Regarding Infoset (At Selection-Screen) - Urgent

Hi All,
In Infoset 'Selections' tab, i have defined a selection parameter 'country', i want the user to have options to input only 5 country codes. The country code i am reading from LFA1-LAND1 as this relates to Vendor.
I would like to know, what code should i enter in 'At Selection-Screen' to ensure that, when the user press F4 they only see these 5 country code + the description?

Hi All,
The below code for selection criteria 'At Selection-Screen' for an infoset-query works ok, but i find 2 problems, can someone help.
1. When user presses F4, i wanted the output to display
   SG Singapore
   IN   India
   But at the moment it just displays
   SG
   IN
2. If the user enters any other value apart from the above 2 i do not want the query to execute, instead show something like enter a valid value. But at the moment if i enter another country code manually just to test eg: US, the query runs with this selection which i do not want.
Hope my problem is clear, await inputs.

for the 2nd problem,
create a range for ingapor and india say r_range.
and
r_range will have two values say india, singapore.
loop at VEN_CTY.
if ven_cty not in r_range.
display error message.

Infoset-query-selection-screen-default-values

Hi All,
I am having the requirement as I need to put default values in the selecion-screen of the report by using Infoset query. Let me know the settings required for this.
I am using SQ01, SQ02, SQ03 T.Codes.
And I need display one record only if any field contains mulitple records, for example in the HR-ABAP, field p0105-usrid contains multiple values depending on the subtype.So, I need to display USRID when URSTY = '900'. All these should display by Infoset query only.
Pls help me in this scenario , its an urgent requirement.I am very much thankful for you for reading my proble, if you will provide some sort of solution, I feel very happy.

To default the values on your selection screen, you will need to do some ABAP I guess. (if you do not want to use variant). Open up the infioset in SQ02 and then goto code option for the PNP**** field and then you can code to initialize the selection screen variables. Test with an ABAPer.
To display multiple records as multiple columns, you will have to create custom fields in infoset, and then go from there. Again see ABAPer.

Infoset Query Selection Screen

In an infoset query. how to split the Selection Screen into different screen areas (Blocks).
Means, presently the Selection Screen is having 20 fields together under single block.
I want to group them into different blocks with respective Headings.
How to do it?

Hello Jogeswara,
Go back to the infoset using SQ02. On the "Change Infoset" screen, go to the "Field groups" section. You may have to click the "Field groups" pushbutton. If you right-click on the field group, then you can create, change or delete a field group. Add fields to a field group by dragging field from left-side of screen and dropping on the right-side of screen.

F4 search-help in infoset query selection-screen fields

Hi all,
I created an infoset, and it's corresponding query, and now I need to associate F4 search-help in two of the selection-screen fields. Since they don't have any reference field associated (they are SAP standard table fields), there are no possible values available to select.
How can I do this?
I have already tried to use the "AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT" in the infoset, but I'm not able to do that. When I try to use the select-options generated by the query (SP$00013 and SP$00014) I have a syntax error with "Field not known".
Can you help me? I never done this before, so I really don't have a guess.

I have found thread that helped me a lot in this issue.
I just have one more doubt: I created the selection criterion and I can already see it in the query selection-screen, but it's appearing in the top of the selection-screen, in a different area called "General data selections".
Isn't it possible to include it in the "Report-specific selctions"?

"Date on which the record was" instead of
"Date on which the record was created".
Is there any way we can manage the selection screen texts in infoset query.

In the Infoset, click table -> field, double click on field and you see the field technical & label information, change the Field label there.

Infoset Query Selection Screen Issue

Dearf Experts,
I am a SAP-PM functional area. (Do know very little about technical sideof SAP)
I am working on SQ03/SQ02/SQ01 for the first time to create an Infoset query.
The output screen is incontrol and showing all the fields as per my specifications.
My problem is the Selection Screen. This is displaying to many things not desired by me.
1. Two tabs (I do not expect any tabs)
2. Many Screen areas, repeating the fields (1000,0100,0101,0102,0103)
The screen area of my specified fields in at the bottom.
My expectations about the selection screen is - just like simple one as in the case of SQVI.
Please help me in getting through this problem.

