Remote folder change and links (was HELP!!! :) with dreamweaver)

recently our remote site changed folders - not sure why that happened, but does this mean all of my links are broken and is there an easy way to update the location of all the links? i have no clue what i am doing right now, but i dont think it should be this difficult - i appreciate any and all feedback!

yes, but i would rather not post on here to the world that there's an issue going on with my site.
what happens then, im using .php files.
so i have a login to the "back end" of the server. i created a master sheet and converted it from .xls to .htm. then i renamed it to .php added the logon settings to the top of the spreadsheet, then there are 2 links in the sheet per line. the link should ask you to download the file, but instead it takes you out of the site back to the home page. im filling in for the original creator, but the creator is not readily available do to unforseen circumstances.
does any of this make sense?

I don't know if this update involved rewwriting the entire operating system whereby you essentially transferred the software from one system to another, but if so, then you need to uninstall and reinstall the software and reactivate it using your serial number.

You should be able to use the battery if you get a car type charger which recharges mobile devices.
The full size iPads use a 10-12W charger, whereas the mini uses a 5W charger. Many car chargers only supply 5W. But at 5W, the car charger should give you some extra time on your iPad. It would be best to use a 10-12W car charger.

I have eclipse project contains 2 files, file1.dsl and file2.dsl, you can see the contents of the files below.
file1.dsl contains some statements as shown below and file2.dsl contains the declarations of the variables. (like in C++ or Java we have declarations and usage)
At this step file1.dsl and file2.dsl will be parsed successfully without any errors.
Lets imagine that we will delete this project and will create another one and the new project will contain only file1.dsl (which contains the usage)
At this step this file (file1.dsl) will contains some errors after parsing it, because we are using variables without declarations.
So what i need is to parse the content of file2.dsl directly without adding this file to the project.
I need to add the content of file2.dsl directly as a string in the code and parse it. just like that ( "int a;int b;" )
And link file1.dsl with the model generated after parsing my string

I have 2 servers connected over a low speed wan and we're running SQL Server 2008 with Merge replication.
At the subscriber, sometimes when attempting to insert new rows, I get this error:

Also, whenever this error occurs it automatically rolls back the existing transaction
I am using DataTables and TableAdapters to

What I have checked:
the database log file size is below 50Mb
Checked the source code for Zombie transactions (since I wasn't able to retrieve the actual error at the beginning)
Checked the connection between the two servers and found it congested

How to avoid this behavior and why it's occurring at first place?
Why it's cancelling the open transaction?

My BT nightmare - And I was only with them for aro...

