RWB AE - display synchronous payload

Hi all,
I would like to see the payload of synchronous messages in Adapter Engine. Using RWB I display only the payload of asynchronous but not of synchronous. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks Janos.

Hi,
Some times we can't view the synchronous payload because synchronous message takes the high cache memory.
So you goto SXMB_ADM>configuration> set the LOGGING_SYNC Runtime parameter current value as 1.

• Image can't be displayed synchronous

Hi Folks
Here is a question about the image obtained from the camera can't be displayed synchronous in the indicator. What I want to do is to display the raw image in the indicator( called "Image"). I already set the indicator as synchronous display, but when I ran it, image couldn't be displayed constantly, always flashed. I probed the wire connecting to the indicator, but the image out gave a constantly, accumulated image. That's so weird that the indicator on the front panel couldn't show the image constantly.
I attached the picture of block diagram and front panel.
Thanks for your help.

• Error displaying message payload

Hi,
for some messages when I do SXMB_MONI in ABAP XI doesn't show me the message payload but an error message:
Header: Binary format cannot be displayed
Text: Cannot display document format. Do you want to save it to hard disk instead?
I say 'Yes' to store it to hard disk. But the stored file can be read by Internet Explorer or XML Spy without any issue. The file is a regular XML. So I don't understand why XI isn't able to display the XML in SXMB_MONI. The file is about 2 KB so the size should as well not be an issue.
Any ideas what goes wrong?

Hi,
I found the reason for the error:
The messages come in over HTTP. And since this is a migration project from Business Connector to SAP XI the partner sends a content-type of "x-sap.busdoc". It seems that XI can't handle this content-type. We changed it to "text/xml" and now I can see the messages in SXMB_MONI.
What's strange is that the communication (mapping, forwarding) works. Only the message display does not. And the content-type is kept even after the mapping. This does not make any sense.

• SXMB_MONI not displaying Synchronous messages

Our production instance of XI only displays Asynchronous messages and those Synchronous messages that fail. For testing purposes I need to see all my Synchronous messages, regardless of success or failure. Is there some configuration I need to do to modify this behaviour. I've searched SDN without any luck.

Steps are mentioned in this Blog by Michal

Hi Experts,
I have configured XPI properties by looking into
Message Staging and Logging Options in Advanced Adapter Engine of PI 7.3x
But whenever I tried to open the receiver payload from the receiver channel, it's showing me the sender's payload
I have configured the stagging and logger values to ms=3 and am=3
how can i respolve it?

Hi Nunu,
You need to open the message in message monitor then you can able to see the different versions.

Any ideas on how to solve this..
thanks

• Getting Error SAPHTML_E_CALL_METHOD_FAILED while displaying payload in MONI

HI Experts,
Iam getting error " SAPHTML_E_CALL_METHOD_FAILED:" While displaying message payloads in SXMB_MONI.
Facing this problem for all the messages,Issue is in production system.
Cloud you please help me in in resolving this error.
Thanks in Advance,
Regards,
Seshu.K

Hi,
This seems like some Basis config issue. might be a problem in your MONI settings,
Go to SXMB_ADM and inside Integration Engine configuration
->add LOGGING and LOGGING_SYNC under category RUNTIME and give current value = 1 (active). Save it then.
Also check if sapgui version if the latest one. Maybe you can solve the problem by upgrading sapgui.
The following SAP notes might help: 1018948, 1072109

• SXMB_MONI does not show payload after upgrade to SP15

Hi there,
We have installed SP15 in our system, everything seems to be working OK with exception of the SXMB_MONI which now does not show the Payload in the SOAP output/response.
Does anyone know if this is a know bug/functionality of SP15?
Thanks,
Roberto

The other OSS note:
SAP Note Number: 917885
XI: Attachments werden im Message-Monitoring nicht angezeigt
Version: 1, Note Language: EN, Released on: 01/27/2006
Symptom
An XML message contains attachments with mime types different from application/xml. When clicking on the attachments in Message-Monitoring for that message, the attachments cannot be displayed!
Error message is: "Format of the document cannot be displayed"
Other terms
SXI_MONITOR, SXMB_MONI, Runtime Workbench, XI, RWB, Message Display Tool, MDT
Reason and Prerequisites
Before displaying an attachment, Message Monitoring checks the mime type of the message with a list of supported types. Since there are several mime types for some applications, like powerpoint or excel, the check is not exhaustive.
Solution
The attached correction instruction adds additional mimetypes for powerpoint, excel, and word. The patch is included in SP17 for NW04 and SP7 for NW04s.
Actually both of these notes don't exactly indicate that the issue will be fixed in terms of the payload. We are going to apply it and see if it fixes the issue. I will update this forum when i try it out.

Jay

• How to download payload from b2b_instancemessage view in Oracle b2b 10g

I am not able to extract message payload from B2B_INSTANCEMESSAGE VIEW.
when i execute this query:
select payload from b2b_instancemessage where documenttype like '%rsConfirmIncid%';
the output I get is "BLOB"
I need the complete payload. can somebody please help me?