Exactly as you said, I am using Notifications logical database.
(I was suspecting this reason)
Infact I found about 8 fields (Perhaps related to Date fields, checkboxes etc) are automatically selected from the LDB.
My trials to delete them were invain. They reappear while saving.
I would be very thankful, if you help me in this case.

Regarding dates and selection screen

In my selection screen i have 2 date fields(ranges). I have a requirement wherein i have to allow user to select only one date i.e. let the date fields be date1 and date2 when the user enters date1 he should not be allowed to enter date2 and when the user enters date2 then he should not be allowed to enter date1.
when user enters date1 and tries to enter date2 then a message should be displayed.
pls urgent requirement and points are gauranteed.

Help needed in selection screen - Urgent

Hi Experts,
I have a selection screen. I have three radi buttons in that selection screen. Based on the selection of the radio buttons I need to activate corresponding selection screen parameters.
e.g : if radiobutton1 is selected, njo activation needed,
       if radiobutton2 is selected, activate selection screen parameter p_one,
       if radiobutton3 is selected, activate selection screen parameter p_two.
All three radiobuttons are attached to the same radio button group.
I have assigned the parameters p_one, p_two, p_three to MODIF ID as follows.
p_one - NULL
p_two - t01
p_three - t02.
on the selection of a radio button I want the corresponding parameter to get activated.
please help me.

May be you can use this FM POPUP_WITH_TABLE_DISPLAY_OK with the list of spool number populated into internal table.
If you are particulary looking for selection screen, then decalre your selection screen as below
Selection-screen begin of screen 9000.
Selection-screen end of screen.
Then use the statement Call selection-screen 9000 starting at x y.

At selection-screen is the event of a report program in which we have to validate the selection screen fields.
SELECTION SCREEN
Selection screens are special screens that are defined with the help of ABAP statements. As programmers do not have access to the flow logic of selection screens, they cannot define dialog modules for selection screens. The ABAP runtime environment fully controls the processing flow of selection screens. To allow programmers to modify the selection screen before it is called (PBO) and react to user actions on the selection screen (PAI), the ABAP runtime environment generates a number of special selection screen events before the selection screen is displayed and after the user has executed actions on the selection screen
AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT
This event is executed at PBO of the selection screen every time the user presses ENTER - in contrast to INITIALIZATION . Therefore, this event is not suitable for setting selection screen default values. Also, since AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT is first executed after the variant is imported (if a variant is used) and after adopting any values specified under SUBMIT in the WITH clause, changing the report parameters or the selection options in AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT would destroy the specified values.
Here, however, you can use LOOP AT SCREEN or MODIFY SCREEN to change the input/output attributes of selection screen fields.

The event is triggered when the user calls the F1 help for the field <field>. If no corresponding event block has been defined, the help from the ABAP Dictionary is displayed, or none at all if the field has no Dictionary reference. If a corresponding event block exists, it takes precedence over the default help mechanism. It is then up to the programmer to ensure that appropriate help is displayed.
You cannot declare the event block AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON HELP-REQUEST for input fields on the selection screen that are declared within a logical database. You cannot override the help mechanism of a logical database within the program. You can define separate help within the logical database program using the HELP-REQUEST option in the PARAMETERS and SELECT-OPTIONS statements.

The individual fields of radio button groups do not trigger the event AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON <field>.

0FISCPER - not populates value in the look up - selection screen -(urgent)

Hi all,
Fiscal year/period ( 0FISPER )is set to user input veriable that to appears in the selection screen, when we click on the Lookup for the Fiscal Year/period - dont get the list of possible Periods to choose from.
its an Master data infoprovider and fiscal period fetching the data from T009C. Hope it might be the reason not appear the possible periods in lookup.
How to get the fiscal yesr periods in look up?
Even I am not able to edit the Master data Tab of the Onfoobject in chnage mode.
what could be reson ?

steps to go in debug mode in called program.
<li>Put break-point on SUBMIT statement. Submit statement calls another program.
<li>Before run calling program after entering selection-screen, give /H in command field and press ENTER.
<li> Now Check , Break-point At menu in the menu bar, select statement and now give MESSAGE statement.It stops when MESSAGE is reached.
