Requisition reference in PDOI - IMPORTANT

All,
version: 11.5.10.2
We have a requirement to push the PO's created in a legacy appln to ORacle 11i. Since Oracle has provided standard open interface for PO I decided to use it. Moreover we used Requisition interfaces for req export to oracle. Now I need to refer the requisition id's/number thru the PO interfaces. But I could see only REQ_DISTRIBUTION_ID field in PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_INTERFACE table. Is that the only field available to refer the req, or can we also refer REQ Number in any of the po interface tables? Did anyone come across this scenario? IF so, please share your thoughts
thanks in advance
sen

Were you able to successfully link requisition to po using PDOI? Or was it just reference should on PO? Did you checked if req_distribution_id actually got populated in tables of po_distributions_all?
As per metalink note 1082985.1 seems we can only establish reference but not the link.
Can you or anyone please suggest way out for linking requisition to PO which I need to create based on file coming from legacy system.
Thanks

  • Maintaining internal word cross references in word import

I'm using RoboHelp 9.0.1 trying to import Word 2007 (docx) in order to generate a WebHelp. I have adjusted my style mapping in order generate an appropriate TOC with books and matching sub chapters, which works fine. However, internal Word cross references from the original Word document are not transformed into hyperlinks.
I have already tried/verified the following:
    - The "convert cross references to hyperlink" option is checked in the RH-Word import settings.
    - I also tried fiddling with the Framemaker options as it is suggested in another thread (see beneath), with no success.
    - Within the Word source document I tried both options with "use hyperlinks instead" when creating cross references.
    - The RH-HTML source, in all of my attempts, does not show any links in the corresponding locations.
What may I be missing here? According to another, similar thread, the feature should work and is really not that challenging:
"RH9 - Can not create ANY links in linked Word documents"
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/854095?tstart=0

In my testing, I got a link in the RH topic, but it wanted to launch the target Word doc instead of jumping to the desired RH topic. I'd say this sounds like a bug - so go ahead and report it.

  • Create contract with Purchase Requisition reference using BAPI

  • Purchase order with purchase requisition reference

    Hi All,
I want to make config in system such that it should not allow me to create purchase order without purchase requisition.
Can anyone guide me to resolve this issue.
Which config i should do for this?
    Regards,
    Deepak.

    Hi,
please consider that the system is not coded to have the PR field MEPO1211-BANFN to be set to required.
The field BANFN cannot be made a required entry in ME21N. However you can use "Function Authorizations" (OMET) to restrict the user to only order with reference to a purchase requisition.
As both the agreement field and purchase requisition fields are reference fields they are populated when created in reference and thus the system would not accept attempting to make them a mandatory field.
Please use the OMET transaction and the PID EFB to accomplish your desired functionality.

  • Reference vs. Importing; Saving modified referenced files; Phanfare

I just switched from PC to MAC. Previous editing was limited to Kodakgallery and Canonzoombrowser, and all photos were stored in folders and any edits modified the original (or I could create a new version). My goal is to be organized and efficient - my purpose for pictures is to share online (phanfare) with family and friends - so more "documentary" and less "artistic".
I'm new to Aperture, and I want to know if I should reference the library (and keep storing in Finder as files - so that I can continue to organize by YEAR - MONTH - EVENT. Or, will Aperture be better (for my purposes) for organizing?
Next - editing. I like "auto-enhancing" all of my pictures, cropping to best fit, and correcting red-eye. In the end, I want to keep the modified picture and delete the less-attractive original. For any photos that I "play" with by changing to black and white and using other aperture enhancement features, I don't mind just having aperture create a version and keeping the original. What do you suggest for me to do??? Can aperture do this??? I would prefer to use ONE method to manage/enhance pics - trying to streamline my life.
Also, for any "versions" created by Aperture - can you access those through folders or can you only access them through Aperture.
Finally - for uploading to Phanfare - will Phanfare retain titles created in Aperture (I like to "title" all pictures - because again, I'm more of a documentary picture taker. I end up creating a sort of blog for family/friends to follow our life. The enhancements I do mostly for framing, creating scrap books, and other artistic products). And second, when I upload to Phanfare - will it upload only the masters or will it also upload the modified files???
ANY ADVICE IS MUCH APPRECIATED! I'm new to MAC, Aperture/iphoto, and Phanfare - but I THINK those are the best way for me to go for what I'm looking for.... Thoughts??? THANK YOU!

