Routing LSMW

Hi,
I am using standard BDC program for the Routing upload. I am uploading the Routing header data and Item data in two different files.
But the program is only updating the header data and not the item data if I dont give data for the Key number (PLNNR).
If I give the key number, its giving the error that PLNNR cannot be given externally.
There is another field called Internal Counter(ZAEHL). I am not able to understand the functionality of this field.
Please give your inputs.

Hi Ramu,
Here is one of my LSMWs. I couldn't find the input files, since I did the project sometime last year. However, it should be pretty easy to figure out; I usually use the SAP field names for my input file field names.

Use the LSMW Import function to use this in your system.
By the way, I am using direct input, so this should also be helpful against your posting in the ABAP forum.

Routing LSMW using RCPTRA01

Dear Experts,
I am having problem trying to upload my routing using this program.
I have structures for PRTs and Material Assignments to Operation.
Somehow all the other structures are read correctly (sequences, header, operations, etc) but these two structures are not read and created in my routing.
Has anyone encountered this error and what's the fix, if any?

Routing-LSMW-Component Allocation to task list

Hi Gurus,
I'm creating LSMW to Routing using Standard-Batch Input method, have mapped the required structures.
But I was unable to map the Component allocation to task list.
Is it possible in the standard one else I need to go for some sort customisation.
Can anybody throw some lite on this issue ?

Hi,
You will find BIPMZ Batch input structure for component allocation to task list in the standard structure relations (no customizing required). Use the same for your need.

Lsmw for routing

I am trying to upload routing using LSMW.
which is the best way to use batch input or direct input. I dont have a choice fof using badis or BDC
can we upload routing without writing any code in LSMW.
so i created three files
header
operation
component allocation.
what should be the link between these three files.I did lsmw for BOM. there i ve used material number as link. bou i didnt find material number in routing lsmw. so what should be the reference.
can we take group counter number as reference.
can some one provide me the source file structures for this LSMW for routing.

Hi,
You can use the standard LSMW for routing. As you mentioned first you upload the header and take the group no. as reference and upload the operation. and the components will be automatically assigned to the routing with the first operation.

Error while creating Routing using LSMW

Hi Guys ,
I am trying to create LSMW using Direct Input Method .
My structures are ::
RC271_DS Work center structure for direct input (for datasets)
RC27M_DS Material master view DIRECT INPUT routing for datasets
PLKO_DI_DS Header structure for direct input (for datasets)
PLPO_DI_DS Routing/item structure for direct input (for datasets.
I getting correct data from multiple flat files .
It's converting the data also .
But while executing start direct input method i am getting the followig error ....
You cannot edit the task list object with activity type
Please let me know problem guys .

Hi Naveen,
It means you have to assign the task list type to material type ZPRD. Then it will carry its job:
The path is:
Go To-> SPRO-> IMG Activity-> Production-> Basic Data-> Routing-> General Data---> Define Material Type Assignments. T-Code: OP50

In the forum I found that you had used some "drops", that require a password to view.

If you meet these criteria, and need a login for the SAP support site, contact the license administrator for your company's SAP licence (this is usually a Basis person). Alternatively you can contact your local SAP Sales office and speak to your account administrator.
Maybe it would be a better idea to group all standard solutions in one place.

With respect to your detailed questions, I would have a hard time answering, I have never used recordings in LSMW to create work centers, I always use standard batch/direct input. I suspect that the VGEXX items are the units of measure from CRHD, I suspect LARXX items are activities from CSSL, and I couldn't comment on FORXX items without doing some research.
This is the SCM PP forum. You might get more answers posting this in the ERP PP forum SAP ERP Manufacturing - Production Planning (SAP PP) , since work centers/routings/recipes/BOMs are more or less irrelevant in SCM.

LSMW for routing with standard batch input

Hello All,
I am trying to prepare one LSMW for routing upload for PP module. Routing data contains header data, operation data and master inspection characteristics data.
I have created three source structures viz. material- task list header, task header data, operation and inspection.
Header has been assigned to target structure BIMPL- Batch Input Structure for Allocation of Mat. to Task Lists,
Task header data source structure has been assigned to BIPKO- Batch Input Structure for Task List Header,
Operation source structure has been assigned to target structure BIPPO- Batch input structure for task list operation,
and inspection source structure has been assigned to BIPMK- Inspection characteristics for batch input of task lists.
Every source structure has been identified with an identifier value of which have been set as H, I,J,K for all source structures resp.
The excel file has been prepared as follows,
H     MATNR     WERKS     PLNNR     PLNAL
H     100045     1000     50000043     1
H     100045     1000     50000043     2
I     MATNR     WERKS     PLNNR     PLNAL     VALID_FROM     USAGE     STATUS
I     100045     1000     50000043     1     01012000     1                1

