Regarding changes in Masthead

Dear Experts,
When clicking on com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par.bak for downloading it shows com.sap.portal.browse .
I am unable to get the extension par .bak even after unzipping also ... Hence i am unable to import it to NWDS and make the necessary changes .Please Guide .

Remove bak extention from above file. (by renaming)

Im trying to change the masthead logo image.
I downloaded the com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par and opened it on IDE.
I understood that I need to update the HeaderiView.jsp on this location:

I was looking for < img src tad but didnt find and I understood that the original logo is
retrieved by prtlHdrBrandImgContainer. In this case, should
I remove this line? What should I add instead?
 
2. Where I need to locate the new image I want to use?

Hi Yoel,
if u want to change only the logo it doesnt require the change of code.u can change it through theme editor.
customization of par file is required if and only if u want to change the structure of masthead that is changing the places of logo,branding image etc..
To change the logo through follow thest steps
1.Navigate through System Administration --> Portal Display --> Open your theme
2. Save it in your own name to avoid the changes in the default theme.
3.Open the Logo section.
4.In this provide the full address of ihe image location at the URL to logo field.
5.Save your changes and assign this theme to your portal desktop.

Regarding change in stock account

Hi,
At the time of Production receipt, we will debit the FG Inventory and credit the Change in Stock A/C and at the time of delivering the Finished goods to the Customer we will debit to Change in Stock and Credit to FG Inventory A/C ( Simply reverse the entry).
Here I want to know what is Change in stock account and when is the Cost of goods sold A/C effected.

Material movement should happen at standard price only. Kindly check what are you telling production order standard price must be price that is maintained in the material master only.
How did you determine the system is picking the moving average price in some cases at which period you are analysing.
Costing run is not being done you have mentioned then the standard price is same in every period.

Regarding Change in Cost Center after Advance payment

PO is created, against that PO Advance payment is given and payment is given to Vendor of advance.
Now query is that the while generating PO wrong cost center is entered, and user want to change that.
How we can solve this problem ?

Hi,
You cannot change the cost center in down payment entry, but can be changed in PO.
Then again you have to use KB61 to do transfer posting from one cost center to another, since this will only post an internal CO ducment to adjust the balances from one cost center to another, assuming that CO update for Controlling is active in your system.
Use down payment accounting document no in KB61.

Regarding change document creation

hi all
I created the change document & there i mentioned the master data table name TCJ1T (Project types)
Updation to this table is done via standard tcode SPRO
but my log entirs are not going in CDPOS , CDHDR
now my question is :
by creating the change document, when i run the standard tcode where exactly the change document will be called to log the entries

Where you have created the change doc?
in SCDO tcode
Activate the object after creation and giving the table name
Once it is created entries should come into CDHDR and CDPOS tables.

Am using Change Document read function module to find out the changed material details. i want to fetch the plant from marc to filter the records am having the only relationship i.e material to fetch the details from marc and mara,with this i can't filter because for one material four plants will be there.so am using the tabkey from that function module to fetch the plant i don't think is this a right way can anyone explain how i can get a plant.

Can anyone say what we usually change in the standard scripts?That is In MEDRUCK ,RVDELNOTE,RVINVOICE.In what case we will change these forms ? And what we change in these standard forms?Can anyone say it in detail?

Hello on the projects you usually has to change the layout and add the data retrieval into the SF, generally I do not know the client that accepts fully the standard SAP forms. So usually it's your developer task to adjust forms to the client needs. (you just copy it to Z-names or /name_space/-names.

I have XSD File For File Sysyetm and IDOC For ECC.
In XSD File I Have Different Name Space And Data Type ,
I Created the Data Type as Same as the XSD File Data type
I Have Namespaces Are Different,
So,I Changed the Namespace in the XSD File with the New Namespace Which I created in IR.
I Changed in Two Places Like this

But it is giving Error lik this
Cannot load schema with the target namespace http://xxx.com/xi/xx/vamsi/100 to namespace http://Sample1.com/xi/file;

Regarding Changing data in Table Maintanance Generator

I Created one Z Table for Five fields Sales District( BZIRK) , Sales District Description (BZTXT) , Vendor No , Vendor Name and Person Incharge. I Created Table Maintanance Generator for five fields.
In my ZTable after giving Vendor No when i enter Vendor Name is coming automatically and record is Created.For these i used Event No 5.
When i am going again and When I change Vendor No When I Press enter Vendor No is not coming automatically.
Which Event Should i use.
How can i achieve this . Plz send detailed process.
