Sales Analysis Widget - Sales Quota graph data origin

Regarding the Sales Analysis Widget in the Sales Cockpit new feature with SAP 8.81
In the Fiscal Year Analysis graph I can see sales amounts this year/ last year but the yellow 'Quota' line is always 0 .
Please can someone advise where the Quota amount figure should be drawn from?
Thanks
Karen

Hi,
Regarding the 'Quota' amount in the sales analysis , can you please check the Demo by entering the Budget amount for the sales account in the Budget and then check whether the 'Quota' is populated with a value or zero.
Please check and let us know.

  • Sales Analysis Widget

    Hello
Sales analysis widget is not functioning correctly since today:
Fiscal Year Analysis graph has no data columns
Opportunity Win rate has no graph
Fiscal year to date analysis - sales employees  -----   This is OK -graph is showing correct sales amount for each employee so data is there
Fiscal year to date analysis - customers  -----   This is OK -graph is showing correct sales amount for each top 5 customer so data is there
Can someone advise what might be problem with Fiscal year analysis and opportunity  win rate charts??
    Thanks

    Hi Gordon,
This morning the widget is functioning again normally so I haven't looked at underlying query partly because i am not competent with queries to detect the problem without more help.
If you happen to know - do you think the fact that yesterday when the problem happened was the last day of our financial year had anything to do with it - or is this just coincidence?.
I checked posting periods and it all looked normal but it seems a little strange it happened on last day of financial year..
    Thank you

  • Showing Monthly Sales Analysis for Sales Employees (including credit notes)

    Hi Experts,
I want to show a report for my director so we can accurately decide upon sales targets for each sales employee for 2012.
The Monthly Report > Invoices by posting date in the Sales Analysis module is not ideal because it does not appear to include credit notes so the totals are incorrect.
How could I create a query which gave me a total for each month of 2011 for every sales employee which includes invoice minus credit notes.
Unfortunately my SQL is not great but I started something which might help - this is only for first 2 months of the year.   I presume I would need a select statement for each month if I wanted to have the sales employee name followed by a total for each month.    Maybe this is too intensive a query to run anyway.
    SELECT T1.[SlpName],
    (select(sum(t2.doctotal)-(t3.doctotal)) where (Month(t2.docdate)=1 and t3.docdate=1) FROM OCRD T0  INNER JOIN OSLP T1 ON T0.SlpCode = T1.SlpCode INNER JOIN OINV T2 ON T0.CardCode = T2.CardCode INNER JOIN ORIN T3 ON T0.CardCode = T3.CardCode)
    (select(sum(t2.doctotal)-(t3.doctotal)) where (Month(t2.docdate)=2 and t3.docdate=1) FROM OCRD T0  INNER JOIN OSLP T1 ON T0.SlpCode = T1.SlpCode INNER JOIN OINV T2 ON T0.CardCode = T2.CardCode INNER JOIN ORIN T3 ON T0.CardCode = T3.CardCode)

  • DRQ: down payments & sales analysis per sales employee

Our client sells projects which last from 2 to 8 weeks. A down payment invoice is issued before the start of the project and the remaining amount is invoiced upon completion. Sometimes due to the fast pace of the project and the payment terms, the down payment invoice payment has not been received before issuing the final invoice. In SAP Business One this results in a problem as only paid down payment invoices can be drawn from the final invoice (this is by system definition). To make matters worse the only workaround seems to be (correct me if I am wrong) to amend this with manual journal entries. However, sales employee field cannot be activated in a manual journal entry. Hence, the sales analysis report per sales employee does not reflect true sales figures. Our suggestion is to develop the down payment functionality so that it can detect issued down payment invoices when putting the final invoice into the system, to make the whole process run smoothly.

