Regarding getting list of employees on probation

i need your guidance
i need to check the list of people who are still under probation, during hiring action infotype 0016 and 0019 are maintained.. i checked with report s_PH0_48000450 (Date Monitoring)...bowever from the list we are not able to make sure if employee are currently permanent or on probation
i want to getting complete list of peolple who are still on probation till date
Please guide me if any report/Tcode is there to get.

Thanks alot for your reply.. as u suggested i tried checking with par1 and par2, however still i need to list of employees who are currently on probation.. during hiring in contract element infotype we mark as on probation, n also make entry in 0019 infotype.
the status which we are maintaing are withdrawn, inactive, retiree and active.. how i can get list of persons on probations period

Hi,
I can think of two different solutions. You can choose the one as per the requirement.
1. Creating a report of locked employees as on date.
Active employee that are locked in Infotype 3.
As infotype 3 doesnt have different Begin data and end dates, we cannot have historic data/report.
2. Creating a report for payroll not run.
Getting a list of active employees
Check the RT of the employees for previous payroll runs.
You can use the selection criterila for dates/months.

We are trying to get the list of employees from sap for whom we ran the FNF in the current month.
For example,if an employee left the organisation in the month of April,we are holding the salary of the employye.
After approvals from different departments,may be after 2 months we change the control record to april and we run the payroll for the employee.later we change the control record to current period. In posting we use the other period and maintain 01 2010 and post to accounts.
Here we want to extract the list of employees for whom we post the Full and final settelement in the particular month.

Using the FM CU_READ_RGDIR read RGDIR, get the sequence number for the given period and read the BT (Payresult table returing from below function module )using the FM PYXX_READ_PAYROLL_RESULT. In BT table (Bank Tranfer) u can get the Bank transfer amount.

List of employees hired in a particular period

Dear Experts,
I need to generate a report which gives me the complete list of employees that were hired in a particluar period. Say, I enter a period (date range) in the selection screen, i need to get the employees hired during this date range.
Could I do this using IT0000 or do i have to consider the hire date of the employee.
any suggestions and help is highly appreciated (points would be rewarded)

Welcome to SDN:).
For this report you better check the hire date of employee from IT 0041.
But also check with your functional consultant how the system is configured in your case.
I think there are standard report(FM) to get the employee hire date. Just search in SE37.

Customization of the list of employees LOV in selfservice

I need to change the list of employees that occur when we click on Delegate button. When an Manager gets a notification he can delegate the notification to other employees. when we click on delegate a window pops up search and select User or Role, then there is an LOV that populates all the employees in the current implementation and As we are currently implementing only for few sites the LOV should populate employees who belong to these departments only. So can anyone please suggest what kind of customization needs to be done. I am using oracle Jdeveloper9i on a 11.5.10.2

Yes you can do it using design console but you can do it using admin console also.
goto sysadmin url-> form-> search your form by passing the form type "Resoource" and resource type as your resource object.
open your form and check if you can edit the property.
However I haven't change using UI. Still Oracle working on sysadmin side. they will release the patches for same .

Pricing: New condition type not getting listed in options in product master

Hi,
I have created a new pricing procedure and also created a new condition type for it. I am trying to create a condition record in the product master for this condition type but the condition is not there in the list of conditions. How can I inlcude it in the condition list?
Even the new condition type I have created by copying 0PR0 is not getting listed in the options, whereas 0PR0 is getting listed.

you need to enhance the condition maintenance group in the customizing, which is assigned to the product master. Please check: IMG: Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Products -> Special Settings for Sales Operations -> Assign Condition Group to Application CRM and IMG: Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Conditions and Condition Technique -> Condition Technique: Basics -> Create Maintenance Group.