    The key concepts are:
-- You use Aperture, not the Finder (Explorer on a PC) to manage your images.
-- You manage images, not files. As you manage images, not files, you are not limited to one organization; you can have several at the some time - thus you can organize your images by date AND subject, not just one or the other.
-- You can dump all of your FILES into a "managed" library (what I do) in which case your files will be neatly organized by date of import. Or, as Sierra Dragon strongly recommends, you can organize the files anyway you want in a "referenced" library. In any case, remember, the physical arrangement of files on disk has nothing to do with the logical arrangement of images in Aperture. Get this straight and you are halfway home.
Next - editing. I like "auto-enhancing" all of my pictures, cropping to best fit, and correcting red-eye. In the end, I want to keep the modified picture and delete the less-attractive original.
You can do this, but why? Aperture is designed to protect your original from ever being physically modified while still allowing you to create a virtually unlimited number of "versions" with only a tiny overhead on disk. AND, you can undo what you have done at any time.
See above. Aperture does all of this, and more, automagically. You are worrying about physical file management; pay attention to the photos, not the files. And certainly, there is no reason to worry about red eye, etc., before loading into Aperture - Aperture's tools for this sort of thing are excellent.
Also, for any "versions" created by Aperture - can you access those through folders or can you only access them through Aperture.
An Aperture "version" is a tiny, 30 KB file; actually, the preview is likely to be larger. In any case, you see, manage, and "adjust" your images in Aperture, not the Finder.
I use PBase, not Phanfare, but I suspect that the concept is the same:
    -- Load image into Aperture.
    -- Adjust as desired.
-- "Export" a low resolution JPEG for the web to your Desktop or similar folder. (An export creates a copy.)
-- Upload those JPEGs to Phanfare.
-- Once the image is on Phanfare, DELETE the exported copy. Aperture still has your original and any versions you created. With Aperture, you save the originals and dump the copies; you can always make more.
ANY ADVICE IS MUCH APPRECIATED! I'm new to MAC, Aperture/iphoto, and Phanfare - but I THINK those are the best way for me to go for what I'm looking for.... Thoughts??? THANK YOU!
My workflow is very similar to yours. The key thing is that Aperture protects your originals (and your edits) against re-compression or any other form of damage. Web images need only be relatively low res and there is no reason to garbage up your disk with them - export 'em, upload 'em, delete 'em. Repeat as needed.
Hope this is clear enough to be helpful.

  • How to use reference parameters (BAPI Import Parameters) in SQL statements

    Dear SAP gurus
I have a question on using parameters passed in a custom BAPI in SQL statements.
I am sending 2 parameters  TABLENAME, COLUMNNAME into a custom bapi.
In the BAPI I need to give an sql command some thing like
select * from TABLENAME where COLUMNNAME = '100'.
Where TABLENAME and COLUMNAME may vary depend on what parameters are sent while calling this BAPI.
Even defining an internal table that has the structure of TABLENAME is not working.
I used the following statement 'data: ls_TABLENAME type TABLENAME', which generates error message saying TABLENAME is unknons.
Any feedback will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ram

As far as I know you can not give parameter to a select query like that. You should describe the tablename and the columnname as string type.  Then assign the values to them you want to use in query.
    data: str_table type string.
    data: str_column type string.
    select * from  (str_table)  into  <g_t_table>  where (str_column)  = '100'.
If the table name is not determined until runtime, you must specify an output area with INTO .

  • Journal Import References

    Hello,
I am using the follwoing code to import a journal to GL:
    INSERT INTO GL_INTERFACE
         (STATUS, SET_OF_BOOKS_ID, USER_JE_SOURCE_NAME,
         USER_JE_CATEGORY_NAME, ACCOUNTING_DATE, CURRENCY_CODE, DATE_CREATED, CREATED_BY, ACTUAL_FLAG,
         CURRENCY_CONVERSION_DATE, USER_CURRENCY_CONVERSION_TYPE, CURRENCY_CONVERSION_RATE,
         CODE_COMBINATION_ID, ENTERED_DR, ENTERED_CR,
         REFERENCE10)
    VALUES('NEW', i.set_of_books_id, i.je_source,
    i.je_category, i.accounting_date, i.currency_code,
    SYSDATE, i.user_id,'A',
    i.accounting_date, DECODE(i.currency_code, 'USD', 'User', 'Corporate'), DECODE(i.currency_code, 'USD', 1, NULL), i.code_combination_id, i.entered_dr, i.entered_cr,
    i.description);
The thing is that I need to put a description that appears in gl_je_headers and not only in gl_je_lines, does anyone know which column has to be filled to achieve this?
    Thanks

