Release Quantity in ME3S for a Contract

Dear All,
Hii.. Good Morning,
I am facing a problem in contract reporting on Services (ME3S)
I have created a contract and there are two line items 10 and 20. For item 10 there are 20 services. I have released some orders through follow on functions.
But when i am seeing the report in ME3S for that particular service activity no. the quantity released is different from the sum of the quantities of release orders i.e Quantity released is greater than the sum of the quantities of release orders.
Can you guide me in this?? Because i have checked all the tables it is showing as Quantity released is 48000 but sum of the release orders is only 32000.
Please treat this issue as priority
Best regards
Paresh

Hi,
Hope you have checked the details in table level with the data given in ME3S selection screen.
In addition, refer the KBA: 1774908 - Different values between release order and release documentation.
If standard report is still giving wrong value, then you may check for SAP notes (I couldnt find anything relevant) or raise an OSS ticket to SAP.

  • Release orders for value contract

    Hi Folks,
I have question on value contract.
Customer contract is fullfilled by issuing orders against the contract. When a release order is created for the contract, the system automatically updates the released values in the contract. The release order value is calculated from the total of the open order and delivery values, plus the value that has already been billed to the value contract. System checks this value with "Outline agreement target value" in value contract and issues warning or error message depends on configuration settings in value contract item catagory.
We have business scenario where system has to check net value of value contract rather than checking "Outline agrrement target value" in value contract. Because we offer some discounts to customer in value contract thus net value of the contract differs from agreement value. So that system will issue error message when release order value exceeds net value of value contract.
Is there any customizing settings available to meet the requirement?
    Awaiting for your inputs.

    Prabhaharan

    Hi,

  • How to create release order for value contract?

    dear experters,
I create a value contract by T-code:va41, order type"WK1".I set a Assortment module to this order and mateirl "WKM1" to  it.
then I create release order by T-code:va01 with refrence to this value contract, but it set the material "WKM1"  to the sales order, and I can't modify this material! I want to put another material which belong to the assortment module in the value contract. I want to know how.
    thanks.
    Best regards
    lance

    Assortment Module for Value Contracts
This function enables you to define a list of materials that can be released from a value contract. Materials can be assigned to more than one assortment module.
An assortment module is an entry tool and can be called up from the value contract. It is valid for a certain time period.
If you delete a material from the assortment module, to which a value contract refers, you will be unable to release that material.
In the value contract, only materials with the same sales organization and distribution channel as the value contract can be taken from the assortment module. All the other materials in the assortment module are not displayed in the value contract.
To fulfill both these requirements, two types of value contracts are offered in the standard system:
    Value contract type WK 1
You can specify a product hierarchy or a assortment module for value contracts with contract type WK 1. The system will always propose this type of contract, if you want to create a contract for several materials or a certain group of materials. All the materials in the relevant assortment, or belonging to the specified product hierarchy are then relevant for release.
Value contract type WK 2 (material-related)
You can create contracts for one material (usually configurable) with this type of value contract. A software company is an example of where this kind of contract is often used. There, a contract for the value of $500,000 is made with the customer for one specific software product.
You can also agree on the length of the contract for this type. The contract duration can be agreed at item level and can be different from the contract duration specified at header level.
You can store special price agreements for the value contract. These price agreements can then be used at any level. For example, a value contract can contain prices for individual materials, or discounts that are valid for every released material.
    Release Orders
The customer fulfills a contract by issuing orders against the contract. The contract does not contain any exact dates for deliveries, so you need to create a sales order to release against a value contract.
When a release order is created for the contract, the system automatically updates the released values in the contract. The release order value is calculated from the total of the open order and delivery values, plus the value that has already been billed to the value contract.
The system also updates the released value for subsequent changes (for example, overdelivery of contract release, price changes in the billing document, partial deliveries, returns, rejection of order items, cancellation or reversal of orders, deliveries or billing documents).
You can create a release order in any currency. The system automatically converts this currency into the one agreed upon in the value contract on the pricing date for the contract release order.
Creating Assortment Modules for Value Contracts
    Procedure
To create an assortment module, proceed as follows:
    1. From the initial screen choose Logistics >Sales and Distribution >Master data.
    2.Choose Products >Value contract - Assortment module > Create.
You will then be in the Create assortment module: Initial Screen.
Module type 6 is defined for the value contract.
    3. For external number assignment, enter a module number.
You can then use existing modules as a reference by entering the name of the module under reference.
    4. Choose Enter.
    5. Enter a short description for the module.
    6. Enter a validity period for the product proposal.
During a release, the system checks if the release date lies within the validity period.
    7. Create the materials that you wish to assign as items to a module.
You can display a list of materials as a product proposal, which you can then copy into the assortment module. To do this, choose Suggest material, enter the selection criteria in the subsequent screen and copy the selected materials to the items. Use Edit > Delete item to delete the materials that you do not want to copy to the assortment module.
    8.Save your entries.
Also Please check the copy control in VTAA

