Report issue - missing records

I have written a workflow to route an oppty record to a certain book upon selecting a checkbox on the oppty page. The records are routing fine as expected. And when I login as that user and run a list with the specified book selected in the lookin selector, I can see those records. However when I run a realtime report with that book in the lookin selector, I don't get any results.
1. I have given the user access to this book.
2. I have made this book the default book for analytics for him.
3. I have given access to oppties and books at role level.
Please suggest what I may have missed.

In Real time reports, the records in the sub books are not reflected in the reports. Hence, please let me know if the records are there in the sub books or in the books.

Reports randomly "miss" records

Background:
I've made a report that I send to customers. From this report, I've made a summary report that's literally a copy of the first report, but most everything is suppressed except for one section of the original report. Again, from the main report, I've made another report that is basically the summary report, except it outputs all the information in a specific format so I can upload it into my financial system as a flat file. Other than all the suppressed sections there are a few layout changes and such, but nothing that should affect the data, they way it's sorted, etc...
The Problem:
The 3 report's summations don't match up all the time. I'd say they are 90% correct. I did some expanding to find out that the reports randomly drop a record of data here and there. They are terribly small differences too because a record is usually only a matter of cents, however this makes it hell on us because we can't rely on the summary to match what the customer sees which may not match the upload into our financial system.
More bad news:
It appears to be random and it isn't just one report that does it. Sometimes the customer receipt misses a record and the others don't, sometimes the summary misses one and the others don't and sometimes the upload misses. You get the point.
I've gone through the SQL queries that are created and they are literally word for word. They match 100%, even the order of everything (which was to be expected by using a copy of the receipt for the others). Also, at first glance, all the options are the same as well. They pull from the same DBs using the same links. All filtering is in place and all match. Finally, the records read always match up after the reports finish, so they are obviously all pulling the data.
I'm stumped and have been working on this for toooooo long. I think it's time for some fresh minds. Anyone?

some answers:
Yes, there are occasional null values in reported fields, but all 3 reports get the same values and I believe all reports have the same fields shown. Will have to take a closer look to make sure.
Yes, I do rounding here and there, but again every report does the same thing at the same places. The rounding is done after the summations of the records occur. Theoretically, it shouldn't affect the records themselves.
Yes, the dropping of records is repeatable. I can refresh the report and the same records are dropped every time.
Here's the SQL from the main receipt report, but I warn you, it gets pretty hairy. There are many tables that need to be joined across multiple databases. Nothing should be confidential.

I filter by date. Only other filters are for the subreports that filter based on the department that the main report is currently compiling. I do in line filtering of any records that aren't valid at run time. So any records that are $0.00 or below and any records that have "false" numbers.

Loading issue..missing records .. randomly

Thanks for ur replies.
We found on 11/09 some records are missing from last 6 months ( 3 to 4 records for each group with diff dates) in daily delta loads 1pm.
It is very difficult to load each group as full loads on that dates.
We did repeat delta with no selections on 12.09.2005 at 9 am (loads 8 million rec) and on the same day daily delta also run at 1pm( it also loads 8 million rec) . Finally we seen on 13/09 we get duplicate records. We forcibly removed these request which we had run on 12th (i.e Repeat Delta & Delta). Those were now in reconstruct tab.
How to get my missed records from 6 months? How to handle this with out effecting cube data?
Can we do selections in repeat delta / delta cases?
Initialization was done on 04/04/2004.
What is the reason for missing these recors?/
pls tell the step wise.

You Mean 1)re-init with transfer/without transfer ? selection?( before this we should remove previous init load) 2) then daily delta.

My suggestion would be since we have the option of transfered date in the selection conditions of infopackage , what we have do is we can do selective deletion of the contents of last and current month based on the closing date of the HR system and load only that data .
For ex: if you want to delete the contents of MAY 2005 and June 2005 , and the delta failed lies in the month of May 2005. so delete the two months and load only May 2005 in a separate infopackage. After that you can continue your normal loads with the month June 2005. By this way we wont miss any data as you are loading to cube no problem of duplication.
Is it advisable??

CO-PC Drilldown Reports are Missing

In the process of creating new Drilldown Reports, it appeared that some Standard Reports were missing, so I reimported the reports from Client 000. Now I cannot access an of my reports. I have an entirely different menu in KKO0 and I think it reset something to prior to version 4.0 (we're on 4.6c) whan the trees changed. All of the reports are still visible in the Tables, but not in any of the reporting trees. ANd if I try to run a report such as S_ALR_87013151 - Actual/WIP: Aggregated - I received errors that the report does not exist. Does anyone have any ideas?

I ran the Import program (RKCOBTR3) in DEBUG and stumbled across RKKBOLDR.
SAP also send me a message in reference to this, this morning. See Below:

Opening updated report fails because record selection filter is invalid

I am trying to update a report stored in BOE XI. The report has been modified and the main part of the report has been moved to a subreport.   I first replace the .rpt file with the updated report. Then I attempt to open the report using the code below it, but it throws an error and complains about an unknown field being mentioned in the filter

If I manually delete the record selection filter in CMC before upgrading the report all works fine. So, do I need to remove the filter before attempting to open the report or is there another step I'm missing to refresh the report using the newly updated .rpt file?

