Returns - not possible delete item

Hello,
I have sales order type Service return (RZS copy from RE) with reference to Invoice (for non stock items REX).
If I want to delete items, system to lockup and is impossible to continue to work.
Whats happend ?

Could you please be more prrecise and clear? In services there is no concept of returns. Which services are there which you are returning? It is just for my knowledge.
For you query do you want system to block deletion of items ordid you delete item and system is not allowing you further processing? If 2nd case is yours then share the screen or message etc you are getting.

Well, there are only 3 possible values I believe... 1 = database default, 2 = retain for custom period and 3 = Retain Until Backup Or Custom Period... However I have seen 2 doesn't work for some reason and if you have database default is not selected
and keep deleted item for x days set to something else other than default and Do not permanently delete items until you back up the database is unselected then it set the value to 5 as well.... I guess other than these possible values if anything else is set
then it will give you warning that object is corrupted.
But yes value is other than 3 then checkbox is automatically deselected set based on what value it has... in short I would check what's the value for deletedItemFlags by setting all the possible options before coming to conclusion... ;)

Vendor Return not possible in Intercompany STO

Hi,
I am getting the following message when I try to tick the Returns Item check box for an Intercompany PO:
No delivery type for returns processing assigned to item 00020
Message no. ME392
Diagnosis
Shipping processing for a returns item is only possible if a delivery type for returns items has been defined.
I have checked the Purchasing data of the vendor master record & in that the Returns Vendor check box is not ticked.

Hi,
For an inter Company stock transfer with order type NB, Standard SAP recommends only to handle the Goods transfer only with Shipping and Delivery and it is not possible to transfer materials without delivery if you are using Purchase order.
Probably this is happening because you are attaching your customer and plant relation ship in the customer master record.
Remove the setting and check for the process.

Partial Return not possible

This query is already being posted in SDN but the solution is not specified. So I thought of reopening it again.
I am using EBP 3.5, classic scenario, BBPCRM SP level is SAPKU35009. My requirement is whenever I try to do a return delivery, it does not allow me to select the item I want to return.
Lets say my shopping cart consists of three items. Now while confirmation, all three items are confirmed in EBP. When i try to do a return delivery here in EBP, the checkbox to select the individual items is disabled. So I am left with no option but to return all the three items even if I want to return only the second one.
I assume this must be the standard functionality but Is it possible to find a solution to this prob? Is there an OSS note available to do the same.
Need your help and advice to solve this.

You can cancel items of a goods receipt confirmation.
It is not possible to effect quantity changes or to cancel items for which open invoice items exist.
When a cancellation document is posted, the relevant values are updated in the order item and the confirmation item. However, status changes do not occur in the confirmation.

Goods return not possible for Del. w/o charge: Mvmt type 511

Hi
I've received free goods from Vendor using movement Type 511. Goods Return with reference to this entry cannot be carried out through MIGO -->Return Delivery.
System issues Error Message MIGO029:"The mvt type in the reference docmt cannot be converted".
One possible reason is:
"No subsequent movement type has been defined".
I've checked table T156N and in fact there is no Return Delivery customizing entry on the follow-on movement type nor can I seem to add it to the table.

As per standard SAP system, for this movement type - 511 only 512 (reversal movement type) is supported.
In SPRO --> Materials Management --> Inventory Management --> Movement types --> Copy, change movement types -- for movement type 511 --> reversal/follow on movement types....against movement type 512 was configured.
As 122 return delivery movement type is not configured you are getting that error.

all 3 new Final cut studio X, Motion, Compresor are NO USE . . .

Deleted Items glitch?

My incoming .mac mail is going to the Deleted Items box on my IMAP mail clients (both Mail program, and in Entourage). When I check my dot mac mail on the web, that same mail is in the Inbox.
This is new behaviour, and I don't recall changing any settings. I have no rules in effect. I am used to checking the IMPAP Inbox for new items.
How do I make new mail go in to my Inbox and not to Deleted Items?