  • Not recalculate value "Release Quantity" in a Quantity Contract

Hi all, did you get a solution for this issue? In a quantity contract, for an item we defined the target quantity = 72 and linked this item to 2 Service Entry Sheets, each one with entered quantity = 36, and then were released. After that, for one of this Service Entry Sheet  the release was reset and all items were deleted.  However, the value for the field "Release Quantity" in the contract doesnu2019t was recalculated. The value continue being = 72, and should be 36. Therefore, at the time to try to create another Service Entry Sheet appears the error "The entered quantity exceeds the target value in the contract".
Thanks in advanced for you help.

  • How to configure release procedure for rate contracts release

    Dear all,
How to configure release procedure for rate  contract following are the requirements
    they are two release codes c1 & c2 <=100000,>=100000
if  c1 is not there c2 has to be approved
Change in the value of the rate contract contract
Change in the validity of the rate contract
Addition of deletion of line items
While using a non u2013 released rate contract in the PO an error message should shoot out.
Also the logic should be changed while using the rate contract in the PO.
The usage of the rate contract should be till the validity of the rate contract. i.e. the measurement should be end date of the rate contract and the PO creation date and not the delivery date of the PO. &
It should be possible to refer existing valid rate contracts in purchase orders.
    Regards,
    bhaskar

    Hi,
In SAP rate contract is known as value contract denoted with wk. The release procedure for rate contract is same as that of other contracts and scheduling agreements. The tables  for contracts will vary with SA (Scheduling agreement) .You may try and maintain condition records based on the customer combination and maintian the validity date of condition records as per your requirement. For contract and PO will have the same header/item table as EKKO/EKPO, and the release
class in standard is the same FRG_EKKO, you can use the same for contract.
To distinguish if it's a contract or PO, EKKO-BSART can be used.
For contract EKKO-BSART will be MK or WK, while PO will have NB/UB etc..
You can restrict the document type to set up the release strategy for only contract.
Of cause, you can also create your own release class Z* for contract copying standard
one FRG_EKKO via CL01/Class type 032, and then assign the class Z* to customizing:
    OLME:
    -> contract
    ->Release Procedure for Contracts
    ->Define Release Procedure for Contracts
    ->Release Groups
If you have already created the PO release class.
Assign a new chracteristic of Document Category -BSTYP
Please check below link for detailed release procedure. I hope this wil help you out .Thanking you.

  • Problem when changing the target quantity for a contract

    Hello,
I have a problem when i try to change the target quantity for a contract through the BAPI 'BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE'.
I filled the tables 'item' and 'itemx' with new values. the BAPI 'BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE' returns no error, but after using the BAPI 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' I get an info message from SAP and the modification does not pass.
In debugger I could locate the error. In fact, the appeal of FM 'ME_UPDATE_DOCUMENT is done with a table XEKKN with the new values of the quantity and a KZ code equal to ' I ' to insert, then it must have the value ' U 'for update .
Is someone can help me to solve this problem?
    Thank you in advance.

Have you tried selecting the page, and then changing the theme directly on that page?

  • ERP release for Central Contract Management with SRM 7.0 EhP 1

    Hi all,
i would like to have clarification with ERP and SRM release combinations regarding SRM 7.0 EhP1.
Indeed, the "Software Component Matrix for SAP SRM 7.0 EHP1", for Operational Contract Management, tells 'EHP 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 required'.
Moreover, in RKT dealing with SRM EhP1 delta overview, ERP 6.0 with EhP5 is mandatory for an upgrade to SRM7.01.
Nevertheless, i would like to have confirmation regarding this point.
We do not want to use PI to execute the Enterprise Services for CCM. So, we intend to switch BF SRM_WSRM_1 on.
But on the ERP side (EhP5), the only BF dealing with Contract Management is LOG_MM_P2PSE_2 which description is about Service Procurement (and more exactly for item hierarchies).
Does it mean we can use SRM 7.01 with ERP 6.0 EhP4 and without PI but only if we do not use Central Contracts with service hierarchies ?
    Thank you for your help.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

