Restarting BPM Automatic

Hi,
I have some that fall by BPM timeout communication between XI and R3 (180 seconds).
With the transaction SWF_XI_SWPR I relaunch these messages manually, what I want to know is whether it is possible to automate this action through a JOB or something similar.
Best Regards.
Julian

Regards Ravi.
His document aims rather as a loose manage a workflow where a user gives approval processes and there is development through to its implementation.
I was looking for information about how to relaunch syncs messages that fall mistakenly communication between XI and R/3
Com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.MessageExpiredException: Message 4720d9fb-e721-0191-0000-0000c0a809cc (INBOUND)
I think that there is this mode, unless it develops.
Best Regards

At Grid Infrastructure installation time system configuration is modified so that UNIX init daemon restarts OHASD: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/rac.112/e16794/intro.htm#BABIDEFI. For example with Oracle Linux 5 and Oracle RAC 11.2.0.1 you have following line in /etc/inittab:

After power down and a cold restart, I automatically restart in my Administrator Account.  Running 10.8.4 with one Administrator account, one user account and one guest account.  Recently downloaded and installed 3rd party software (Panorama).  Installation required that I create a super user named Other with root privileges. I did so and successfully installed the 3rd party software.  I powered down a few days late and when I restarted, I went automatically to my Administrator account with no login password required.  I deleted the Other account, powered down and restarted with the same result - opened in Administrator.   I then followed the steps to disable root user, powered down, cold restart - same result, opened in Administrator account.
Any suggestions?  Any thoughts?  Much appreciate any help you might offer.

  • Error while restarting BPM which falied in Queue & status is sysfail

    hi all,
We are trying to restart the BPM which failed with status as SYSFAIL using 'Execute LUW'.
Error coming is 'Function module does not exist or EXCEPTION raised'
How can we restart such messages?
    Thanks,
    Mayank

    Hi Mayank,
i think if there is an error occured in the BPE processing then you might have to restart that work item from SXMB_MONI_BPE.
so in SXMB_MONI_BPE-continue process following error, check if the integration process is having error in any of the steps and restart it if possible. Afterwards we would be able to restart the BPM queue from SMQ2.

  • Restart BPM from SXMB_MONI

    Hi Experts,
Can you please let me know if it is possible to use a step inside a BPM to force the BPM (based on a certain condition) to land up in the specific error status that will allow you to restart it inside SXMB_MONI?
    Thanks and regards,
    Brendon

    Hi there,
can you please give more detail on how one would achive the lookup inside a BPM and make it unavailable?
    Regards,

  • Restart BPM

    Hi all,
Is it possible to restart a BPM even if few of its steps were successful.
We have a requirement where BPM invloves Calling 3 RFC's in sequence. Although the PI system shows that RFC call was successful but it failed on ECC side. So we need to restart that.
Any help will be really appriciated.
    Thanks
    -Kulwant

    Hi,
This reply is for modelling a process using process composer for CE engine.
I now think you question is for PI ? If  yes, please excuse me for this.
There are two options here in your situation,
    1. If your call has failed because of configuration problem, you could try to recover the process by first correcting any configuration problem (because of which ECC call failed) and  then in NWA -> Operation Management -> Process and Task ->Manage Process - you could see the status of the process and if the status is in failed state , then clicking on 'Recover' button would try to recover the process from the failed state. This 'Recover' button itself will be visible if the process is failed state.
Also, please be aware that ' this recover functionality "Tries" to recover the process from the error state - depending on the correctness of the configuration.
    2. Apart from this, you could only cancel the process and then start a new process. Also, in this option please be aware that, the successful operations made during the earlier activities would have the intended consequences in the system.

  • Xperia Z1 keeps shutting down does not restarts, and automatically stops and starts charging randomly

My Sony Xperia Z1 keeps shutting down due to high temperature even though its not overheated, or i am not running any app. It does not restarts even after i give it some time to cool down as it soon again displays the same messege (SHUTTING DOWN DUE TO HIGH TEMPERATURE), then when i connect a charger it automatically starts charging and discharging (even though if the charger is connected and ON) the cell phone
I request you to kindly look into the matter, expedite the situation and suggest me any possible solution asap
also i would request you to not to release any OS updates unless they are fully stable and functional, i have bought this device 6 months back and it has already malfunctioned 3 times which is a serious concern. I cannot keep on updating and repairing my cell phone after every month or so which i feel is very irritating.
Please stop treating these devices as developers guinea pigs

I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..
Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.
    How to backup?
If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.

