Reward Zone Points Banking

I recently discovered the point banking option. I saved to the banking option a couple of days ago but today I still got issued a certificate.

    I was given another reward accumulation points card awhile back. Now will It'll take 7-10 days to link past points. But was left on the cell phone line without a response or what I can do to retrieve my triple rewards points.     If you purchased a Geek Squad Protection plan between 9/14/2008 - 7/14/2012, did not utilize the plan for service, and the plan has expired within the past 90 days, then you should be eligible for the Good Maintenance Reward.   This benefit would award you double points based on the plans original purchase price, so if you paid $100 for the plan in 2010, then you would receive 200 points.

  • Reward Zone Points Disappeared

    I made a purchase at a Best Buy store on 5/4/2013, and initally the points showed up as pending in my RZ account, but then my purchase disappeared along with any pending points. It's been 23 days and it still has not shown up. I have my receipt with me, and when i try to add my transaction, it says it was already applied to my account, although that is not the case. How do I get the points back?

    Welcome to the Best Buy forum!
    I used the email address you registered with the forum to review your My Best Buy™ account, and it does appear that you were awarded about 1500 points during the 2013 calendar year.  Your account is set to automatically issue reward certificates when enough points are earned to reach the $5 level (250 points = $5), and it looks as if $25 (1250 points) worth of certificates were issued last year.  That would explain why you currently only have about 248 points in your account.

  • Recent purchases not counting towards reward zone balance left

    I recently purchased a new laptop, and a few other things, and my reward zone says I still need to spend like $2,000 to keep my status of silver plus when I shoulf probably only need about $500-$700.
    im not being credit with my reward zone points either. I know you dont get rewards points when you use your credit card anymore, and that is complete b.s., and a slap in the face, been like that for about a year i think know but still its un acceptaple coming from a customer. bestbuy should be giving customers a reason to shop at the store again, not avoid it. even the laptop I just purchased they charged me more then the retail of $1249.99, they charged me $1300.
    can any one help me out with why my account shows that i paid $0.00 for these past few items. I had this same issue earlier in the year or maybe close to a year ago now, and it got fixed, but forgot what the issue was.
    I'm planning on buying a 500 gb solid state drive tomorrow, and if I dont get credited with my amount needed to keep my status deducted or the 7% rewardz points I Have not been gettong on some purchases either i think its only 1 item my bose headphones I Purchased about 3-4 months ago unless th estore took it upon them selves to make the decision for me, and select financing.

    I can understand wanting to ensure that every qualifying purchase you have made during the 2014 calendar year is taken into consideration when determining if your Elite Plus status will be extended until February 2016.  A potential reason why your Elite/Elite Plus spending bar may not seem accurate is because it can take up to 35 days for a purchase to reflect.  With that being said, the laptop you recently purchased may not reflect for another couple of weeks.
    As far as the purchases that are displaying as $0.00 in your account, the most likely reason for that if you used your Best Buy credit card is that the purchase was applied to a promotional financing offer.  If those purchases were eligible for a promotional financing offer, then you would need to have clicked the option for "No Financing."  While a purchase may have been awarded zero points because of promotional financing, the purchase should still count towards reaching Elite or Elite Plus status.

  • Titanfall $10 reward zone certificate

    I wouldn't worry just yet! $10 pre-order certificates don't usually post to your account until 20 days after the title has been picked up or shipped to your home. They also may never appear as pending, and instead be available as certificates immediately. If you still haven't received your points by 20 days after you received your copy of Titanfall, let me know and I'd be glad to see what can be done to assist you at that time.

  • Merging Reward Zone Accounts

    Before I had two Reward zone accounts and now after the merg it looks like i have several now. I want to use my main one which is the reward zone that is on the back of my Best Buy Reward zone credit card.
    How can I merge them all to the one reward zone account so I have my points all directed to it. When I log in here it says I dont have any certificates but but im getting an email to use a certificate I got. I am not sure how I ended up with some many reward zone #'s but I want to consolidate it down to just the one that's on my credit card from best buy.

    I used the email address you registered with the forum to review your My Best Buy™ history, and from what I can see, you currently have three active accounts.  If the primary information shared between the three accounts matches exactly and there are not multiple credit cards attached, then we should have no problem merging them together.

  • Order was cancelled and only received PART of my Reward Zone Certificates back?

