Router charge - Horrible service

Was renewing my contract after 2 yrs and asked if I can keep my router as I was over 1yr, they agreed and shipped a new router (without the RMA-return adivise).  So, now after 3 months I see a $99.99 charger.   Spoke with a supervisor who was of no help said I had to pay.  Asked her,  was it not true that customer owns router after one year service and she got evasive and kept giving me a dispute address to write to.
Anybody in the same boat?  Advise?

What was wrong with the old router?
If nothing send the new one back as it's not needed.  If it's quit working you should have asked for a replacement and sent the old one back to them.

To begin, what ADA-compliant options are available to work with a service representative? I've never found the online chat service support to be available during my waking hours after checking over the last week. I can't find a contact email for support, either. I've been instructed on several occasions that I will need to make a voice call for customer service, but unfortunately, this will not be possible. I will require text-format assistance from customer support to address two issues which I am unable to solve on my own:
    1) I was charged for service following the cancellation of my service; this includes a period following cancellation during which no service was provided. After working with a representative in person, I was told that my final bill would be adjusted to reflect the legally billable amount. This was three weeks ago and I haven't received a response, and I haven't been able to find a way to pursue a resolution - What can I do to help move this process forward?
    2) It appears I will be unable to pay my bill after this dispute has been reviewed. My phone number is no longer with Verizon. The online bill payment login requires a phone number - I have never been provided with any other account number. Unfortunately, Verizon appears to close access to online bill payment when the phone number is transferred, even to accounts with unpaid invoice amounts. How can I pay my bill online?

    1) I was charged for service following the cancellation of my service; this includes a period following cancellation during which no service was provided.  Service is normally billed through the end of the billing cycle, whether service is provided or not.  "Cancellations will become effective on the last day of that month’s billing cycle, and you are responsible for all charges incurred until then." After working with a representative in person, I was told that my final bill would be adjusted to reflect the legally billable amount. According to their legal docs, the "leagally billable amount" is through the end of the billing cycle. This was three weeks ago and I haven't received a response, and I haven't been able to find a way to pursue a resolution - What can I do to help move this process forward?

How can I pay my bill online?  You cannot pay online once the account is cancelled.  You will be mailed a paper copy of the final bill, and you can mail a check, or possibly call in and pay over the phone.  But online is no longer an option once the account is cancelled.

Having horrible service with 4GLTE I have had 3G for several weeks (I am not the only person I know having this problem), I have reset my network settings and it did not resolve the issue.  I am also unable to send SMS and text messages without them either failing or not sending at all.  Is there an outage in the Cleveland, Ohio area (zip codes 44129, 44134, 44137) or anything else I can do to resolve this issue?

Not that I'm a Verizon employee, but I have experience in the field. An LTE tower will only extend up to, on a perfect day, with no elevation, 6-7 miles. On a typical day, you will be lucky at four (4) miles. The three ZIP codes you've given are all within about a 12 mile radius. That would mean that 2-3 towers are currently down at the same time, and Verizon would know about it within the hour. Being it's Cleveland, I'm sure they would receive numerous calls regarding an outage of that size.
My point is that if you're having issues in all three ZIP codes, chances are it's a phone issue. If you're handset is simply not receiving LTE, but still receiving 3G, that would signify a SIM card issue. You need to get your SIM card replaced.

  • Asset PO with Installation charges and service tax?

    Hi Sap guru's,
I searched for this topic but could not find answer. I want to create a Asset PO which had Installation charges (with Service tax). Now I want to incorporate the installation charges with its service tax to the asset account. I tries many ways but could not find the solution. Please, help me <removed by moderator>

    Hi,
    You needs two tax codes!
You PO contains 2 line items, so create 1st line item with a tax code(S1) of 5% non-credit tax and 2nd line item with another tax code(S2) of 12.36% non-credit service tax.
Both tax code S1 and S2 should have created with service tax condition with different tax percentage 5% and 13.62 % respectively where the same service tax condition type should assigned to NVV key in your tax procedure.

