this is especially wasteful for data that already exists in another digital format, e.g., Excel files. Not only that, manual data entry is very error prone and can lead to severely degraded data quality.
The SAP mass-change transactions are only useful for fairly simple data change scenarios where one or more fields need to be changed to a constant value for all records. Most mass changes scenarios are more complex than that and the second and third options are the ones mostly chosen.
The other tools provided by SAP for automating mass maintenance of data, include tools such as ABAP and LSMW, which are extremely technical in nature and require technical experts in the IT departments to create special-purpose data upload programs. Following the standard change control procedures and industry standard software development practices, writing these special programs ends up being a very time consuming and a very expensive proposition for most companies. Further, many of these programs are throw-away programs written for one-time use only.
    <b>
Mass Maintenance to SAP Data– Ideal Scenario</b>
An ideal tool for mass maintenance of SAP data would let the data update projects to be implemented by the end user departments themselves. A few super-users within these end-user departments that supply the data should have the ability to transfer the data themselves without relying on technical experts. Such a tool would significantly cut the time and effort required in SAP data maintenance.
The ideal tool for mass maintenance of SAP data should be easy to learn and should require no programming. Furthermore, such a tool should work across all the different SAP modules and the SAP products, including the different versions of SAP
WE PROPOSE TXSHUTTLE AND TABLEPRO AS THE IDEAL TOOLS FOR ROUTINE SAP DATA MAINTENANCE!

  • Regarding Table Maintenance Generator of a Database Table.

    Hi,
I have two DB tables (These tables were developed previously) i am asked to maintain entries in these tables.
The delivery class of both tables is 'C' and in the table maintenace generator both have the "Recording routine" as "STANDARD RECORDING ROUTINE". But one of the tables is prompting for Work Bench request and the other for Customizing Request.
Could anyone please guide me when a table asks for a Customizing Request and WorkBench request.
Thanks in Advance for your esteemed replies.
    Regards,
    Raghavendra Goutham P.

    Hi Raghavendra,
    this is from help.sap.com
The delivery class controls the transport of table data for installation, upgrade, client copy and when transporting between customer systems. The delivery class is also used in the extended table maintenance.
The delivery class is also used in the Extended Table Maintenance (SM30).
It is not possible to transport the entered data using the transport connection of the generated maintenance interface for tables having delivery classes W and L.
Data that is entered is checked to see if it violates the namespace defined in table TRESC. If the data violates the namespace, the input is rejected.

One step, two step in Table Maintenance Generator
Single step: Only overview screen is created i.e. the Table Maintenance Program will have only one screen where you can add, delete or edit records.
Two step: Two screens namely the overview screen and Single screen are created. The user can see the key fields in the first screen and can further go on to edit further details.

  • Regarding Oracle Maintenance Wizard.

    All,
I'm about to upgrade from R12.1.1 from 11i. Please let me know if anyone has done this using "Oracle Maintenance Wizard." and is it useful. I haven' used this before .
    Regards
    Rahul

    Hi Rahul,
I'm currently using MW for the first time to upgrade 11.5.10.2 to R12 and yes it's really useful in that the steps are all predefined for you and the patching is pretty much automated, you can record your timngs and add notes etc. However there are a few things to be aware of, and like any new tool it takes a little while to figure out how MW works, once you've got it setup right and know how it works then it's a really useful tool.
the key things I've come across are:
    - you need a DB to store the MW repository in
    - make sure you setup the ssh properly and test it as defined in the install guide - 329476.1
    - make sure you upgrade mw to the lastest version - 2.17 - I did the update manually and this took a bit of frigging around
    - unfortunately the user guide is out of date so the screenshots differ, plus I don't think there's enough info in the install guide
    - define your nodes and paths, you can redo these at any stage
    - check each upgrade step before hand and if you not using liveupdate then download each patch before hand
    - MW only upgrades to 12.1.1 so you'll need to apply further patches if you want to go to 12.1.3
    - get your functional people to use MW also as there's a whole bunch of functional steps
    - read all the other oracle docs associated with an upgrade..and as always there's heaps!
    good luck!

  • Regarding plant maintenance module

    Hi Experts,
Can you please guide me where I can get the vanilla attributes for all the objects available in SAP ECC 6.0. Please give me an idea on maintenance planner groups.
    Thanks in advance.

    > Can you please guide me where I can get the vanilla attributes for all the objects available in SAP ECC 6.0. Please give me an idea on maintenance planner groups.
The "vanilla" is in client 000. Many customizing transactions offer the possibility to use an RFC destination to compare with another client/system. If you create an RFC connection to client 000 you can compare values.