We had the requirements to display the Payload in a BAM Monitoring dashboard. Since it was not part of the typical B2B-BAM Monitoring process, and even though technically we can get it from the B2B Message view, there are some BAM feature limitations due to which we had to build a simple ADF page to display the payload and link it to the BAM report. To the end user it is not relevent if we built is using BAM/ADF as it is seamless. Hope this will help someone else who is looking for a similar solution.

• PayLoad value in TaskList

Hi,
Is there any way to display the payload value in task list page?
I tried flex mapping, but the values are not displaying in TaskList page. Please Advice
Thanks and Regards,
Pradeep

Refer to the sample "workflow-118-JavaSamples" which provides a number of example Java programs illustrating the usage of the HWF APIs.
You need create the custom worklistapp based on your requirements. Building it as a complete app or a small subset is left to users' choice.
In PS2, we are making available all the worklist components as ADF regions - so you can reuse the regions and combine with other content to assemble a custom worklist app. Styles etc are inherited from the enclosing ADF page.
Refer to the following documentation for building a custom worklist client
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_worklistcust.htm#BHAHBHID

• How to cancel (RWB) 15.000 msgs from AE ?

Hi experts,
In RWB I see more than 10,000 msgs in Holding status in AE - (Channel is a Receiver).
There are no system errors at any time. I don't want to resend msgs, but to cancel them all.
They are in EOIO order so I need to select them all at once to be able to cancel them.
The problem is that the RWB doest display first messages but it display last ones, despite
the use of free start-end date/time selection criteria.
My question is how to make RWB display more msgs than 10,ooo. (I have 15.000 msgs all together).
Or there is another way to cancel a huge number of holding msgs from Adapter Engine.
Please help.
J.

Hi,
You can try with transaction SWWL_TOPLEVEL or SWWL to delete work item corresponding to your messages.

• Passing Payload data to alert container for all SAP PI erros

Hi All,
I have a alert requirement as follows.
One alert has to be raised for all PI errors including Integration Engine errors and Adapter Engine errors. The scenario is ABAP PROXY >XI->SOAP.
Payload will have n number of fields including Delivery Number and Mail ID of a business User.
Mail has to be triggered from PI to this particular user along with delivery number. Please note this alert has to be triggered for all PI errors ( Mapping, Adapter Error,Apllication Error ...etc).
Triggering alert from an UDF by calling report SALERT_CREATE does cover only integration engine errors.It should not cover any adapter engine error.
By creating a alert rule and alert category in RWB will not have Payload data in the mail and Alert will be sent to fixed receipients. Alert rule does cover all PI errors.
How should i do this>

Hey
By regular alert mechanism,this is not possible,you need to use BPM to trigger e-mail to include delivery number.
/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/13/alerts-with-variables-from-the-messages-payload-xi--updated
>>Mail has to be triggered from PI to this particular user along with delivery number
Well this can only be done via mail adapter,alert mechanisms need a specific user ID or user with specific roles.
Thanks

• FileAdapter Write file with empty payload always error

Hi All ,
I run on 10.1.3.3.1 with patch Patch 7375080 only esb not have bpel.I have to use webservice for verify data.
and response with set of objects.
I have 2 important questions about write file with FileAdapter.
1. I want to not create file if not have error from validate data but
with this xsl tranform if I uncomment when value of condition is 'N' that will error cause single line payload.
<xsl:for-each select="/tns:populateYFRIResponseElement/tns:result/tns:wrongLines">
<!--<xsl:choose>
<xsl:when test="../tns:isHaveWrongLines = 'Y'">-->
<imp1:Child-Element>
<imp1:FrameNo>
<xsl:value-of select="concat('"',tns:frameNo,'"')"/>
</imp1:FrameNo>
<imp1:EngineNo>
<xsl:value-of select="concat('"',tns:engineNo,'"')"/>
</imp1:EngineNo>
</imp1:Child-Element>
<!-- </xsl:when>
</xsl:choose>-->
</xsl:for-each>
but if I comment if condition 'Y' FileAdapter create csv files with empty like "","" .
2.
I must write log file with FileAdapter . I want to append file so I add attribute Append=true
to wsdl
<jca:operation
LogicalDirectory="outgoingfile"
InteractionSpec="oracle.tip.adapter.file.outbound.FileInteractionSpec"
FileNamingConvention="YFRI%yyMMdd%.log"
NumberMessages="1"
Append = "true"
>
but when run that throws errors cause properties append not found.
I view class FileInteractionSpec that have append properties .I very confuse.
Any help would be appreciated.

ESB will display error payload If import not have verify error detail so I have to write 'D',0,0 (Detail,Line,Column).

InteractionSpec="oracle.tip.adapter.file.outbound.FileInteractionSpec"
FileNamingConvention="YFRI%yyMMdd%.log"
NumberMessages="1"
OpaqueSchema="false"
Append="true"
