Has anyone ome across this.
Hi,
There are several FM's for tax calcualtion:
NOR3_TAX_CALCULATION
ERS_TAX_CALCULATION
EXT_TAX_CALCULATION
TTE_TAX_CALCULATION
Try to implement one of this FM.
or
in transaction SPRO -> SRM Server -> Business Add-Ins for SRM Server -> tax calculation
you have BADIs for Tax calculation. Try to implement change tax data BADI.

Different tax codes in the MIRO for single service item
Dear all,
Customer wants to enter 2 different tax codes in the MIRO for single service item. How it can be achieved?>
Milosavljevic Sreten wrote:
> Just loudly thinking... what can be reason that one service for same invoice is taxable with two different tax codes?
>
It is cross-counties transportation. Part of route outside company country is non-taxable, inside part is taxable. Amounts are proportional to distance and hence become known only at time of invoice receipt.
Users do not want to create 2 separate invoices. They would like to have ability to enter 2 lines in MIRO. But I need your help to understand, how it can be done? Service receipt is done by single line (because actual taxable / non-taxable amount is unknown at that time). So, is it possible to enter non-taxable amount in MIRO in some additional line? -
How to enter invoice with two different tax codes in one line?
Dear friends,
I have this PO for which I enter the invoice.
I recieve later a subsequent debit for this PO from the transporter. This subsequent invoice has got extra debits, one with 21% VAT and one with 19% VAT, which means two items with two different tax codes.
I want to enter this subsequent debit for each item of the PO, and I want to enter both debits in every item of the PO.
How can I enter in one row in MIRO a debit with two different tax codes.
Thank you.I want in the same line item to enter two tax codes.
Do you Know if there is any way to do this?
It is a subsequent debit and it has two items with two different tax codes. I want to enter the subsequent debit for a PO with many items and enter the value of the whole subsequent invoice. So there is the need to enter one line item with two tax codes.
How can this be done?
Thank you? -
Acquisition tax in Belgium/Germany-Posting with different tax codes
Dear Friends,
Does anyone have experience working with Acquisition tax in Belgium and German where the goods and services purchased within EU have 21% -input and output tax such that it is ZERO. But still Tax authorities need to see both input and output tax amount with different tax code such as under:
Expense a/c Dr 100
Payable a/c Cr 100
Input VAT a/c Dr 21 - Tax code A1
Output VAT a/c Cr 21 - Tax code B1
Any help as to how to post the above entry and how to customize tax code to get the above result and any changes if required in country code tax calculation procedure will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
PinkyHi Pinky,
When you define your tax codes, the system defaults certain tax types that have been defined in the system for specific countries. Input tax, output tax, and non-deductible input tax are examples of tax types used in Germany.
The system determines which tax types are to be displayed by means of the country key. A calculation procedure is specified for each country key, and this procedure contains the country-specific specifications for calculating and posting the different tax types.
When you define the calculation procedure, you must answer the following questions concerning each tax type:
What is the base amount for calculating the tax? This can be the expense or revenue amount or, as with sales equalization tax in Belgium, a tax amount.
Which calculation type is used to determine the base amount: percentage included or percentage separate? With very few exceptions (such as for travel expense accounting in Germany), the base amount is normally determined percentage included.
The tax amount is 15%.
Percentage included
Tax amount = invoice gross amount * (tax rate/100 + tax rate)
150 = 1150 * ( 15 / 100 + 15)
Percentage separate
Tax amount = invoice net gross * tax rate/100
150 = 1000 * 15 / 100
To which side of the account must the tax amount be posted? The input and output tax is always posted in accordance with the G/L account and asset line items. For the tax to be posted additionally, the side of the account is determined depending on the input or output tax. For the acquisition and investment tax, for example, you post to the opposite side of the account.
Should a possible tax expense be divided between the G/L account and asset line items or posted separately? If, for example, you have a non-deductible input tax amount, you can choose whether to post to a separate expense account or apportion the tax expense between the G/L account and asset line items.
The type of tax calculation and posting depends on the answers to these questions and the combination of those answers.
The following topics introduce individual tax types and explain the necessary specifications for calculating and posting tax. For more information on the calculation procedure, see The Calculation Procedure.

Different tax codes for a Sales order and Credit memo
Dear All,
We have created a sales order and in the invoice some X Tax code is determined in the Account document.
But when we created a Credit memo request with reference to the same Sales order, we are getting different tax code in the Accounting document of Credit Memo.
Kindly clarify how is it possible.
Regards,
MullairajaHI
Credit memo request with reference to the same Sales order
Because Suppose
Case 1 : you created Sale order 100 PC & Delivery 50 PC, Invoice raised 50 PC
In that above case if you take Sale order reference system will take 100 PC , but logically you need to raise Credit memo for 50 PC
Like that we can create Some cases , so try to create credit memo request based on Invoice not for based on Sale order number
Coming to you Query , try to check the Ship to party for that line item and also check the master data's once
I hope you understand

