Report DW error with CSS position

To the Adobe staff
I use this forum cause I can't find where the F... to report an error!
There is an error in Dreamweaver CS4 french (canadian) version.
When you create a css style, the position tab, the fonction fixed has been translated and should not.
So right now, you read "fixe" instead of "fixed"

You can report bugs here...

  • Error with cursor position on Chart

    Hello
    I'm getting an error with a simple Chart.  I'm trying to show the chart position (using labels and a crosshair) and I'm getting an exception ONLY (it seems) when the program starts up with the cursor above the chart.  If I move the cursor off to
    the side or something I don't get the error.
    Error: PositionToValue method cannot be called prior to calculating position of all chart area elements.
    The error occurs in the MouseMove event handler.
    private void crtPlotData_MouseMove(object sender, MouseEventArgs e)
    Point mousePoint = new Point(e.X, e.Y);
    crtPlotData.ChartAreas[0].CursorX.Interval = 0;
    crtPlotData.ChartAreas[0].CursorY.Interval = 0;
    crtPlotData.ChartAreas[0].CursorX.SetCursorPixelPosition(mousePoint, true);
    crtPlotData.ChartAreas[0].CursorY.SetCursorPixelPosition(mousePoint, true);
    lblXposition.Text = "Pixel X Position: " + crtPlotData.ChartAreas[0].AxisX.PixelPositionToValue(e.X).ToString();
    lblYposition.Text = "Pixel Y Position: " + crtPlotData.ChartAreas[0].AxisY.PixelPositionToValue(e.Y).ToString();
    HitTestResult result = crtPlotData.HitTest(e.X, e.Y);
    if (result.PointIndex > -1 && result.ChartArea != null)
    lblXvalue.Text = "X-Value: " + result.Series.Points[result.PointIndex].XValue.ToString();
    lblYvalue.Text = "Y-Value: " + result.Series.Points[result.PointIndex].YValues[0].ToString();
    }...etc.
    The exception occurs at the "lblXposition.Text" statement.
    For whatever reason if the cursor is above the chart at start up I get the error but I don't know how to prevent it long enough for "calculating position of all chart area elements".
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Yet the event DOES work as long as the cursor is not within the chart boundaries at start up.  ???
    It happens to, but I would rely on the documentation. However, you can set a flag to true in the Paint event of the chart, and in the mouseMove handler, exit if the flag has not been set yet.

  • Netstat not reporting input errors with packets that have bad checksums ?

    Greetings,
    Is netstat not reporting any checksum errors ? I have a number of Macs reporting checksum errors when sniffing the local net. I would think that these should be reported by netstat as input errors, or collisions right ?
    But it doesn't currently. See below for sample, its occurring across protocols, tcp, and udp. Usually this error is a bad ethernet port or cabling, and sometimes a sw issue. Working on eliminating the switches, router, and dsl modem by doing more testing.
    But is netstat broke ? I havent seen any errors from netstat since @ 3yrs ago.
    length 64, bad cksum 0 (->f9fe)!)
    One other question, can one monitor firewire 400/800 ports or usb with netstat ? Its not listed with man pages or netstat -h
    Thanks in advance

    Im am using two commands to view the data;
    netstat -I en0 2;
    (no errors in or out)
    and tcpdump with the verbose -v argument
    ( reports the cksum ( these are CRC's right, not IP header checksum ? )
    At the very bottom is the netstat -s output, otherwise a snippet of tcpdump ; replaced the IP's with xxxx's to protect the innocent
    Thanks for your help.....

  • "Load report failed" error with VS 2010 upgrade

    I have a report system that has been running nicely for a few years. Today, I upgraded it to use the latest Crystal from Visual Studio 2010. I installed the .net framework 4.0, installed the Crystal runtime (64 bit), and updated the web site with slightly revised code to use the new stuff. Now, reports that worked yesterday fail with the 'load report failed' error. A little research shows that the file name passed to the report engine is correct (and is the same as it has always been). I see that rpt files are being created in windows\temp each time a report is requested, so it seems that the report file is being found.
    The code change I made was to use the new ExportToHttpResponse method.
    When deployed in development and test environments (both 32 bit). this worked perfectly. In production, however, no such luck. I wonder if I have missed a setting somewhere, or if there is something extra to do on a 64 bit server?
    Does anyone have a clue for me?
    More info - I found the following error in the event log:
    The keycode assembly, BusinessObjects.Licensing.KeycodeDecoder.dll, cannot be loaded.
    ... which I thought was interesting until I noticed the same error occurs on my dev machine, where the reports are working.
    I also used process monitor to check the dlls loaded on the production box, and they all seem to be the latest version. I tried using the 'modules' utility on my production box, but it did not pick up the Crystal stuff (or any of my web stuff - I wonder if it is a 32-bit only tool?).
    Edited by: Ray Novak on Dec 29, 2010 5:12 PM

