Restriction of goal / KPI values Weightage to 100% in an appraisal template

Dear All
In EHP4 scenario, How can we restrict the appraisal goal / KPI values weightage to 100% in an appraisal template.
Can we configure or arrive at an solution for -- the weightage calculation of ( Company Goals + Team Goals+ Core Values + Individual goals ) = shoould be limited to 100%.
Kindly suggest.

weightings are controlled when you add the column to the template. 
the application has logic so that it doesn't exceed 100% within the criterion group, each of your sections individual goals, team goals, corporate goals, will be setup as a criterion in your template with a free enhancement.
then at the criterion level you can define weightings on the "element" level of your template. 
so i think the best way you could make this work is with this example:
individual goals = 50%
team goals = 25%
corporate goals = 15%
corporate values = 10%
employee and manager would not have control on the weightings above...
then within each criterion group, as the employee adds things such as individual goals...
they have control..
so goal1  = 10%
goal2 = 20%
goal 3 = 70%
(this 100% reflects 50% towards the overall appraisal weighting)
and then the manager when defining team goals does weightings:
goal 1 = 40%
goal2 = 10%
goal 3 = 10%
goal 4 = 20%
goal 5 = 20%
then similar logic for corporate goals and values...

    Hi,
    The error might be due to making the bind variable as required but not using it in the vo query. Edit the bind variable and make it as optional by unchecking the required checkbox.

    I have implemented two projects for different Operating Units ,
    when navigating to any Projects responsibilty,and navigating the Expenditure Type field
    the values exist are all the values implemented across the OU not the values entered at this OU
    How can i restrict the Expenditure Type values at a specific OU

    Hello
    When you set up a project there is an option called Transaction Control.
    This option allow you to list the allowed or restricted elements of costs for the project.
    You may enter the transaction control on a project template and that will be copied to any new project.
    The cost elements may be expenditure types, expenditures categories, suppliers, employees, etc.
    In your case, I suggest to set up specific project templates for each operating units. On each template enter the list of allowed expenditures types for that OU.
    Doing so, the system restricts users from entering any expenditure item, supplier invoice, purchase cost etc, against an expenditure type, which is not allowed.

       VALUE MAPPING is fine with 10 - 30 values that we can achieve by manual entry, but what to do if the values are about 100 - 200.?

    I had this issue before. I entered 3-4 values and then exported the map as .mte. Edited the .mte file to populate the rest of the values & then re-imported it...

    Unfortunatly, I don't have the option to re-create my SP list.  I have created my KPI list in the same site as the targeted list.  I have made all items available in the list view, I've tried several different list views, I still get the
    An error occurred while attempting to retrieve the KPI value from the list.
    message. 
    I am at a loss here, I've search the internet high a low and haven't found any helpful info. 
    In MOSS 2007 I've created a list with about 24 columns.  I need a KPI based on one of the columns.  I've tried to creat a view with that one column, I've tried to creat a view with all columns
    and make it the defualt column...  I don't know what else to try here.
    Any help would be very appriciated!

  • HOW TO RESTRICT A LOV RETURNED VALUES TO A DEFINED LIST

    Within Purchasing Superuser/Agreements PO Blankets Agreement page I'm trying to restrict the LOV's for the Operating Unit field. This currently lists all the Operating Units per standard functionality.
    However, I want to restrict the list of values on this field and I went into personalisation and found I could set the field to USER PERSONALIZABLE. Further zoom I get to the page as attached and here I would like to define the list of OU's to be restricted to the small set I have in mind. Is this the correct page this happens and could you point to me how I can do this ?

    Since you want changes to the query output, just extending a Controller would not suffice. I agree that extending and thereafter substituting a VO can have impacts across. So my suggestion to you is to first analyze the impacts and in case you find tough with continuing the option, you can look at creating another VO (through Controller) and associating to the region using Controller itself. This is a complicated approach, but should suit your needs well.