This post is a rant at how appalling I have found BT customer services, and I have only been a customer for 2 ½ days!
I placed my order around the end of January for BT Infinity & BT telephone line, I was to be transferring over from Sky. Anyway, I received an activation date of the 16 Feb 2015 and a few days before this I received the HH5.
So late on Sunday 15 Feb I realised that I did not know what time the BT engineer would be arriving so I got onto BT live support and discovered that there would be no engineer visit, I would just connect up the HH5 and the Infinity would be ready a few hours after BT take over my line from Sky. Great, as I had already booked a day off work I figured I would make the most of it so I spent the day playing on my Playstation waiting for the infinity to start working.
Well my Sky internet went off at about 9am, this was the time my wife tried to dial up her works remote connection. No worries, I connected the HH5 and told her that it would be active in about 2 hours (It states this on the HH5 box). Well it didn’t activate and my wife had to tether her mobile to her laptop so she could work. Kinda sucked but there we go these things happen, after all BT said on the order tracking that it could be up to midnight before it activated. Well midnight came & went and it was still not activated.
I should also mention that I run several online shop’s all of which have had to be closed since Monday 16 Feb as a cost of several hundreds of pounds lost each day my internet was off.
So Tuesday 17 Feb I contact BT via live chat and get passed from pillar to post and eventually an Indian lady calls me and says Infinity will be active by 16 Feb at midnight, Ummm yeah that was like 10 hours ago as it is now 10am on Tuesday morning. She then started saying something an all I could understand was the word ‘engineer’ and that she promised the Infinity would be active by midnight on the 17 Feb.
Well you guessed it, midnight on the 17 Feb came & went and Infinity was still not active.
So today Wednesday 18 Feb, day three of my online shops being turned off at about a loss of £900 in turnover and my wife racking up a huge bill tethering her mobile to her laptop so she could be able to work. I again contact BT via live chat and again get passed around several departments until a lovely lady (cough cough) who appeared to take great delight in disconnecting our chat before I had finished asking questions.
Anyway, this lovely lady eventually told there was a routing problem and that BT would have an update – An update, not a resolution but an update on the 24 Feb, 6 days time - During this time I would stand to lose about £2000.00 in online shop sales not to mention the huge bill my wife is running up on her mobile by tethering it to her laptop.
Surely, this two week wait between ordering Infinity and it going live BT Openreach should be making sure everything is actually working at the exchange/cabinet so on the go live date it actually goes live. And the go live date does not mean we will see if it works date.
I told the BT support girl that this time scale was completely unacceptable and I must cancel my order immediately as I need to get internet access. No problem she said I can cancel it now, should she proceed? Yes I said please do. There was a long pause and she came back on to the chat to say it had been cancelled. Great I thought…..
I then said that I presume I will not be charged for the cancellation and she replied that I had two weeks to cancel after I had placed the order. What the heck, how is that fair? I placed the order about 18 days ago and BT have failed to provide the service. How the hell am I supposed to know that that BT could not provide infinity to me until these two weeks after my initial order has passed?
Surely this has to be some breach of the distance selling regulations? When I sell something online the customer has 30 days AFTER receipt of the goods to decide if they want to keep them. If I was to follow BT’s cancellation policy then I would only allow my customers to change their minds after I posted and before they received the goods…. This type of cancellation policy to totally unacceptable if you ask me.
Anyway, the BT chat girl then say that my line will be gone by tomorrow (19 Feb) and everything will be cancelled. Again great I thought, I can get back on to Sky and get them to supply ADSL again. Then it occurred to me, if BT are ceasing my order my line will go dead. I pressed the BT chat girl about this and she then admitted that yes, the line will be ceased and I would probably have to pay to get it reconnected! WTF – BT have caused all these issues and are quite happy to totally drop me in the dodo and they really don’t give a toss about their customers.
I then asked the BT girl about the potential to recover loss of earnings from BT at this point she disconnected me and that was the end of that.
So it remains to see if I will be charged for a service I have not received but I for one will never ever use BT for any of my services in the future.
Now, later that day I contacted Sky via live chat whilst I was out on a job and they were extremely helpful. At one point my laptop did a restart and lost the chat with Sky just as I was making progress with my internet issue, I couldn’t believe it but before my laptop had restarted the Sky rep I was chatting to called me up on my mobile! Awesome.
She then proceeded to see what she could do to get my phone number & line back from BT and she said the system was letting her pull it back across, this is great as I won’t have to pay a reconnection fee and my landline number stays the same.
But that is not all, she went on to say that I also qualified for 12 months free Sky unlimited internet (ADSL – the same package that I was on before) she did not know how but something to do with BT taking the line away from Sky and then her puling it back across. Result!
She then said that it could take up to two weeks to get the ADSL back on my phone line, bit of a bummer I thought but it was my fault really for trusting BT to get me up & running when they said they would. But she then proceeded to tell me that she would be crediting my Sky account with £25 so I could go out and buy an internet dongle so I could get back online and open up my online shops (I was going to do this anyway but Sky have said they will pay for it!)
So there we go, just look at the difference in customer support between BT and Sky.
I wish I had never tried to move to BT and I cannot believe what an incompetent company they are and the contempt they treat their customers with.
BT sucks if you ask me!

As you are a business user, perhaps you should post your comments on the BT Business forum at http://business.forums.bt.com/
BT do not permit you to use a residential account to run a business anyway, as its against their T&Cs.
BT Business broadband has a proper SLA, and compensation arrangements on certain packages.
It may be wise to see what Sky say about business usage, and their compensation arrangements.
As both BT and Sky use the Openreach network, that is where any future failures ar most likely to be.

Muse and the beyond annoying and awkward menus help with French titles with accents that don't work?