Fi document: different tax code for each line item
Dear All,
Our FI department needs to post FI documents by uploading the list of line items. For each line item (even when they have the same g/l account) tax code may be different from 0 to 10%. Also the tax code needs to be entered in EUR not in %. So for example they may need to post the folowing document:
PstKey Account Amount Tax amt
001 21 Vendor 95 EUR Tax amount 5 EUR
002 50 GRIR 100 EUR
003 21 Vendor 90 EUR Tax amount 10 EUR
004 50 GRIR 100 EUR
At the moment users have to post it manually. Tax rate cannot be restricted to allow tax from 0 to 10%.
Can you please advice what would be the best approach for them to make it? Providing they do want to upload the document not enter the items manually..
Thanks a lot in advance for your help!Hi,
are there some messages during this process? Upload this list in foreground batch input execution. Verify if in stop point displays any messagem. If it is the case, go to OBA5 to change its status.
Let me know results.

Different Tax codes in SRM PO and replicate ECC PO
Hello Experts,
Problem related to the TaX code in replicated PO .
We are in Extended classic scenario.
In SRM, when creating Shopping cart we enter manual tax code like e1(20%) or e2(25%) etc and when PO gets generated and replicated in the backend the tax code changes from E1 to V4.
Now in SRM PO the tax code is E1 and in backend replicated PO the tax code is v4.
I have checked the condition records in MEK3 t-code in ECC and found that condition record for same region is v4, i think because of this condition record the system is overwriting the tax code which is coming from SRM system.
Irrespective of any tax code which is coming from SRM PO , the ecc PO overwrites the V4 tac code for same region.
How i can overwrite that the SRM and ECC should have the same tax code as chosed in SRM at the time of creating a SC or a PO
Please help to accomplish
Thanks

P.O. with different Tax codes for each line item.
Hi
I would like to know how the IV has been done for the P.O. with differnt tax codes for each line item. Since in MIRO at header level we can select only one tax code.Hi
Raju,
It means we can post only one invoice at time i.e.for line item same taxcode is there.
e.g. If line item 10 has tax code A1, 20 has A2 then on header i can only select either A1 or A2 tax code & post invoice of that line item. -

Different tax code for condition type
Hello Gurus,
I have defined a calculation schema for import POs.
I would like to automatically determine the default tax code on the invoice verification depending on the condition type, for examle:
Cond type Tax code
ZF01 Freight --> C0 0%
ZS01 Custom agent --> C1 13%
Any ideas?
Regards,
Nelson. If you wish to default the tax code for the planned delivery costs this must be obtained from an independent source which is OMR2 If you do not wish to default the tax code, then the only alternative is to select the tax code when in transaction MIRO.
At least withing the standard I don't know any solution for that =/
Sorry & good luck!

Tax code V0 country IN does not exist in procedure ZAXINN
Dear All,
The system is throwing the error Tax code V0 country IN does not exist in procedure ZAXINN while doing the MIRO:
Pls. note that the same problem has already been discussed in the forum & I have tried the same but we are stuck on the same point.
Someone has suggested to maintain Tax Code using FV11; What condition type do I need to maintain?
Also tell me whether we need to maintain NAVS : Non-Deductible Tax & JEXS : Taxes on the PO in the Import Pricing Procedure. One of our FI friends has suggested the add the same. Pls. guide.
One more problem
Would request to look into the following problem tooo..

Message no. FF713
Diagnosis
You entered a tax code which is not defined for the country of the company code to be posted to in the tax calculation procedure.
System Response
Procedure
Check and, if necessary, correct the entry.
Procedure for System Administration
If it is not an input error, check and possibly change the system settings.
To do this, choose Maintain entries (F5).
Check whether the company code is assigned to the correct country and whether the correct tax calculation procedure has been entered for the company code country.
Create a new tax code if necessary.
Caution:
Since it is possible that the tables in question are being updated at a different time on another computer, it can take a certain amount of time for the tax code to be on all local machines in client server architectures after saving the new code.Hi,
Once you make sure V0 is assigned to tax procedure ZAXINN, Counrty- India, also try:
In Txn: FV11, For the condition type- XXXX (You will get this in Txn: FTXP, against the tax type, you get the condition type OR in the PO-Item details- Invoice tab, next to field: Tax code, see the Tab-Taxes, click on it and will get the condition type) , maintain the country-IN, Tax code-V0 and the rate.
Hope this helps!