    I just tried this again with the same result. I uninstalled the previous Crystal, deleted all the old folders and reg keys I could find, then installed the new 64 bit redist package. I asigned permissions to the SAP reg key tree. I ended up with the same result: "Invalid file name". There were new files created in the temp folder for each report request, so I can tell that my.rpt files are being found.
    I used process monitor to see what was happening, and here are the results that seem interesting:
    RegOpenKey     HKU\.DEFAULT\Software\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0     NAME NOT FOUND
    RegOpenKey     HKU\.DEFAULT\Software\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0     NAME NOT FOUND
    IRP_MJ_CREATE     C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\secSSO.dll.2.Config     NAME NOT FOUND
    FASTIO_NETWORK_QUERY_OPEN     C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\SmAgentAPI.dll     NAME NOT FOUND
    Since it seemed to be trying to create files in the \win64_x64 folder, I allowed the process full access, but it didn't help. It was also looking for SmAgentAPI.dll which does not seem to exist on my system.

  • Help with CSS positioning of menu

    Hello.
    Am slowly making some progress following recent difficulties
    with CSS.
    At the moment things are finally looking the same on
    different browsers EXCEPT the menu bar to the right of the movie:
    http://www.notjustthenews.co.uk/page2_movies.html
    Basically in Internet Explorer it's where I want it to be,
    level with the top of the movie, but in Safari it drops down much
    lower.
    Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?
    This is the CSS I'm using for the menu:
    width: 300px;
    height: 160px;
    float: left;
    margin-top: 40px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    margin-left: 85px;
    display: block;
    clear: none;

    There's room for much improvement.

    #2 You're complicating matters with repetitive class and id names on every element.  It's better if you don't do this.
    #3 Your CSS code is overly verbose.  Less is more.
    #4 I don't understand why you're using HTML5 but not using HTML5 tags for your content.  For such a simple layout, this is all you need.

  • The schedule in Power BI report refresh error with the powerpivot or powerview with SQL Analysis services as data source

    In the Power BI Admin Centre, the data sources that cannot be setup with Analysis services, and it has the error to schedule the powerpivot or powerview report to have data refresh. The error is "我們無法重新整理此報表中的資料來源種類。" - english, "We
    can not rearrange the source of information in this report types ." We would like to know the power bi schedule function can support SQL analysis service or not. Please advise. Thanks.

    It is not currently supported. You might be able to create a linked server in SQL to be a proxy for the connection and enable scheduled refresh if you are desperate.

  • BUG: preview report template errors with ORA-01002

    I've checked on my local install and on apex.oracle.com. I go into the Templates of Shared Components and filter on the Report Templates. Although the preview icon is displayed to allow me to preview the template, I always receive "ORA-01002: fetch out of sequence" on an error page. The only types of Report Templates I have are of type "Generic Columns" so not sure if the problem exists with "Named Columns."
    Can anyone confirm this or correct me on this?
    Shane.

    I wouldn't mind piggy-backing this to ask if the Report Template "shortcut" links at the top of the page can be updated to account for all sections that are now a part of the Report Template. "Before Each Row" and "After Each Row" sections are not listed in the shortcuts. There are also two shortcuts listed as "Before" and "After" which should probably be relabeled.
    Shane.

  • Trouble with CSS Positioning

    Hello-
    I am working with a built-in Dreamweaver CSS template (2
    Column, Fixed, Header & Footer). I am trying to get the two
    divs that are nested inside the container div to always be 100%
    height of that container div... Just can't seem to get it right.
    For example, I have a div named "Container". Then I have two
    nested divs, one called "LeftSideBar" (set to float: Left), the
    other named "MainContent" (no float). When I go to set the
    positioning, I put the height of the interior divs to 100%, but
    only the "MainContent" div is adjusting to the height of the
    outside "Container" div. The "LeftSideBar" stays the same and does
    not grow to fill 100% of the Container.
    Below is the code for the three Divs mentioned above... Any
    help would be much appreciated.
    PS - Here is a link to the page...

    Here is the CSS code for the three Divs:

    #1 About APDivs and why you don't need (or want) them in primary layouts:

    #2 You're complicating matters with repetitive class and id names on every element.  It's better if you don't do this.
    #3 Your CSS code is overly verbose.  Less is more.
    #4 I don't understand why you're using HTML5 but not using HTML5 tags for your content.  For such a simple layout, this is all you need.

  • Report.Load Error with ASP application

    Hi,
    I experienced a few instances where my the follow statement where my ASP application (using VS2005, CRXI-R2+SP4, Datasets and CR Viewer on the server) thows an error on my server (running Server 2003).
            Dim Report As CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument = _
                New CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument()
            Try
                Report.Load(Server.MapPath("~/Private/Event/WebEvent.rpt"))
            Catch ex As Exception
                JavaMessage("Report Not Found")
                Exit Sub
            End Try
    I don't know what the exception is at this point. But something happens and the crystal reports in all my websites break uniformly. I need to restart IIS to get things back working. This has happended to me 3x now.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Eric

    Hi,

  • Error with CSS

    Hey everyone,
    I am just learning to use DreamWeaver and I have version 8.
    Well I created an Image Viewer to put pics in. Well as you can see
    at my site,
    http://g-townlife.com/Earls
    21st.html, the picuters will run but will restart in the middle on
    different pictures. It acts like it tries to load teh next picture
    but then it restarts the pictures.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Certainly wouldn't expect this to cause your previous
    symptoms. Whose
    slideshow are you using there? I'd ask them....