  • Restart BPM instance

    Hi All,
I use a BPM to send message to a third-party system which is time to time off-line. In my BPM I use a loop to send the message maximumly 10 times. After times, this BPM should end.
I need to manually restart this BPM if the message  is not successfully delivered  to the third-party system after 10 retries . But as I know , a BPM instance can be restarted only when it runs into error status.
So after the loop, I create a bock to raise a exception to make the BPM end with a error if the message is not delivered to the third-party system.    As expected, the BPM instance goes into error status, but I get an error "the workflow cannot be restarted" when I triy to restart it.
    Regards,
    Hui

    HI Hui,
A BP is restartable when the error is not caught by an exception branch or raised by control object. So just let the last attempt of the failing interface raise an error without catching it.
    Kind Regards,
    Frank

  • ABAP Report to restart queues automatically

    Hello,
We are facing the issue of needing to restart the smq1,smq2 and trfc queues to restart messages failed in PI. We really appreciate if anyone could provide us with an ABAP program which restarts these failed messages automatically. We wanted to know if anyone has implemented a solution to deal with this issue.
    Thanks.
    Kiran

    Hi Kiran,
As per as my knowledge, When ever queues are struck in SMQ1& SMQ2 , first we need to check the error, the error its shows the queues (or) any particular message is failed in queue, the remaining messages(processing after error message queue) are also in struck in queue.
In this time first u need to check the error and depends upon the priority of the message is important we will wait for some time (or) prirority is low first u delete the particular error queue and processing the remaining messages.
for this particular error queue we can process again in SXI_MONITOR,in SXI_monitor we check the particular error queue and select the 'Restart' option, again the message is processing.

  • Ipod restarts itself automatically

hi... i don't know what's happening. every time i shut down itunes using the close button, it restarts after about 10 seconds. to shut it down, i have to go to processes in task manager and end the process itunes.exe manually. what is wrong with it?
also, everytime itunes starts up, the volume is at zero.
    what should i do?
    i have ipod version 6.0.4.2

It seems like you've done all the usual things (reset, restore, recharge, etc) and I imagine the lack of response to your post means everyone is stumped. Unfortunately, I think you should return it...again.

  • Networked computer will not join network automatically after restart/sleep

    Situation:
I've got two computers - PowerBook 17" 1,25 GHz, iMac 2,16 GHz 24", both running OS X 10.4.8. They are networked via AirPort Express, firmware v. 6.3, in a WPA protected network. The AirPort distributes ADSL 4 Mbps connection.
Computers are set as DHCP with manual address (to keep stable LAN address)
The problem: While the PowerBook always joins the network after restart/sleep automatically, iMac in such a situation never goes online - the airport status in menu bar is on, the network is checked, but it cannot connect or be reached.
I always have to manually turn airport of from menu bar, then turn it on, then wait about 20 seconds and then manually choose name of my network.
After this procedure iMac is finally online.
    Settings of the AirPort are:
    AirPort tab
    Wireless Security: WPA2 personal
    Channel: Automatic
    Mode: 802/11 g/b
    Internet tab
    Connecting using: Ethernet
    Configure: Using DHCP
    WAN ethernet port: Automatic
    Network tab
Distribute IP address unchecked (no difference when checked - tested)
Any idea how to fix it?
    Thanks in advance!
    PowerBook 1,25 17", iMac 24"   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Thanks a bunch, Duane!
You pointed me to the exact answer.
iMac joins the network automatically now, although I had to change original automatic login of an admin user to manual login page, because after automatic login as one of three users, an error message "Network error" appeared quicker than the actual joining the network, that came a few seconds later.
After manual logging (it probably needed a little more time) it's OK.
Thanks again and greeting from Czech Republic!

  • Do Active Runbooks Restart Automatically on Server Reboot

We have been developing Runbooks in combination with our Service Manager implementation.  We have a Runbook server that has 30 or so active Runbooks.  We have yet to reboot the server since the automation was brought on-line (my fault).
We will need to patch the server at some point in the near future.  So my question is, when the server is rebooted, do I have to manually restart all of the active jobs or do they restart themselves automatically.  I don't have anyway to test this
since the system is operating in a production capacity and I don't want to cause service disruptions.

    Hello,
if a Runbook Server is stopped the other(s) or the Runbook Server itself (if its the only and up again) will restart the active Runbooks from begining.

  • ITunes Restarts Automatically

With the last few releases of iTunes 7.x I've noticed that after shutting it down it will restart itself automatically. My iPod is not connected, and even if it was it is NOT set to "start iTunes automatically when connected". iTunes doesn't restart automatically every time, it just seems to bounce back about every 3rd time I shut it down, and its really annoying if I'm trying to shut down my PC and head out the door quickly! Any ideas?

Yes I 've been having the same problem! I'll quit, or press "apple-q" and within a couple of minutes it starts itself up again! This is getting so frustrating because it is slowing down my Macbook I think. I recently upgraded my iTunes to version 7.3.2 and I don't know how to solve this problem, it only started once i upgraded.