Refer GL User guide. It Explains all reference columns like
REFERENCE1 (Batch Name): Enter a batch name for your import
batch. Journal Import creates a default batch name using the
following format: (Optional User–Entered REFERENCE1) (Source)
(Request ID) (Actual Flag) (Group ID). If you enter a batch name,
Journal Import prefixes the first 50 characters of your batch name
    to the above format.
REFERENCE2 (Batch Description): Enter a description for your
batch. If you do not enter a batch description, Journal Import
automatically gives your batch a description using the format:
    Journal Import (Source) (Request Id).
REFERENCE4 (Journal entry name): Enter a journal entry name
for your journal entry. Journal Import creates a default journal
entry name using the following format: (Category Name)
(Currency) (Currency Conversion Type, if applicable) (Currency
Conversion Rate, if applicable) (Currency Conversion Date, if
applicable) (Encumbrance Type ID, if applicable) (Budget Version
ID, if applicable). If you enter a journal entry name, Journal Import
prepends the first 25 characters of your journal entry name to the
    above format.
REFERENCE5 (Journal entry description): Enter a description for
your journal entry. If you do not enter a journal entry description,
Journal Import automatically gives your journal entry a description
using the format: Journal Import – Concurrent Request ID.
REFERENCE6 (Journal entry reference): Enter a reference name or
number for your journal entry. If you do not enter a journal entry
reference, Journal Import automatically creates a journal entry
    reference called Journal Import Created.
REFERENCE7 (Journal entry reversal flag): Enter Yes to mark
your journal entry for reversal. If you do not enter Yes, Journal
    Import automatically defaults to No.
REFERENCE9 (Journal reversal method): Enter Yes to use the
change sign method, No to use the switch debit/credit method.
REFERENCE10 (Journal entry line description): Enter a
description for your journal entry line. If you do not enter a
journal entry line description, Journal Import uses the subledger
document sequence value. If there is no document sequence value,
Journal Import creates a journal entry description called Journal
    Import Created.
    REFERENCE21 through REFERENCE30: Enter a reference name
or number to further identify your import journal entry lines.
Columns REFERENCE21 through REFERENCE30 map into
columns REFERENCE_1 through REFERENCE_10, respectively, of
    the GL_JE_LINES table.
REFERENCE3: Do not enter a value in this column.
REFERENCE11 through REFERENCE20: Do not enter a value in
    this column.

  • Generating a List of References in FM12 to include External Cross-References and Imported Graphics, but no Imported Graphic references show in the LOR.  Is this a bug in FM12 or what am I doing wrong?

and has always generated the list of references just fine.  Now in FM12, the LOR no longer will give any references for the Imported Graphics.  I have even tried creating a new chapter from the FM12 templates, adding the chapter to the front of the book, and allowing FM12 to use that file as the template for the LOR.  Still no success - it will not give any references to the Imported Graphics in my chapter files.  Is this a bug in FM12?  Is there something different about FM12 that would cause this not to work with existing FM11 files???  Please help, I need this resolved and working.
    Thank you,
    Beverly

    Arnis and Jeff,
Thank you both very much for your assistance.  I was able to figure out why the Adobe Application Manager kept failing on installing the patches.  Idiot me didn't unzip them first.  Once I unzipped the patch files, the installer worked fine.  Both patches are now successfully installed; my FM version is now 12.0.2..
To answer some of your questions:
Yes, I have administrator privileges on my PC.
Yes, I had all of the files in the book opened when I generated and/or updated the LOR file.  So that was not the issue.
With the patches installed, I opened a book and all of its files.  I updated the LOR and all works fine – it gives me all of the Imported Graphic references. So there must have been an issue with that release of FM12 (12.0.0.329), which was fixed with the patches.
Again, thank you both for your help!
    Best regards,
    Beverly