  • Soap Router versus Web Service Servlet

    Hello:
I am trying to understand the fundamental difference between a SOAP Router versus
Web Service Servlet?. In websphere there is a concept called WSG(Web Service
Gateway) on which we can configure an handler to intercept the incoming soap requests.
But in weblogic I do not think we can configure any handler on Web Service Servlet.
So I think for this very purpose you have this soap router right ?. If this is
correct then does the soap router will forward the call to the Web Service Servlet
    which implements the soap engine.
    Please clarify,
    Thanks,
    Vijay

    Hello,
    Right, today there is not a global handler that can be configured;
however you can do servlet filter or check out an early access SOAP
    Router[1] from Manoj.
Could you give us a snapshot of your use case?
    Thanks,

  • Compare Routing action versus Service Callout action versus Publish action?

    hi all,
Apologies if this is a stupid question, but i throw my hands up and admit my ignorance (I'm mainly a core Java developer; OSB/ALSB is kind of a sideline for me). That said...
I've used OSB (actually ALSB) on a couple SOA projects within the last 3 years. on my previous projects, we mainly only ever used Routing actions. I'm now working on a 3rd project that also uses OSB. But on this new project, they mainly only ever use Service Callout actions and Publish actions.
My question is: what are the criteria for choosing between one or the other (Routing action or Service Callout action or Publish action)?
What does one do that the others can't? I've RTFM. But it still isn't obvious to me. Please, can you fill in the gaps in my knowledge?
Thanks in advance for your time.

My question is: what are the criteria for choosing between one or the other (Routing action or Service Callout action or Publish action)?Routing Action - Routing action can be created inside a Route Node only and Route Node is the last node in a request processing. A Route Node indicates that Request Processing will end here and Response Processing will begin. You can not have any node after Route Node in the message flow.
Service Callout - Service Callout is used in real time request-response scenarios (for sync response). If you have a use case where you need to call one or multiple real time request-response services (like sync web-services) then you may use Service Callout action in the message flow. Being a synchronus call, the thread gets blocked until a response is returned from target service.
Publish Action - Publish action is used for Request only scenarios where you don't expect a response back. The nature of Publish action (sync or async) will depend upon the target service you are invoking. If you are invoking an external service through a business service then Publish action with Quality of Service(QoS) as "Best Effort" (default) will work like fire and forget and thread won't get blocked (async call). If you are invoking a local proxy service (proxy with transport protocol as "local") from another proxy using publish action then it would be a blocking call (synchronus call) and thread will get blocked untill the processing of local proxy finishes.
    Hope it helps.

  • Service entry Sheet does not pick any Condition charges From Service PO

    Hi All
Service entry Sheet does not pick any Condition charges From Service PO. What could be the reason ?

    HI,
    Please check Sap note 381030
Along with other thing It says
"Delivery costs are generally not supported in external services management and in case
of blanket purchase orders, item category D or B. Instead of representing delivery
costs via conditions, in case of service documents, freight costs and other, SAP
recommends to add in additional service lines."
So that is the reason you are not getting those account entry in the time of service entry sheet
Use another service line with text ( or service master) for the additional costs as suggested by SAP
    Hope it clarifies

  • Was not informed of new policy when signing up for service and charged for services I did not knowingly agree to.

I’m writing to contest a $29.99 monthly charge, which is contracted for 24 months amounting to $720 in total. The charge is for a data plan which I did not knowingly agree to, and verizon is unwilling to remove from the account even though the phone on the line does NOT use data.
    The backstory of the issue:
On September 19, 2014 I waited in line at an Apple store to purchase a new iPhone on launch day.  I opened a new basic line of service for $9.99 a month on my account so I could purchase a discounted phone from Verizon. When purchasing the phone, the representative explained that he was going to have to put a basic data package on the line for $15 a month, but that it would be removed once I transferred the phone to an existing line on the account.  After the purchase was complete, we transferred the phone to an exisitng line, and the represented confirmed that the data package would not be charged to my account and therefore I would only have to pay $9.99 a month for the basic line of service for two years. A couple weeks pass and I receive my bill, I notice that the data plan is still listed on my account and has also increased to $29.99 a month!  I call Verizon to see what is going on, they tell me that they have just implemented a new policy that states if I purchased a smart phone on a basic account and then transfer the phone to a differnt line that I will have to pay $29.99 a month for data even if the new phone that is currently on the line does not use data! I told them I was not informed of this, and was actually told the complete opposite when signing up for service.  They refuse to remove the data package, and will not let me cancel the account without charging  me $350.  The representative on the phone said that the representative in the store was a sales person and most likely did not have the training to inform them of the new policy change, and that they could not honor what he told me.
I should be able to rely on and trust what a Verizon wireless representative is telling me, I was not aware of the new policy and did not knowingly agree to this policy. And in that case, I would like to point out that I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 15 years humbly request that you clear this $29.99 monthly charge from my account as a gesture of good faith.
I have spent over 7 hours on the phone with verizon trying to get this resolved to no avail. I have also filed a complaint with the attorney generals office, and plan to persue this until it is fully resolved.

