Report Job was cancelled upon user request???

Hi,
My reports take more than 10 minutes to complete, most times I get
"Report Job was cancelled upon user request".
error, how to fix this problem? Is there any time limit inside the report I can set.

There is no limit on the report run time. The most probable reason why you are getting the 'Report cancelled upon user request' message is the users might have hit the "cancel Report" button which is displayed when it is running in 'SYNCHRONOUS MODE'. do not hit that button as it will terminate the report. to increase the speed of returning the results by the report, try improving the sql that you use in the report, or if you have DBA rights try adding in INDEXES on the columns of the tables used by the report.

Oracle Reports Server CGI - Report Job was cancelled upon user request.

I am running reports on the web through Forms using Run_Report_Object built in. I am using Oracle 9iAS Enterprise Edition Release 1(1.2.2.2.2), Forms 6i Patch 9 (6.0.8.18.3) and Reports 6i Patch 9 (6.0.8.18) using CGI implementation. Most reports are running fine, but I have one that produces 125 pages and we are getting the following messages in the browser:
Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Oracle Reports Server CGI - Report Job was cancelled upon user request.
However if you look at the Reports Server Queue Status thru the browser it shows that the report did finish, but it took 16 minutes. But the user gets the above message in their browser window.
Is there a way to get the first page of the report to display, while the rest of the report finishes, so the browser window doesn't timeout and display the above error?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

one ODS is getting nearly 500000 of records,it is loading master data,here the problem is that in details tab processing process is well all the datapackets are getting fine data,but at transfer tab after processing of infoidocs,dataidocs should be filled,but there it self problem is getting.in status tab its is in yellow status i cant forcibly make it into green.how can i solve this issue.And please give me reply more detaily about RSODSACT tbale details,what are changes can be done by using this table.

Is it poosible to avoid REP-0099 report is aborted upon user request

is there any possibility to get rid of the above said message box, when user decides to not to run the report after actuallyhe called the report using RUN_PRODUCT built-in. some time the users do like this, and when they close the report this message box comes up. any possibility to give up this.

You could start the reports server with batch=yes command line option. No interactive messages will be displayed in that case.

User had just run a payment run when it was cancelled

Hi
We ran a payment run on F110, but the job cancelled because the user was set to locked by accident. No payments have processed, but the payment run icon shows the payment run is complete The log in F110 shows the payment run job was cancelled. When we tried to create a new proposal the payments in the canceled payment run did not appear. Please advise, can we use reorganise the payment run to delete the run and then create a new proposal and payment run, or is there any other option to process the run that has been cancelled. Is there a programme that will rerun the cancelled job or rerun the payment run.

Payment Posting and Update Terminations.
To check for, analyze and determine how to correct terminations, use the following menu path from F110:
'Edit>Payments>Termination of Posting'
You may drill down on the "ERR" (error) notifications to get details. Once corrections are made, processing can be restarted and followed to completion.
The menu path 'Edit>Payments>After Termination>Draw up again' may be used to restart the entire payment run from the point where processing has stopped, if permitted according to the run status.

An old macbook running 10.6.8 was restored using Time Machine then Snow Leopard was reinstalled and updated to 10.6.8. Now the machine is slow and repair disc permissions results in a cancelled by user message.

Our old macbook was getting a gray screen with flashing ? on bootup. Eventually I restored it using Time Machine then decided to reinstall Snow Leopard since it would not boot. Machine now boots but is slow. Ran repair disc and tried to run repair disc permissions but got a message that it was cancelled by user.
This machine is at least 6 years old and I just want to limp it along until I can afford to replace it in the spring.

You may be smelling it because with the new OS the processor is having to work harder causing it to get hotter then it would with the other OS. I can't say there is nothing wrong, but what could be happening is just that, it's getting hotter so the fan is spinning faster and moving more air so you are getting more of the smell then you would before. I would still continue to back it up, and take it to the Apple Store at a Genius Bar and have them look at it to make sure. Was the computer ever in a smoky environment??

Temporary error "A Crystal Reports job failed because a free license ..."

Hi all,
We coded with VS 2003 a .NET 1.1 application which using the Crystal Report 9 Redistribution package .NET ready to display reports from measured data from our device. The data is stored in a SQL Server 2000 MSDE. Crystal Report has his own DB connection to the SQL server to read the data to display the report.
Our application runs well on approx. 100 distributed installations. But on six customers installation we get this error. Actual on two customers PCs using the same DB we get the error "A Crystal Reports job failed because a free license could not be obtained in the time allocated.". This error pop up every time, when the report is shown. Although the report get shown completely.
I observed in the 'Windows Event Viewer => "System" log after the above-mentioned error following entry "Crystal Report job was delayed 2 (sec)." once for every time when the user requested a report.
I restored an empty DB on customers PC and the error don't pop up anymore.
All CR .NET assemblies have the version 9.2.3300.0. I tested also the "CrystalReportNET_keycodefix.zip", but it doesn't help. I had checked for hours all the issues about this error message on the internet. I tested the most fitting solutions, but not one fix the problem.
I tested customers full DB on my Virtual Machine with same installation, but I don't get the error.

Thanks for your answer. I checked all the things you asked me to do on both system. 
 
