Safety Measure Description

Hello all,
I am trying to print the text that describes a safety measure on a smartform. (Transaction CBIH03 Display work areas -> Safety Measures -> Description).
The problem is that, if the text is long it is always displayed cut. I don't really know why but I think that this is related to the text type used in the smartform (in this case, Text Element).
I have changed the text type to "Include Text" but when I look for the text name on the header of the safety measure description what I find is "CCIHT_ACH0000000000000000000000000000000000000000".
Here come my two questions :o)
- Does anyone know how can I find the real name of that text?
- No matter how long the text is, is there a way to display the whole description of the safety measure?
Thank you in advance,
Belé

Hello Belén,
In table CCIHT_ACH for the field ACDESCR, you will find the text of the Safety measure.
The long text if maintained for the Safety measure can be found in field: ACDESCRFLG in the same table.

Niraj

I have a question in this transaction:  cbih02 , dympro safety measures:
I would like to know how could i make that the field Description  (CCIHS_ACHIOT-ACDESCR) works with a Phrase catalog?
This it's because we are using phrase catalog of safety measures.

  • Link Safety measure with agent for a Work Area

    Hi,
Is there any way to match a specific safet measure to a specific Agent for a given Work Area?
For example, for a Work Area, I may have "dust" as an agent and i may need to link it with a specific safety measure oriented to people called "EPI Employee's training".
    Thanks in advance,
    Daniel Siñani

    Hi Daniel,
For you to be able to define safety measure for any hazard inducing agent, logically you must have done the study of the risks posed by that agent. This study is called as risk assessment in SAP EH&S. So, you will have to create risk assessment for "dust". Here you may assign safety measure "EPI Employee's training" under category "Organizational" and type "Education and training". Moreover, you can define many more fields for tracking of the safety measure to its successful completion.
Also, you can create SAP standard reports for Agents vs. Safety measures from following path:
IHS>Reporting>Risk Assessment-->List Agents & Safety measures for a work area, and List Agents & Safety measures for a person.

  • Person Responsible filed mandaory for Safety measures

    Dear Frndz
How to make Person Responsible filed mandatory in safety measures, while creating a safety measure.
    i found one exit
Enhanced field check for incident/accident log in create and change mode
      IHS_IALCHK
    IAL_CHECK
    CBIH_LB14_IAL_UPD_CRE_CHECK
but this is executed at the time of saving incident acciden tlog, and so check can be introduced for safety measures wrt IAL, but as we all know safety meaures are cretaed in 3 ways, 1. IAL 2 WA 3. RA
what is a way out to make person responsible filed mandatory for safety measures in all cases.
    thanks and regards.
    mandar sathe

    Hi Mandar,
    Please try it out.
    Open the safety Measures screen.
    Select System > Status.
SAP Data > Repository Data > Screen number(double click)
Here two screen Numbers are available. you need to select the second screen number (Program subscreen).
You will enter into Screen painter screen.
Click on "Go to Layout" button.
Here you select the field to be mandate. for ex: "Person responsible" in this case.
    double click on the field.
    One more pop-up screen appears.
In that go to Attributes > Program Tab.
Here Select Input field as "required". Right now it is appearing as "possible".
To do these changes, you should go to change mode. For that you need to have an "Access Key".
I think it will workout. Need not to do any changes in standard program coding.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Missing measures description

    Hi
For reasions unknown I am missing a description on PERIODIC. The result is that EVDER() is returning null as a descirption in my reports.
What is the correct way of correting this. on BPC 5.1 sp 9 (currently planning an upgrade to version 7)
    Jesper

This is not a problem, only one is used depending by the application type you have (periodic or YTD). If you have the description into DB means that the problem sis comming from the measures files created into System FIles.
SO, please go to D:\BPC\Data\Webfolders\<your appset>\System Files and verify if the <application>, measures.dim contains the description. If the answer yes, please go on your client machine and delete the Outlooksoft folder from My documents and try again to login in your appset. If the answer is not, please delete the files <application>, measures.xml and <application>, measures.dim, save your application and login again with the client.
    Hope this can help you,

  • TV safe, Title Safe, Broadcast Safe / all other safety measures...

