Restrict the payments according to Doc types while F110 PAYMENT RUN

dears
While doing F110 (Automatic payment run) we want  restrict the payment as - the sytem should  pick only  a particular document type (WE  type)  sitting as open item  or  a particular document type for a particular vendor sitting as as open item?
For example KR DOC types  only need to  pick for a vendor code "XXXXX"
For this what setting is required at FBZP (Automatic payment ment Programme settng) and / or at any other area like XK02 (vendor master data) ?

Hello,
You dont need to make any changes in FBZP or vendor master.In F110, in the "Free selection" tab, in the Field selection do F4, choose Document type & in the values field give the Document type you want to include in the Proposal.
In the next line you can again choose the Field name as "Document type" with exclude tick, you can give the document type you dont require.
Save the proposal & run the payment run.

    Points to add: If you create without reference to an invoice then it would not explode BOM in RE return order because the configuration not set in REN item category.
    As a standard business process return orders always create with reference to invoice.

  • Proactively preventing F110 errors - Accounts are blocked while F110 is running

    I was wondering what other companies are doing to mitigate F110 Payment Run errors in advance.
    We perform some pre-processing to validate proposals.. but an issue we sometimes run into is that a Customer or Vendor Account is locked (typically because someone is in CHANGE mode XD02 / XK02). 
    Other than locking those transactions while F110 is running, are there other options? also, if someone is in change mode and then goes to lunch, this lock won't help .
    When that happens, every single invoice is excluded for that customer/company code combination.
    Are you guys able to mitigate that issue? If so, what did you implement?

    Hi,
    If not a bad idea, you can think of creating a wrapper program which runs F110 in background.
    This program should take payment run date and ID as input and start the payment run.
    Program will check the locks of all the vendors and customers involved in the payment run. If all the locks are free, then it can start F110 background job. If there is a lock, it can keep running till the lock is released and start F110 as soon as lock is released.
    Note: Even this approach might have limitations.
    Say you check lock for vendor 1-no lock
    check lock for vendor 2-no lock
    start payment run-vendor 1 is locked.
    It may fail in this case. So, this is not 100% automated. But works in most of the cases.
    Will keep you posted if some crazy idea strikes my mind

    What I mean from Doc type is like Doc for Meetings, Doc for activity report.

    I'm not sure if I have understood your issue correctly, but let me try:
    1. You want to upload documents to KM
    2. Uploading them, you want to categorize them in some way, so that they can be identified as docs for meetings, docs for unit XYZ, etc..
    3. After upload, you want each doc to end up in a folder according to its category
    If this is what you want, try the following:
    1. Create a custom resource property called "category" or something similiar.
    2. You may define your possible values for that property. This makes it a drop down box containing the possible values in property view. (You can see property view when uploadinga document)
    3. Mark the property as searchable
    4. Create a taxonomy using TREX searching your repository for the given values of your custom property
    Now you can upload documents, fill the custom property, and some minutes later TREX will create a link to the document in the specified 'category folder'.

    while clearing vendor down payment, some down payment entries are posted as ka doc type. now i have to clear the invoice down payment with the ka doc type. how to do this.
    for retention account we booked in special G now that retention money also paid but that doc is not showing as cleared. still it showing in red colour. but balance is nill.  what to do for this..

    Hi once you do the Down payment clearing only 1 & 3 line items will be cleared.
    but 2&4 line items will show as open items .
    This line items you have to clear  .Clear this in F-44.

    It is possible to have seperate document types for cash payment & cash receipts.
    If you are using normal documetn psoting transaction you can define the document type on your own while posting to the doucment.
    If you are using the cash journal, documetn types hv to be specified in the configuration.

    In MIGO transaction , we want to restrict the user on document type i.e. we want that a particular user can  prepare GRN for document type  STO only. He cannot prepare GRN for other document type.

    Have you executed a trace while a functional user executes the transaction code for the specific parameters? (i.e. document type). The trace will then show which objects are being checked; then look at the object documentation in txn Su21 to determine if there are any ways to restrict on the particular value; in some cases, if the authorization group field is being checked, additional configuration is needed in order to implement the security (Su21 will explain in detail for the particular object).

    We want to put restriction in such a way that "one condition type if used should not be allowed to use again for that line item.

    The security code is the CVVN number for the card.  Mastercard and Visa, it is a 3 digit number on the back side of the card near the signature block.  AMex is (i think) on the front.  No idea for Discover..

    By doing the user exit in IW32 we achieved the requirement of restriction of maintenance order TECO functionality if any Service Entry sheet pending with reference of maintneance order.

    Here is a serious problem ,I am currently working in development server ,I was trying to create a new purchase order document type from Standard PO document type .after copid the NB i have done the required change ,but at the time of saving no transport request is cominmg it is direcly saving by the system.I have checked in IDES there it is coming fine.Whatmay be the problem?It is serious problem ,because I canot check in sand box due to I am unable to **** it to Sandbox .Please suggest.

    Use T.code:SCC4, check whether development client setting done for not generating transport request!
    Here,select your development client and double click; system will take to new screen
    Now check u201Cchanges and transport for client specificsu201D Tab and select u201Cautomatic recording of changesu201D and save.

    The storage types during Putaway are proposed based on the strategy defined.
    Change the stcok placement indicator in WM view 1.
    If you have a storage type search strategy defined that matches your requirement, then maintain the same in WM view 1 for the material

    I wrote a job to create a backup. But this seems to work fine in weekdays. After weekends I can't find any backups. History viewer shows only 1 day of history and therefore I can't see what happened to the job in weekends. How can I increase the amount
    of history information from Job activity monitor? And is there a way to trace what happened in weekends? Please advice.

    Have you checked the job current schedule ? is this scheduled for daily ? have you checked the backup location ? how many day backups are exist? is there any recent backups ?