Even though you've said you have "no rules in effect", this looks like a rules issue to me, so try this to be sure (it could be that the rules file is corrupt, for example):
1. Quit Mail.
2. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/.
3. Locate MessageRules.plist and move it to the Desktop. If there is a file called MessageRules.plist.backup, move it to the Desktop too. You may also see MessageSorting.plist files there; this is where Mail 1.x stored the rules, and they are no longer used by Mail 2.x, so just move them to the Trash if you see them.
4. Open Mail. As a result of removing the rules file, the junk filter will be disabled now. You may want to either tell Mail to go offline immediately after opening it, or shut down the Internet connection before opening Mail, to prevent it from downloading anything until the junk mail filter has been enabled again.
5. Go to Mail > Preferences > Junk Mail, enable junk filtering, and configure it however you wish.
6. Go online again if you went offline in step 4.
If the problem persists after doing this, then you know the rules have no bearing on it, and you may move the files on the Desktop back to the ~/Library/Mail/ folder, overwriting any files Mail may have created anew there (quit Mail first).
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user's home folder.

Request does not contain any saved update rules; rollback not possible

In BW on hana, there's a 3.x flow DSO where it loaded a request from PSA.
It failed due to activation error SID Generation. But unfortunately, due to PSA Deletion process chain, it's PSA Request got deleted.
Now, we couldn't delete the red request(failed request) from the 3.x flow DSO.
If we try to delete, it shows job has been completed successfully with the following message:

I went to the table RSICCONT and checked the mentioned request. But I couldn't find delete option enabled. Even our basis team doesn't have authorization to delete the mentioned request from the standard table RSICCONT.

Hi Antony,
Once you have deleted the data in PSA there is no way to reconstruct the request hence you can do below things to correct it
1) Identify the No of Records which having error , because if you have more records it will take more time as in debug mode we have option to edit only one record at one.
2) Display only one record in Active table and change it using the Debug option ( not recommended ), but as you are in corner we need to use this
3) change the records with respective values and active the request again

Empty deleted items policy exchange 2010

I'd like to test it on my user only. The problem is that when I try to do it the original settings still remain. Recipient Configuration -> mailbox -> my mailbox properties -> mailbox settings -> storage quotas properties -> there I change the "keep deleted items (days)" to 1 so I can test it on myself but after clicking "ok" and then going back, it changes back to 30 and there is still a checkmark next to "Do not perm delete items until you back up the database". What am I missing here?

Based on my knowledge i have given some suggestions please have a look in to it.
1.We cannot use the search-mailbox command specifically for any folder in the mailbox.But we can use it for a whole mailbox.Below is the command which will copy the entire contents of the mailbox to the target folder called as "backup" .
Search-Mailbox -Identity "problematic mailbox name" -TargetMailbox "test mailbox" -TargetFolder "backup" -LogLevel Full -deletecontent
Note : Before executing the above command , please execute the below.
New-ManagementRoleAssignment -Name "Import Export_Enterprise Support" -SecurityGroup "Enterprise Support" -Role "Mailbox Import Export"
Once the above command is executed then you need to add your admin account to the security group "Enterprise Support" and then use the Search-Mailbox command to copy the entire items to the target mailbox and also it will delete all the copied
items from the original mailbox.
2.Another one option is to use the MFCMAPI tool to force delete the items on the deleted items folder.
Most importantly before doing all the above , please share me the error message what your users are facing while deleting the items from deleted items folder.

Using "Deleted Items" folder for long term storage.

I have a user that is using the "Deleted Items" folder in Outlook for long-term storage. He has unchecked the box in the options which would remove the items in the Deleted Items folder at shutdown
and is having problems with his Outlook freezing up several times a day. He was using a Microsoft Surface as his primary computer and has since changed to a Dell Latitude, but Outlook still freezes up. He has an Office 365 Pro Plus license.
I have been looking for articles to explain all the reasons for not using "Deleted Items" for storage, but in order to get him to change, This is not a .pst, it is the Outlook default “Deleted Items”.
. I really need some "ammunition" to let him know the consequences of keep that much mail in Deleted Items.
Could you tell me when Outlook starts, does it enumerate the Deleted Items folder as it does the Inbox?

I have to agree with Robert's point here. The question of whether or not the user should be doing this answers itself: of course he shouldn't. On a lighter note there's a Dilbert cartoon from 2003 which covers this very point:

I'd suggest you ask him to create a sub-folder of his inbox and get him to move everything over, then he still has his history and can use deleted items the way it was intended.
The question I would ask is are you sure that this has any bearing on his Outlook freezing issue? I have encountered people who never empty their recycle bin and I have encountered issues with Outlook freezing, but I don't recall ever having the two together.
If you still have issues after he's moved everything then it's a general Outlook freezing issue, so you have to look at those sort of things. For a start, is it bang up to date with Microsoft Updates? If so how big is his mailbox? Presumably he has an ost
file, so how big and fragmented is that? I'd probably try creating a new Outlook profile. If not then what add-ins does he have, could they all be disabled for a while to see if it's one of them, then add them back one at a time? If not is it worth running
a repair in Office? I've had that fix a fair few issues.
Just a few thoughts. I don't know if any of them will help.

