Rental Billing for Consignment fillup.

Hi Gurus ,
There is a scenario in a consignment process for which i need help
1) I am creating a consignment process where the consignment fill-up requires to be coupled with rental billing.  In such a case whenever i am doing a consignment fill up for the customer i charge a rent for it  till the time the consignment issue does not happen .
What i have done :
a) For consignment fill up i have used the document type KB and copied it and used F2 for order related billing  in the new copied document
b) And also used the item category KBN copied it and created a new on.
c) created a rental billing plan
d) Assigned it to sales document.
No after i create the order and use VF04 to generate the bill it says bill not generated and when i go to logs it reads that item category and document cannot be invoiced with billing type F2 .
I dont understand the reason why as i have made all the configurationd .
Request you to please help me
Regards
zahid

Hi Zahid,
I hope whenever you want to rent out the material / product it is for some period or it should have some time limit. - correct me if I am wrong.
so it is like a contract for the rent out the product.
If it is so, I would like to suggest you to create a contact for rental and do the contact related billing.
and use the Consignment document types KB and KA for keeping a tract of material lying with the customer.

Pankaj

  • Schedule Lines not confirmed for Consignment Fillup

    Hi
I created Consignment Fillup, Schedule lines are not confirmed, even though stock is available in MMBE.
Material per batch stock is available
Help me out in this issue
    Regrds
    Srinivas

Check what schedule line category is flowing.  I believe it should have been E1 and in VOV6, for this schedule line category, the box "Availability" is checked.  Next go to material master and check whether the availability check is either 01 or 02 is maintained.

  • PR00 not changeable mode in consignment Fillup after billing

    Dear Friends/SAP gurus,
    As u know,
    In Domestic Sales order processing,
ORDER>DELIVERY->BILLING/INVOICE. And once the billing is over, Sales order gets automatically updated and PR00 price condition type at item level will become GREY(No changes can be done after Billing)
But in Consignment sales process(1st step-Consignment Fill-Up) ORDER>DELIVERY>PROFORMA BILLING. As this is not the original Bill, PR00 price condition type in SALES ORDER will be in OPEN MODE( can be changeable)
But as per my client's requirement, even in Consignment Fillup, after creating PROFORMA billing, sales order should ger updated and PR00 price condition type should become GERY(NOT CHANGEABLE MODE).
    we are using PR00---MANUAL CONDITION
kindly help in this regards...points asssured

    Dear krishna
In two ways this could be controlled.
    1)  With the help of your Basis team, authorization should not be provided for those users who you dont want to access VA02.
    2)  By applying User Exit : MV45AFZZ and with the help of ABABer, you can control changing the PR00 value in sale order.

  • Periodic Billing for Rental Contracts

    Hi Gurus,
    Periodic Billing for Rental Contracts
I have a customer requirement where in i need to create a Rental Contract of type say MV.
Billing should be periodic in nature. Say today is the GI date 22/SEP/2008, they give 7 days of lead time up to 29/SEP/2008. From this date onwards the customer is to be billed. They do the invoicing on a quartely basis. From 29/SEP/2008 up to 28/DEC/2008, they need to create one single invoice. This single invoice will be generated sometime in January 2009. How will i configure the system to generate date specific invoices...?
In Periodic billing system will generate billing only on month ends say 30/SEP/2008, 31/OCT/2008 and so on...
    This is a high priority issue...Please reply with a solution as soon as possible;
    Thanks in advance;
    Regards,
    Syed Nasir

    Hi Syed,
This is not an easy option to do:
In our case, we have opted out of this scenario, but we have evaluated these two options:
    1) You can do the monthly billing as present in the SAP, and then you can make one lumpsum invoice for the three invoices generated in a quarter. But the problem is that the revenue shows to be pending and can hurt the business targets.
    2) If you have to create this process for only few customers. You can use any two special fields for the contract one field for date and a field for quaterly tagging. Then you have to just create a daily batch job which invoices the contract on the basis of contract type, date and tag. But if you have large number of contracts to process then this would not be recommendable solution.
    Hope this helps,

  • Questions regarding how I pay my Line Rental Bill ...

