Reuse of Component for Help Center
Hi All,
There is a need to create a "Help" option for any webdynpro application that is created in my company. Rather than develop something from scratch, I seached SAP delivered functionality and found Component WDHC_COMPONENT (for the Help Center). This appears to be everything that we want to use. However, we were unable to "reuse" this component in our applicatons. Essentially, the Help Center is not displaying when the application is run.
We read the SAP documentation provided here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/de/f1429b914148e192f334edc59f2f5d/frameset.htm and cannot find anything missing with our setup.
Has anyone else tried to use this component and were successful at it? If yes, can you please help me understand what we are doing wrong? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Cost component split transfer for Profit center valuation in ke27
Dear All,
We have activated multiple valuation/transfer prices. Material ledger is also activated.
We want to transfer cost component split to CO-PA by ke27.
We have defined separate costing keys for access to actual cost estimate for legal and profit center valuations.
But cost component split transfer to COPA works only for legal valution. Even we have defined type of valution for profit center costing key -transfer cost component split and total costs.
What should be else customized to transfer cost components splitting in profit center valuation to CO-PA from actual cost estimates?

I have assigned the same value fields used for legal valuation to column 2, which was pointed in message.
But now I got following message in ke27:
For actual data, value fields that were already populated before CO-PA valuation cannot be changed in valuation.
1. As a rule, value fields that were filled before CO-PA valuation - be it from SD or by a manual entry of a line item - can only be changed by means of user exits.
(Note that for plan data, CO-PA valuation always has priority over the values planned manually.)
2. The valuation steps in a CO-PA valuation strategy are numbered sequentially. These numbers determine the order in which the steps are carried out within that strategy. As a rule, value fields populated in one step can be used as a basis for calculating values for other value fields in a subsequent step.
Value fields that were populated in a previous step are generally not overwritten by subsequent steps.
The exception to this are steps that use a CO-PA user exit. User exits let you change individual value fields.
3. If you valuate using multiple material cost estimates simultaneously, this means that the values of different cost components within the same cost estimate are aggregated and then entered in one CO-PA value field. However, value fields that already contain data from a previous cost estimate are not overwritten by a later cost estimate. Consequently, you should assign value fields in Customizing so that the values of different cost estimates are entered in different sets of value fields.
4. When condition values are transferred to CO-PA value fields, note that condition types that are assigned to the same value field are added together. This is also the case when the condition types come from different costing sheets within the valuation strategy.
So does it mean we should define separate value fields for PC valuation?

I downloaded the Sims Freeplay app some time ago and it's been smooth sailing.
I'm a bit of an achievement hunter when I play my games, so I bought a rather expensive home to earn one particular achievement.
My "Pro Skater Deam Pad" was built, but the achievement was never awarded. Odd. So I restarted my iPad and thus the game. Still nothing.
I've had the house for a few days now and I still haven't been awarded an achievement, so I went to the App Store and clicked App Support.
It sent me to the EA games homepage, and after scouring the help center with no luck, I was finally pushed into making an account so I could ask my question.
Lo and behold, the EA games cannot access the Game Center or the App Store or anything else like that, and sent me back to Apple.
Repeat the cycle here.
So here's my question and I'd love some answers ::
"What do I need to do to fix the glitch? The app is up to date and is otherwise running perfectly fine."I doubt this warranty is still being honoured, since there was a 2 year time limit.

Hallo,
For some reason firefox has stopped loading the youtube site for me. I can watch videos other people uploaded to facebook for example, but cant get into the site. the explorer will load the site, so I've tried changing the proxy settings in my firefox as recommended in the help center, but to no avail. Also there was no update installed that I'm aware of, getting to youtube through any link will simply give me an error message saying the connection was reset while the page was loading.
pleas help me.I had trouble with youtube and cleared all history and cache. This cleared up the problem(s).

Input help for cost center & WBS element not working
Hi ALL
We are using SRM 4.0 with backend ECC 5.0.
Input help for attributes cost center (CNT), WBS element (PRO) are not functioning.
When tried to search for input help (F4) on the above attributes, I am getting message "Display not possible (Inconsistency in the input help)".
I even applied SAP note 746788 for cost center search help.
Can you tell me if I have missed any config settings?

Did you managed the transactional RFC destination in the customizing (where you define all your log. systems it is an additional field in the table control).

F4 help is not available for cost center in Confirmation
Hi
We are working on SRM 4.0
During the Confirmation of services through WEB portal ( F4 ) option is not available for Cost Center
Through GUI ( Backend) we are able to see the Values in Drop down , but when we select them un able to copy them to Confirmation screen.
Through Web front end F4 help also not appearing.
We have applied the OSS Note 935201 in spite of which, it is not working
please give me inputs on it.