An existing report is being updated. The original report uses a single view and has a record selection filter. The updated report uses the same view in a subreport, and the main report has no record selection filter.
.rpt file is updated using IReport.replaceUnique(int, File).
Changes are committed to IInfoStore -> iStore.commit(IReport)

How to find out the missing records

Dear all,
I feel that there is some Inconsistent records between R/3 and the extracted records BI for the data source 2LIS_03_BF. some of the records may not be updated through delta.. Is this possible? as we have created Zkey figures to capture the diffrent unit of measure's quantity from the table MSEGO2 and updated to IC_c03 cube.
Can any one tell me how to go about the missed records..where to find them.. and how to extract them.

hi,
inventory scenario is difficult to handle as this have non cumulative key figures which can be viewed at the repors.
extreme care is required while compression and intila loads and their compression.
run the report or ask the user to run the report and sort out the missing records.
chk out the document and chk if the procedure done by you is correct.

Reports 10g Missing information during file conversion

I have a large report that includes several graphs that keeps giving me an error during conversion that says the report is missing information and cannot create the file. I have never seen this before this report. It is actually giving me the message REP-1067 Some information is missing in the report. It just seems to happen when I add another graph. There is no information on REP-1067 in searching in the forums which does not give me a lot of hope.. Anyone have any ideas where to look. Report Builder 10g, Database 10g.
There are already several graphs in the report, so I don't believe it is a graphing issue.

Missing records in BW

Hi friends,
We load sales order daily in our Quality system using a process chain, but lately we are facing a strange issue. The records in BW rae not matching in R/3.
EX: on 17.10.2007 in VBAK table there are around 6500 Orders created (Created on), the same will be loaded to our BW ODS without any transformation or restrictions, so we should get the same number of records. Instead we got 100 records only.
This missing records is not happening every day. It happened in the 1st week of OCt and also on 17th of Oct rest other days its OK.
I wanted to know if anyone of u have faced similar issue? if yes how did u solve ( Filling up of setup tables for the missing records is not the solution), what i am looking at is is there any programs which deletes records either from the LBWQ or RSA7?.
Your help is very much needed.

Thanks a lot for ur quick reply. We are loading data for Header, Item and conditions in BW, we are not doing any transformations anywhere from R/3 BW, its all 1-2-1 mappings.
We have been loading this for last 2 yrs, it suddenly started misbehaving. I suspect there must be some job which might be deleteing the records from RSA7, but im not sure if there is any prog or job which does this.

Report Designer missing 'group level' area - GUI problem?

I have a few questions here that I think are related, so I'm posting in one thread.
1) As far as what I've been reading on, we can upgrade to BI 7.0 even with a front-end SapGUI 640 (patch 19). True or False?
2) One can <u>only</u> use Report Designer with SapGUI 710. True or False?
And here's a long one...
3) When you open Report Designer should we see "Group Level" on the right-hand side (if it's checked to show)? Mine (having sapgui 710 at patch 1) was showing just the ruler, but not the "Group Level" areas... is this a gui issue? What's the fix?
[my history of GUI install:
Before upgrade: Sap GUI 640 patch 8
After upgrade: Installed NW4s BEx components only
(then getting dumps in the r3 back-end) so installed SAP GUI 710 from 50083078_4 cd.
Report Designer missing the group level areas... I thought, might as well install patch 01. But that did not help.]

I had a couple issues to 710 with the report designer. i didnt had anything similar to ur issue, but all my default and specifics of format catalog were blacked out and not allowing me to change that. I downgraded to 640 and everything works fine now. (I tried installing all possible latest and greatest on the GUI but nothing worked and it costed me a whole day to acknowledge the fact)

Historical Reports Link Missing in Admin Console Menu

Hi,
We have a weird situation in a new installation. In Admin Console Menu Historical Reports Link does not appear. I have checked WIN table, it seems ok, there is a row for Historical Report, also all records about historical reports inside xlWebAdmin.properties and xlDefaultAdmin.properties files are there.
Any ideas why this link happens to be missing?

I'd bid that the audit module is not installed then. At least in UPA_USR you'd see the row that belongs to the XELSYSADM user. I don't know if you can manually enable it someway.
If you have any free dev machine (or in a VM), I'd advice you to make a fresh install of OIM without the audit module, and see if the resulting system seems to your actual one. Installing in a XP environment under JBOSS won't take you more than 30 minutes.

Report with 65K records

Report outputs 65K records if no selection is made on the variable screen. System generates time out.
I will reduce the number of records by only one plant selection in thevariable screen.
Are there any limitations to the numbers of records in the reports.

Hi,
If you are using BW3.5 system , the report will open in analyzer that is excel sheet which can hold only 65,535 records.
In BI7.0 we can hold more than 1 million.
If system is throwing error like timed out, it may comes under performance tuning issues.
We can do it by 1) creating aggregates
2) partitioning cubes....etc..

1. List: Components, Layout: Standard layout          set the Missing part
       It shows the component requirement/withdrawn quantity for each operation of production order. It is not showing the commit quantity.

If you have more than a year data in your database then your formula will return wrong results. ie. If your data consist of 2012,2013,2014 data then below formula will return all 8th month data irrespective of year. So, you need to check year also here
month({PROBSUMMARYM1.OPEN_TIME})=month(currentdate) and
Year({PROBSUMMARYM1.OPEN_TIME})=Year(currentdate)
Now add Abhilash second statement in OR so, your formula should look like :

GR/IR GL Reporting Issue

1. 30 documents of 2009 were matching and post with clear is perfomred. After performing post with clear also the line items are not moving from open line items. When we download the open line items as of today, these line items are appearing.
2. When we download the ZBLRFIOI report for GRIR a/c 349100 to have the opne line items. we have some set of documents showing as " FI Open items without J2" - This is reporting issues.

Pls try with F.13 for that GR/IR account 349100 by selecting check box select gl accounts
And give Company code, year and pending document numbers in selection screen
And before that pls make sure that OB74 clearing settings maintained or not
It will clear all the open items exists