I am doing a French/English site. The only way I can do this is do two sites and then do creative linking. That sucks. Go Live allowed me to have as many pages as I wanted and Menu Machine worked pretty decently as it allowed me to have different menus so a bilingual site was a piece of cake. Now I have to do two different sites and the problem is some of the page names in french have accents as needed in that language. The village idiots at adobe did not take that into account and now of couse I have an issue and will need to create navigation for the french elsewhere and import as a graphic. This is beyond stupid. Anybody have a solution. Adobe told me too bad so sad the software is in its' infancy. Well then why the hell did they get rid of Golive which worked well for designers. Because Muse is so dumbed down I am not able to do anything about the menus as the menus are dictated by the page names. If you decide to do a manual menu you can not have just words with state changes as the bloody menus sytem will not allow that. The design requires just the words having state changes this is not abnormal. REALLY. I am beyond frustrated and pissed off and equally pissed off Adobe hangs us out to dry not even having phone contact just some dudes in Inia on the chat which sucked. Any solutions? Anybody at Adobe actually understand this is a problem and might suggest it will be fixed in updates but in the meantime help me solve th eproblem easily. I can live without stupid scrolling I would rather have solid software that is easy to use and some degree of fleixibility if you are a seasoned designer who does a lot of web. But dumbed down for the folks who just want to do a simple site. Yikes this is frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

In Page Properties you can independently set the page name (used in menu widgets), the page title (displayed in the browser tab) and the file name for the .html file for the page.
To create a menu where only the appearance of the text change across states:
1) select a menu item
2) select each state in the State panel and click the trash can to clear all pre-existing state-specific formating
3) choose the Normal state and set all the text formatting that will be the same across all states
4) select mouse down, roll over or active state
4) set the text properties you want for that state in the Text Panel
5) repeat for the other two states
6) you may want to set the fill and stroke on the menu item Normal state to none, so only the text of the menu items is visible
The automatic "All Pages" and "Top Level" pages menu functionality is currently limited to being site-wide, so for the multi-lingual site you describe your choices are to have one automatic and one manual menu, two manual menus, or create two sites. It depends on the size of your site, the complexity of your menu and your personal preference which is best for your case.
If accents are not being preserved through your workflow, please share:
1) URL for an example page that demonstrates mangled accents
2) How you're uploading your site? Publish to BC? File > Upload to FTP Host? Export and external FTP client?
3) If you're not hosting with Adobe (BC), who's your hosting provider.
If accents are not being preserved that generally indicates a problem with how the files are being transferred to the server and/or a problem with how the server is configured. The output of Muse fully supports accented characters throughout the workflow.
Many members of the user community are active here, along with the technical support team and several members of the development team, like myself. We generally respond most effectively to clear questions with screenshots, URLs of example page, etc.

How to pop up "save" and "open" window - Help with construct xml

In my report there is a column link which is pointing to another HTML page that has xml data displayed in a textarea field. So when user clicks on the column link, he gets to directed to the page that have the xml data in text format.
My question is, how can i make the xml data display as a file, so when the user clicks on the column link, a window with "save" and "open" will pop up so the user can save the xml data as a file?
Has anyone done something similar like this? any help is appreciated!

I've just came on board from Andriod and need massive help with the Contacts application any one out there willing to help the 'noob'?

I had the folks at the store port over all of my contacts from my old
ratty Andriod phone to my new shiny iPhone.
however all 200+ of my contacts sort of "shook" out,
meaning say John Smith, on my old phone,
had in my contacts the following:
John Smith
123 Main St. Anytown, Anystate USA
555-826-4879 home
555-799-4247 cell
[email protected]
johnsmith@facebook
all nice and neat on my andriod but when it ported over
all that information was just scattered all over my contacts sort of like:
john smith, smith john
john smith 123 main st. etc.
johhn smith home 555 etc.
john smith cell 555 etc.
john smith johnsmith@ etc.
etc.
so for all those 200+ contacts in my phone, I've got a zillion of them now...
so I'd like to get this all back in order before I and Siri explode.
I know nothing, and I know even less about outlook and the sort.
But I do know I am in Dire need of help with this... I figured that eveything else
involving iphones and apple in general was supposed to be cake but it seems
like this is the only thing that isn't cake at all... unless, I'm just a right idiot. (which is possible, hence spelling and grammatical issues).

I believe I've tried to sync it with google, but it didn't seem to take
muchless take my calender. it seems to favor my facebook calender
more over my google calender, but Siri seems to be helping me re-write
it...but that's not the game here, it's the contacts. I've tried to export
the cvp (??) list and import it into my iTunes account. However, It only
doubled my issue because it didn't over write my existing contacts.
