Reports are blank when opened from Reports Server

I have created a report project in Visual Studio 2013 and deployed a test report to the local reports server (SSRS 2012).
When I preview the report from visual studio it opens well, but when I try opening it from Report Server URL, I can see the report viewer toolbar but once I click "View Report" it shows "Loading" and then a blank page appears.
I then tried to delete the datasource, datasets and delete any report contents and just keep the title, still a blank page is the only thing that appears

According to your description, when you run the report, it displays a blank page.
Based on my research, it has reported the same issue when running the report in Chrome and Safari browsers. If that is a case, you can add the code below to ReportingServices.js file.

Install Packages are blank when opened

I can't seem to install anything that has a packaged installer after I installed a new HDD and upgraded to Mavericks. Upon opening a .pkg file (doesn't matter what it is), it flickers for a brief moment of what you would normally see on the first page of an installer, and then it goes blank or gray. Some examples are attached.
I don't have Java installed and was trying to install it thinking it was that. I don't have a firewall turned on, and I made sure that apps could be downloaded from anywhere:

After the admin user, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

Thumbnails are blank when opening a new tab.

I have tried all the suggestions to get the graphics to show in the thumbnails when I open a new tab. Nothing changes. The panels are there for the thumbnail, the name of the website shows, but there is no graphic or "picture" of the page in the thumbnail. They show up on all my other pcs, and my iMac, but not on this laptop.

Forms Opening is Very slow when opened from Client PC's.

All,
We are running forms application in 10.1.2.0 application server. We have a peculiar issue of slowness while opening forms from client PC's and not while opening from application server itself.
1) When opening the form from a Windows 7 PC it takes around 25 seconds
2) When opening the form from a Windows XP PC it takes around 15 seconds
3) When opening the form from the application server itself it took less than 3 seconds .
In essence all forms when opened from application server are opening very fast and when opened from client PC's it takes undue time. What might be the reason for the same, can anyone help us and we are pondering over this issue for some time. What are the files of interest to be visited for these kind of issues. We enabled tracing level 5 in JRE and could not find any thing fishy over it.
Request application server and forms experts to participate and help us to resolve.

Even if it's a generic issue you need to break it down in smaller parts to actually get a clue what's causing your problem. By now there is nothing we can rule out as the only thing we know is that it's slow on the client PC's.
Building a small dummy form as suggested by Andreas is a good starting point. If the performance is also bad for a small form with one block you can rule out that it has anything to do with forms and it's caused by e.g. your network. If the small form performs well rebuild one of your forms step by step and do tests for each step. By that you should find what's causing troubles.
What you can also take a look at are network roundtrips: You have to set the console window of your forms, and enable networkstats in your formsweb.cfg
networkStats=yesA typical cause for (unnecessary) roundtrips are e.g. calls to the synchronize built in or timers. If you are using Javabeans you should also take a look at them. If you are looking at your network traffic wireshark is your friend ;).

The new iphone4s handset is damanged when opened from pack. The phone was ordered online. What is reson for the same, is it due to lack of quality check.

I suggest you take that up with the carrier that delivered the package. They are responsible for delivery and if it was damaged in delivery, they are responsible. If it doesn't seem the damage occurred because of shipping damage, then contact Apple, describe the problem and they will advise you what to do. Things happen, however, since we are users here just like you we cannot tell you how to handle the situation. I certainly can't tell you the reason it was damaged.

Photos not opening in PS when opened from Bridge. [was:Question]

Photo's not opening in PS when opened from bridge, this has been happening for the last few weeks. I will be working in PS and opening from bridge OK, then suddenly I will open about 6 photo's but they only show the tabs at the top of the screen but no photos. I have to close PS and reopen before they show. Can anyone help it is driving me crazy. Tks

Small Window when opened from UWL

We are using HCM Form & Processses and our forms is approved by multiple levels
We notice that when forms are opened from Universal worklist, the window to view form appears in a 1 inch box (Impossible to view) This is also specific to certain users.. Most of other users see the form is launched in a window where we can see the content clearly.
Has anyone faced / resolved such issues? What in client machine can control the window size when opened from UWL?

PNG files are grainy when opened in Illustrator.

Files that I create in Photoshop and save as PNG files are grainy and colored incorrectly when opened in Illustrator. The files are fine when opened in other programs. Please see the pictures below to illustrate my point. These are the same file, however, the first is the PNG file that I've saved in Photoshop and the second is how Illustrator renders the file.

It is PNG 24. It's super bizarre. I originally thought it was because the file began as a RAW file, but any file I export as a PNG gives me the same issue when opened in illustrator.

Is it normal that the DataSource field is blank when opening a master data which is also an InfoSouce in InfoSource page.
Just locate an InfoSource which is also a master data or data target where next to which is a green triangle picture icon in InfoSource page, open it, the top part (Commnication Structure) is automatically expended. Expend the lower part "Transfer_Structure/Transfer_Rules", find the DataSource field is blank. This only occurs for an InfoSource which is also a master data which have more than two data loads (e.g., one is attibute, and the other is text load) or there are two InfoPackage loads for this master data. We checked for master data with only one InfoPackage under it (e.g., only text load) and find it's OK that the datasource field is not blank when expending the lower section.