Retain deleted items until backup

We have been following a few best practice configuration guides for exchange 2010. One thing that stood out is the retain deleted items until next backup option is not ticked on maiboxes or public folder databases. I have read up on the setting but am still
a bit unsure on the neccesity for it.
1) Can anyone elaborate on the risks/potential issues in NOT retaining deleted items until the next backup.
2) What exactly is an "item" in this concept?
PS - we have configured a policy whereby users can recover deleted emails from their dumpster for 20 days, although I think you can "purge" them from there and they are gone for good. Full backups run once per week.

1: In simple words, Precaution is Better then Cure.
Exchange will make sure that mailbox doesn't get deleted until backup is taken.
2: Item will be the emails, meeting, Notes etc. in the Mailbox.

Deleting confirmation not possible for particular PO item.

Dear experts,
we are on an SRM 5.0 server 550 with a classic scenario.
We are experiencing some problems when deleting confirmations on 1 certain process.
case:
- puchase order created with 1 item (10 pieces)
- confirmation was created for 5 pieces.
- invoice was created for these 5 pieces.
- confirmation created for the following 5 pieces
- trying to delete the confirmation but not possible because the delete button is greyed out
Does anybody has an idea why we cannot delete such a confirmation? There is an invoice on the PO item, but only on the first 5 pieces, not on the last 5...

Check the followwing points:
-Tx_RZ20. Check under menu Confirmations for Backend errors.
-Check Idocs exchanged. Check Outbound IDOCS(Type MBGMCR) in SRM an Inboudn Idocs in the backend.
-Check GR in Tx BBP_PD. Search using Object Type: BUS2203 and GR number. Search for alerts in the GR.
There is a recurrent root cause for the "GR error in process": Posting Date locked". You could try to change posting date to the currente date in th GR and confirm again.

Deletion of item from notification not possible

hi,
in notification i have 3 items . if i delete one item from that notification,it is not actually deleting the line when i select one item from the list and click on transfer posting from unres to inspec it is posting article document with deleted article.
that means the item is showing deleted but not actually deleted
can anyone suggest me how to delete item from notification permenantly

now i deleted 1 item
so 2 item moved to first line
and 3 item moved to 2 nd line
now i selected 2 item (which is in first line after deletion )and did tr posting art document posted with deleted article .
that is prevously in that line which ever article is there with that artcile it is posting
for suppose if i select line 2 (3 rd article after deletion) it is posting article documwnt as if the line is not deleted .
and how i deleted line is i selected particular line and clicked on delete row.
is there any seperate process to delete the row?

The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information. Outcome: Unknown Error

Received this error (The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information.) recently on a workflow that was
working fine and no changes were made to the workflow.
I have tried a few suggestions, i.e. adding a pause before any ‘Update’ action (which didn’t help because the workflow past this action without incident); checked the data type being written
to the fields (the correct data types are being written); and we even checked the list schema to ensure the list names and the internal names are aligned (they
are), but we still cannot figure out why the workflow is still throwing this error.
We located the area within the workflow step where it is failing and we inserted a logging action to determine if the workflow would execute the logging action but it did not, but wrote the same error message.
The workflow is a Reusable Approval workflow designed in SharePoint Designer 2010 and attached to a content type.
The form associated with the list was modified in InfoPath 2010.
Approvers would provide their approval in the InfoPath form which is then read by the workflow.
Side note - items created after the workflow throws this Unknown Error some seem to be working fine.
We have deleted the item in question and re-added it with no effect.
Based on what we were able to determine there don’t seem to be any consistency with how this issue is behaving.
Any suggestions on how to further investigate this issue in order to find the root cause would be greatly appreciated?

I understand that the reusable workflow doesn’t work properly now. Have you tried to remove the Update list item action to see whether the workflow can run without issue?
If the workflow runs perfectly when the Update list item action is removed, then you need to check whether there are errors in the update action. Check whether the values have been changed.

'BAPI_PO_CREATE1' Multiple account assignment is not possible for AFS item

'BAPI_PO_CREATE1' -> This BAPI works perfectly without the 'account assignment' option . But for purchase requisitions which have account assignments BAPI returns the error - E|8W |185   |Multiple account assignment is not possible for AFS items.
