Reversal of posted ED revaluation

Hi all,
I have a question regarding wrong posting of excise duty revaluation. My customer posted double FI and excise document of revaluation after change of excise duty exchange rate and we need to reverse at least one of double documents but within O4KT transaction there is no option for reversal and because the excise duty accounts are automatic it is not recommended to reverse it within FI transaction. Any ideas how to do it? or maybe some other transaction exists that it can be used for reversal? Pls advice.
Thanks

  • Reversing payroll posting document

    Hi guys,
I'm trying to reverse a payroll posting document and getting the following error:
Message no. F5802: "Document 100058306 1000 2007 already contains cleared
    items - reversal not possible"
How should i go about it? If it's referring to the clearing of employee vendor accounts, there are too many of those (all employee in the company basically) and i don't know how to reset all of them. Or if that approach should be taken at all or not.
Any helpful suggestions will be rewarded.

  • How to reverse depriciation posted to an asset

    Dear All,
how to reverse depriciation posted to an asset, since the ependiture posted is not captial but revenue, after reversing how to delete the the asset values and reverse the purchase doc so that it can be poste das revenue expenditure

    Hello surya
if an asset has been capitalized by "accident" we have the following options:
    - change depreciation key to 0000 (this corrects the depreciation in fiscal year open in AM)
    - if aquisition has been carried out in prior closed fiscal years: post a write up in current fiscal year(because you have to correct the depreciation of prior years, the dep is wrong - and maybe unauthorized) TC abzu
    - now post a scrapping TC ABAVN
Now the asset history sheet and the values of the GL are correct.
What do you think about my idea?
    Best regards

    Hi,
With u201CUnplanned Depreciationu201D posting, as immediately it will not be posted to FI and no FI document will be generated. It will be posted in next normal depreciationrun i.e., Whenever you run the t-code AFAB-Depreciation Run as part of month-end activities, system will post the u201CUnplanned depreciationu201D along with normal depreciation. So there will be no FI  document will be generated with u201CUnplanned Depreciation posting. You need to reverse only Asset document . For this purpose do the following steps :
Option :1: a) Go to t-code-AW01N-Asset Explorer, specify the Asset No., click  the posted u201CUnplanned depreciationu201D value
and get the Asset Document No. which is available under the head u201CTransactionsu201D.
                       b)  Use t-code-AB08 and reverse the Asset document     OR
Option :2:  a) Go to t-code AS02-Change Asset Masteru2014Depreciation Areas, keep the Depreciation key with u201C0000u201D value
                       b) Run t-code-AFAB-Depreciation Run with u201CRepeatu201D option by giving/selecting  the  only the specific Main
Asset No. and Asset Sub-number at  the bottom of the screen.

I am trying to post manual JV for this. Is there any other way also?
    Thank You

    Hi Verma,
Kindly reverse the entry by t.code MR8M. Your whole document will get reversed. If payment has been done but check was not issued then reset cleared items thru FBRA and pass MIRO document again with correct TDS and make payment entry again.

  • Reversing Payroll Posting

    Dear Friends
Assuming that an employee is resigning  on 25th May 2008, we did the full and final settlement for this employee.  Now the problem is he withdrawn the offer.  We have done the payroll posting last month for all the employee including this employee.
Can I do the posting reversal for this employee.  Again there is an issue that we normally does the posting for the whole employees in one stretch.  So if i reverse the payroll posting for the whole employee, make the changes for this particular employee and again post to FI this month, what will be the implications on the FI Side.
Experts please advise on how to proceed further.
    Thanks and regards
    Santhosh.S

    Hi
    Remove saperation action first,
If the payment is received by the employee then dont do the reversal of posting, make corrections in the current period for payments and deductions for those which will be done at the time of F&F.
Payroll takes care all the corrections while excuting for current period, and same implication will be taken at FI posting also.
    Good Luck

  • Control posting asset revaluation

    Hi All,
Anyone knows what transaction type I can use to do asset revaluation WITH depreciation back ?
I'm using AR29N , and the transaction type always ask me to chose the control posting "Without Depreciation Write-Back"
    Regards,
    -M-