Excise tab not required in MIGO if tax code is different
Hello,
There is one business requirement
we have two special type of TAx codes. If material is maintained in J1ID with chapter id combination.
then system will propose us the excise tab in MIGO (ECC 6.0).
My requirement is if suppose we used the "Y1" tax code then system should not propose the excise tab in MIGO.
what happen stores person does not know for which material he has to capture the excise. every material he has to capture the excise.
This same material some time we have capture the excise(based on tax code) so that is the reason we have maintained this material in J1ID.
how to do?HI,
Use two different Tax code. Let's A for used as dedectable Tax(Convet Benefit)
A should have Coditions like this
Deduct able tax:-
JMOP - IN BED Settoff %
JEC1 - A/P Edu. Cess Settoff
JSEP - IN A/P H Ecess Setoff
JVRD - A/P VAT RM Deductable
Also maintain its settoff 100% for all the condition Type.
JMX1 -- IN: A/P BED setoff
JEX1 --- Ecess Setoff Sta
JHX1 IN: A/P SECess SOTot
Now for Non-deductable Tax(Inventrised) suppose ur Tax Code B
B should have condition Like this
JMIP - IN BED
JEC2 - A/P ECESS
JSEI - H Ecss
JVRN - Vat
Now in SPRO --> Logistic General --> Tax on Goods Movements --> Basic Settings --> Determine of Excise Duty ---> Condition Based Excise Determination -->Assign Tax Code to Caompnay Code.
Here give the Tax Code that CENVAT benefit.

The tax code entered is not defined in the company code country.
Dear sap guru's
I am facing a problem while doing invoice or while cancelling the invoice or even during Subsequent Credit/Debit
Tax code V0 in procedure is invalid
Message no. FF704
Diagnosis
The tax code entered is not defined in the company code country.
System Response
Procedure
Check and, if necessary, correct the entry.
Procedure for System Administration
If it is not an input error, check and possibly change the system
settings.
To do this, choose Maintain entries (F5).
1. Check whether the required tax procedure has been allocated to the
company code country. The Procedure field is on the detailed screen.
2. If you need a new tax code, you can create one yourself.
For this i have checked the assignment of company code and tax code V0 in Tcode (OBCL)
In FTXP the tax code is created in country IN, for the same tax procedure and the tax is a input tax.
please suggest what could be the exact problem
Regards
SujitHi Sujit,
1.Go to FTXP and create tax code V0 for country IN and procedure ZAXINN.
2.In Txn: FV11, For the condition type- XXXX (You will get this in Txn: FTXP, against the tax type, you get the condition type OR in the PO-Item details- Invoice tab, next to field: Tax code, see the Tab-Taxes, click on it and will get the condition type) , maintain the country-IN, Tax code-V0 and the rate.
3.Also things to be checked
1> assign country to company code
2> assign company code to tax code
3> create tax code for country IN
4.Under the following menu path, pls check if you have assigned your tax code to Company Code
IMG>Logistics (General)>Tax on Goods Movement>India>Basic Settings>Determination of Excise Duty>Condition Based Excise Determination>Assign Tax Codes to Company Code
Hope it clears,

Determine of Tax Code for Country/Product Category - Table handling
Dear Experts,
in SRM 7.0, CS, i am facing the following requirement regarding tax codes:
We have users from different countries using SRM. These different countries have different tax codes that are to be used for legal reasons.
My question is, how i can achieve a system behaviour, by which in the shopping cart, the correct tax codes gets selected automatically, based on the country of the user, who is creating the shopping cart.
Question 1:
Is it correct to assume, that this requirement can be achieved by maintaining the "Determine of Tax Code for Country/Product Category" - Table?
Q2:
What is the purpose of the 1st column of the above mentioned table, "Domestic/International Indicator"? Can it be left blank?
Q3:
Is it possible to fill in the values for the field "Country" BUT to leave the field "Category ID" empty???The reason for asking it, that otherwise several hundreds entries would have to be maintaind manaully...
Q4:
From where in the shopping cart or ppoma settings is the system fetching the Country code, in order to be able to use it in the table? Is there any specific attribute maintenance that has to be taken care of, so the above mentioned table can be used (e.g. delivery address, including the country information)?
Thank you very much for your help in understanding the topic.Hi
Here are my responses to your questions:
Question 1:
Is it correct to assume, that this requirement can be achieved by maintaining the "Determine of Tax Code for Country/Product Category" - Table?
Answer - If you have a requirement where different countries have different tax codes, then you do need this confiugration. Otherwise Configuraiton in Enter Tax Code are sufficient.
Q2:
What is the purpose of the 1st column of the above mentioned table, "Domestic/International Indicator"? Can it be left blank?
Answer - Sometimes you have different codes for International and Domestic purchases for a product Category. IN those situations you can select Domestic/International field to differentiate btw tax codes. Otherwise this field can be left blank
Q3:
Is it possible to fill in the values for the field "Country" BUT to leave the field "Category ID" empty???The reason for asking it, that otherwise several hundreds entries would have to be maintaind manaully...
Answer - No, if you enter country, then Category Id field is mandatory. You may enter * in case you dont have multiple backend systems. otherwise you will ve to ve individual entries for each category and backend system.
Q4:
From where in the shopping cart or ppoma settings is the system fetching the Country code, in order to be able to use it in the table? Is there any specific attribute maintenance that has to be taken care of, so the above mentioned table can be used (e.g. delivery address, including the country information)?
Answer - It is picked up from the address of the user where is will receive goods. and Domestic/International will be decided based on Vendor address with reference to thta address.
I hope my responses clarify your doubts.