It's not common. If you have three Data Sources like attributes, texts and hierarchy by default attribute data source will appear on the screen and for the rest of the things we need to do dropdown and select. This is how in general it appears.

CS4 all apps are crashing when opening and Mac can't recognize installation CD to reinstall.

All my CS4 Design Suite applications are crashing when opening. Plus, my Mac won't let me uninstall to reinstall as my G5 Mac OS 10.4.11 won't recognize anything much with the Adobe products. I've been using these apps (legal originals) since January 09 with no problem. Recently received an InDesign file from a PC user that must have been corrupt as it started crashing InDesign. Now everything is crashing. Help!

A PC virus can't affect a Mac. I don't even have virus software.
since the software does not work in either account there are 2 possibilities. We know its not corrupt prefs because a new account did not work. we know it not some other corruption in the user account. so we have narrowed it down to the actual software or the OS. If it were the applications one or two of them should work. so I would guess it is some thing to do with the system.
My next step would be to do an Archive and Install of the OS then update. This way you keep all your settings and apps but install a new system and user account. If that does not do it I would reinstall the Creative Suite.

Firefox does not display my customised Adobe Air browser based skin when viewed from a server

Hi,
I have edited the skin for my Adobe Air Browser based help. It appears fine in Explorer and Chrome, but Firefox displays the default black Air skin when viewed from a server.
However, it appears OK when viewed locally on my machine in Firefox?
Does anyone know why this is or if there is a way to make my customised skin display when viewed from a server using the Firefox browser?

Themes are blank when trying to make a card in iPhoto

themes are blank when trying to make a card in iPhoto. Cards appear blank/white, no patterns, no detail. Tried re-downloading the latest update of iPhoto but no difference. Any ideas?

You need to reinstall iPhoto.
Questions:
What version of iPhoto are you running (iPhoto > About iPhoto)?
What version of the Mac OS are you running (Apple > About this Mac)?
General steps:
Remove the following files to the trash:
Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > iPhoto (if present)
Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > NetServices (if present)
Macintosh HD > Library > Receipts > iPhoto (anything with iPhoto in the name)
Macintosh HD > Applications > iPhoto
Insert the iLife install disk you have or the Applications disk that came with your computer and reinstall iPhoto: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2604
Once installation is complete go to the Apple > Software update and repeat this until no additional updates are offered.

LAN was down ie Users are not getting ip from DHCP server after enabling DHCP snooping

Enclosed file has network connectivity diagram.
1. L3 vlan's ie 2,3,4,5 and 6 are configured on ACC-CR1 and ACC-CR2.
2.Trunk is configured between Core switches ( CR1 and CR2) and access switches .VTP mode is transparent on all switches.L2 vlans are configured on all access switches.
3.DHCP is server is located at different location and is reachable over MPLS.
Without enabling dhcp snooping , users connected to access switches (Sw1,sw2,sw3 and Sw4 ) are getting ip address from DHCP server without any problem and everything is working fine.
But users connected to Sw3 and Sw4 are getting ip address from rouge DHCP server which is not pingable from any one of the switch.
So we have configured DHCP snooping for all vlan's on CR1 , CR2 , SW3 and SW4 and "trusted uplink ports" which are connected to WAN routers from CR1 and CR2 and also "trusted uplink ports " of Sw3 and Sw4 which are connected to CR1 and CR2.
As soon we have enabled DHCP snooping and trusted respective uplink ports , users are not getting ip address from remote DHCP server and even users connected to Sw1 and SW2 are facing same issue.
Note : DHCP snooping is not configured on SW1 and SW2.
Why users are not getting ip address from remote DHCP server as soon as we enabled dhcp snooping on Core switches and two access switches ie sw3 and sw4 ? what could have caused DHCP packets to be dropped ? Any idea would be appreciated .

as you say: " HSRP is configured between CR1 and CR2 and Vlans are active on CR1" does it mean there are L3 intrefaces configured in each VLAN on your CR switches and ip hepler-address pointing to the remote DHCP server is configured on each of them?
I know it's difficult in a productive environment but IMHO you need to find out where are the DHCP offers dropped.
Either by enabling DHCP debugging or by capturing packets via Wireshark, e.g.

Hi caesarome I have tried to set it up again by choosing Yahoo from the list of providers - but that just took me into a 'set up Yahoo email' page (sign in or create account) . I couldn't use my sky email address or password in doing that. I now have a new yahoo email account [email protected] that I don't want. On the ipad mail it just shows an empty inbox for my Yahoo email (although my sky email address is still there under settings>mail) - no sent, trash, drafts etc. I have also followed other advice that sets up the email again using 'other' provider but changes the host names under incoming and outgoing mail server to apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com and apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com That hasn't worked either. The iphone (with exactly the same settings that I had on the ipad before messing around) works fine!