    Hi Laurent,
    Yes.
When Central contract was designed in SRM 7.0 with ERP EhP4, it was designed with no service hierarchy. But in SRM 7.01 Central contral was enhanced to handle service hierarchy and it works with ERP EhP5. The problem is when we have SRM 7.01 and ERP EhP4. To handle this complication SRM 7.01 was designed to send flat service lines to EhP4 and lower release even though Central contract in SRM has service hierarchy. So while transfering to ERP EhP4 system in standard, all outlines are not consider for transfer and only service lines (Functional items) are transferred to ERP. To do so user needs to maintain the backend destination information of the connected backend system in table BBP_BACKEND_DEST via SM30 transaction with correct system type (for EhP4 system it will be ERP_4.0 and for EhP5 ERP_5.0). SAP Standard program checks this while XML generation for transfer and if system type is ERP_4.0 system it removes all outlines from temp table before generating the XML data. When it is done, ERP has only service lines in its XML and it does the manupulation to create the replication of central contract.
Master Guide (Including Upgrade Information) - SAP SRM 7.01 states:
"The use of SAP NetWeaver PI is optional but it is required for outbound XML-based messaging or for connecting non-SAP planning or execution systems."
So service hierarchy is possible in SRM 7.01 and ECC 6.04 but only with PI. For other CCM functionalities, SRM 7.01 and ECC 6.04 without PI works fine.
    Best regards,
    Christian Zeuch

  • CRM Channel Managment - released quantity update in contract

In the channel management , the claims are created throught the transaction cms_rtcm.
Which should finally update the released quantity in the contract.?
Now in this process I see only CMS table CMSD_CNT_PRD_XT getting updated. And I donot find any means by which the CRM table CRMD_CUMULATED_I is updated,
from which the released quantity is obtained.
Can anybody tell me how is the released quantity updated in this scenario?
    Thanks in advance

Try modifying the qty thru FM CRM_SCHEDLIN_PUT_OB.
    This should solve the issue.

  • Release a production  order for partial quantity

    Hi gurus,
Can you please tell me how can i release a production  order for partial quantity without splitting the order?
    Regards
    Rajib Pathak

    Dear,
Best way you can conver the planned order to production oreder in partial in CO40.
Or from MD04 screen click the planned order, choose pratial release and enter the quantity you want to release and press Generate button. the order gets converted to production orders of yr specified quantity and rest planned order remains for further processing.
    Or,
    Create order
    Goto operation overview
Select the operation and click on release button...which will release the opration alone instead of releasing the order. If you release the order, then all the eperatios are released onec for all.
If you go for operation release...you can release operation by operation, which will be partial release of order at header level.
at operation level - partial release
    Hope it will help you.

  • Release Order for Value Contract WK1

i dont want to create sales order with referance to contract.
    i have done below.
    1. i created assortment module in wsv2 tcode for value contract
    2. i created value conract (type WK1) in va41 tcode
    3. i created (messages about outline agreement) "check at item level and copy if unique" sales doc type OR in tcode vov8
so, when i created a sales order (OR) without referance to value contract, i want the sales order to find the related contract at item level and copy
but sales order cant find the material in the assortment module that i created in contract type wk1.
    where am i doing wrong?
Edited by: manas han on Jul 6, 2010 11:14 PM

    Hi,
Firstly, I assume you have properly setup all the copy control of of the document types you want to use and also properly defined the document types and item categories you want to use.
Maybe you want to check/try the following: -
    1. Check the validity of the assortment module you have created.
    2. Try to create the assortment module again using tcode WSO1.
    3. In your Order Type "WK1" and under the "Contract", maybe include the subsequent Order = OR
    4. Check that your material has the product hierarchy properly setup?
    5. Finally, try to use indicator "B: check at item level" instead of "D: check at item level and copy if unique". You would not get a dialog box in OR if you use indicator D as it will automatically copy to the OR if there is exactly one reference document created.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

  • MIGO for schedule lines against total released quantity

    Hi Gurus,
Is there any standard solution (or user exit) available, so that  MIGO can be performed against total released quantity of schedule lines (Scheduling Agreement) in ME84?
Currently, MIGO can only be performed once the "Proposed All Item" is ticked, and the quantity proposed is blanked.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
Yes I have created Scheduling agreement and maintain schedule lines with ME38 and also release schedule lines with ME84 transaction.
I'm able to do GR, but I wonder if it possible to see all relevant (not yet received) schedule lines (as you can see in ME38 transaction with delicery date) in MIGO transaction? Now I can only see quantity summary of the schedule lines, which are not yet received.
