Project Report for One Project Using Excel
Hi,
Is is possible to create a report for one project using excel?
I want to create a pdp with an Excel Viewer web part and have the following tabs with data specific to the one project.
1. Cover
2. Issues
3. Risks
4. Deliverables
I tried passing the ProjUid to an Excel doc via the Excel Query Filter Web Part and was able to filter the Issues lists only but don't know if its possible to filter out the other tabs by using the same paramater. Is this possible?
I have not looked at Odata but was wondering if it was possible to pass a paramater to the odata query and still have the spreadsheet work in a web view in SharePoint?Hi,
I'd say that as far as you promote the Proj UID field as a filter in all sheets of your Excel workbook, using the Excel
Query Filter Web Part should work fine. But testing it should be easy, since you already did half of the work.

Hi Experts,
Please may I get some guidance, I have a course work project as I am studying BW and I need to produce a report for a SD case. The report needs to show the following:
Characteristics
Sales Organization
Delivery Date (From/To)
Shipping Point
Sales District
Vehicle Route
Vendor/haulier
Key Figures
Delivered Qty (Volume)
Delivered Qty (Weight)
Delivered Qty (SKU)
Shipment Cost Value
I am taking the following steps to find the above:
1. In R/3 > SD look at datasources to find the fields required.
2. Once datasources have been identified to transfer to BW and activate the business content
3. Identify the cubes used by the datasource (AWB>Infosource and look at dataflow for the datasources I found containing required fields).
For any GAP analysis identified I will provide field, table and user exit for ABAP programmer.
Are these the correct steps? Have I missed anything? Also could someone please provide a template document I can use to write up the requirements as a blue print?

As a starting point is it helful to look at Christopher Solomon tables and check for fields in SE11?
Also, any tips for report layout/ blue print?

I need a report where I can see the invoices project wise i.e (PS module and SD module)
I am looking for invoices details project wise is there any standard report which I can check that how many invoices have been raised for a particular project or a particular sales order.

You are not getting the fields in FBL5N or not getting the value in them?
If you are not gettng the fields,
1. Go to SM30 - Table V_T021S...
2. Include BSEG-FIelds Sales Order and WBS Element as special fields
3. Generate the transport request and transport it to PRD
4. Execute SE38 - RFPOSXEXTEND in PRD client
Now when you execute the report, it should show you those fields..

Hi,
I developed some reports to show the distribution of resources against duration. Previously, I used the output as ASCII text file and then make an Excel spreadsheet / histogram with the results.
Scenario is:
1- I have several projects which I want to report the distro. of resources on
2- I want to show the distro. of qty. against duration sorted by projects in the same report, i.e. currently the units are shown as 1 single row / month summed for all open projects

KarimIn P6, Under Reports, I look under the "Open Projects" heading, and then "Resource Usage", I start with the canned report RL-06. This is a weekly report, but you only need to adjust the timescale to show daily instead of weekly. In the Report Wizard, not Report Editor, Under the "Group and Sort" Button, it should give you the option to group by "Project" (no "S"). This should fix your issue.

report" is selected...thanks!Not that I would recommend this in most case's but if the
PDF's do not need to be dynamic you could use something like PDF995
and send your page to it as a formatted print job. I had a client
that wanted printouts from Filemaker in PDF so they could Email
them to a list. Had to be automated so we just set up a print
script in filemaker to print to a PDF converter. Don't think it was
actually PDF995 and I do not remember what it was but I mention
PDF995 because I use it at home. You just need something where the
API allows you to specify the location to save too and the name of
the file as part of the printjob. Send the files to a standard
location on your server and trap the name of the file in a
database. Bingo. Easy PDF's.
Of course the alternate option is to auto generate your chart
as a web viewable formatted for print version. As it changes notify
your users with an email link of where to view it and then let them
print their own PDF using PDF995 or other such utilities if they
want to.
And then get back to the Game of Half-Life2 Death Match going
on in the server room. -
Report: user/systems status with change details for a project

Is there a way to pull a report for a project with system status, user status and the details of who made the changes with date and time???

If you have change documents active for status management and project profile then you can get the data from JCDS table directly (changed status and who changed it). Note that you will get the status in SAP internal code and you need to refer TCJ30 table for status. -
Table for Settlement Cost(CJI3) for a project

I have a requirement to develop a report for a project, in that i got a req. to find out the settlement cost for a project.
we have standard report CJI3 to find the settel cost for a project but I am unable to debug the program as it use logical databases(PSJ).
Please advise me and let me know any table or Function module exists for same.

The table /s you are looking for could be one of these;
RPSCO Project info database: Costs, Revenues, Finances
COSP: Cost Object: Cost totals for external postings
COSS: Cost totals for internal postings
COSB:Total variances
COBK:Document header
COEP: Line items
You may need more than one table to meet your requirements.

Report for Project Stock Balances as on a previous Date
Hi PS Gurus !!
We need to have a Report that gives the Project Stock Balances and Values as on a Past Date. The system gives a Current Status Report, but is there a Report that gives the Values for Past Date. This is a report for the Auditor's Interest.
Secondly, we would also need a Report on the Movement of Project Stock in the past periods. Is this possible ??

Inventory Report For Special Stock (Project Stock)
Dear Sir,
We are in Make -To - Order scenario and procure the material against the WBS element . For getting the Inventory List , we use MBBS tcode but it has following limitation :
a) It give the Stock Status as on date basis . While we need Stock Inventory on a cut off date , say on
31/Jan/2007 .
b) We are not able to get the Inventory Report , Material Group wise
I request to kindly guide me , as how to take the Inventory Report for Project Stock .

Report for two sponsors on one project
I would like to make report for two sponsors: Each of them want to see only a Cash flow (Budgeted Expense Cost and Actual Expense Cost) that is related to him/her.
It is possible to do something similar in two ways:
1. Activity Usage Spreadsheet - Spreadsheet Fields - Time interval - Cost - Budgeted Expense Cost and Actual Expense Cost
2. Activity Usage Profile - Activity Usage Profile Options: Filter by bars/curver (Expenses); Show Bars/Curves (Budgeted and Actual)
while Timescale: Show primary Dates (Type - Calendar; Date interval - Quarter/Months).
But in both way Expenses are grouped together and it is not possible to differentiate who is financing what.

Explorer, the steps will be:
1) One writer works on his/her computer's local drive and the
other writer works on his/her computer 's local drive (no shared
drive).
2) Each writer creates an Image folder on his/her computer's
local drive
3) Each writer captures (Snag-it) images from the
application, opens the captured image in Photoshop and sizes the
new image file to match the size and width, border, etc parameters
of the image in the current Help's HTML code. (writer will have to
view HTML code to get image size)
4) Each writer will copy the new image files into his/her
local drive-based Image folder--giving the new image the same name
as the image that is being replaced).
5) The image files in the first writer's Image folder are
then copied to the Image other writer's Image folder.
6) The new Image folder containing all the new image files is
copied into the RoboHelp source directory, overwriting the old
Image folder.
7) The writer with the new Image folder (containing all the
new images) then generates and publishers the RoboHelp project.
Is this correct? -
PS - Tracking report for Project

I was needing a tracking report to check at least 3 months of changes to a project t code because I have to rectify it? This is my main problem The overall budget should be 2818 111 USD. the available balance for 2010 should have been carried over in 2011, however the overall showed 218 752 USD
Someone knows anything about it?

CN60 is for change documents for a project.
For changes related to budget check CJI8 report.