    Customer Agreement | Verizon Wireless
This agreement and the documents it incorporates form the entire agreement between us. You can't rely on any other documents, or on what's said by any Sales or Customer Service Representatives, and you have no other rights regarding Service or this agreement.
They gotcha! And that policy change was listed here and other places on the net.
Its either pay that or the early termination fees.
Verizon will not grant you a mistake forgiveness clause.
If they do it for you they would have to do it for everyone.
    Good Luck

I need to set limits to specific IP's or devices in my house using the internet. I heard that "Quality of Service" on the router was the best way to go. • Freight Charges in Service PO

    Hello All
For the Service Po, one main service line is maintained  with 1 (AU) & one Sub Services line is maintain ( Qty u2013 5 Ea ) & freight charges are maintain at item level ( Pricing Procedure)
(Freight condition is Header, item & Group Condition) is Rs 800/- for total Po Value.
    Details of Freight Condition:
Condition class A (Discount or surcharge)
    Calculat.type B (Fixed amount)
    Condit.category B (Delivery costs)
    Cond.control C (Changed manually)
    Condit.origin C (Manually entered)
    CASE1
In Service PO, if GR BASED IV & SERVICE BASED IV is selected.
Service entry is done for the Total Po Qty (5 Ea)  & in GRN amount capture for the delivery cost is Rs 800/- & QTY 5 AU
But during MIRO. The Frieght Amount is coming 4000/- & Qty 5 AU because it is calculating on Total qty of Line items 5 * 800.
This happens, only if Service based IV is selected.
    CASE2
In Service PO, if ONLY GR BASED IV is selected.
Service entry is done for the Total Po Qty (5 Ea) & GRN amount capture for the delivery cost is Rs 800/- & QTY 1 AU
During MIRO. The Frieght Amount is coming 800/- & QTY 1 AU. Which is Correct
But if two Service entry is done for the Total Po Qty (5 Ea) & total amount capture in GRN for the delivery cost is Rs 800/-& QTY 2 AU for the two service entry sheet.
But During MIRO. The Frieght Amount is coming 1600/-  & Qty 2 AU
    Kindly suggest
    Thanks
    Rajesh

    Hi,
Check the customization in SPRO  -- Materials Management -- Invoice Verification -- Logistics Invoice Verification -- Incoming Invoice --- Configure How Unplanned Delivery Costs Are Posted If you want to distibut then leave it blank. If you want to store in different GL then select 2
Secondly  while doing MIRO at header level go to details tab and maintain the unplanned delivery cost if you want to get distribute in diffferent line item

  • Anyconnect is not able to run with windows routing & remote access service

I am unable to connect with the new Anyconnect VPN installation when it tries to connect, it raises an alert that says, "The Windows Routing and Remote Access service is not compatible with the VPN client. The VPN client cannot operate when this service is running."
I have a Dell system laptop, OS is XP SP2 with all the latest Windows updates up to SP2. My internet connection is DSL modem. Internet hardware is an
external adapter connected to my USB port. The adapter is controlled by the Routing and Remote Access service mentioned in the alert message.
Can anyone help me how we can solve this issue. I appreciate the help and currently some of the users can not connect to my network who works from home.
    Thanks
    Chandru

I believe that Chandru's concern is in his statement that his DSL modem is controlled by the RAS service.
I agree with Andrew that Chandru probably does not need the RAS enabled. I have used several Dell laptop running XP and connected to DSL just fine without needing RAS. If there is some aspect of how the laptop is configured that results in needing RAS for the modem then perhaps Chandru can clarify this for us.

  • Proxy service routing to business services

    Hi,
I'm trying to route from a proxy service to one of two business services based on a value in a message - similar to the first AquaLogic tutorial, but I've written mine from the ground up. The message flow I've configured can decide which service to invoke, but then fails with this fault message: "Failed to get operation name from the incoming request." My two "business service" web services work fine by themselves. Does the proxy service's wsdl need to match up with the business services' wsdl's? What else could I be doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Andrew

I mapped the operation name using the ALSB console. When selecting the business service to route to when editing the message flow, you are required by the console to select an operation. My two business services have one operation each. I have selected the operations I want to use in the routing table. Since the ALSB console is providing me with a GUI tool to select the business service and operation, I'm expecting that it will take care of putting the operation name in the message after the routing step.
