Same available date...different displayed detail in ATP???

Have a configured ATO item. For the BOM Level 1 is the ATO item. Level 2 is a PH-1 which is an option phantom. Level 3 are comps that make up PH-1.
When I do an availability check in OM for Level 1 and look at the details I get a Material Constraint at PH-1…but don’t get the comp details in the PH-1 that is constrained.
If I go to Advanced Supply Chain Planner>>>ATP>>>ATP Inquiry to perform a check for the same ATO item the material constraint goes down to the component in Level 3. Why the different results?
ATP is based on Planning Data.

ATO Items/ Models have significant complex requirements and behavior when ATP check is called. While this is handled appropriately in ATP from OM interface, direct ATP Inquiry either from APS responsibility or similar form in OM--> Scheduling menu option.
I'll highly suggest not to use either of these ATP Inquiry forms for anything related to CTO (ATO, PTO etc) and only use OM UI for such availability checks. This is by design unless Oracle makes significant changes to how these forms are built, please note there is no configurator support from these 2 forms for similar reasons.

  • Material Availability date differs in R/3 & APO

    Hi,
    We are facing Issue with Material Avaialbility date for Planner order/Manufacturing Order in R/3 and APO.
    We are using a Master Recipe for PDS Creation in APO which consists on 9-10 different operations, out of which only inbetween operation 4-5-6 is scheduled in APO.
    So in APO Other Operations are not availble in PDS and hence not considered for scheduling as required. Also GR Processing Time is maintained on Product Master for which infinite Capcity Handling resource in created in APO.
    When we schedule Operations in APO, the Scheduled dates for Operation 4-5-6 is sent back to R/3 and for other Operations based on relationship maintained takes addistional 1-2 Days.
    In R/3 Availability Date for Planner Order/Manufacturing Order is calculating by adding a GR time after Operation 10 end time, while in APO as ony operation 4-5-6 is available a GR time is added after Operation 6, which is resulting in Differnet availability date for Order in R/3 and APO.
    Kindly suggets a way to same date in R/3 and APO, if anyone has faced same Issue.
    Thanks for your Help !!!

    Hi Senthil,
    I completly understand, that APO Material Availability date is GR end Date while in R/3 its a Process Order end date.
    But Problem is not that.
    Problem is not all operation of Process order are in APO, so assume u have 5 operations in Process order out of which only first 3 are relevant for schedulilng in APO. So APO schedules these 3 Operation and adds the GR time to Show the avaiablity date.
    While in R/3 GR Time is added after end of Operation 5 which is right, so GR end date in R/3 and APO dont match.
    Let me know if you think some more on this...!!!
    Thanks and Appreciated !!!

  • Material available date in cross-company business

    Hello guys,
      I encountered a question in <b>cross-company business</b>.
    1. create PO with ME21N;
    2. create outbound delivery against PO with VL10B.
    I found material available date in outbound delivery is always the same as delivery date in PO. why? by my understanding, material available date should got base on ATP.
      could you give me any suggestion?

    I assume that you manually created the PO. If so, then you are right in your observation.
    When PO's are created as a result of a planning run , then the MAD calculation takes ATP into account

  • Difference in Material availability date for ECC ATP check & for APO ATP check in the same order

    Hi Gurus,
    I have a question: on what basis material availability date is calculated in forward scheduling?
    Eg:
    For a customer GR hours are maintained in unloading point calendar in customer master and Customers are not CIF'ed across to APO.
    GR hours are maintained for weekdays from 8:00 to 12:00 & 1:00 to 6:00.
    In a sales order with two line items with Requested date today & plenty of stock on hand for two products( ECC & APO) where line 10 (product 1) triggers ECC ATP check & line 20 (product 2) triggers APO ATP check at same location (loc1).
    RDD is today, material availability date for ECC ATP check (line 10) is today (working as expected) but where as the material availability date for APO ATP check (line 20)is pushed to next day by which for the same customer there are different delivery dates. And two delivery notes will be created & truck will be on road at different times for the same customer which is unacceptable.
    What am I missing here to get the material availability date as today for forward scheduling? Please guide me on this.
    Thanks,

  • 2 different master/detail data sets

    Hello. I have created a master/detail dataset for a photo gallery, with customised css. Whenever I tried to use this same spry tool for different purposes, so with different customised css, the photo gallery data set was roped into the new layout. To make the two independent, I tried saving the master/detail css of the photo gallery to an external style sheet - not sure why (I'm new to this), thought it would detach those rules from the default settings. Now when I add a new data set it appears with no css attributes at all. Help much appreciated.

