Regarding SPS.

Hi Guys,
          Now i am using Netweaver 04 and SPS 14. Is it ok for me or wheather i am going to upgrade to SPS 16 and 17.
What is the difference and advantages over there. Also i dont know use of SPS.
Anyone explain me what is SPS going to do?
And sned me the download link for me. I have valid user in SERVICE.SAP.

I just wanted to inform that , PI7.0 is similar to SP16 i.e till SPS19.  But PI 7.0 is part of nw2004S release.
Just wanted inform you that ,<b>SP17 is part of nw2004</b> (miscommunicated). You can download SP17 itself. But many places we are using SP16.

  • Credit Memo with reference

    Dear All,
    I have a requriement where Credit memo will be created against multiple invoice reference
    but amount will be copy in single line from VBRK-NETWR for all refenced bills.
    I have sarched in furum and found that it is not possible I have to copy items from referenced
    invoices and then proceed for credit memo.Plz revert if this is possible in SAP standared configuration.

    Retro Billing is used when you go for mass change of Base Pricing Condition Type  in Billing doc(complete) based on Sold-to party & Material for a given range Billing date from & to. To do this you need agreement of your customer, and accordingly you make necessary changes in  Base Pricing Condition Type  condition record. Thus, retro billing is not at all relevant for the requirement.
    Whereas, invoice creation request will have line item, one for Credit and one for Debit. If there are several corrected items, the system cumulates the values of all the items and calculates a total value. And based on your requirement you need to manually change either debit or credit line item amount. Based on the difference of these item the Credit (postive diff) or Debit memo (Negative diff) will be proposed by system. And you can have multiple reference.

  • Error in SO creation

    Hi,
    While creating of sale order I'm getting error as incompletion item 10 - missing data - G/L accoiunt and after going to complete, one window of analysis account determination screen are opened, where precedure is KOFI100 and after selecting condition type for basic price as ZB00 message is displaying as "No G/L account found in Account determination type KOFK".
    I have checked the setting in SPRO at account assignment/costing and all seems are ok.
    Plz guide for rectifying the error.

  • Accounting of POP (advertise) materials

    Dear All,
    We are purchasing advertising materials from outside vendors at manufacturing plant and
    sending these materials to sales offie and then these material are being delivered to the
    customers as free of cost.Right now only purchase activity has been captured in SAP but now
    clent requirement is that we have to distrbute the cost of these advertising material based
    on sales office wise.Plz suggest what is the better way to map this scenario in SAP.

    1. Treat POP material as Non valuated ( UNBW)
    2. Make PO with account assignment category and suitable GL account
    3. At the time of GR , material cost will be posted to the GL ( say marketing expenses)
    4. Qty will be maintained in Storage location
    5. At the time of Billing , add this item as free of cost item and sent to customer

  • Cd amount round up

    Hi,
    We are using ZKTO condition type for payment terms which is assigned with pricing procedure
    as stastical and sub total is mentioned 2 and reqt is 9 and bastype is 11.The requirement is
    that CD amount should be post in G/L with round up value during the F-28 transaction but at presently
    it is coming with two decimal places.Plz advice whether any routine is avalable in to solve
    the matter or how we can do this.

    The objects concerned have to be:
    V_KOND_VEA Maintain condition: Auth. for use/appl./cond.type/table -- (Deals with condition records)
    V_KONH_VKO Condition: Authorization for Sales Organizations
    V_KONH_VKS Condition: Authorization for Condition Types
    But in the standard system VA02 has these objects set to No check in SU24. You may have to modify this to Check/maintain and then maintain the values in the users role. Like you can have:
    Object : V_KONH_VKS Condition: Authorization for Condition Types
    Condition Type: PR00
    Actvt : 03

    In "S_ALR_87012169 - Customer Balances -> Transaction Figures: Account Balance"  can we run this report based on posting date (i.e. from date to date ) and secondly I want to know whether any standard report is available where I can see the Top 100 customers based on the sales transaction and based on the payment collection.