The Purchasing Documents Open Interface updates blanket purchase agreements and catalog quotations
    by doing the following:
First, it identifies the catalog quotation or blanket purchase agreement that needs to be updated by
comparing the supplier document number (VENDOR_DOC_NUM in the PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE table)
or document number (DOCUMENT_NUM in PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE and SEGMENT1 in PO_HEADERS_ALL)
with the existing supplier document number (VENDOR_ORDER_NUM for a blanket agreement,
or QUOTE_VENDOR_QUOTE_NUMBER for a catalog quotation in the PO_HEADERS table).
The supplier (VENDOR_ID or VENDOR_NAME) and document type (DOCUMENT_TYPE_CODE) must also match.
The Purchasing Documents Open Interface matches only to currently or future-effective documents that are
    not canceled or finally closed.
Its important to note that it is necessary to supply DOCUMENT_NUM in the PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE when trying to
update blanket purchase agreements which has not been created through the PDOI.
For documents created through PDOI, VENDOR_DOC_NUM can be specified in the PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE.

  • Best Practice while creating Contract, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order

    Hi
What is the best practice with respect to Contract & Purchase Requisition?
IN T Code ME31K, there is a button Reference to PReq, meaning that we can create contract with using Purchase Requisition. (We have done the same)
While creating the Purchase Order using Contract, we could find Purchase Requisition reference in the Purchase Order; similarly when we created the Purchase Order using Purchase Requisition, we could find Contract reference in the Purchase Order.
    I have done the following:
    1. Create a Contract.
    2. Create a Purchase Requisition
    3. Assign Requisition and Create Purchase Order using T Code ME57.
    4. Create Purchase Order
Here in this case we could find references of both Contract & Purchase Requisition.
I just want to know what Practice should we adopt / advise while creating Contract, Purchase Requisition. & Purchase Order?
    Regards,

    Hi,
In ME51N Screen, enter Contract number in the "AGREEMENT" TAB and if more items in the contract, you can mention the item number in the next TAB to the AGREEMENT TAB and then proceed with creating PR by entering other details. This TAB you can find in the 4th column from extreme right end of PR screen.

  • Export/Import Project still buggy in v2.1.3

After seeing the update notes for v2.1.3 and noticing references to project importing, I started to get excited that maybe the bugs have been ironed out. Unfortunately my longstanding bug still remains.
If anyone can think of any workarounds I'd be extremely grateful...
I have a 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo MacBook Pro with 2GB RAM, running OS X 10.5.6 and now Aperture 2.1.3
I have a project with many images, arranged into stacks, a pick in each stack with many adjustment and a 62-page book created from these picks. There are also some smart albums and a light-table.
Now I export the project (i.e. in the Project Inspector I right-click the project and choose Export > Project) to a file on the desktop and rename the existing project in Aperture. I now import the saved .approject file and I find that all my Picks are no longer Picks and my book is therefore no longer made up of my desired images. (I've tried this many times now and ruled out the possibility of a corrupt export file).
As a result, when I select the Book I get the "Non-Pick Images" dialog with the dreaded "One or more placed items are no longer the pick of a stack." message. "Use Current Pick" ruins the book - I have to go through and work out all the picks again (and also re-pan all the images within the Photo Boxes as this data has also been lost). "Create new Version" appears to preserve my book's original look, but my project now contains a couple of hundred more images than it used to and my other albums and light-table still have incorrect images shown as the Picks.
Does anybody have any ideas of what I can do to ensure the stack-picks are preserved during the export/import process?
(By the way, the reason I'm exporting and then re-importing is because I actually want to do the export from my laptop where the project is and then the import on my main work machine where the rest of my Aperture library lives, but that fails for the same reason, so I'm doing the export+import on my laptop for now to reduce the number of variables in the problem.)

I go with the assumption that you now know how to create transport sets. After having created a transport set containing the objects you want to be exported, go to the administer tab under the main page of portal. There you will find the Export/Import portlet. Here you need to choose your transport set from the first LOV and then click EDIT to choose the "Security Option". Now you export out the stuff. This will export all the user page customizations for you.
    Thanks.

