Remote camera

Someone can help me ?
Everytime I turn on my toshiba from sleep I have  a window poping up from remote camera and blue tooth camera searching for a camera .
I have tried to dowload the software for my camera canon witch didn't work and now I am stuck with this window .It's anoying .How could I get rid of it ?
thank you

You should be able to disable it using MSCONFIG.
Once it's disabled you might want to uninstall it
using add/remove programs. You can use
CCleaner to remove the registry entry that
might be left on the system.

  • Remote Camera Control and astrophotography for Sony A7(X) and Sony A6000

Hello, Sony makes the best sensors, no doubt about it. Sony makes the best hybryd cameras, that's why i bought a Sony camera BUT ... Astrophotographers are deeply looking at Sony 's camera (especially A7S) because of their astrophotography capabilities but there is a HUGE problem : no software allow BULB mode command, which is very important for astrophotographers. Most of time, astrophotography is some thing like that : 30 pictures, 5 minutes exposure for each picture and we have to add dark frames, flat frames, offset frames and so on. So, if Sony makes a software like Remote Camera Control, why does Sony not include long exposure (over 30s) control in this software ? So come on Mr Sony, don't let Canon leading astrophotographers. Please, add long exposure in your softwares !! Many thanks considering my demand.

I'm going to add that this should be available for ANY alpha series camera that has a bulb mode function in manual control.   This includes ,for example, the a5100.

  • Remote Camera Trigger

I spoke with some Adobe LR staff in Las Vegas at Photoshop World, and inquired about a remote camera trigger for LR. I posted frequently during the LR Beta for this very option.
Phase One makes C1-Pro, the digital download and viewing software mandated by every art director I know. Lightroom is an exceptional package and years ahead of C1-Pro. But Light Room cannot trigger a tethered digital camera release. I have been told by Adobe staff that one of the problems is the huge number of release profiles that would be necessary, BUT LR 2 already has the majority of these camera profiles in the setup.
If Adobe could add this function, I believe that C1-Pro would have to fold its tent.

    > BUT LR 2 already has the majority of these camera profiles in the setup.
You are confusing the "Camera Color Profile" with the hardware communications protocol which will vary based on the OS and the camera maker. I should be noted that Camera Raw/Lightroom supports over 180 cameras with the raw files and color profiles. If you compare and contrast that with the numbers of cameras and manufactures that Phase One supports, you'll see that Capture 1 supports a small subset of total cameras out there.
As it relates to camera communications and control of the camera through Lightroom, that's a very different proposition than merely supporting the raw files. Each OS has different protocols and each camera maker does as well. To expect Lightroom to be able to control all of the functions of the camera (and if not all functions, what subset of functions would be a minimal subset?) becomes are very substantial engineering effort.
As it stands now, Lightroom already can work with the camera makers control software and auto-import from wherever the camera maker's software writes the file. This process relies upon the camera makers' control software and reduces Lightroom's area of responsibilities...you would have to make a far stronger use case that Lightroom should duplicate the work the camera makers' software is already doing. Otherwise, the use case that "it would be nice" isn't a strong enough argument.
Phase One's Capture 1 started life off as a camera control software for the Phase One camera backs...so they are already a camera controller. However, using their software to control non-Phase backs or cameras is very limited. As far as I know, you only get the ability to "click the shutter" which for me is not nearly enough. Using Canon's utility for example, I can set F stop, shutter speed, ISO and click the shutter. Merely clicking the shutter from within Lightroom would be a big step down in functionality if that's all Lightroom could do.
    >If Adobe could add this function, I believe that C1-Pro would have to fold its tent.
Having Phase One fold it's "tent" is not really a goal of Lightroom. Phase One sells really great camera backs and regardless of what Lightroom may or may not do, Phase one's business will probably continue as long as people are buying Phase One backs. It's really not Adobe's nor Lightroom's goal to drive Phase One out of the biz...

  • Nokia PT-6 Remote Camera

Could someone from Nokia tell me why this product is no longer being supported but still advertised and sold worldwide.
    1) Nokia have not bothered to rewrite the phone software for Symbian Series 3 software so it cannot be used on their latest phones.
    2) They have now also pulled the remote cam software from their site and I can no longer download the software to my phone.
    3) the software download directly from the Remote Camera to the phone displays a security error after the latest firmware update on my old N70 and refuses to install.
CAN NOKIA PLEASE ADDRESS THESE ISSUES - THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE THAT USE THIS COOL CAMERA FOR SECURITY PURPOSES

You have to re-write your own versions of the Software or buy

  • How to solve this problem, pls help when I try to see remote camera system from home."Dual streaming is required for HTML viewing"

How to solve this problem, pls help when, I try to see remote camera system(spec dvr) from home. The Error I get is "Dual streaming is required for HTML viewing"

I had the same probelm and found that the problem lies with 64bit programs such as safari and microsoft internet explorer. I have resolved the issue on my PC based server by using a 32 bit ie and same on my mac by using the same running windows under parallels.
So far the problem with the 64 bit side of it is still to be resolved.
Hope this helps and gets you guys up and running until suchtime a 64 bit solution is found.

  • Can I use iSight as a remote camera?