I edit a simple slideshow, two songs and pictures in a DV NTSC 32 Anamorphic Sequence... I burn it to a DVD and looks great on a projector hooked up to a computer, and of course looks great ON a computer... other than slight interlace "waving."
I have the Title Safe checked in the Canvas options, and my type barely overhangs the inner line. On the TV, it cuts off a whole letter on both sides! Am a using the junkiest DVD player and TV combo ever? or am I just not understanding this TV Safe lines.
Clarification... I want a NTSC to monitor playback, but that just isn't an option right now. I KNOW how much I would love it, it's just that I don't have one sitting here right now hooked up. very sad.
What do I need to know about getting a movie off my FCE platform onto a DVD player and TV...
thanks for the replies. great help.

Your issue is most likely related to overscan being out of spec. The overscan is TV related and specified. It should be only relevant for CRT or projection TV's. The borders drawn on the canvas only relate to the TV standards and specifications. There should be no overscan issues with LCD and plasma TVs. The TV is probably out of alignment or maybe an old/poorly designed CRT set with high voltage power supply out of control. Projection TV's usually have adjustments that can bring them into spec either mechanically or electrically. If the TV has a poor power supply, the overscan will vary with line voltage. Your DVD is most likely o.k. Overscan was actually desirable on TV's, because people do not like black borders around the picture. As they add text (titles, subtitles, etc.) the overscan needs to be controlled. It gets even worse if text is added from computers. More modern sets from reputable manufacturers are pretty strictly controlled to have overscan, but not too much of it.

  • Measuring Point Description Change-MassChange

I have several (hundreds of ) Measuring points which i need to change .The fields to be changed include the Measuring position    and measuring descriptions. Since its a time consuming process to change individual record, can some one suggest any mass change transaction in PM with which i can achieve this changes without much time as in case of individual changes.
Please suggest some direct method in order to avoid any BDC or LSMW.
    Thanks
    Murad Shaikh

    HI  Murad
As such there is no standard T code for carrying out mass changes for measuring points except list editing (IK08) through which you can do it by selecting one by one. Since the fields you wants to change are free text type & will vary from one measuring points to other its not logical also. Better to do it through LSMW using recording IK02 its very easy & will take 10min to create one LSMW.

  • Industrial Hygiene_Safety measure

    Dear All,

The role of person responsible does not exist

    Procedure for System Administration
In Customizing for external processing, create the partner function of Person responsible for IHS safety measures.
I have maintained roles at backend (Industrial Hygiene and Safety> Basic Settings>Specify roles for persons)
    Could someone help me out?
    Regards,
    Suresh.

    Hello,
This error has nothing to do with "Person Group" maintainance, those comes by default.
It's probably dummy error message for incorrect IHS notification type settings.
The IHS notification must have the notification category 01 (PM notification) and contain the following settings:
    - Notification origin: General maintenance notification
    - Reference time: Notification receipt
    - Catalog profile: General catalog profile
    - Update group: No updating
    - Early number allocation indicator: must be set
Please modify "OS" as explained above. Hope, it solves the problem.
If it doesn't, then copy existing notification type "PM01" to "OS" and then modify changes as explained above.

    Pavan

  • Get a report of cubes/measures information?

    Hi,
I don't know what are the reporting capabilities of OWB. I just finished building all my stars and would like to get a report of the information on all the measures that are defined in my cubes. Is this possible in OWB? Do you know of any other means to get this?
Basically I need to run a check against my specs, to make sure everything was created correctly.
Thanks in advance for any help.
    --Oswaldo.

    Hi Marcos,
I've tried to open "Repository Browser" from the Design Center but I get an error page:
can't establish a connection to the server at <server>:8999
Where can I check this component's configuration? maybe redirect it to another port? I don't know if what I'm saying makes sense. You see, I'm quite new to OWB.
Validation/Generation won't work for me as to what I want to do is to make sure that all the measures I entered in the cubes match with my customer's specs (number of measures, descriptions, types, implementation details, etc). I want to do this before deploying the objects.
As for the version, I'm using OWB 10g Rel2 (Oracle Warehouse Builder Client 10.2.0.1.31 / Oracle Warehouse Builder Repository 10.2.0.1.0) over an Oracle 10g Rel 2 DB.
    Thanks for your support!

  • Safety for deleting files on accident

is there a way i can set it up so when i delete a file from the arrange window, instead of erasing from my hard drive it will just be moved to some sort of trash bin (Like iMovie dose it)?
are there any other safety measures i can take to fix, accidentally deleting a track?