Dump in Value-Help Component for date
I created a Value-Help-Component for date fields. (I cannot use the standard value help, because I need the help to start in the month, the user is working on).
I am using the Date Navigator to select a date.
If I first change the month with an arrow of the date navigator and then select a date I get a dump in the method IF_WD_CONTEXT_ELEMENT~GET_ATTRIBUTE_REF in line
attr_info = me->node_info->if_wd_context_node_info~get_attribute( name_only ).
, because the element does not have a node_info.
If I just choose a date in the preselected month (without using the arrows of the date navigator) everything is fine.
Does anybody have an idea??

I used the method bind_structure in the component containing the date navigator.
After I replaced it by set_static_attributes it worked without producing dumps.

Has anyone created a T43 version of Help Center for Productivi​ty Center?
Just curious. Running Windows Se7en Ultimate on a 2Gig T43 (2668) and everything works great. (The 40 Gig drive is half full, but when I can find a larger hard drive mfg. that doesn't give me 2010 error, then I'll upgrade. I know, lotsa luck with that! Heh heh.)
Loaded the T43's IBM Access application - works fine, but it's support links are way out of date. Productivity Center is great, but I'm just missing T43 Help Center to make it complete.
Overall, I'm impressed that my *dated* T43 still kicks butt with Windows Se7en and is rock solid performance-wise (not to mention it has outlasted 3 Dell Inspirons).
Vista never really worked all that well on the T43 and ran sluggish, crashed, etc. Windows Se7en - took to the T43 like a fish to water and it runs like a champ.

Help to find business / technical content for cost center accounting
Hi all,
I am a new to BW. Where can i find the technical and business content for cost center accounting info cube (data from R3) and the equipment info cube ZMXCART_XX(data from flat files). These are the two cubes which i learnt from training.
Does SAP BW provide techinal and business content for its demo cubes and how can i find them?

I have 2 questions
1) we dont have any default cost center maintained any where in the org-structure (PPOMA_BBP), howeverwhenever I go for shopping I can see a cost center along with GL account, ( I know GL acct is coming from "determine GL account for prod-cat" settings in IMG), but what about cost center where is it coming from ??
2) second, when we do search help for cost center's in shopping application, we are able to see all cost centers from the back end which I guess is good, but we can see even those cost centers which are blocked!!!, why is this happening ??,

For First::
In general the CO Area (here: cost center) is derived from R/3 Backend Enterprise
Structure and should be re-determined if another acc. objects is
entered that belongs to a different CO Area. Please also check the
settings in R/3 Backend IMG, path:
->Enterprise Structure ->Assignment ->Controlling
->Assign company code to controlling area
The company code is assigned to the CO Area through the following
assignment:
->Materials Management
->Assign purchasing organization to company code
The CO Area is in general the organizational object in
highest (CO) level. Assignments to other MM/CO objects are located
in lower Enterprise hierarchy level. Hence, the CO Area does not
change if a different CO object of a lower level (here: cost center)
is assigned to a SRM document.
For Second::
The only possibility I see is to set the message to error message in
the customizing in the backend. The message number is KI 170. When you
look at the long text of this message in transaction SE91 in the
backend, you will find the description where to look in the customizing.
When you have set this message to ERROR, then no purchase order will be
created in the backend. Instead the shopping basket gets the status
'ERROR' and the administrator will recieve a work item in his inbox.
Then he can check the backend and either post the purchase orders again
after solving the problem, or he can delete the shopping baskets.
Please check the note for more infos or the documentation.
Setting the message KI 170 to error message will solve your problem.
See note 333136. I would think that if you create
a PO directly in the backend if you do not have the message configured
as and error you will be able to create the PO.

everyone who's wondering that the help link (?) is not available in CRM 7.0 > SP1 should know what [Note 1410534|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1410534] says:
"The links to the Help Center Business User Documentation has been removed with CRM 7.0 SP2 due to technical considersations"
I think that is not acceptable. In contrast to the CRM WebUI the SAP GUI provides in most cases also a documentation on the Field level which can always accessed by pressing F1. Also there is a context sensitive help via Help -> Application Help. Should we miss that now completely in CRM WebUI? I have been trying to install 7kth12ww.exe on a fresh copy of Vista x64. I have selected all the default options, and the installation says it has completed. Yet when I launch "Help Center for Windows Vista" I see, >this<. Now this has been up long enough that I would think others are seeing it as well, yet I seem to be the only one with the problem. Any thoughts as to what I am doing wrong?