Hi BT,  I'm currently a BE Broadband customer,  I was a BT Broadband customer back in the days when you had BT Home Hub 1.0 and 8mb packages which i was only getting like 5-6mb, 0.3mb upload and constant speed caps on my connection to 1mb.  You guys didn't have true unlimited usage back then so being a gamer and someone that frequently downloads I changed to BE broadband.  They gave me a steady 11mb connection with 1.3mb upload speed which I've been satisfied with.   But now BE Broadband has been sold off to Sky which I don't think I want to be apart of as I've heard a lot of bad feedback and I really do not want to be forced into paying their line rental if I where to switch to Sky Unlimited.
So now I'm considering coming back to BT Broadband,  knowing that you've probably improved over the years.  I hope so.  I know you have this whole BT Infinity going now but my area doesn't support fibre optic broadband and probably never will because I've looked on the BT Openreach website and it says there are no plans for my area to be installed with fibre optics which I would of wanted to have but oh well.  What are the chances of my internet speed being the same as it is now with BE Broadband?   I don't see why it would go any slower.   Are your upload speeds around the same?
Also I have a question regarding the payment methods of your BT Line rental.  I'm currently already on the BT line rental on the anytime calling plan.   I pay the bill quarterly every 3 months, which I'm comfortable with.  What confuses me is when I select the package to order BT Unlimited + Calls I only have the option to select Monthly Line Rental or Line Rental Saver.   Why am I able to pay my phone every 3 months if those are the only two options?   I'd prefrably want to stick to how I pay my phone bill.   So further more how should I go about ordering BT Unlimited broadband without it interfering with my currrent BT line rental?  I just want BT Broadband unlimited along side my current BT line rental method of pay.  Would I still be eligible for the 6 months free and the gift card.  Is the BT Home Hub 4 that comes with it free also?  Also one more question, I'd need my MAC code from BE Broadband right?

This is a community forum.  The people on here are other BT customers.
The speeds have certainly improved but only if BT's equipment at your exchange supports ADSL2/2+.  If not, you'll get what you had before.  While the speeds have improved, the same can't be said for the customer service.  Upload on ADSL2+ can be up to about 1.2M.  On ADSLMax, it's still capped at 448K.
BT like to combine broadband and phone on one bill.  So if you get line rental and broadband, they will send you one monthly bill for both.  You might be able to get them separately, but not through the web site.  Try sales on 0800 800 150.

  • Proforma Invoice for Consignment Fill-up

    Hi,
Everytime there is a delivery out from my company, we need to submit a proforma invoice to custom.
Now we plan to implement the Consignment but we facing a problem. After we created the transcations for consignment fill-up (sales order type KB and its delivery order), we want to create the proforma invoice (F8) based on the delivery order but an error occured as below:
"80008164 000010 Item category LF KBN cannot be invoiced with billing type F8."
Is this message telling that consignment fill-up transaction can't use as reference to create a proforma invoice?
Is there any configuration that I need to do to allow the creation of proforma invoice based on the consignment fill-up transaction?
    Thank you.

    Hi Aaron,
You can have a Proforma Invoice for Consignment Fill-up. For this use the following path:
IMG> Sales and Distribution> Sales> Sales Documents> Sales Document Item--> Define Item Categories. Here select the Item Category KBN and select option "D" for Billing Relevance field and  "X" for Pricing field (seen in the Business Data option).
Also maintain Copy control between the Delivery type & Billing type using T-code VTFL. Here ensure Copying requirement as 009(DlvRel.pro forma hdr) at Header level. And at Item level select Item category as "KBN" with Copying requirements as 010(DlvRel.pro forma itm), Billing Qty as "B" and Pricing Type as per your requirement.
    Hope this helps you.
    REWARD if it helps you!!