    Hi there,
Audio files are not deleted from the hard drive. In fact, if you delete an audio file from the arrange window, it's still in the project. Look in the Audio Window to find it (Audio > Audio Window).
If you delete a MIDI file, it goes into Logic's trash. However, you can only see the trash via a key command. Use Option-K to open the key commands and enter "trash" in the top right hand corner. Then assign a key command to it and close the key commands window.
When you use that key command, it opens a window that looks a little like the arrange page. However, you can drag MIDI regions from it back onto the arrange page, should you have deleted them accidentally.

  • BBSM (Behavior Based Safety Management)

    Hi Everybody,
Is there any standard way to address BBSM (Behavior Based Safety Management) requirements in SAP EH&S solution?
Has anybody done any implementation or work-around for configuring it? If yes, please give the details.
    Thanks in Advance,

    Pavan Tripathi

    Hi Jayakumar,
I wish to configure the end to end process of a typical BBSM cycle right from scheduling the drives (may be work-area based), preparing the related questionnaires & checklist, observing the person & recording the findings, report generation & recommendations for steering commitee review, capturing decided "improvement goals" & corresponding action items, inforcement & tracking of the action items (safety measures like maintainance, design changes, CAPeX etc.), auditing non-compliance and traking re-inforcement.
Moreover, risk rating of individual's based on their on-task behavior, and follow-on assessment for reduction in risk rating.

However, the link must not be directed to any site containing subjects listed in the Prohibitions section of these guidelines. Members are not permitted to refer to the signature link in the body of their post text as this will be considered as advertising or board spamming.
    Guidelines and Recommendations
Before creating a new thread, search the appropriate section of the forum first for any existing and related threads. It may be more constructive to all, to advance the knowledge of an existing thread than to create a possibly redundant one. If you find something similar, but believe your topic is unique enough to create a new thread, then do create the new thread choosing your title carefully (see below). Provide some comments as to the existence of the related thread(s) you found and link to them. This will help other users and the moderators to provide the most valuable responses possible.
Post to the correct area - Post new threads in the sections for the particular family of systems, Thinkpads, Thinkcentres, Lenovo 3000, etc. Choose the proper series of systems - T, X, G, H, etc. Moderators will move threads to appropriate sections.
Title threads appropriately. The title of a thread should accurately reflect the subject of the discussion and be as technically specific as possible.  Avoid inflammatory or emotional statements that do not aid the development of the conversation. Thread titles are indexed not only for search functions within the forum, but often externally in Google, Yahoo, etc. Proper thread titles will aid the active members of the Lenovo community, as well as non-members who may be searching more broadly. Example of a good thread title: T Thinkpad Blue Screens after suspend . Example of a bad thread title: Stupid computer locks up - worthless piece of junk. Moderators may alter thread titles to be more meaningful if less than appropriate titles are chosen.
Use pictures to aid understanding and comprehension when appropriate. Screen captures of settings, pull down menus, or error messages can be very helpful in understanding an issue and helping to resolve it. Digital pictures of systems and their environments can also be helpful from time to time. Host pictures externaly, or post to photos area. Limit size to 100K or less. 10M pixel cameras are cool but the resulting file sizes are not. You can check out this article About Posting Pictures In The Forums for more useful details.
Look for ways to advance the richness of the forum. Share awareness of this forum with other users of Lenovo products that you know. Participate in special interest areas. Look for opportunities to mentor junior members - help them along the path to greater knowledge, share shortcuts. Do link to external resources and documents. Members that distinguish themselves by consistently providing quality answers, that advance the collective understanding, and resolve specific problems will attain higher rankings and privileges.
Please restrict off topic discussions to the general area.
There are thousands of online communities dedicated to a wide variety of topics from automobiles, to astronomy, folk arts to fly fishing. This community is dedicated to the Lenovo family of products, services, and the community members who own, use, and benefit from them.
    Country Location
    - Members should denote their country location in their personal profile.  Location is important when offering advice, as sales, service, and product options may not be consistent country to country. Note that community members from other countries may not all share the same understanding of metaphors, social references, or slang expressions. Posts authored with this in mind may be more easily understood by all.  This field is a requirement during registration.