    I've checked the mentioned reports where some problem I am facing like in MCTA or MC+E showing only billed items it is not deducting sale returns and if you want to evaluate based on the year then information will be wrong if one customers sale return is more than his next customer sale.
    Similarly if I run FBL5N for whole year it is taking a long time and sometime also getting timeout.
    Actually this information is required for higher management, they wants to evaluate the dealers based on
    there previous year performance based on billing (net Sales= deducting sale return) and in value (Payment collection) sales office wise andcustomer wise.Plz inform there is any possibility to give them these information from standard SAP reports or we have to customized.
    Similarly another requirement is there we are maintaining customer class "KNA1-KUKLA" for customer A/B/C whether A are getting CD on bills, now report should be based on the payment due date and actual receipt date for A class customer with reflecting the exeeding days also.
    Plz suggest any way if I can solve this from std reports.

  • Sales area error

    Dear All,
    I'm getting error while creating the customer master vide xd01 , All ncessary setting done in SPRO (creation of sales area, assignment of sales office to sales area, defined common divisions & Distribution channels) but in xd01 transaction error is coming "Sales area 1001 10 11 is not defined for customers". I have checked in TVTA table where only 3 fields are updated i.e. sales org, dis. channel & division other fields are blank. Plz guide me what other things are missing.

  • Different pricing procedure in delivery

    Dear All,
    In STO scenario we are sending material from mfg plant to Depots, Sales area defined for STO 1001,20,PP where till now we have used only one pricing procedure in Delivery(NL) & Billing (F8), but due to business requirement we want maintain different pricing procedure for different divisions (02,03,04,05). But due to sales are are same we are not able to determine different pricing procedure in delivery. Plz advice how I can achieve this.

    First of all pricing procedures are determined on the following basis or you can say determination rule
    Sales Area + Customer Pricing Procedure + Document Pricing Procedure=Pricing Procedure
    here document pricing procedure is for the sales document type here you can use delivery document type procedure,which is an indicator i believe is in the document type configuration.

  • MIRO against delivery note

    Hi,
    I want to do the MIRO based on the outbound deliveries created for stock transfer
    process, I'm using the option delivery note for MIRO but system is not permitting and
    an error coming "No (suitable) item found for purchase 0006004520"-"PO item 0006004520
    00010 does not allow invoice receipt". Plz suggest how I do this.Actually my requirement
    is that stock transfer orders are being delivered more than 3-4 times and we can not
    take PO no for MIRO because vendor will be changed in each transaction.Plz advice
    any better solution.

    In case of STO ,
    MIRO for material is done on receiving plant
    while for freight it may be done supplying plant.
    But you make sure that DCGR gets created when you done PGI for your outbound delivery.You can see it fromPO History.
    Then only supplying plant can able to do MIRO against DCGR for freight amount.

    During creation of  STO at item level under delivery TAB "planned delivery time" field is showing with edit mode, I want to activate this field for sale order creation / change also. Plz advice how I can do this.

    This field is laready there in the MRP-2 of the material master. This is used to calculate the no. of days to procure a material/service externally. Why do you want to activate this in sales order.

    Contact your system administrator to have the error analyzed in detail.
    Procedure for System Administration
    Start the Visual Administrator, log on to the SAP J2EE Engine and choose "<J2EE_SID>" ->"Server" -> "Services" -> "Log Viewer".
    The file "defaultTrace.trc" includes detailed information about the error that occurred. In Windows, you can find this file in the Log Viewer under "Cluster <computer name>" -> "Server <server number>" -> "<drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<INSTANCE>\j2ee\cluster\server<NUMBER>\log". ". In Unix, the file is located under "/usr/sap/<SID>/JC<INSTANCE>/j2ee/cluster/server<NUMBER>/log".
    If the file does not include enough detail about the error, you can increase the log level to obtain more information.     This is a configuration issue. All components on the J2EE stack have to
    be on the same SPS level. Please make sure of this as a first step.
    For special requirements of BI with regards SPS levels please see SAP
    Notes 873996 and 1013369.
    Please run the latest version of the support desk tool as per SAP note
    937697 and ensure that there is no error and then check for the issue
    again.
    Otherwise, I suggest you open a BW-BEX-ET-BC msg with SAP.
