Repair of customer owned equipment

Hi SAP Experts
Iu2019ve got a scenario which Iu2019m looking for an SAP solution for.
Sales Org A repairs customer owned equipment on behalf of its customers. But the repair is carried out in Sales Org B, located in a different country. After the repairs, Sales Org B bills Sales Org A, and Sales Org A in turn bills the customer for the cost of the repair work. How will this be handled in SAP?

                I am a fresher in ABAP and first time posting my query, My requirment is to fetch the equipment master data for only active customer owned equipment(ECUS as the only system status) . I tried searching the field 'status' from table 'JEST' but not able to understand the parameter for 'active custmer', no data is there as such 'ECUS'.
    Please asist me for the same.

    Hi Atul,
    What you see in teh JEST table is the internal id for the status ECUS.  In case this status is internal (system status), check the table TJ02T to find the mapping of the internal id to the external representation (ECUS). In case ECUS is external (user), check table TJ30T.
    Use the ID to check in table JEST the status is active for the object in question.

  • External repair of customer equipments

    Hello Folks,
    Need help on following scenario:
    Customer returns equipment for repair. Repair has to be done by external vendor.
    We create a CS-order. Equipment get posted on sales-order-stock.
    How does the process work to create a purchase order for repair at the external vendor out of CS-order.
    There is no movement type to bring equipments from sales-order-stock to subcontracting stock. Any ideas for a simple workaround?
    At the moment we have to post customer equipment first from sales-order-stock to unrestricted stock, create a PO for repair, post 541(unrest.--> subcontr. stock). After repair we do MIGO for PO and post 542(subcontr. stock --> unrest.) and unrestr. back to sales-order-stock.This is bloody annoying.
    Is there not a simple way to bring the equipment from the CS-order directly to a vendor for repair and back to CS-order?

  • Subcontracting with Customer Owned Stock

    Hi Guys
    We will have stock that is owned by a customer but stored on our premises and we will be using the Subcontracting PO Process to send away unserviceable items and get them refurbished to come back as servicable.
    We need the facility to do this with both normal stock AND Custiomer owned stock
    In my current scenario the only stock i have is customer owned (special stock cat B) and i want to create a Subcontracting PO AND an outbound delivery using the customer owned stock,
    Any help in how to do this would be appreciated

  • Subcontracting Process with Customer owned stock

    We are looking for SAP supported process where the customer sends us components along with a sales order for a finished good. The components have to be received into customer owned stock and will be used (for instance as part of the BOM) to produce the finished good ordered by the customer.
    Does anybody have a solution for this process within SAP?

    Hi,
    1. Define your customer materials (both component and finished product) as non valuated material, because these materials not effecting the our inventory.
    2. create Bom for finished product.
    3. Create sales order for service charges with reference to your customer PO.
    4. Receive the component from your customer through 501 E (with out po sales order specific).
    5. Create Production order with reference to sales order through MRP or manual.
    6. confirm the production order and receive the
    finished product.
    7. Delivery to customer as in normal sales process.
    8. Then create performa invoice or billing to your customer.
    You can follow the above process, if have any further quarry please let me know.

  • Movement Type from Customer owned Stock back to Plant Stock

    Hi Guru's,
    Is there a Mov. Type that allows you to transfer from Customer owned Stock back to Plant Stock, without creating any FI Documents? Please help thanks in advance Carlo

    What is customer owned stock?
    from my point of view it is any stock that you and others sold to this customer. not in your system at all.
    If you want to get it back to your promises, then you have to create a customer return.
    The customer return goes into return stock, this does not create any financial postings.
    But if you transfer the retun stock into own stock, then you create an accounting doc with value (quantity * price / price unit)
    You cannot create stock for a valuated material without any financial document

  • Customer own condition tables

    we use customer own condition tables with the field VKBUR inside in R3. I have downloaded these tables on the basis of note 514952 and note 674538.
    But after the download the field SALES_OFFICE was not filled in CRM and CDB.
    We use CRM 5.0 SP5 on the CRM server.

    Then the only way is to impelment a Dataexchange badi and to modify the records to convert R/3 Sales office into CRM Sales Office Id.
    Use badi 'CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI' and implement method
    'CRM_DATAEXCH_R3D_MBDOC_FILL'.
    Checkout the sample implementation 'CPE_DATAEXCHG_BADI' for more detail explanation on the dataexchange badi programming.