  • Excise Transaction Type for consignment fill up / stock transfer

    Hi
When i post excise invoice on account of removal due to sales (through J1IIN), SAP pulls uses DLFC excise transaction type. Following entry is posted at the time of J1IIN:
    Excise Duty paid A/c.. Dr
To Excise Duty payable (Basic + ECess + SHEC)
My requirement is, when i post excise invoice on account of removal due to consignment or stock transfer, SAP should pass following entry:
Excise Duty paid on consignment A/c.. Dr
To Excise Duty payable (Basic + ECess + SHEC)
Excise Duty paid on stock transfer A/c.. Dr
To Excise Duty payable (Basic + ECess + SHEC)
For this, i will have to create different GL accounts and assign it to "CENVAT SUSPENSE" in excise transaction type table.
But i does not know which excise transaction type does SAP uses for consignment fill up and stock transfer. Please suggest.

    1.basic settings-create subtransaction type.
    create subtransaction type
    cf-consignment fillup
    st-stock transfer
2.account determination- Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction
copy DLFC and name it as DLFC and cf and also st.
    3.account determination-Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction
copy dlfc and maintain DLFC  and subtransaction type cf and also st.
change the gl account for cenvat suspense for st and cf combination.

  • Consignment FillUp and Consignment Issue Referencing?

    Hi Guys,
I'm currently involved in the development of a POC to automated consignment processes. My question is,
Is it possible to do a reference for every consignment fillup to consignment issue orders. What field should I use?
This is for their tracking purposes.

    Dear sarvanand
Normally for consignment issue order, you need to refer F8 proforma invoice for which in VOV8, for order type KE, assign M for the field [Refence Mandatory]
Also if you want to reproduce a particular data from fillup order to issue order, then you can take the field ZUONR at header level tab Accounting which you can see both in fillup order and issue order.
The copy control for this field is in VTFL.  There select the combination of your delivery type and proforma type and click on blue lens on top left.  Now you can see the field Assignment Number.  Press F4 there and maintain the required one so that the same will populate from fillup to issue order.
    thanks

  • Copy Control : Consignment fillup to consignment issue

    Hi all
My client requirement is to create consignment issue with reference to consignment fillup. But when i checked the standards , i did not see any such copy control. Please advice as to how i should make the settings
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Hari

    Hi Harish,
Once check the Cosignment Document types using VOV8.Here we can find the Tab:Reference Mandatory for KB (Consignment Fill up) as well as KE .(Consignment issue ).Both having the document category as C means it works the properties of a normal sales order.
As per your client Requirement try this procee:
1.Create one Quotation having different document type. And maintain the copy controls for the both( like quotation to Sales Order.)
2.Mean while we can create the Consignment issue with reference to Consignment Fill-up.
For further clarifications you can check the SAP help itself.

  • New movement types required for Consignment

    Hi Friends,
Need help related to Consignment Movement Type:
in Fill up Process KB/CF my client wants the goods to be in 'Transit' and then next step to Fillup.
Similarly in returns, we wanted the goods to be first to be reflected in 'QI' (MMBE/MB58) and then to be moved to consignment stock.
unline 631/634..are there any movement types that can fix this issue?..if we have to create a new movement type what type can be copied and stored for my client specific requirement.
    Thank you
    Ravi

    1)  my client wants the goods to be in 'Transit'
    2)  WE used standard process
If the second comment cited above fulfills the first one, can you please let me know how you have achieved this.  To the best of my knowledge, in consignment fillup process, we cannot see the "Stock in Transit".  Once fillup delivery is made via 631 movement type, the unrestricted stock moves to "Cust.consignment".
    thanks

  • Consignment Fillup in MB51

    Dear friends
There is a requirement from my top management that in consignment fillup process, as and when the delivering plant generates fillup delivery with movement type 631, the standard price of the respective materials from material master should flow in MB51.
For information, as per standard, only when you generate issue delivery with movement type 633, we can see the value (Field name DMBTR)  in MB51 under the tab "Amount in LC".  For 631 deliveries, this column would be in zeros
Since they dont want to go for any zee TCode to meet this requirement, I have been asked to search for any standard TCode where I can see the above value.
To the best of my knowledge, there is no standard TCodes through which we can see the standard price as like MB51 report.  Any other better option to achieve this requirement ??
Needless to say, my last option would go for zee development.
    thanks
    G. Lakshmipathi

