Reimbursement of services not provided

I attempted to go on the $45 month to month plan on July 25th.  The CS rep took my info and charged my debit card $49.28 for the first month, supposedly set me up and gave me instructions on activation.  I followed her instructions, but the activation failed.  I then contacted tech service at the # she provided in case of such occurrence.  While talking with the tech we decided that a better plan for me was to go with the loyalty plan, and was activated successfully on that plan.  I have tried numerous times in these 6 days to contact the right person to reimburse my account for the $49.28 charged to my account that services were not provided.  Every person I have contacted tells me the same thing....."this is not my dept", and transfers me to another person who says the same thing, and transfers me.  I have talked to so many ppl that I am frustrated as hell, and start taking it out on the person I'm talking to next.  I have contacted my bank about these charges, but it was too late as they were already paid.  I just need the correct person to talk to  so that issue is resolved.
Where do I go from here to resolve this and get reimbursed?

Obviously you are not understanding me cause your questions and answers are irrelevant to my issue. However I finally found a customer service rep who looked over my account and understood the problem. My account has now been credited.

  • Service not provided!!!

    I have been unable to use the product I purchased on 21/02/2014. Please help.
    The product is Adobe ExportPDF by my order AD00207706UK.
    No email was sent to me in confirmation and a key to enable me to install the product, and use it.
    I am so disappointed that your company is prompt in taking my money, and not so prompt to provide the service.
    And your "electronic"customer service is opaque...  goes in endless circles, and does not really and ultimately help!!!

    There is no key to use ExportPDF. You just sign on and start using it. What makes you think there is a key - please let us know where there is misleading or unhelpful information.

  • I cancelled my service, was charged for service which was not provided, and I am unable to find a way to dispute or to pay my bill.

    To begin, what ADA-compliant options are available to work with a service representative? I've never found the online chat service support to be available during my waking hours after checking over the last week. I can't find a contact email for support, either. I've been instructed on several occasions that I will need to make a voice call for customer service, but unfortunately, this will not be possible. I will require text-format assistance from customer support to address two issues which I am unable to solve on my own:
    1) I was charged for service following the cancellation of my service; this includes a period following cancellation during which no service was provided.     I am a LONG term Verizon customer and no one is helping.....
    I work in IT, with the Network and Mobility groups, so I know what I am talking about, network access, O/S, bandwidth, etc….
    I changed to a droid Bionic, from my LG (broken).   I started experiencing issues with inability to connect to a solid 4G network. The phone was not updated to Ice Cream Sandwich O/S and tried repeatedly to get update, but no go. Verizon did swap out with another bionic, but still experienced issues with inability to consistently get network access.  I work in a big city, no one else was having issues at my work.
    Husband left for Europe due to a family emergency mid Sept.   FIL was in hospital.  I work and there is a 7 hour time difference.   We both had SKYPE on our phones.  At work, I tried to contact him, using SKYPE.   SKYPE would not connect, due to the phone issue connecting to the network.   I had to call husband directly (international calls) to get updates on the condition of my ill, 96 yo FIL.  
    1.   This was not an issue of an app that did not function and that Verizon does not support.   I did not have access to the network, thus could not use SKYPE to make calls.  This was not a choice to call international.  
    Verizon admitted that it was a phone issue.  Since I am a long term Verizon customer and have insurance on the phone, they tried to give me yet another Bionic 9that would not work).  After much discussion, they sent me a RAZR that was on the updated O/S.
    Up to the 29th of Sept, I was on the Bionic and could not access SKYPE.  Once I transferred over, I could use SKYPE and was not forced by Verizon to make international calls due the lack of network service that I pay for EACH MONTH.
    When I received my bill for Sept, there were hundreds of dollars of additional charges.  
    This was due to the international calling that I was forced to use to check on status of terminally ill 96 yo FIL.
    This was due to the overage of minutes that I had and was never notified of by Verizon, due to the interational calls.
    I have tried to deal with Verizon on eliminating the charges. This is after having to deal with the death and funeral arrangements, service, etc of FIL.  Verizon claims that I made the calls, thus I must pay.   They admitted to it being a Verizon network issue when they traded for the Razr and updated O/S, but still want me to pay hundreds of dollars in extra fees that THEY CAUSED.