  • Shortly after loading,the latest version,downloaded and installed here 5/22/13, reports an error with ntdll.dll forcing a shutdown.  Apple's temporary work around works for me; launch  Itunes while first pressing  and holding CtrlShift keys ...

    This  startsitunes in it's own  "safe mode", allowing normal functions.

    By running in safe mode the plug-ins are not running. The issue may be caused by a plug-in.

  • CSS Positioning or DW Problem?

    I am having difficulty with CSS positioning after spending several hours reading and trial and error.  I am beginning to think that Dreamweaver is broken, and thoughts of reloading are crossing my mind.
    My desire is to have a background image "beneath" my page wrap div, essentially acting as a border surrounding it.  I have assigned the position to this image "background" as relative, and therefore assigned the positioning of my page wrap div as absolute.  The page wrap has been given a background color, and a line of text to enable me to "see" where I am in securing the proper placement. I would think that the background color of the page wrap div would "show" but it is not. (?)
    I have positioned my palette, as we will call it, with margins, while attempting to place my page wrap using top, right, bottom and left through the CSS dialog box.  Regardless of values used, the div remains in the bottom left hand corner of the browser window and refuses to budge.
    #palette {
        background: url(images/pallete.png) no-repeat;
        width: 1200px;
        height: 1400px;
        margin: 100px auto;
        position: relative;
    #page wrap {
        position: absolute;
        background: #C06;
        height: 1100px;
        width: 960px;
        top: 100px;
        right: -120px;
    It has gotten so that any changes I make to the CSS at this stage will not even trigger a Refresh of the CSS styles panel?  What gives?
    Thanks.

    I've never used "Live Code" before, and was able to place #page more to my liking, but it is a ballpark position so to speak, I can only approximate it's center within #palette.  I begin to think I have success, until I go to browser view, where #page position seems to shift.
    You are trying to use HTML like a word processor and that's the absolute (no pun intended) wrong approach!
    An absolutely positioned element's location is calculated from the location of its nearest positioned ANCESTOR.  An "ancestor" is a containing element, not an adjacent element (which would be a 'sibling').  Thus, if you want your absolutely positioned element to key off of the location of a relatively positioned element, it must be a child (or descendent) of that relatively positioned element.  In other words, to make #page work relative to #palette, it must be inside #palette.
    If there are alternatives to securing positioning other than my current method, I would be interested to learn about it.  I am not aware of the drawbacks mentioned with employing this type of positioning, could you provide some detail please?
    There is an excellent alternative without using positioning at all - it's called 'best practice'!   The disadvantages of using absolute positioning for everything are:
    1.  Because absolutely positioned elements are removed from the flow of code on the page, they are immune to shifts in other non-positioned page elements due to browser viewport size changes, or text display size changes.
    2.  Since #1 is the case, and since text display size changes may cause the height of the container to change, if that container is absolutely positioned, its contained text may overlap other content on the screen.  The more absolutely positioned text containers there are the worse this effect becomes, quickly producing an unusable, overlapping mess.
    3.  Absolutely positioned elements are located on the screen without regard for where the elements appear in the code, and as a result, it's quite possible to have two bits of text that only make semantic sense when taken as a unit separated by quite a bit of code, perhaps even other text bits.  Thus, pages built with absolutely positioned text containers are usually not semantically sensible, meaning that they would not fare well when run through a screen assistive device.
    4.  Considering all of these things, pages that contain both centering elements and positioned elements frequently go wandering as viewport widths are changed.
    The upshot is that the method most likely to be chosen by an inexperienced user because of its apparent simplicity is also the absolute worst possible approach to building the page.
    Oh, by the way, the values for positioning below were obtained through "dragging" div=page into position.  I would rather not use Live Code, but plug in concrete values in the future.
    The word processing approach in action!  The only way to achieve plugging in concrete values is to have a layout already planned on paper before you start.
    Say more about how you want your page to look (I'm not sure what you mean exactly about centering #page "above" #palette, but if you mean "before" then consider this -
    <style type="text/css">
    h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, p, address, blockquote, ul, ol, li {
        margin: 0px;
        padding: 0px;
    html {
        background: #3E4A9C url(images/Untitled-2.png) repeat;
    body {
        font: 1em Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
        color: #000;
        width:1200px;
        margin:0 auto;
    #palette {
        background: url(images/map.png) no-repeat;
        margin: 100px auto;
    #page {
        width: 960px;
        margin:0 auto;
        background-color: #03C;
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>
    <div  id="page">This is my page </div><!--End of page-->
      <div id="palette"></div><!--End of palette-->
    </body>
    (note that I have removed all positioning, as well as all heights - it's generall a bad idea to declare explicit heights on elements that contain text, again due to potential overflow problems)
