Regarding faulty items

Hi,
can any one help me out how to skip faulty items while creating PO Using PR data.
I am using bapi  BAPI_PO_CREATE1.
i need to eliminate faulty items before calling the BAPI
How to identify the PR contains a faulty item
Pls help me out on this issue

Hello,
For uploading you need to create seperate GL masters you create one account group for upload accounts. Under that grp you need to create all accounts. All are balance sheet Accounts. GL Balance Upload Ac, Customer Balance Upload Ac, Vendor Master Upload Ac, Asset Master Upload Ac, Material Upload Ac. You should take the trail balance of the company and chose all gl accounts with balances. Use LSMW upload GL balance upload.
Ex-Vendor Account: Vendor balances always shows credit balance and client want to upload line item wise ex line items are: 1000, 2000, and 3000 then
Vendor Upload Ac Dr
To Vendor Ac 1000 To Vendor Ac 2000 To Vendor Ac 3000
Ex-GL Accounts: these GLu2019s always shows debit balances. When upload GLu2019s the entry will be
Salaries A/c Dr
To GL Upload A/c

    Hi,
    Please reverse the transactions which have been posted over this PO line item.If any transaction has been posted over this item system will not allow to change the plant since the postiings takes place for the plant.If any document is posted system will allow to change fields like PO qty like fields which are less.In order to chnage the plant the PO item should be afresh.
    If not any transactions posted ,Since the item is with Red double click on the error which will tell you why the item is faulty and you can act accordingly and after this error removal system will allow you to change the plant.

    Aggregates can be built out of other aggregates to reduce the amount of data to be read and, hence, to improve the roll-up performance Aggregate hierarchy is determined automatically. 
    In order to use an aggregate in the first place, it must be defined activated and filled. When you activate it, the required tables are created in the database from the aggregate definition. Technically speaking, an aggregate is actually a separate BasicCube with its own fact table and dimension tables. Dimension tables that agree with the InfoCube are used together. Upon creation, every aggregate is given a six-digit number that starts with the figure1.
    am sure using basic aggreate will solve this issue..Try and let me know..

    Line Item and High Cardinality
    When compared to a fact table, dimensions ideally have a small cardinality. However, there is an exception to this rule. For example, there are InfoCubes in which a characteristic document is used, in which case almost every entry in the fact table is assigned to a different document. This means that the dimension (or the associated dimension table) has almost as many entries as the fact table itself. We refer here to a degenerated dimension. In BW 2.0, this was also known as a line item dimension, in which case the characteristic responsible for the high cardinality was seen as a line item. Generally, relational and multi-dimensional database systems have problems to efficiently process such dimensions. You can use the indicators line item and high cardinality to execute the following optimizations:
    Line Item Dimensions
    Line item: This means the dimension contains precisely one characteristic. This means that the system does not create a dimension table. Instead, the SID table of the characteristic takes on the role of dimension table. Removing the dimension table has the following advantages:
    ¡        When loading transaction data, no IDs are generated for the entries in the dimension table. This number range operation can compromise performance precisely in the case where a degenerated dimension is involved.
    ¡        A table- having a very large cardinality- is removed from the star schema. As a result, the SQL-based queries are simpler. In many cases, the database optimizer can choose better execution plans.
    Nevertheless, it also has a disadvantage: A dimension marked as a line item cannot subsequently include additional characteristics. This is only possible with normal dimensions.
    High Cardinality
    If your dim table size exceeds the 20% of your fact table then you can say it as high cardinality, for ex: your fact table contains 100 records and your customer dimension contains 25 records means this dim is with high cardinality. you can check with your client for the expected records for those dimensions or for the info objects which you define in one dimension. to know the sizes of the dimension tables and fact tables you can runa a program in SE37 SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS, it displays all your info cubes fact and dimension tables with sizes, if any dimension exceeds the more than 10% to 20% it will be in RED.
    It means that the dimension is to have a large number of instances (that is, a high cardinality). This information is used to carry out optimizations on a physical level in depending on the database platform. Different index types are used than is normally the case. A general rule is that a dimension has a high cardinality when the number of dimension entries is at least 20% of the fact table entries. If you are unsure, do not select a dimension having high cardinality.

    Note: In SAP BW 3.0, the term line item dimension from SAP BW 2.0 must a) have precisely one characteristic and b) this characteristic must have a high cardinality.     SAP recommends that you use ODS objects, where possible, instead of InfoCubes for line items.