I have mentioned here the combination of first two structures only. But it contains data of other two source structures as well (for identifier J & K).
The data from the excel is copied to the flat file and same is specified in LSMW in the step 'Specify file'.
In 'Assign file' step the flat file is assigned to all the four source structure.
Now at the time of reading data system is throwing me an error as 'Ensure field sequence is correct for data for mutiple source structures' Message no. /SAPDMC/LSMW_OBJ_060026
How to overcome this?

"No valid material component found" when Routing upload using LSMW RCPTRA02

I want to upload routings through LSMW RCPTRA02 incluing routing headers, sequences, operations and component allocations. But systems appears error CM 101 "No valid material component found" . Does anybody occurs the same error before?
The materials truly exists in BOM component.

*LSMW-Routing Issue*

Hi Gurus,
I've created an Object in LSMW for Routing data Upload in Standard method..
1. Header
2. Operations
3. Material allocation
4. Component Assignment.
After throught testing, I've uploaded the data. Bust 30 % of the upload data is missing with component assignment.
Material routing is created without component assignment.
As routing is created for the material, I cant use the standard object as it supports only CA01 transacation.
SO, I created an object in Recording method for assigning component to the operation. Issue is for particular opeartion I've to assign three components... like that. It is not happening, Can any one throw some idea what to do and how to proceed ?
If I go for BDC, is it possible only assigning components to the operation.

It is very much possible to do BDC for only components allocation.
You have to use the Routing Group as a input field in the Template.

Routing upload error in LSMw

hi,
i am trying to upload data for routing( CA01) using direct input program RCPTRA02
I am getting error:
C\ 045
You cannot edit the task list object with activity type
i have serached forum but couldnt find satisfying solution.
if any body has any ideas, suggestions are welcome.

it appers this is not a lsmw problem, but it isnt really a data error.
with the same data i am able to crEATE A ROUTING MANUALLY OR BY RECORDING.
however i have a massive data to be laoded and wanted to get the perfromnace benefits from the Direcvt input.
i guess this is the proble with direct input program originally designed to create a routing.
input sturucters alsio dont have all the required fileds.
i am looking at oss notes.

Creating an LSMW for routing

I have managed to create a LSMW model, that wil create (CA01) a routing.
My problem is that components (from the BOM) is not assigned to operations.
When I display converted data, just before I create a batch input session, I can can see selected components is assigned to an operation.
When I use transaction CA03 afterwards, behind the TAB " CompAlloc" there is no materials that has been assigned to operations.
Has anyone any experience on this issue?

Error that I get is 'No profile with entry tool for task list / / / in session ROUTING_CREA', here ROUTING_CREA is the name of the session. I have given the value of field profile in 5th step when we map the fields and give some constants value for fields when required. I have given a constant value for field profile(BIPKO-PROFIDNETZ) in data maping. Profile basically contains some default values for routing when we create routing we can give the profile and routing will capture some default field values from the profile, under profile there is a check box which is 'entry tool' that must be in active mode if operation level data is required. I have done this setting going into SPRO. Now I do not know Whether the error that I got is due to the profile problem or am I missing something else. Kindly If someone before me has already been through this problem then suggest me how to fix this problem.

i think, the error is due to file naming convention in SPECIFY FILE step.
There will be a set of types of files.
1. Presentation server file name.
2. Application server file name.
etc. just double clock on the application server file name & try to change & give some meaningfulname.

Check the programs:
RCPTRA01
RCPTRA02
Go to SE38 .
GIve the name of the program.
Choose the Documentation radio-button.
Click Display.
It is pretty well documented.

LSMW Routing- Standard Batch Input BDC_INSERT, screen .&. is invalid

Hello All,
I am preparing LSMW for routing upload along with inspection characteristics with standard batch input method.
At the time of 'Create batch input session' I am facing an error 'BDC_INSERT, screen .&. is invalid'.
I have checked the forums for the same issue but it wasn't fruitful. However I cam across one thread which mentions to ensures the data in falt file, which I did checke and confirmed.
What could be the reason?

I was facing the same problem.
To solve,I filled BI001-TCODE with 'QP01' (constant) in Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules.
I know, this is a old question, but when I was searching I didn't find anything with this.