    Hi Ajo,
the comming version 8.8 includes the functionality which in the following scenario:
    1) Create Sales Order
    2) Create DP Invoice based on Sales Order from point 1
    3) Record payment of the DP Invoice
    4) Create Final Invoice based on Sales order from point 1
proposing ther DP Invoices created based on the Sales Order from point 1 for the Final Invoice (when the Final Invoice is created).
User can check and adjust (if necessary) the DP Invoices automatically linked to the Final Invoice.
Hopefully this would help in your customer business process.

  • Query to mimic the items tab of the Sales Analysis report.

    Hi there,
I'm currently looking to create a query that mimics the behaviour of the Sales Analysis report in B1. The items tab of the Sales Analysis report provides all the data I require - the only issue is that I would like to merge this data with some other data regarding current on hand stock quantities etc. and therefore I would like to be able to pull out the query behind the Sales Analysis report.
I'm assuming this cannot be done and therefore I'm attempting to build a query to replicate the results. The query needs to show Item No, Item Description, Quantity Sold, Sales Amt (in system currency), Gross Profit and Gross Profit % for items within a given period.
If this can be done relatively easily, can the query then be modified to show all items (including items that haven't sold in the date range) merely with '0' for Quantity Sold, Sales Amt etc. if the item hasn't been sold in the period, and the appropriate figures if each of these columns if the item has sold. I assume some kind of CASE statement can be used to generate this.
So the query needs to show Item No, Item Description, Current quantity in stock, Quantity Sold, Sales Amt (in system currency), Gross Profit and Gross Profit % for all items within a given date range.
I hope you can assist me with this problem.
    Thanks
    Grant.

    Hi,
Thanks Gordon that was exactly what I needed.
I've been trying to add some additional columns to the query but I'm experiencing some errors and I can't quite tell why.
Basically, here's the code from another working query I have which I wish to merge into the query you've suggested above:
    SELECT T0.[ItemCode],
    T0.[ItemName],
    T3.[ItmsGrpNam],
    T4.[Name] AS [Sub-Category],
    T5.[Name] AS [Sub-Sub-Category],
    T0.[CardCode] AS [Pref Supplier],
    T6.[FirmName] AS [Brand],
    T0.[U_Range],
    T0.[OnHand],
    CASE WHEN T0.[StockValue] = 0 THEN 0 ELSE T0.[StockValue] END AS [StockValue],
    T1.[Price] AS [PBK GBP Price],
CASE WHEN T0.[OnHand] = 0 THEN T0.[LastPurPrc] ELSE T0.[StockValue]/T0.[OnHand] END AS [Ave Cost],
    CASE WHEN T0.[OnHand] = 0 THEN T1.[Price]-T0.[LastPurPrc] ELSE CASE WHEN T0.[OnHand] > 0 THEN T1.[Price]-T0.[StockValue]/T0.[OnHand] END END AS [Margin],
    CASE WHEN T0.[OnHand] = 0 AND T0.[LastPurPrc] = 0 THEN 0 ELSE CASE WHEN T0.[OnHand] > 0 AND (T0.[StockValue]/T0.[OnHand]) = 0 THEN 0 ELSE CASE WHEN T0.[OnHand] = 0 THEN (T1.[Price]-T0.[LastPurPrc])/T1.[Price]*100 ELSE CASE WHEN T0.[OnHand] > 0 THEN (T1.[Price]-T0.[StockValue]/T0.[OnHand])/T1.[Price]*100 END END END END AS [Margin %],
    T0.[LastPurPrc]
    FROM [dbo].[OITM]  T0 INNER JOIN [dbo].[ITM1]  T1 ON T0.ItemCode = T1.ItemCode INNER JOIN [dbo].[OITB]  T3 ON T0.ItmsGrpCod = T3.ItmsGrpCod LEFT OUTER JOIN [dbo].[@U_SUBCATEGORY]  T4 ON T0.U_Subcategory = T4.Code LEFT OUTER JOIN [dbo].[@U_SUBSUBCATEGORY]  T5 ON T0.U_SubSubCategory = T5.Code INNER JOIN OMRC T6 ON T0.FirmCode = T6.FirmCode
    WHERE T0.[OnHand] >= 0 and T0.U_Range not in ('E','X')
    ORDER BY T0.[ItemCode]
Essentially I just wish to add the fields which are specified in the query above, but not in the query you've already suggested:
    SELECT T0.ItemCode,
    Max(T0.ItemName),
    Max(IsNull(T0.OnHand,0)) 'In Stock',
    SUM(IsNull(T1.Quantity,0)) 'Quantity',
    Sum(IsNull(T1.LineTotal,0)) 'Sales Amt',
    SUM(IsNull(T1.GrssProfit,0)) 'Gross Profit',
    Case WHEN Sum(Isnull(T1.LineTotal,0)) = 0 THEN 0 ELSE
    SUM(IsNUll(T1.GrssProfit,0))/Sum(Isnull(T1.LineTotal,0)) * 100 END 'Gross Profit %'
    FROM dbo.OITM T0
    LEFT JOIN dbo.INV1 T1 ON T1.ItemCode=T0.ItemCode
    LEFT JOIN dbo.OINV T2 ON T2.DocEntry=T1.DocEntry AND T2.DocDate Between [%0] AND [%1]
    GROUP BY T0.ItemCode
I was hoping it would be fairly straight forward but so far I've had limited success.
    What am I missing here?
    Thanks in advance!