    Another thing I notice about your prior post is you say "Verizon claims that I made the calls, thus I must pay." but you also claim to have made the calls yourself, so it isn't necessarily that Verizon "claims" you made the calls, you DID make the calls.
    Finally, I have found myself in a similar situation in the past and most likely in the near future. I also didn't(and don't) expect Verizon to pay for my phone usage during those times.

    I have a question around Enhanced Presence Privacy mode. I understand from the Technet documentation that EPP can only be enabled Globally, at the Site Level or at the User Server Service level. Due to the fact that managing client-side
    EPP settings is not exposed in the Lync Control Panel or Shell the recommendation for enabling EPP for a subset of users is to have a separate pool for those users. 
    I’m working with a customer who needs to deploy EPP for a subset of their users but considering that we’re already planning to deploy a centralised enterprise pool of 4 front end servers they are reticent to deploy another enterprise pool
    to offer their EPP enabled users resiliency. Given that pool pairing only works with enterprise edition to enterprise edition or standard edition to standard edition I came up with the idea of deploying a Survivable Branch Server for the EPP enabled users
    assuming that this new site would provide a target for EPP policies for those users. However, in testing this idea in the lab I’ve found that although I can create a site level policy for the SBS site the users homed on the SBS do not pick up the policy -
    EPP does not work and in the Lync client Status settings the same options are offered that would be offered if EPP was not enabled.
    Questions:
    Is this expected behaviour? I.e. Does an SBS not host sufficient services to provide EPP to users homed on that server, even though it’s technically another site?
    What is meant by the documentation when it talks about assigning the policy to the “User Server Service”? I assume there is only 1 of these services per pool?

    Please try to set a user policy to test if EPP mode works for the branch site users.

    What could cause services not to start up.We couldn't get the any of the Hyperion services to start. Managed to start up Analytic service, but I still can't get the remaining services to start (Hyperion S9 Administration Services & Hyperion S9 Provider Services .
    I dont know what I might be missing

    What is the sequence of services? did you start your services first open ldap, shared services, essbase services, essbase admininstration services, provider services. What is the last thing you do before the services were up and running?

    I have bought Iphone 4 from apple store at Santa clara CA. However now I am in India.  My phone has developed problem and getting switched off at randomly though it is fully charged. The authorised apple service centre is not providing me service as the it is bought in USA. Can anybody help

    That is correct - there is no international warranty.
    Either send it to someone you trust in the US or fly back and have it looked at.

    I get this warning when I run gedit :
    Gtk-WARNING **: Calling Inhibit failed: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.gnome.SessionManager was not provided by any .service files
    gedit works fine but I am just afraid that this might cause other bigger problems .

    If you're running a gnome-session and you get that warning, then something might be wrong, but if you're running gedit without gnome it's kinda obvious why there is no session manager.
    It says it's trying to call the Inhibit method. That's probably to buy some time from the session manager at the end of the session in case there are any unsaved documents (and maybe other user data such as preferences). So if you close gedit yourself (or at least save your changes) before logging out/shutting down, you should be fine. (gedit will probably try to save changes when it gets SIGTERM anyway, but if SIGKILL follows very quickly, that can fail.)

    Hi Forum members,
    We have a client that has intermittent issues with RDS on a 2012 R2 server.
    As an overview of the environment, the client has a single VMWare host support 2 x Windows 2012 R2 VMs one is the File/Print/Email server and the 2nd is the RDS server used to allow the client to run MYOB Enterprise. Both servers have the AD DS role and
    DNS roles amongst others.
    The 1st issue is that the RD Connection Broker shows the error: "The server pool does not match the RD Connection Brokers that are in it. and then "1. Cannot connect to any of the specified RD Connection Broker servers".
    The above issue seems to be caused by the RDMS service not starting. When you attempt to start it, the service stops and the error in the title is logged in the "System" event log. Full transcript below:

    I have been attempting to resolve these errors for some time, without success. I have read the many KBs and forum entries related to the above and applied a number of the suggested fixes, including the one which suggests to add the NT SERVICE\ALL SERVICES
    to the "Logon as a Service" in the "User Rights Assignment" of the "Default Domain Policy" which is linked to the domain level, that both servers are objects of.
    My question to the forum is, can anyone come up with a solution to resolve the above issues and all the RDMS service to start which will then hopefully resolve the broker error?