  • Question regarding Free Items

    Hello All-
    We are using SRM version 4.0 and we have implemented both Standalone and Extended Classic scenario.
    Using ECS scenario, we have a requirement to create Purchase orders with $0 at line item level. Few lines in the Purchase order will have price assocaiated with qty and few lines will have $0 associated with qty. ( Example: Purchase order has 2 line items. 1st Line has a price of $100 and the second line has a price of $0.)
    Whenever we create a shopping cart with such line items, the PO is getting created in "Held" status. The error message reads "Enter the price or set the follow-on document indicator".
    I would like to know the way to implement this functionality i,e PO to get created with $0 at line item level and the backedend PO is checked with "Free Item" indicator for that line.
    Any ideas are suggestions will be appreciated.
    FYI - In Standalone Scenario, we can create PO with line items having $0.

        Step 20 :  R100--- 100% discount-  -100/- Rs-----ERS
           Step 30:               Customer A/C    0 /- Rs
         Step 40: tax caluculate on step 10  CST 2 %--2 /-RsMWS
    In this way customer account 0/-Rs debited CST account 2/-Rs credited.

  • Regarding Open items in Tcode OVA8 in Credit Management

    Assignment of Credit control area to sales area is not maintained& Item category is not credit active. But it is blocking some customers for open items for order. I want to know the reason. and also. Credit limit is defined for all customers &Credit control area is defined for all Customer master data. But blocking only 2 customers for open items . I will be thankful if any one answer to the reply . And i want to know the implication of open items in OVA8.

    when I am debugging my driver program all the values are coming into the internal table and i am passing that internal table to the Script form ,every thing is ok.But the item details are not printing in my form.
    I checked all the sizes of the fields in my item.Every thing is ok.
    I have  to print the item details.How to do...?

    LSMW cannot be used for data involving table control. U need to go in for a BDC session method for better performance .

    I had configured the UWL and I am able to get the mails of the documents in the inbox of SAP. But I am not able to get the workflow items. Even I had maintained the task in SWFVISU.

  • Regarding GL item tab in MIRO transaction

    I am working on MIRO transaction.
    In GL Item tab, if we enter Account number it has to be
    checked with ZMMTABLE and display error if not available.
    In Ztable we have company code, account number(SAKNR) and ZFLG as key.
    need to fetch by key.
    How to fetch company code and account number from screen?
    I am using BADI INVOICE_UPDATE, CHANGE_AT_SAVE method.
    WHen i clic save button in MIRO transaction, the BADI is not triggered.
    I have implementation active and made break point too.
    I tried displaying invoice document in MIRO , changed the amount and clicked save button. but BADI is not triggered
    Can you tell me how to debug bad? i put break point in BADI method and opened session then execute MIRO.
    Pls advice how to go with.

    I want to access GL item tab account number from MIRO transaction to BADIINVOICE_BADI Method CHANGE_AT_SAVE. I entered the account number in GL account tnumber tab. but parameter TI_RBCO_NEW-BUKRS & TI_RBCO_OLD-BUKRS values are empty inside BADI method.
    Can you suggest me how to find this.

  • Regarding open items in credit management

    Dear friends
    My query is that is it possible to restrict credit management for credit and debit open items? See i am using oldest open item blocking in my scenario. Now credit and debit amounts are both considered as open item for credit management. I want only invoice (Debit entry) for consideration and not his payment(credit entry).
    Please advise is it possible or not and if possible where to define that???

    All business have their own credit management needs, SAP allows you to specify your own automatic credit checks based on a variety of criteria. You can also specify at which critical points in the sales and distribution cycle the system carries out these checks.
    SM30 - Table/View

    V_T014 – FI - Define Credit Control Area
    T001CM - FI – Assign Permitted Credit Control Area to company code

    Oldest open items
    If you don’t want to deliver to the customer at all when even only 1 invoice is overdue.

    No of days allowed for overdue or payment terms.
    Use of the credit check Oldest Open Item. If a user attempts to alter the order quantity of a released sales document
    that was previously blocked, it would be reblocked again by the system. The system only reblocks the sales document if the new order quantity is above a certain % amount.
    Released documents are still unchecked
    The preset % is whatever you want to set it as when configuring your automatic credit processing. You enter a deviation % and number of days,eg, you can set it so that an order can be changed by up to 10% within 30 days of original order entry date without it going back on credit block.
    Next Review Date
    If a customer has a credit limit of 1000 USD, and you would like to restrict this credit limit only to be available in current month (say March). If the document day is in April then the credit limit is zero.
    You can use the “NextReview date” and “Number of days” fields and combined it with the “Last int.review” field in customer credit master “Status” view (FD32).

    The balance must for the postings happened during those dates, there can be some postings prior to that date (Opening balance) and which when included the total balance must be netting to zero. Please check.