Here are the results from my investigations: 
 
1) The keycode.dll was not on the not working PC. 
I copied it to the root of C: as on the working PC. I registered it with regsvr32.exe and tested the issue. 
=> The problem still exist. 
 
 
 
2) I compared the keycode on both system:

But I tried to install SP7 on my PC and on customers PC, but I got following error after I accepted the license agreement in the setup.exe: titlebar of window 'Information', Msg: 'Failed to create Backup folder -110' and just a button 'OK'. I got into an infinit loop and I could only end the process: 'IKernel.exe'. 
Remark: I get the same error with SP5 and SP6.

Hi Friends,
Today I have installed the Release 12 in the Red Hat AS 4.0. Installation was successfull.
All the Concurrent Managers are up and running.
I have run some requests in the Paybles, Receivable..
Requests are running for hours..all are standard reports...
even
Active Users Request is running for hours..there is no end...
Friends...
How to trouble shoot it???????????

Ans: As this is a fresh installation. This is first time to run the requests. After installation, when i run the requests, I got error like libmawt.so is not opened. I have given libmawt.so file path in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH. After setting libmawt.so in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH. this time I did not before error. but request is running for hours..there is no end.
Have you tried to recover the CM from OAM?
Ans: ya, I tried, but not helpful.
Tracing should be helpful, did you try to run CM Diagnostics test?
If you shutdown the CM and submit the request, what do you get?
Ans: I got status as Inactive and no manager

XLR Report Job

I created a new report job in SAP B1 8.8 XLR. Under properties > 'Output' tab, the report job was initially set up as 'save to disk', The report was generated succesfully saved to my hard drive. After that, I tried to change the output to 'send by e-mail'. I went thru the address book and selected my name from the list (I assumed the list is pulling from Excahnge server). The report failed and returned following error message:
- Description: provide sender e-mail address
- Parameter: sender e-mail address
I tried to hard code my e-mail address in the e-mail address field but it's not working as well.
I went into properties > packages and highlighted the report packages line, Clicked 'update parameters' at bottom, Nothing happened. I clicked 'set parameters' and message indicated 'the package contains no parameters'. I thought once I specify the e-mail address info under output tab, it should be good to go. Guess that's not working. Any idea?

Julie is correct. You need to specify sender email address under Tools menu. You also need to type in the full email address instead of choosing from the list.

So it means that you need to check back with the application. If its coming from the MIS than check back what's happening in the file that is given in the error.

Authorisation request for this document was cancelled

Forum,
I have an approval stage and template configured in SAP when a sales order is raised it prompts the user for authorisation. Whilst this is ok'd the order is placed in a 'Draft' status. Upon trying to add one particular order, i get the following message:
The authorisation request for this document was cancelled. The document cannot be added inless the authorisation request is restored.
As he needed to get the order processed. I advised he duplicate the order and re-add it this time ensuring the correct authorisation procedure is carried out.
Why would this occur?

The question u have asked is nor very much clear the first scenario is that once the approval is rejected the document saves in draft well if thats the concern than this is the way the approval procedure is defined that without approval the document should not have any affect on the system whereas rightly said by fellow geniuses u can have multiple person to approve if one is not present other can approve it this would save time and effort for you
The second scenario is that the approval procedure u have assigned gives u the message with one particular document and its fine with rest if thats the case then i would request you please check the query if there is any associated with the approval procedure

I downloaded this example and ran it against the BusinessObjects server I got where

I tried to view a simple report and I got this message. This message appears with any of the reports ones that were already created or ones that we created. The user I am running on is a administrator and if I login to actual server through a web
browser the report works fine.

1. try passing the non encoded token e.g. BOToken = enterpriseSession.getLogonTokenMgr().createLogonToken("", 120, 100);
2. try using getDefaultToken() and see if that works.
3. Have you tried usign openDocument.jsp instread?
4. are you redirecting to this url? 'http://[server]:8080/BOE/CrystalReports/viewrpt.cwr?id='repId'&apstoken=[token]';
Java uses double quote " rather than single quote ' for string declaration.

Infoview: A request was cancelled

When I go into infoview and click on the actual name of the report, instead of clicking "schedule or history" I am prompted with the parameter dialog box right away. I notice there are only 2 parameter dialog boxes when there needs to be 7 parameter dialog boxes.
It appears that there is an older version of the report when you click on the actual name of the report in infoview. But if you go into history or click schedule and select the parameters it shows 7 parameters and that's correct.
When I click on the actual name of the report I go to the parameter screen and select from my two parameter dialog box and then proceed to run the report. After about five minutes of running the report comes back with this error message ...

We use CRXI R2 on our development machines to create reports.
Any thoughts on how to correct this problem?

The parameters in this report are connecting with a stored procedure via the Record Selection screen in Crystal Reports.
I went into CMC and changed the 7 parameters to "Prompt" and this fixed the problem of me not being able to see all 7 parameters before. So now all the parameters are visible when I click on the report name in infoview.
I also tried to run the report in infoview by clicking the report title as I did before and I choose my options for all of the 7 parameter dialog boxes and ran the report. The report takes about 2-3 minutes and comes back with the error....

I ran the crystal report on the server using CRXI R2 and it worked fine. So we know the report is functioning properly.
I almost think this is a security issue, do I need to restart a particular service on the server?

Report Job was cancelled upon user request???