  • %@ page import="..." % does not seem to be working correctly

    Hi,
I am running Weblogic 6.1 sp1 and I am having a problem with import page
directive. <%@ page import="my.package.*" %> does not appear to be working
correctly when I try to reference classes in imported packages (my.package,
              etc.) from the useBean tag.
The following code works with Resin, but not Weblogic:
              <%@ page import="my.package.*" %>
              <jsp:useBean id="errorBean" class="ErrorBean" scope="request"/>
If, I take out the page directive, and change the useBean tag to:
              <jsp:useBean id="errorBean" class="my.package.ErrorBean"
              scope="request"/>
then the page compiles and runs just fine.

But I agree with you, the excerpt you posted seems to include the

  • RFC to SOAP Scenario - WSDL-Import really needed?

    Hey @all,
we like to feed a webservice via SAP Backend. As middleware we use SAP PI 7.1.
The planned scenario is RFC to SOAP. The wsdl of webservice (NON-SAP) has no filled soapAction-Parameter and the operation with name "process" occures three times in it with the same name, but each operation "process" has it's own Request / method (axis), like "Request1", "Request2", "Request3". Each request has it's own response.
In this case it is not possible to import the wsdl as external references correctly - the import gaves an error caused of the identical names of the three operation-parameters.
    The question is:
Is it possible to work this out without the import of wsdl and without soapAction-Parameter?
How could we call the correct operation?
    Thanks very much in advance,
    Stefan

    Hi,
Maybe you could try to editing the WSDL and import it three times e.g for process (1) here is the WSDL (1) --> Make sure you delete the other process.
Make message mapping for each process and its corresponding response. So that would be, 6 message mappings (request and response) and 3 operation mappings.
In Integration Directory, call the correct operation in Interface Determination by using xPath.
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/XpathConditioninReceiverDetermination
although the blog above is for receiver determination, the xPath conditions for interface determination are the same.
For the without SOAP Action parameter, I guess it is okay to leave blank. I have not used the SOAP Axis though (I used the PLAIN_HTTP adapter for that). Just to be sure, test it in SOAP UI.
    Hope this helps,
    Mark

  • How to import catalog structure in other machines.

    Hi,
        I have two queries.:-
1).   I have a Clothing Catalog on my machine which I created in ACC. How do I import this catalog structure in other machines as well.
2).  How to specify CatalogId in my project if I have multiple Catalogs in my project.
For a single Catalog I used to mention catalog Id in catalogTools.properties in /atg/commerce/catalog/catalogtools.properties as :-
             defaultCatalogId=catalog30001
How to I do it for multiple catalogs.
    Please Advice.
    Thanks

    Go to dyn/admin compoent path,
say in this case u created catalog data from acc, Go to /atg/commerce/catalog/productCatalog compoent
and run <export-items item-descriptors=""/> Provide item descriptors name. under  'Run XML Operation Tags on the Repository' section.
It will export all data for given component and it's dependancies.if u wan to disable dependancies specify skiP-references="true"
To import and export data u can use /ATG_HOME/bin/startSQLRepository command only in dev envirnoment.
    startSQLRepository- m ModuleName -export/import export_file_name -repository repository_component_full_path
    eg:-
    startSQLRepository -m YourModule -export export.xml -repository /atg/commerce/catalog/ProductCatalog
    startSQLRepository -m YourModule -import export.xml -repository /atg/commerce/catalog/ProductCatalog
Please make sure you module is able to connect to database,Otherwise jtdatasource exception will come, saying not able to connect datasouce atgmysqldb(default db configured in jtdatasoruce property)
Also if u want to export complete db,Use all argument.
startSQLRepository -m YourModule -export all export.xml
       2. U have multiple options to set catalogid in profile.
use multisite and assign default catalog to individual sites,
assign catalog to regiestered user profile.
Use scenario to assign catalog to profile based on some rules.

  • Automatic import mass data regional structure -  Program RSADRLSM01

    Hello,
regarding the automatic import mass data to the regional structure via
program RSADRLSM02, we are working in order to replace our third party
    provider.
That is why, we need to deleted all the data imported from the city
file and the references before to import new provider data.
We have checked the SAP procedure defined in SAP note 132948 and the
mentioned program RSADRLSM01 but we need confirm that the regional estructure informed in the old documents saved in the system could be impacted if the program RSADRLSM01 is executed.
Any experience in this kind of process?
    Thanks in advance.
    Juan Carlos

Since no one has replied - why not just try this in your test system and see what happens?