Is there any FM or BAPI to get list of all sales orders

Hello all,
I have the requirement like below.
Is there any FM if i Pass Drawing document no, type,part,revision level which gives
the output list as.
1) all sales orders, where the above drawing document no is attached to the materials
and these materials are used as one of the lower level components in the Sales order BOM,
I need to show all those sales orders along with SO number,item,Material,Plant and BOM Item no,
2)all sales orders, where the above drawing document no is attached to the materials
and the same material is one of the item in sales order.
3)all sales orders, where the above drawing document no is used as one of the component in Sales order BOm's
Addition of 1,2,3 will be the o/p.
are there any FM or BAPI to get the above list.
Basically the above report is concatenation of report outputs of t-code CSD5 and CS15.

Best practice for Active Directory User Templates regarding Distribution Lists

Hello All
I am looking to implement Active Directory User templates for each department in the company to make the process of creating user accounts for new employees easier. Currently when a user is created a current user's Active directory account is copied, but
this has led to problems with new employees being added to groups which they should not be a part of.
I have attempted to implement this in the past but ran into an issue regarding Distribution Lists. I would like to set up template users with all group memberships that are needed for the department, including distribution lists. Previously I set this up
but received complaints from users who would send e-mail to distribution lists the template accounts were members of.
When sending an e-mail to the distribution list with a member template user, users received an error because the template account does not have an e-mail address.
What is the best practice regarding template user accounts as it pertains to distribution lists? It seems like I will have to create a mailbox for each template user but I can't help but feel there is a better way to avoid this problem. If a mailbox is created
for each template user, it will prevent the error messages users were receiving, but messages will simply build up in these mailboxes. I could set a rule for each one that deletes messages, but again I feel like there is a better way which I haven't thought
of.
Has anyone come up with a better method of doing this?

You can just add arbitrary email (not a mailbox) to all your templates and it should solve the problem with errors when sending emails to distribution lists.
If you want to further simplify your user creation process you can have a look at Adaxes (consider it's a third-party app). If you want to use templates, it gives you a slightly better way to do that (http://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_WebInterfaceCustomization_AllowUsingTemplatesForUserCreation.htm)
and it also can automatically perform tasks such as mailbox creation for newly created users (http://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_AutomatingDailyTasks_AutomateExchangeMailboxesCreationForNewUsers.htm).
Alternatively you can abandon templates at all and use customizable condition-based rules to automatically perform all the needed tasks on user creation such as OU allocation, group membership assignment, mailbox creation, home folder creation, etc. based on
the factors you predefine for them.

Java tablespace SAPSR3DB is not getting listed in DB02 tcode

Hi all,
We installed Java Add-In in existing ABAP system.
During Java installation a tablespace will be created named PSAPSR3DB.
This particular tablespace PSAPSR3DB is not getting displayed in ABAP-DB02 transaction.
We installed Java Add-In both Quality and PRD Environment.
PSAPSR3DB tablespace is getting listed in PRD but not in quality server.
Pls give some inputs on this regard

Getting list of items from one table indirectly associated with another

I have a database containing 3 tables. One is a list of employees, one is a list of companies that are clients and another is the projects each employee is working on. The projects table is the only connection between the employee and the company. An employee is working on a project for a specific company. I need to find a list of companies someone is working for given the employee's ID. How would I do this? I've done direct queries before, but never anything that involves going through another table. I have an explanation of my tables below.
Employee ------------- Project ----------- Company
Name ------------------ Name --------------- Name
ID -------------------> EmployeeID
------------------------ CompanyID ----------> ID

What I have is one main table, joined to 3 other tables, and each one of them have one category in common, and they are in a many-to-one relationship with the main table.
The Function category in the main table is the same as the Function_Name category in the others

So when you get the ID can't you Select the data from the products table that matches it, and then take the Name field for that and search for it in the Company table? I think you can do embedded search statements. another way would be

Very simple.Use report MB51.Enter batch & plant.Transaction event type-WE.
Then execute.u can get the details.In this change the laypout.Click on current display variant,then on position deselect all
options,then select only PO & shift to left side & save.U will get the required report.U can save ur layout also.