    I understand completely  the desire to do something that turns out to be really complicated! But therein lies a real goal.
    Have you uploaded this to a server, so I can see your code in action (or frozen...as the case may be!)?
    To target specific IDs:
    Wrap the entire masterdetail widget in a div:
    <div id="galleryone">
    <div class="MasterDetail">
            <div spry:region="ds1" class="MasterContainer">
              <div class="MasterColumn" spry:repeat="ds1" spry:setrow="ds1" spry:hover="MasterColumnHover" spry:select="MasterColumnSelected">{thumbnail}</div>
            </div>
            <div spry:detailregion="ds1" class="DetailContainer">
              <div class="DetailColumn">
                <h2>{title}</h2>
              </div>
              <div style="position: relative;"><div class="DetailColumn">{image}
              <div class="DetailColumn credit">{credit}</div></div></div>
              <div class="DetailColumn top"><em>{medium}</em>   {size}</div>
              <div class="DetailColumn">{date}</div>
              <div class="DetailColumn">{place}</div>
              <div class="DetailColumn">{price}</div>
              <div class="DetailColumn" id="sold">{sold}</div>
            </div>
            <br style="clear:both" />
          </div>
    </div>
    Then you can restyle the CSS file by making a complete copy of the CSS file and re-linking it:
    @charset "UTF-8";
    /* SpryMasterDetail.css */
    /* Copyright (c) 2007. Adobe Systems Incorporated. All rights reserved. */
    /* This is the selector for the main Master/Detail structure container.
    * If you want to constrain the width of the Master/Detail structure, set a width on
    * the Master/Detail container. By default, our structure expands horizontally to fill
    * up available space.
    #galleryone .MasterDetail {
        font: 100% Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;
        margin: 2px;
    /* This is the selector for the Master Container element which houses all the MasterColumn
    * classes. By default the Master column occupy about 35% from the width of the
    * entire structure.
    #galleryone .MasterDetail .MasterContainer {
        width: 99px;
        float: left;
        height: 650px;
        overflow-y: auto;
    /* This is the selector for a Master Column element which holds the actual data for
    * a master column.
    #galleryone .MasterDetail .MasterColumn {
        font-size: 75%;
        padding:5px 10px 5px 0;
        cursor:pointer;
        float: left;
    /* This is the selector for a highlighted Master Column element.
    #galleryone .MasterDetail .MasterColumnHover {
        background-color: #090;
    /* This is the selector for a selected Master Column element.
    #galleryone .MasterDetail .MasterColumnSelected {
        padding: 25px 5px;
        color: black;
    /* This is the selector for the Detail Container element which houses all the DetailColumn
    * classes. By default the Detail column occupy about 60% from the width of the
    * entire structure.
    #galleryone .MasterDetail .DetailContainer {
        padding:10px 0 0 0;
        width: 605px;
        float: right;
        overflow: auto;
    #galleryone .DetailColumn.position {
        position: relative;
    /* This is the selector for a Detail Column element which holds the actual data for
    * a detail column.
    #galleryone .MasterDetail .DetailColumn {
        margin-bottom: 1px;
    Notice that I have pre-pended the #galleryone to every style in this stylesheet. Be sure to leave a space after #galleryone. This focuses specifically on the master/detail in <div id="galleryone">. Make sure this file is loaded after any generic master/detail CSS file. Better yet, make all your galleries specific with IDs (both in the page and in a CSS file).
    If I only have small changes to make, I would add the additional styles into the generic stylesheet:
    .MasterDetail {
        font: 100% Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;
        margin: 2px;
    #galleryone .MasterDetail {margin: 30px;}
    Note that I only made a style selector for the one attribute that changed. All the other attributes will remain the same (font: 100% Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;)
    It is possible that styling other than specifically master/detail styling will vary from gallery to gallery.
    For instance, if h2 will change from gallery to gallery:
    #galleryone h2 {color: red;}
    Do this in either your general or your master/detail stylesheet.
    Curly brackets are the two keys to the right of the "P" key on the keyboard...shift to get curly brackets.
    When you make a secondary stylesheet (named to correspond to its use), you must attach it to your page using the Link icon at the bottom of the CSS Styles Panel. Browse to the file and press the Link radio button. Then your additional styles will show in your stylesheet.

  • Reload the same viewController with different data?

    Hi -
    I have a view which can have either a list of, say, fruit, or fruit vendors. If it a list of vendors, clicking a vendor loads a view where it lists the fruit they sell. If it's a list of fruit, clicking a fruit loads a view where it lists all the vendors of that fruit.
    The same view controller controls that page no matter which set of data is displayed.
    What I'd like to do is animate the transition when that click takes place just like I was going to a different view controller.
    I tried this:
    [[self navigationController] pushViewController:self animated:YES];
    But it's not doing anything - at all.
    Is there a way to do this short of rewriting it to have two separate view controllers for the two sets of data?
    (Sorry, posted this in the wrong forum and I don't see a way to delete it here...)

    Well, I spoke too soon.
    I can get the page to load and it animates right, but I think I haven't got it hooked up right in the nib "referencing outlet" stuff correctly.
    I can't get my head around it - I have to create a new instance of the view INSIDE a method for the view itself. I can see where the other (original) instance of the view is hooked up in the nib but I can't figure out how to hook up the new second instance.
    I'm probably not explaining this very well but I can't post a screenshot...

  • ATP based on an availability date without APO

    Hello
    we have mateirals that mature/cure for n days. We need to include that n days (availability date) in our ATP at order entry time. we do not have/use APO. Is this possible?? If so can you please share the details of how it can be achieved???
    thank you

    Linda,
    Simplest solution. Do all three of the following. Works in any system, including SAP:
    1. Include the mature/cure time in your Total Replenishment lead time.
    2. Confirm your orders based upon availability of FGs stock or excess replenishment orders; or lacking those, upon Total replenishment lead time.
    3. Do not receive the product into FG stock until the mature/cure time has elapsed.

The different hours should be enough individuality for each event on calendar.

  • Ability to set same Start date for two different discrete Job in ASCP

    We have two ATO Items and these to be built & shipped together which have different leadtimes, How we can have achieve same start date when we release from ASCP.
    E.g: ATO_Model1*24234 SO Line 1, the rolled up LT=10Days
    ATO_Model2*325325, the rolled up LT=3
    So, under normal scenario ASCP will suggest two different release dates based on LT. So, I would like to start both Job togther considering the max leadtime.