I'd like to use iSight as a remote camera and record the video to a miniDV camera in a safer location.
I don't have a nearby Applestore to go check this idea out, does anyone know if it's possible? I have a powered FW hub, so I can power the iSight w/o a computer (I think)

You're welcome, Mark. Have you driven an iSight from a Dazzle before, or do you know someone who has?No.
Although I have no technical data to quote that proves this, based on reports posted in Apple Discussions, I believe that iSight is less protected against shock, vibration, dust, and humidity than my "walking-around" cameras.
I use a camcorder or the movie setting on my digital still camera for recording movie clips when I will be moving the camera. I do not mean to imply that iSight is inordinately delicate, merely that it is not as shock resistant as cameras designed to be carried. I would be surprised if iSight would withstand the rigors of aerobatics.
Based on what you want to do, iSight's seemingly modest shock tolerance, and the price of GL2s, I would look for a device more like the sports camcorder mentioned earlier.
Perhaps others can offer some first-hand experience that will be relevant to what you want to do.

  • Airport extreme (UFO) used for bridge for remote camera system.

Where do I start! This could be a whole page of frustrated user set up of my APE.
Anyhow, after several hours of trying to get it to work, I'l give a quick summary of what I'm trying to accomplish.
What I Have : Airport extreme (square) base station running B/G specs (universal for all my computers)
Airport extreme ( UFO ), trying to use as a remote bridge for my video surveillance system in my basement.
What I want to do : Make the APE UFO talk to the APE square to send signal from my remote camera system to my APE square in my office.
Seems like it should be simple enough, however, I'm beyond myself at this point in trying to make it work. Maybe my settings are wrong on one, or even both of the APE's.
Port forwarding? Could I be missing a important step here?
Any thoughts, or step by step walk through would be very much appreciated.

You'll need to create a "static WDS" arrangement. To do that, you'll first need to note the MAC addresses ("AirPort IDs") of each station. Launch AirPort Utility, enter "manual setup" mode for the square APE, then hold down an "option" key while you pull down the "Wireless Mode" list under the AirPort/Wireless panel. Pick the choice to "Participate in a WDS network". Fill in the details, declaring the square APE to be the "WDS Main" and the AirPort ID of the UFO station in the WDS Remote" list. Save the configuration. Now use AirPort Utility on the "UFO" APE. (You may need to connect to it with an Ethernet cable to see it.) Set the "Wireless Mode" the same, declaring the base station as a remote station. Be sure to use identical values for network name, wireless security method, network password, band, and channel on both stations.

  • Remote camera question

Not sure how to do this of if it can be done.
I'd like to be able to use a remote wireless camera paired with either my iBookG4 or PBookG4 and be able to access the camera's lens from a remote location online. In other words, if I have the remote targeting a certain area of my home while I'm not there, can I use my other laptop for viewing???
    Mucho thanks,
    Carolyn

Yes, presuming that the camera either can connect directly to a network or that it's connected to a computer with appropriate webcam-type software.
You might find this CNET article helpful.
    Cheers.

  • Live streaming with multiple remote cameras?

look up lts security, i found it as a easy, high quality, low cost,  and great solution

I didn't see any discussions on SpiceWorks that covered this question. I'm involved in live streaming of my church's services, and we got hit by lightening 2 weeks ago. We had 3 cameras which were able to be remotely controlled by 1 Telemetrics box, and which sent video feed into a digital video mixer. Well, one of the cameras and the remote control box have died, so we are looking to replace the setup with better equipment. I'm able to run the equipment, and even troubleshoot it to an extent, but have no idea what's even out there. Does anyone have any recommendations on a setup for at least 3 remotely controllable (pan/tilt/zoom) HD cameras? The remote control could be either hardware or software based. I have no idea how much the church could budget for a new system, so a range of low-high cost options would be ideal for me to...

  • GoPro HD - Why is it not possible to use a GoPro as an external/remote camera on my iPhone?

If I could cable a GoPro Hero HD camera to my iPhone, why would I be unable to tell my iPhone 4 to use it as an external video camera and video source? Or any USB camera for that matter?
    Why is this not possible?
    Ian

There is no USB camera driver in iOS.
For security reasons, none can be added by third parties.
If they wanted you to use it, the manufacturer would write an app for that.

If you google ipad payg sim in France you will get some options
Normally you need to be in the country to buy a sim ,think AT&T outside US
    just doesn't happen.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1937
look at France on this you will see the supported carriers in France
just need one of  their stores and an iPad data micro sim
I have seen one posting suggesting sims are available in Tabacs etc
but you do need a data only sim so start with the french approved carriers
and have a look at this thread

  • How can I use a iPhone as a remote intervalometer/web camera?

Hey everyone.. got a question to throw out there and hopefully greater minds than mine will come up with an answer!
I'm part of a model aircraft flying club and our airstrips/fields are quite isolated and remote... we have no mains electric power or telephone land-lines. What i'm after is a solution to getting a series of still images (snap-shots) of the clubs airfield on to the clubs website... remotely. I know there are a few apps out there that will allow a iPhone to be used as a remote camera, and you then log into a website to view the images, but all seem to fall short on some specific critera I require. Like I said, the clubs club-house (shipping container) as no power, so the phone will have to be eventually powered from a larger battery source... like a mobile-home leisure battery, and then conected to the internet using either a data-only sim card in the phone or using a mifi... that bit is sorted! What is the problem I so need help with is; I need to set the iPhone to shoot stills only, say at a rate of 1 image every 15 mins and then upload them to a web server/website, also only to take the pics between set times of the day... afterall it's pointless taking pics in the dark, and also that'll use up data. I've had a look at apps such as 'Manything' and 'Presence' and also done a trawl on the web to see if a solution is available, but i've drawn a blank so far.
    Any body able to help?

If you are referring to an Apple TV or iTunes remote control then download the "Remote" app from the app store.
If you are referring to a remote control for your TV, Cable box, DVD Player etc then you cannot use your iPhone as a remote for these things unless they are wifi connected and have a remote control app on the app store.