    Hi M,
There is a difference in the posting logic between the function "with depreciation write-back" respectively "without depreciation write-back".
In principle if you choose with depreciation write back the report will post the revaluation directly to G/L (for realtime postings areas).
Whereas the standard revaluation function respectively ABAWN without depreciation write-back posts first to the asset module only, and the G/L entries will be created by the depreciation.
You can find some helpful information about the posting of new valuation
amounts in the SAP Help Portal at: http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/54/ed813ee3d32b44e10000000a114084/content.htm
If you want to post with depreciation write-back, you have to create a  new transaction type in customizing which is based on transaction type group 89. Within the link I provided above there is also one chapter "Configuring Revaluation Transaction Types".
I hope this helps you further.
    Kind regards,
    Brigitte

  • How to reverse proposal posting in F.05 - For exchng Valuation

    Hi,
When we do foriegn exchange valuation through F.05 it creates a proposal posting and a session SAPF100, only when we run the batch input session the actual postings take place. But before processing the Batch session if i try to execute again F.05, it doesnot pick up the previous proposal postings. Our client has used a Recon A/c as a balance sheet adjustment account and now when they are doing the Valuation of open items using f.05 all the batchjobs are going in error, thats why we have changed the Balance sheet adjustment a/c , but the system it is not picking up the previous posting proposals, we guess that they are updating in some internal table, please let me know how to reverse these proposal postings.  I have tried by deleting the batch input sessions, but its of no use.
    Thanking you in advance
    Sai

    Hi,
it seems that you have selected the "balance sheet valuation" flag (right below "Create postings) when executed F.05 for the first time. Doing so, not only a batch input session will be created, but the original open items are updated. You can check this when displaying any of those items simply in FB03, go into that open item, and then choose the menu path Environment --> Valuation --> Display values. If you can see some figures there, then I my assumption is correct.
Now, when you try to run F.05 again (no changes to the data in the meantime), then the same open items don't get revaluated again. This has honestly nothing to do with the fact whether you have processed the batch input session or not. The reason you can se yourself in the column called "Old difference" in the list of the 2nd F.05 run. You will notice that this old difference (shown in FB03) is the same as the currently calulated difference, so for this time, there is nothing more to post. That's why you wont see new items, using your changed G/L accounts for the balance sheet adjustment.
Here is how to resolve this:
Define a new valuation method in the IMG. You do not have to bother with the detailed settings, important is only that you select the radio button called "Reset" for this new method.
Then go to F.05 and choose the new method. You can restrict the selection to the open items in question only to make it run faster. (If you have a list of those items). This will erase the valuation figures from the items. You have no any other (standard) option to achieve this, no reversal, document change, etc. will help you, only this specific valuation method.
    Hope that helps, points welcome

    Hi Experts,
Please solve my problem, that my client users are changed the depreciation key in last month as per legal requirement. While changing the depreciation key they select the wrong depreciation key and run the depreciation in AFAB. But after running the depreciation they came to know that amount is wrong because of the wrong depreciation key. So now they want reverse the entry for last month only and post the new entry with changed depreciation key.
Please give me advise how to reverse depreciation for only Last month. That should effect the all previous posting.

    Narendra

    Hi,
Depreciation Posted of only of the Previous Fiscal years
can be reversed using ABZU Write-Up.
    ABZU -->Reverse the Past
Dep. For current depreciation reversal you have no alternative except reversing
co code depreciation document posted using OAGL and then repost it.

  • Error while reversing document posted through cash desk

    Hi,
I have posted a payment through cash journal/cash desk (FPCJ) and closed the the lot. Now I want to reverse the payment, however SAP function module 'FKK_CJ_PROHIBIT_RVRSL_OF_DOCS' is throwing an error - 'reversal not performed'. Does anyone know how to reverse a payment document posted through cash journal if it's lot has already been closed?
    Thanks,
    Suhas.

    HI Ravi,
If a payment is posted through the FPCJ and lot is closed , payment cannot be reversed that's is standard functionality, there are lot of notes on this which gives you alternative steps that need to be taken.
    check note 644870.

  • How can I reverse the posting generated by MF47 or COGI?

    Hi,
Using transaction MF47 I have generated a posting document. But when I ran MF47 I did it with the wrong posting date, so the accounting document generated by transaction MF47 has the wrong posting date. I would like to reverse the document generated by MF47 in order to run MF47 afterwards with the correct posting date. Is it possible? I  have try to reverse it using MF41 but I do not see the document generated by MF47 in order to reverse it.
    Thank you very much,
    Ariana

    Hi,
It is not possible to reverse the MF47 entry or COGI entry. Once it is cleared means that's all. May be you can try with cancelling the material document and once again you can try with the backflush. But this will not create any COGI entries reversal or MF47 entries reversal.