  • Sales analysis for selected reps

    Hi,
I'm trying to find a way to use SAP's existing Sales Analysis reporting function to run a sales analysis report by a group of salesreps.  These salesreps are in a territory, so want to pull 1 sales analysis for this territory.
For example, I have about 25 reps in the OSLP table.  I need to run SAP's standard Sales Analysis by Sales Employee, but be able to choose several reps instead of just one or all.
I've considered adjusting the Sales Employee names so that they all fall into consecutive order in the table (example: Northwest-Bob Smith, Northwest-John Black).  This which would allow me to run by a range.  However, we want to keep historical data for each rep; when they leave our employ, we don't want to lose the record of their sales, which would happen if I routinely change the Sales Employee name field when their customers are assigned to another salesperson.
Would prefer not to have to set up queries for each territory either, because I would need to remember to maintain and change the queries to the proper salesrep each time we add or remove a salesrep.
Any suggestions on the easiest way to make SAP's sales analysis reporting do what I want without going to the work of creating and maintaining queries?
    Using B1 2007A, pl 42.
    Thanks,
    Shelby

    Hi, Gordon-
Are you referring to setting up Territories under Admin, Setup, then enter the territory in the BP, then run a query on that?
If not, how would I go about this?  I haven't used the Territory function in B1 yet, but so far only see it as a field in the BP.
    Thanks,
    Shelby

  • Sales Analysis

    Hi Experts,
We are implementing the SAP B1 in one of the manufacturing industry in which return of the material(quality, color Defect) from the customer is normal process.
    Scenario:
There is an A/R Invoice raised in the month of August, later customer(XYZ) found some defect in quality of Item and he return the material. To concil A/R Invoice we have to raised A/R Credit memo.
But after raising A/R credit memo in the month of august A/R Invoice got closed and gross profit is zero against this particular customer(XYZ) in month of August.
But in Sales Analysis report it is showing that there is sales against XYZ in month of August. And this sales is not having any profit
Please put some light on this scenario and clarify the point because it would not come in sales analysis because sale is already cancel due to debit note from customer and we have to raise new invoice against that particular customer.
    Regards,
    Amit

    Hi
How is your gross profit is set up .I tried to reproduce your issue and I come with this result .
If i donot have set up grossprofit --by means you set it by price list1 abut you donot have price list1
You will see that on sales analysis -- gross profit is zero
After I set gross profit based on price list --(You have multiple choice )
Your sales Analysis --- show the gross profit zero only on A/R credit memo
When you run your sales analysis-- click double click on the row and you can see the details .
    (I test this issue in 2007 A patch 35 )
    Hope this answers .