    Hi David,
    If virtual machines on the server are Windows Server 2012, then it is not supported to install Remote Desktop Connection Broker on a Domain Controller.

    If the VMs are Windows Server 2012 R2, I suggest you install RDS on a separate machine to see if the issue persists.

  • Error While creating ABAP Consumer Service using Provider service  WSDL.

    We are trying to consume service from Provider service.
    Provider service is developed on CE 7.11-NWDS7.11 and published in CE7.11 registry.(used outside in method and implemented in EJB/Deployed/Published/tested) sounds good.
    We are trying to consume in ABAP (ECC 6.0 EHP4 SPS16).
    when we are trying to create service  consumer from se80  selected url :  provider WSDL picked up from from Service registry.
    At the end of wizard its throwing error.
    error description.
    Message Policy in Name space "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/09/policy " is not unique in WSDL.
    Unable to generate proxy.
    Any pointers to resolve this.

    I would suggest to test the service in XML Spy using the same WSDL or the URL of the WSDL. If XML Zpy throws the same error, there could be some problem in the provider service generation itself..!!

    There are many possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Some may not apply to your model. Back up all data before making any changes.
    1. Start with the steps recommended in this support article. Don't skip any of the steps. It's the starting point for further efforts to solve the problem.
    2. Run Software Update and make sure you have a fully up-to-date installation of OS X.
    3. If you've installed an application called "Memory Clean" or any other third-party software that is supposed to "clean" or "purge" memory automatically, remove it according to the developer's instructions and restart. You should do that even if the software is not causing the problem, because it's useless.
    4. Other third-party software that has been reported to interfere with sound output includes "Boom" and "Samsung Kies." If applicable, uninstall according to the developer's instructions (not by dragging something to the Trash.)
    5. If an AirPlay device is selected for sound output from iTunes (or from other applications via third-party software such as "Airfoil"), deselect it.
    6. Launch the application "Audio MIDI Setup" by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search and selecting it in the results (it should be at the top.) Select Built-in Output from the list on the left. If the Mute boxes are checked, uncheck them.
    7. If a red light is visible in the audio-out port when sound should be playing, the internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a mini-stereo jack of the proper size. Inserting any kind of tool in the port may cause damage that won't be covered by your warranty.
    If there's no red light, the switch may still be stuck in the headphone position. Try to free it the same way.
    8. Disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard and mouse, if applicable. If more than one display is connected, disconnect all extra ones. Restart and test.
    9. If you have a MacBook Air, turn off Bluetooth and restart.
    10. Start up in safe mode. Don't log in; just restart as usual when the login screen appears. When you do, make sure the words "Safe Boot" do not appear in the login screen. If they do, the system is still in safe mode and sound won't work.
    11. Reset the NVRAM.
    12. Reset the SMC.
    13. Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Preferences/Audio
    Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
              Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
    from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Restart the computer and empty the Trash. Recreate your settings in the Sound preference pane.
    *If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
    from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
    14. Reinstall OS X after backing up all data.
    15. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store.

    I received a new iPod touch yesterday, and it is now running iOS 5.  I can't get the location services to work from my home.  On my old 2nd generation touch, they work perfectly.  I've check all of my settings regarding the location services and everything is 'on'.

    This for the replies. For what it is worth, I am confident all settings are OK, at least all the obvious ones.  I just cannot see what is missing.  In terms of what is not working, all Apps having a location option / button (Maps, Google Earth, etc) do not provide location.  For example, Maps will reply by showing a "Cannot determine location" message.  The same applies to the two iPads in the house and to whatever iPads enters on my Wi-Fi.
    Ideas?

Verizon Wireless does not have FCC licensing for service in Reeds MO; it would be breaking the law to install our own cell towers and switching stations in the area. Even so, we have agreements with a local provider, which you are evidently using. It is possible that you have poor coverage at your home. If this is the case, it is unfortunate..." Local provider??? US Cellular???? First, your false statements in saying that I am not accurate to say that I cannot be reached by phone are one, subjective (your opinion) and two, inappropriate.