  • How to restrict maximum 5 part appraisers in the Appraisal template

    Dear All
    Our requirement is to allow maximum 5 part appraisers in the Appraisal template. Currently the System is calculating & restricting to only 2 part appraisers (as the total columns used is 16).
    Even on using the BADI - Maximum Number of Part Appraisers (HRHAP00_MAX_P_APPER), we are not able to attach more than 2 part appraisers as the defaulted value is overriding the BADI value. This is because as per BADI - Maximum Number of Part Appraisers (HRHAP00_MAX_P_APPER) : The calculated number of part appraisers must always be greater than the desired number of part appraisers. If this is not the case, the system outputs an error message and resets the desired value.
    Also the link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_rc10/helpdata/en/ae/ec6f01d143e141992f22fcf31a7aaa/content.htm says - "In the case of an approval process for a 360° degree feedback, you do not need to restrict the number of part appraisers. In all other part appraisal processes, the system restricts the maximum number of part appraisers". But even in 360° degree template, on selecting 16 columns the system is calculating & defaulting 2 part appraisers.
    Kindly advice how to restrict the no. of part appraisers to 5 when the system is calculating only 2 part appraisers as we are using 16 columns in the Appraisal template.

  • Modify List of Values for Task Numbers in standard webADI template

    We are using webADI to load costs to Projects.
    When User use the webADI template to load costs to the Projects, he has to enter the following data in the template -
    1. Project Number
    2. Task Number
    3. Expenditure Item Date
    4. Expenditure Organization
    5. Amount
    ..... and so on....
    User enter the Project Number first. Based on the selection of the Project Number, the corresponding Task Numbers are seen in the Task Number column.
    Our requirement is, Users should not be able to select the Task Numbers in webADI whose Transaction Dates (Transaction Start Dates and Transaction End Dates) are beyond vis-a-vis the current system date.
    In other words, can we modify the List of Values for Task Numbers in standard webADI template
    Can this acheived.

  • How can I use a date range in a list KPI value expression

    I am trying to create a series of status indicators for a document library in SharePoint 2010. I've made a status list for this. One of the desired KPI's is to show the percentage of documents that must be revised and approved within the next two
    months.
    I have a field which logs the next approval date (last approval date plus one year). In the standard form for the KPI I can set the value expression to return the percentage of documents to be reviewed between [Today] and a date that I fill
    in by hand (see image below). But I haven't yet been able to have the target date (two months from today) change dynamically. Is there a way to have the second date increment via a calculation here? Or do I need to use a recurring workflow to do this?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated - also if this post should be elsewhere. I am not a programmer, and just beginning to learn to make use of many of SharePoint's functions.

    I'm not certain if you can use formulas here but if you can use the standard SharePoint Field Formulas you could try the following:
    For the second date could you just put: [Today]+60 to add 60 days to the current date
    Or to work with actual months you could possibly use: =DATE(YEAR([Today]),MONTH([Today])+2,DAY([Today])) to add exactly two months.

    I have a requirement.When a authorized user logins to view the report, he should see only list of customers assigned to that user in the value help screen, instead of displaying whole master data.and the data is displayed perfectly fine for the authorized sales rep. By default, Value help screen displaying all the customer numbers.

                I got that Idea too. I created a authorized customer, I created a authorized Object and assigned to a role.But in the role, when I am changing the object to generate profile, it is asking to select list of customers from the customer table.If the customers are always constant then this would work,  but in my scenario, customers for the sales rep changes over time and when I ever reps open the query, they should see updated list of customers assigned to them only, as we update the master data everyday from source system and that shud reflect in the value help.
    I am trying User Exit to achieve this, but I am not getting proper ideas how to do this.
    Any Help on this issue with user exit code???

    Hi,
    you can influence fields using BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST. I don't think that you can disable just your field but you should be able to hide whole tab "Conditions". So you can perform your own authorization check in implementation of this BADI and then display or hide tab.