  • Negative Gross Profit figure - Sales Analysis by Employee

    Forum,
I have a system on 8.81 PL08. When running the sales analysis by sales employee and select one employee in particular the gross profit figure is showing a negative value.
    Why would this be negative?
The system is currently configured as follows:
    GP calculated - Profit/Base Price
The block negative stock option is also selected.
    Regards,
    Juan

    Hi Juan,
Negative value in the gross profit is due to wrong gross profit calculation in the document. If you get detail of the transaction, you will know why.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Sales Analysis "No Data"

    Hi,
I am having a problem shortly after upgrading to SBO 2007A. The sales analysis report of a client reports "No Data" when executed under the Items tab with the Invoices selection criteria. The report works under deliveries or orders criteria but when invoices are selected no data is displayed. The report works with no problems under the Business Partners and Sales employee tabs. What could the problem be?
    Kind regards,
    Anthony

    Dear Anthony,
For the issue you have mentioned, please check the following.
Please make sure to choose collation setting of:
    SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS
    when installing MSSQL 2005 Server.
In order to check what the collation is set to in your server, please
    run the following query:
    Collation of your Server:
    select SERVERPROPERTY ('collation')
(This query gets the collation settings of MSSQL 2005 System Database
    "Master")
    Expected answer : SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS
In case you have already installed the MSSQL 2005 server with any
collation other than SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS please follow the
    steps below:
Change your server collation to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS.
You can find Microsoft's instructions for changing an SQL server
    collation here:
    http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms179254.aspx
Please note that collation settings of Database "Master" needs to be
changed only. All SAP Business One Databases must not be changed! These
    must remain on SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_CI_AS.
If you need any clarifications with this process please refer to an
Expert Empowerment Session "SQL 2005 Server Collation settings" at

  • Adding Data Field to Sales Analysis Report

Does anyone know how to add data fields to Sales Analysis Reports, either in PLD or CR?  On Sales Analysis by Customer, I need to add the total quantities for all items sold for the sales included in the report, excluding negative quantities.
    Thank you,
    Avraham

    Hi Avraham.......
You can create your own Query Report for getting all the desired outputs and it will be easy to show in reports also.....

  • Data Ownership in Sales Analysis Report

The company has sales employees around the world and the company is not interested that each of them
can see the others sales, so when an employee runs a sales analysis report they should only see
their own documents but it not happened despite the data ownership funtion was activated and all the
options related with the sales analysis excluded forms was filtered by header only.
According to SAP Support team their comments were:
"We have reproduced the issue in our testing database. After verification, we noted that this is the current system definition as described in the attached Data_Ownership2004_A.pdf file. In page 11, it mentions that Data Ownership Authorizations apply to sales and purchasing documents, the Open Items List, Sales Opportunities and Sales Opportunities Reports. This is why the header filtration does n ot work in Sales Analysis Report.
As the requirement is currently not available in the standard software version of SAP Business One, we would like to ask you post your requirement in our SAP Business One Product Development Collabora tion forum."
Due to the current situation and the disconfort that this can produce, I will appreciate a lot your help.
    Thanks in adavance,
    Manuel Barrero

    Hi Vassilis,
Sorry, but in my opinion it's correct.
We also use Drop Ship and like you said in the Stock Posting List we don't have any document and it's perfect. In other way when we sell an item we want and it's true the quantity that B1 is showing.
We want to see the for a itemcode we sold 100qty qith the value of 1000.
There's no way to avoid this SAP B1 behaviour.
    Kind regards,
    Augusto

  • Sales Analysis Graph accessed from BP Master screen

    Hi,
can anyone confirm for me what the sales analysis graph numbers are based on when you use the 'chart' button on the BP Master screen?
I suspect that the numbers for each month are a total of all purchases the customer has made for that month, regardless of the year (i.e. total of that month over all years).
    thanks

    Hi,
I checked the COPY database and found that when i click the graph button alongside the balance of the Business partner, the Invoices and the Credit Memos for the year are displayed.
Is it not the same which is appearing when you click the button?