    I had cancelled an order I had placed.  It was paid with $75 Reward Zone Certificates and the rest through credit card. This morning, I only received enough points back on my account to convert to a $35 Certificate.  Why is the remaining points to convert to $40 missing? I had called the Toll Free Best Buy Number but they could give no explanation.

    As you might notice if you read other threads on the forum, it can generally take 3 to 6 business days for a certificates point value to repost to a member's account following a return or cancellation.  We will need to allow a full 6 business days before considering any other options.  In the end, I will make sure the full 3,750 points are back in your account.
    If the remaining point value has not reposted to your account after 6 business days, then please do not hesitate to send me a private message and I will see what I can do to help make sure those points are added.  To send a private message, you will want to login to the forum and click on the blue button in my signature that is labeled "Private Message."

  • Can't Access Reward Zone

    When I try to log in at https://www-ssl.bestbuy.com/site/olstemplatemapper.jsp?id=pcat17000&type=page I type in my username and password.  The system then tells me it will send a verification code but I never recieve it. It's been over 24 hours since I've tried twice!  I have't been able to log into my Reward Zone at all this year and I know some of my points probably expired already. Please help.

  • Forgot to switch to Point Banking after Elite, made a purchase; too late?

    I know that it's never too late to switch to Point Banking, but I was wondering if there's any way to bank points from a certificate that was earned after achieving Elite status.
    What happened was that I lost Elite status at the beginning of this year, so I was back to certificates, after having been on Banking for a number of years in a row.  I achieved Elite status around October, but forgot to switch back to Banking.  Picked up a PS4 GTA bundle and some other things on Black Friday, and then I received an e-mail today informing me that I had a certificate issued and waiting.
    Is there any way to convert that certificate back into points and just bank them?  I was eligible for banking before the purchase, so I'm hoping I can do that, but I understand if I can't.

    If points were converted into a certificate before you officially changed your certificate preference to BANK, then there may not be much we can do.  Once a certificate has been issued, it cannot be cancelled and the points added back into the account.  If you were to redeem the certificate and process a return or cancellation, then the certificates point value would repost to your account within 3 to 6 business days.

  • SP05 standard repository passwords - Will reward good points

       We unarchived the standard repositories from Business content for SP05 patch 01 (materials, customers and vendors). In the console the repository is locked and needs login credentials. I could not find information on what user id and password to use for first time login.  Please tell me what user id / password to use for first time login to standard repositories (We have just unarchived the a2a files)

    Hi Harsh,
    <b>"For unlocking  repository, Choose Login from the context menu and enter a username and password (for the standard repositories the default username is Admin without a password). Otherwise use the username and password that you have defined in the repository".</b>
    This is mentioned in the Upgrade Guide of SP5 at page no 13. you can check using link <a href="https://websmp110.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000271872007E">Upgrade Guide SP5</a>
    Please try user Id "Admin" and password blank once more. If not successful this time then it seems that you have by mistake changed the password of the repository.

    hi there was a promotion going on that said if i bought 2 games for 59.95 each or of equal or lower value, i would get a $30 reward zone certificate, that was about the time when call of duty advance warfare was coming out, i purchased the evil within for the ps4 and i was going to preorder 2 of the call of duty advance warfare games for the xbox one and ps4. i was told that i could not purchase with the preorder, i just assumed that buying 2 of the COD games would suffice to make that promotion possible.

    I have my rewards card that me and my fiancé share, he applied for the credit card and was approved so he uses the credit card but was also using the rewards card which is under my name while I looked at the credit card today I realized that the member id is a different one then the one I have and the one we've been using. Now we're an elite member and want to start banking out points but I don't want to lose the points thats linked to the credit card. So is there a way I can merge it even though the information is different because it's my rewards card and his credit card ?

    Welcome to the Best Buy forum.
    A new My Best Buy™ account would have been created when your fiancé opened his Best Buy credit card, and any purchases made with his Best Buy credit card would post to the My Best Buy™ account that is tied to the credit card.  Since the name on each account is different, we would be unable to merge them.  It is also technically against the Program Terms to attach purchases you did not actually make to your account, as a My Best Buy™ account is intended to be used by a single member.
    If you have multiple accounts or your fiancé has multiple accounts, then we could merge those accounts; however, we would be unable to merge your accounts with your fiancé's accounts.  To ensure your account is up-to-date and to see if I can help answer any other questions, I am going to send you a private message.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the little envelope icon at the top of the page.