    Hi Lakshmipathi,
My understanding is, the Amount in LC will not be there in the case of consignment fillup and pickup, because there will not be any valuation changes within the plant. In the case of consignment fillup the ownership will not be changing and hence it will not give the valuation of the material. I believe, changing the functionality will change the meaning(basic purpose) of consignment process.
When I compared the configuration of the movement types 631,632 with that of 633,634....in the case of 633 and 634 the field VALUE UPDATION is ticked/checked and not checked in the case of 631 and 632. You can check this in OMJJ selecting the movement type and clicking on the Account Grouping on the left side.
Though I am not sure, I believe this could be reason for that and If you check the value updation field for 631 movement type and test, it may give you the desired result.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • In consignment fillup - its necessary excise invoice?

    Hi experts,
In consignment fillup- is it necessary excise invoice? if its necessary without billing how it's possible?
    regards,
    raju

    Hi,
During consignment fill-up the property of stock is belonged to you, so you can not do excise invoice at that time! You should do during consignment issue processing.
    Good day

  • $209 bill for 2 weeks service??

I signed up for XFINITY because AT&T service in my area sucks and those are the only 2 providers. AT&T only goes up to 8mbps for $64/month while XFINITY was only $54 (including modem rental) for 75mbps. The 1st day or 2 it worked great but after that it was horrible. It would only work with an ethernet cable so I would have to stand in front of the modem to plug in my laptop using ethernet. I called them and they had me run speed tests on my phone and laptop. My phone went up to 6mbps while the laptop only did 0.69mbps without the cable. They said they would send someone out. The guy came 3 days later and all he did was run a test on his phone and told me to buy a $60 wireless adapter for all the devices I want to connect. I called XFINITY the next day to cancel and they said I won't be charged anything ($54.99 internet, $99 installation) I cancelled on the 16th, dropped of my equipment at the store on the 19th and they finally shut off my service on the 27th. On 7-30 i get 3 different bills for $209 for $100 installation, $55 internet and modem and $50 service fee and about $4 in other taxes and fees. I called and they told me they would adjust it but as of now 8-5 aka 6 days later its still $209.. I'm so glad I didnt set up auto pay like i usually do for my credit card and car insurance. I used the service for about 2 days and cancelled after 7 days and they want $209.. Ridiculous. Id rather go to starbucks with my laptop every day and get a frap then pay ATT or XFNTY $55 or $64

  • $1300 + Bill for months... Help

I am running out of ideas of how to solve this problem. I have been a Verizon FiOS customer for 6 months. I have had to call Verizon Customer Service for 6 months about incorrect equipment and billing. The last 4 months have been especially difficult because my bill have been over $1,300. The issue is that I am being charged full price for equipment returned and rental charges for the same equipment I returned.
I have repeatly called Verizon customer service to get help resolving this isusue. Every month customer service agents credit my rental charges, but an "off net team" has to fix the equipment issues.  I was told the issue would be resolved in 90 days... It is well over 90 days. Verizon customer service agents have even stated " we have received the equipment". I will give Verizon customer service agents the benefit of the doubt. I just called today and someone had credited my account the rental charges earlier in the day. However, why is it so hard for this "off net team" to fix my bill regarding equipment?
There is no contact information for this "off net team", and no manager to speak with. How have other customers handled this problem? Should I contact the BBB? Get a lawyer?
My fear is that if I do not follow through with this issue to completion and find acceptable solution; Verizon will try to collect $1,300 and take advantage of an average Joe.

Sorry you are having difficulty, an agent with access to your account will reach out to you directly by email, private message in the Forums and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account for more information to help you resolve your issue. Please remember to check your spam/junk folder if you do not hear from an agent.
