Regarding qRFC errors.

Hi all,
Kindly provide me the method to view a qRFC error.
Using SMQS T-code I am able to monitor only the qRFC Monitor of the corresponding system.
Please guide me to solve the issue.
I would feel good if the links of docs and pdfs are provided for the same.

It really depends what your error is related to. For example, if you are getting an error due to data extraction program from BW or BI, the error is only visible at the time of the error, through the Informational IDOC.
St22 and SM21, will sometimes help, but the TCODE for administration of qRFC is SMQE. Here you can activate a log, so that more information can be analyzed in the case from the example, since the error is not retained.

Error Logging and notifying users regarding the errors

we are designing a workflow in which if any user comes across an error (at any branch or while executing an action) must be alerted with the error and must send a notification to the admin that the process has stalled at that particular part of the workflow due to some error.
my doubts are
1.how can we notify the admin and the initiator of the workflow regarding the error a particular user gets.i saw in adminui that there are two tabs for the admin to view the stalled actions/stalled branches.but the admin and the user needs to be notified with an alert or email that a particular action has been stalled.
i think i conveyed my problem in a correct manner.if its confusing then plz tell me coz i am already confused in this..

I am loading a COPA cube from a DSO.
There are about 15million records to be loaded. every time i try loading the data, 1 or 2 Data packages gets stuck and finally it leads to a runtime error DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR with exception CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB.
When i checked in SM21 transaction code, i got the following message

This is a table space issue....
u will be getting a Dump...as DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR check in ST22. in this DUMP if u scroll down u will find the table for which this is failing. Actually this is like some of the table related to the DSO is not having sufficient space to cary out the transaction. hence it is failing.
U can also see in DB02--> Deadlock....u will see that there is a deadlock for this table. So find the table from ST22 and ask ur basis team to increase the space for this table....
This can be solved only by increasing the space of the table...no other solution....ask help from ur basis team.

Regarding the error ORA-01841: (full) year must be between -4713 and +9999,

The issue is the code is not inserting the good records into the MIE table. This is becasue of the error 'OtherError GFSTM_INS_SNURK_NEW_TABLES_PA.gfstm_ins_asn_journal_pr:ORA-01841: (full) year must be between -4713 and +9999, and not be 0' This error is throwing out because of space issue in dt_asn_shipped.
My requirement is to log error if any if not get the next record in the loop and insert it in the table if it has no error. The issue is good records are not getting inserted. The snurk_cmms_crct018_asn_journl in the cursor is a synonym which uses dblionk to connect to the remote db. The dt_asn_shipped data type is char(6) and the format is YYMMDD.

Regarding Transport Error

Hi All,
We have created a Z Cube which is getting data from 0FI_GL_4 InfoSoucre. This is the common infosource for 0FIAP_O03, 0FIAR_O03, 0FITX_O03. All these cubes are having data in Prodution client. Now when I tested Data loading in Dev for my Z cube, I got error regarding alpha conversion. So I enabled alpha conversion in Transfer Rules and reloaded data. The data loaded perfectly. Now when i transported the model to production, my transport request failed. The reason is
(1)InfoObject 0REF_DOC_NO still used in ODS object 0FIAP_O03 (contains data), 0FIAR_O03, 0FITX_O03.
(2)Characteristic 0REF_DOC_NO cannot be activated.
One solution for it will be to delete data in those ODS in prod then transport the active version of InfoObject from Dev to Prod and then retransport my Zcube. But for this I have to delete data from production. Is there any work around for it?????

Hi Jayanta,
Have you changed the conversion routine at the info-object level / you just activated the conversion routine in the IS? If it is only activated in IS level then you should not have received such error message. I am assuming you have changed the property of the info-object.
Can you use a different info-object instead ? If not then i don't really see there is any work around. It is generally a problem whenever there is a change in the conversion routine of the info-objects and transported to production that contains data without conversion.
You need to take a copy of the production data before deletion.

Regarding Workflow Error and Notification problem

I am working on Workflow. I imported data first time in Data Manager and created new workflow. Now while "Launching" this workflow it is showing error "The record is currently used in workflow".
I was using this repository for other data with different workflow but i deleted all previous data and workflow. Why it is showing this error? When i have new set of data with new workflow than i think i should not show this error.
Other Question is regarding Notification:
To notify the person we have to make following changes :
1) Have to use Notify stencil and have to give e mail ids in User detail
2) In my server ini file i have to give my mail server name.
After making this changes I am not getting any mails. Please guide me for the same.
Please guide me how to rectify this error and what are the prerequisites?

Hi Ronak,
Couple of issues with emailing:
1. You need to restart your repository after updating .ini file to effect the changes.
2. Your SMTP server should relay mails without SMTP authentication.
3. You can also send emails to outside domains such as yahoo or others if your SMTP server permits.
Check with your mail server administrator and perform a simple SMTP telnet test to make sure your SMTP server is not an issue.

it is not an mapping problem.. it may be due to wrong configuration in the adapter communication channel configuration .. during receiver configuration the record set structure will be defaultely present, try to remove that and provide ur message type which u created in the IR..
and try to check with the test tab..
