Regarding the thread running more than 24 hours

The below is the query executed from oracle side and is running more than 24 hours and not yet over. And multiple threads are running.

The dba saying that the where clause in the above select is not sent to the db2 side so creating a cartesian product and asking us to add something in the where clause.

We cannot create a view in db2 side because of security reasons. I tried to run the query as below.

  • Firefox lags when it is running more than 16 hours

    I usually do not turn off my pc for weeks. In browser I am running about 20-30 tabs at the same time and I do not want to close it till I decide it is not needed anymore. But in firefox I forced to restart it every 10-12 hours as soon as it starts lagging. No other programs on my pc las. The load of my processor is about 30-40 percent and I have more than 30% of my ram free, so it is not the ardware issues. For example, chrome, at the same time has no lags at all with this kinn of usage. I really like firefox more than chrome and would like to use it, so I would be very grateful for your help!
    P.S: There are only 2 addons for ff installed. They are: ABP and FireBug.

    Firebug is notorious for causing problems like you described.
    Disable it when you don't need it or install it in a 2nd Profile. Then you can launch the 2nd Profile separately to use Firebug and not affect what you are doing in the 1st Profile,

  • TS2734 how can i see my find my iphone location when the battery died more than 24 hours ago?

    I think i have lost my phone in the house, but i have looked absolutely everywhere. I know the battery has died as last time i had it (3 days ago) it had 5% battery left. Is there a way of seeing the last known location when it was mpre than 24 hours ago? Please help as dont want to wait for insurance claim and be without a phone for even longer

  • Firefox pauses / stutters frequently after running more than an hour -2

    I'm reposting the question that was accidentally marked as solved. Basically FF (since 3.0 version, and now the latest 3.6) stutters after about 1 hour of use.

    This has happened to me a couple times and i am in a long distance relationship so phone time is really important. Each time the phone has hung up at 4 hours and 2 mminutes. Can this be fixed ? Is this a problem for apple or my network provider ?

    It is likely a cellular provider issue. There are reports of this for many different brands of phones.

    Could any one please suggest us on below issue.
    We have observed that "U.S. Sales Tax Report" Concurrent Program is running for more than 10 hours in R12 Production. The system has been upgraded from 11.5.8 to R12. Earlier in 11i, it was running for 1 hour and post upgrade its running more than 10 hours. As this program is a standard Oracle program, We are taking up this issue with Oracle support. But we wanted to know does anyone has the similar issues faced.

  • Migration Assistant -- stuck at "Inspecting your computer" for more than 3 hours

    I am in a process of setting up a new Mac Mini 2011.
    I have completed the initial setup. Now I am trying to bring over the profiles & files with Migration Assistant from a Windows 7 system.
    On the Mac side, it was able to find my Windows system, but it has been stuck at the "Inspecting Your Computer..."  in "Select items to migrate" screen for more than 3 hours. Is this normal? Should I waiy a biy longer or start over?

    My computers happened the same too. I left the computers for more than 12 hour and did not progress to anything. It only said. "inspecting your computer".

  • Error message that no virtual memory pops up & crashes when application is run for more than 1 hour

    My application uses VISA serial operations. It has arrays to store data collected from various devices. I reinitialise the arrays each time the index reaches 50.
    Data acquisitions is carried out in separate threads by invoking the runVI method.
    When i run the application on Win XP continuaously for more than 1 hour it gives an error message that no more virtual memory to complete the task and the system hangs up.
    I open the serial port only once and close it when the application is terminated. But serial read/write operations are done continuaously
    Is the error caused due to memory leakage? How can i solve the problem. It's very urgent and i shall be thankful if i ge
    t the help.

    Yes, it sounds like a memory leakage (either that or you're trying to run an advanced app on an old computer w/ little memory and a small hard drive).
    Things to try:
    1. Ensure it's only labview, and not say labview and another application interacting. This isn't a likely case, but you never know what people have on their boxes and I've seen some weird things with virus scanners. Hit Ctrl-Shift-Esc to get the task manager. Go to processes and watch the memory consumption (click Memory twice to sort in descending order) of the various processes. If labview keeps rising, you've got a leak.
    2. If only a reasonable amount of memory is being used, double check your page file settings (read virtual memory).
    From the Control Panel
    Select System
    Select
    Advanced Tab
    Under Performance, select the Settings button
    Select Advanced Tab
    Under Virtual Memory, let windows dynamically adjust the page file (and any XP speed tweakers out there can now chime in about how wrong this is. This essentially allows windows to keep upping the virtual memory as needed by various processes.
    3. Find the leak. In LV Tools->Advanced->Profile VIs. Turn on memory stats. Start the profiler. Start your vi. If the vi crashes labview totally, you'll have to keep hitting snapshot to find the leaky vi (the one that's memory keeps growing).
    4. Upload the vi to the forum so we can give it a looksee.

    I have some suggestions. But first, you realize that you have some redundant indexes, right? You have an index on account(account_name) and also account(account_name, account_id), and also account_history(invoice_id) and account_history(invoice_id, adjustment_id). No matter, I will suggest some new composite indexes.
    Also, you do not need two lines for these conditions:
    and round(a.account_balance, 2) > 0
    AND a.account_balance > 0
    You can just use: and a.account_balance >= 0.005

    whole etl load used to complete in 2 hours (as on now siebel data having sample data). since last Friday Change Capture For Siebel OLTP task in DAC execution plan running for more than 10 hours. I am not able to trouble shoot the problem because no log for this task
    what could be the reason for this problem? how can I fix that problem?

    Which ETL is it that is taking the longest (is it an SDE, SIL, PLP?). I have seen someOracle vanilla ETLs coded in a way that is very ineffective. Check the DAC and Informatica logs and find out which mapping it is and where the delay is (e.g. SQL, write to DB..etc).

    I need I query to show all the Concurrent Programs which are attached in Application but not run more than 15 days. Also filter will segregate concurrent Reports and concurrent processes.

    Please clarify are you interested in conc programs/reports which has not been run in last 15 days or the ones which were run only in the first 15 days from creation date.
    I am pasting the base query which gives you the details like concurrent program name, executable name, executable type, and execuation file name ( you may add condition like fcp.enabled_flag = 'Y' for all active programs etc)

    1. total DB size : 600 GB (used)
    2. CPUs: 4 (AIX p5 processors)
    3. RAM : 18 GB
    4. R3trans/Batch processes selected: 5 (each)
    I am able to see the latest entries in log fille under EHPI\abap\tmp.

    As you can see in the logs system does not have enough work processes to do parallel processing. So, it will take time.
    Also how much background work processes your system have ?