    As for as inventory is concerned, you can track through MB51 where you can see customer code and delivery reference.
    In case of samples, if you have maintained a separate order type / billing type and raised commercial invoice, you can track through VF05 by selecting "Further selection criteria".

    You need a telephony modem (also known as an eMTA)
    The only modems you'll find at retail are the Arris TG862G and the TM722G. The TG862G is an all-in-one gateway device (modem/router/phone) and the TM722G is just modem/phone. The Arris TG862G is okay for use anywhere on Comcast system, the TM722G  may only be allowed in certain areas so you should call Comcast before purchasing a TM722G .

    Is there a way to make MD04 - Material Stock Requirements List, to show a particular type service order? Our loaner equipment is owned by us and goes through Repair after it comes back from a customer. We create service orders for those materials and when running MD04 we would like to see those service orders as supplies.

    Unfortunately, third party purchase orders have nothing to do with my issue. My case is service orders, repair orders for the materials we own. MD04 shows requirements as these loaners are going out to customers on customer repair orders. When they get back they get repaired and put back into our own stock and then shipped to another customer on a loaner program. If the service order is scheduled to be completed we would like to know how many are coming back into stock and make decisions based on requirements in MD04. Therefore, I would like to have MD04 show those service orders as supplies.

  • Business Partner for Customer(own plant) created as a person

    Hi
    I have created a customer master that is representing my own plant. Shipping data for plant is maintained under STO customizing.
    I have CIFed the customer master, but it has got created as a PERSON  and not the organization.
    I have also CIFed the vendor master(representing the same plant), it has got created correctly as Orgnization.
    Can anyboy explain me what happened wrong with my customer master.

    the system which I am using, has a customer already created by someone else with the same account group 0120 : branch with incompany billing.  That customer had got created as organization in the EWM.  My customer has got created as person.  So i suppose there is no issue with account group.  I have below account groups in the system. All Std ones. what is the ideal account group that should be used for the customer which represents the Own plant.

  • Poor Repair and Customer Service - Ideapad U400

    My system is an Ideapad U400, approximately 3 months old.
    I am currently a student. Approximately 1 week into the semester (Jan. 31) my computer would no longer turn on. I immediately called their customer service number and was told that I would be receiving a box to send via fedex within a few days. On Feb 6. I had still not received a box to mail it and again called the technical support number to find out why. I was then told by a different representative that I would not receive a box, and that I should just take the box to a fedex store and they would send it out.
    Thus, Feb. 6th my computer was sent to their repair center. As of Feb. 10th my repair was listed as being put on hold. I called their technical support number again Feb. 15th asking what the hold was for and for how long. Turns out the repair center does not have the part and is not schedule to get it until Feb. 24th.
    I'm sorry, but as a student this kind of time frame for a repair is not acceptable. One of my classes is online as well, and this repair has been terribly inconvenient for me to get my work done seeing as how I need to balance working, classes, and now finding expanses of time to get to a campus lab to not only do my work, but even to check my email.
    I have since been given a customer advocate who called today to let me know that things will be straightened out. Their only solution is to wait for the repair or replace my system (which can still take up to a week). This means that regardless of the solution chosen, I will still be without a computer for almost a month (from Jan. 31st forward).
    Really all I want is a refund. I could get a computer right away and not have to continue to fight with this issue. Apparently refunds are only done within 30 days. If the motherboard had not crashed on a 3 month old computer, I wouldn't have given a refund a second thought. However, I don't think my request is out of line considering a 7-9 day repair has turned into a month.
    Needless to say, I was quite satisfied with the company before this ordeal. If I called during business hours, I got FANTASTIC service on their technical support line. However, the way this repair is getting resolved, I am no longer a satisfied customer. I refuse to purchase another product from this company, and if I can I will be reselling the computer to another party once I receive the system back and purchasing a new laptop from a company I can trust to put my interest ahead of the fact that over 30 days have passed since receiving the system.

    and it is more secure than FIOS (still in its infancy).  As stated by
    many customers....mobile phones are the most unreliable for
    emergencies (gray areas will cause dropped calls to no access). 
    For customers who have home security systems, medical systems.
    Does it work with FIOS?
